REVIEWS OF The Courtyard Grill at Bourbon Heat IN Louisiana

Dana Ingram

5-stars for the lunch hour entertainment! The Port Fourchon Gumbo-yaya was delicious. Just enough spice to make you smile and sing!

Kim Brennan

Kayla is the best and friendliest bartender in New Orleans!!! She makes the best drinks ever!! The music and people are great here!!! We LOVE Bourbon Heat!! And Chris, the "Barker" is awesome!!! His energy is unbelievable!! We love it here!!!,

Paige Crouse

Great night club playing HipHop/Rap music to dance to. This bar has a balcony to look down on Bourbon street from. Great service with moderate prices considering location.

Rob Brennan

Awesome place! The bartender Kayla was very nice and we had a great time with her! Chris the Barker was fantastic, so nice and fun! Our waitress for lunch was great as well! The music during the weekdays was phenomenal! Plus 2 for 1 bottles!

Jackson Daniels

Completely unprofessional bar. Staff was unfriendly and management did not seem to care about their customers.

Darlene Delgado

Horrible. Food was never ready, excuses all around the board. Groupon does not state in the fine print anywhere about it not working on thanksgiving. We were given silverware and was napkin was eaten by rats. Huuuuge eat crawled across the area. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt because it is in a courtyard, but food was horrible, blackened chicken was LITERALLY black, burned, and crispy. Fryer was never "heated up" ...so not all of us ate. Horrible. Lol literally worse place on Bourbon Street. Manager was a rude inconsiderate employee who honestly shouldn't be employed in a restaurant business. Even his employee was saying how rude he is. His customer service skills are horrible. 0000000 stars.

Gorgeous Kee

I had the Gumbo yaya it wasn't that good The Nachos are Good but the Food is a Little Pricey the Lady Manger was RUDE the lady waitress didn't even Write down our Order but memorized everything we said in didnt get anything wrong Loved Her & the Male manager was Cute & Super Nice

Peter Paul Media

Bourbon st on xmass eve is a bit more calm which I prefer. But it made this place a bit more enjoyable! Great food great service! And dog friendly!

Kameka Johnson

My family and I are visiting NO, my husband 2 kids (1, 3). We decided to carry out bc the French quarter is not the most family friendly in the evening. There was no sauce for the catfish po boy and the bread was stale. The blackened chicken that I shared with my son was raw, didn't realize and he started eating before I had a look at it. I get that most of their customers won't be back for a second visit but poorly cooked chicken is dangerous. Very disappointed. .

Jearnee Mcguin

The waitress are too pushy and service is was awful. There were no soap in the dirty bathroom. They had two small hand written sign no groupon or restuarant coupon. The food was not worth the price. Never Again

John Bennett

2 for 1 Dos XX, friendly staff and good live music. We didn't eat here but everything they brought to the other tables looked good.

Gyðia Ingela Freyasdottir

Ordered alligator poboy, got sausage poboy. Never got any refill on my water. Service sucked. Server dropped off our food and check and we never saw her again until she wanted to cash out.

Travis Bathurst

Food was awesome. Atmosphere was great. Our server Allen made the trip worth it. Would highly recommend.

Tim Crothers

Great service, atmosphere was the best we found in New Orleans so far.

Bobby Zilliox

I loved the food. Waitstaff was great too. Super nice and would defiantly go back.

Dylan Kirkland

I found the staff to be extremely rude and unaccomidating in almost every way

Nicholas Moore

really one of the more fun bars on bourbon street. reasonable drink prices. 3 for 1 at the downstairs bar is definitely better than any other venue on bourbon street. the music upstairs is usually pretty awesome.

Karina Cruz

If I could only rate the food it would be 4/5 stars. But since this has to do with service and everything else- you only get one. Came here twice on our visit to New Orleans. First was okay; second was very bad. Even after the first visit I left the shift in attitude when I told them I’d be using a coupon. Food- good! Service- bad. Our second visit we were misdirected, ignored, and then poorly treated by our waiter. We were left at a table for 20ish minutes before someone decided to actually take our order- after being ignored and just brushed off anytime we tried to get someone’s attention. I also had another coupon, and when it was added to my bill they doubled the total- which seemed like it was to get a higher tip. I would’ve tipped the actual amount but the waiter kept trying to grab the check from my hand. When he saw there was a small amount (BEFORE I ADDED THE REST) he was pushy and rude about getting more. WHICH WAS DOUBLE THE ACTUAL CHECK AMOUNT SINCE THEY HAD DOUBLED OUR BILL. We’re planning to come back to New Orleans, but definitely not this place. Save your money people. Don’t bother.

Rayburn Clipper

Drink special and a decent menu for those that need to sustain themselves as they party on Bourbon.

Reg Wilson

great food.....

Tysne13 Official

Food is great and tasty

Ryan Hicks

Stopped in just to hear some live music. Some guy was playing reggae on some steel drum so we stopped in to finish our drink from another bar and listen to him. Tipped him and then left. I probably wouldn't swing in this bar normally. Pretty small and doesn't seem to be that popular. I don't think you could ever get me to try the food. Something about this place just doesn't say we have good bar food.

Jill C

Our waiter, Alan, was very friendly and helpful and provided great service. The St Gabriel Blackened Chicken with Pasta was delicious and was prepared in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place.

Mac Moore

The food was okay, didn't taste fresh at all. The wings were crispy and good but lacked seasoning. Waiters are friendly and it's warm in the seating area.

bpharesrcc

Pretty cool atmosphere, dining seating way in the back courtyard which is nice. But I watched the cooks make everyone's food with their bare hands. They touched everything except gumbo and hot meat off the grill. Our (nacho cheese from a cheese dispenser, gross) nachos were $17 since everything you add on is additional cost. Our waitress was great. Also got 2 for 1 beers which was good. Overall, "ehh."

A P

Delicious chicken tenders, they don't have a lot of the alcohol to make the drinks on their menu though, and I had to change what I wanted 3 times before I got anything, but that was the only negative, everything else was amazing and the courtyard is gorgeous.

Josiah Molyneux

Hard to write a review based on the food. Came in got handed a menu and waited for 20-30 minutes without anyone taking our order. And not because they were busy. Only a handful of people were there and several waitresses were just standing around doing nothing. We left and others left as well for the same reason.

danny marie

Rats and roaches on back porch while people are eating. The night club is fun and drinks are good. But eating here is not advised.

Marchella Rucker

Great food, music and atmosphere

Mike Montemorra

Music is amazing, but drinks a little pricey. Oh well! Worth it...

Stephen Jackson

Roaches and rats... but good music

Grayson James

Service was very rude. Rats and cockroaches in the corners. There was hair in my chicken! This place is atrocious. Will never be going back here again

Tony B

Had the shrimp and gator sausage gumbo to start with and then the blackened chicken pasta after and everything was absolutely delicious will deff be back to visit!

Papa

Good food and drinks and music.

Alla Allen

It's very New Orleans style. Try fry fish, you won't regret it.

Catherine Peters

Just had the Alligator Sausage, and it was grilled amazingly. The music from the bar across the street filters in as I drink my wonderful cocktail, and it's wonderful. I can't wait to try my meal! Update: Our meals were absolutely amazing. Great flavor and good portion size!

Anne May

Food was mediocre. I've had better at the same price in other restaurants on Bourbon the waiter was fine and the fun steel drum guy played a variety of tunes. But beware of the receipt. We used a Groupon for $60 off food and they tried to add $60 into the subtotal before the taxes and gratuity for a large group (there were 5 of us by the way, 4 adults and a child) and then subtract the $60 twice after adding in the tax and gratuity. It took 10 mins of explaining to the manager and then 15 minutes of waiting for a corrected check for them to understand that they were trying to make us pay tax and tip on $60 of something that they didn't provide. I still don't think they understood because they did say multiple times that this is how they had been doing it.

Jamie Kinsey

The only good thing here was the service of the front doorman, Ray. He was wonderful and welcoming. Everything else was mediocre. I'd pass. Update: Before receiving my dinner order I ordered Gumbo to go....I literally received a few spoonfuls of rice and 1/4 cup of broth with one piece of sausage floating on top. For $13!!!! Then was told by Danielle that that's how gumbo looks....Now, if my family weren't from Louisiana I might have believed her. I had to take pictures and ask two strangers to verify that I wasn't suffering from sudden vision loss....I've never taken time to post a negative review before but I'm posting this to Google and Yelp. I'm so disappointed.

justin schwartz

This place has amazing food

Jose Plancher

I like the courtyard grill concept, and the food was good.

Tracy D

Place comes with watered down coolness, birds, fast service. I will be back! Best place in town.

Matt Hackett

Bartenders are very good. Music is on point! But late in the night, the bouncers take over and terrorize the partygoers

Mariah Doe

Service is decent in the courtyard. The majority of the food is good but never get a salad here. The lettuce looks like the scraps they didn't need and someone had the thought, "hey, let's just charge $10 a plate for this." And they don't even have croutons

Tonia S

If you enjoy dining with rats and roaches (yes rats and roaches PLURAL)....this is your place.

Julie Curtis

Horrible. There were RATS EVERYWHERE. I was under the understanding that rats are common in the French quarter, but when you have 5-10 rats running around you while your eating the problem should be addressed. The price of the food was way too high for how bad of quality. Our waitress was great, but I will not be returning. Guess I was too sober to see past the the rats and cockroaches around me...

Fold AiLiNG

don’t even bother trying to have fun here. the whole thing is an ordeal: long wait times, horrible food, food poisoning, overpriced items, and rude bouncers who want nothing less than to start a fight for fun

Valerie Baza

Good Flavor! Nice atmosphere!

Shealtra Carter

It was a great start to our night of fun. The shrimp and alligator gumbo, shrimp pasta, and sausage poboy was amazing! The staff was super fun and nice. Will visit again!

shaun spratley

This place was fun, the food was good, a bit pricey for the drinks but it's the experience you pay for. Live musical entertainment, and a good atmosphere. Would definitely be a return guest if ever back on bourbon st.

CanDee Lee

Love Bourbon Heat I go everytime we go out in the Quarter. Great food, great service and the staff is fun and friendly! And just love to sit back in the courtyard and have some drinks.

Mindy Cruise

Very disappointed in this place. Employees need a education on the tipping law. Demanding a tip, and a certain amount. First off it is not a requirement, its gratitude. Look the word up. The job you are doing is not worth $20.00 an hour and I don't care how many people you wait on. $2.13 is what your employers pay if you are making atleast minimum wage, but you have to turn in your tip. Which you don't. This is my first time here and Im very disappointed. I will never tip if I'm demaded to.

Jimmie Giardina

We ate here 3 times in one week. So we feel like we got a good idea of the consistency of the place. It was great! The food was great every time across varied dishes and some duplicates. The shrimp was better on days 2 and 3, however it was great on day 1. So, no complaints there. The service was superb. Friendly, genuine, fun, and involved. Great teamwork. Twice we had Jordanas our server, and that was a great treat. He was an amazing server, and person. James, at the door, is worth just stopping in to say hi. Even if you're just passing by. Highly recommend the food and restaurant staff. The cooks are great and very gracious as well. It was a pleasure speaking with them too.

Our Pov

The drink was good....but when we went there, there was no menu at the bar for how much the drinks was so we paid like 25 dollars for 2 drinks (small drinks)

Andrew Toomey

Our waiter Ron was great. He was super polite and updated us when we we're waiting for Our food. Everyone in our group loved our food and the drinks were delicious.

Kevin Burkholder

Great food love the chicken and ribs meal and my gf got the shrimp alligator sausage Creole cream sauces was to die for (kept stealing some of her food

marek

We were enticed into this bar after hearing some good live music ... got bar stools, ordered drinks , had two sips and the band stopped, it was only around 10pm so I asked if they were doing another set and the answer was yes .... tomorrow at 11am

Twinkieman _

The drinks, food and waiter was amazing allan was very nice I give this a 5 stars.

Bart J

Place had mice and large rats. Seafood tasted gamie. They claimed they were closed all day for cleaning and had slow service.

Corey Bell

When you walk by and they say "Best food on Bourbon," they're right. The fried pickles, alligator sausage, blackened chicken, and shrimp and alligator pasta were all delicious. You can order at the bar or just go sit in the courtyard to eat. Always drink specials and good music playing!

Sebastian Koprowski

Bought a Groupon to use while staying in New Orleans the weekend before Memorial Day. We tried to redeem the Groupon on a Saturday evening and were told that it is not valid. No reason was given as to why we could not use the coupon. Fine print on the Groupon only excludes 4th of July, New Years Eve, Mardi Gras, Red Dress Run, Saints home games, Halloween, and Bayou Classic. Food was ok, nothing spectacular, not too mention the rat that the chefs caught in trash can at the entrance and killed infront of everyone and said this happens all the time. Makes me question how often the health officials come by. I would give a zero but that is not an option. Will not be returning any time soon.

Kevin Forma

Food was good, pretty average but the service was awful, confused and when we we served something we didn't order the server pulled us into the back of the house drama. Would avoid this place for food when there are so many better places to go.

Teresa Ambrose

Great place! Good food and drinks great customer service.

Kevin Diepenbrock

We love coming here we bring our dogs with very nice people

Stormi Keller

Worth it!

Jordan Sadia

The food was not good and the ladies room did not have any soap and the towels had gnats all over it. But the drinks were 2 for 1 and the live music was great (that's y they got a 2star instead of 1).

Rasheeda McPhaul

The food, music, atmosphere, drinks and ALLAN, our server were AMAZING. Went to another spot and wanted to go back and give him another tip.

Melissa Jones

If you like to eat cockroaches this is the place to go. I asked the waitress to get rid if it and she said " get rid of one of our locals? " Ok whatever but where I come from I don't eat around cockroaches neither do I appreciate them crawling around everywhere when I'm trying to enjoy a drink along with my meal. I looked around more and seen them crawling everywhere on the bar side. Then I went to the food court to order take out. Big mistake ! I ordered two meals, the waitress brought me one container I asked her if that had both meals in it she said yes . I gave her $40.00 she never came with my change. I looked up on the club floor she was smoking weed with another waitress. I asked loudly where is my change. My good intentions was to make sure she received her tip. She came downstairs to run her mouth to the cashier who took the $40.00 complaining that our bill was $31.00 and that she thought she deserved a tip. So she was giving our tip back to us to make us happy. I politely asked her why she thought she didn't need to give our change back. Then I proceeded to tell her that my husband and I wanted to make sure she got her tip that's why we needed our change back. Then the little smarty pants said well why wouldn't I have gotten my tip. Very loudly I said " ITS New ORLEANS !!" Well I told her to keep the tip. However when we got back to our Hotel there was only 1 order. We got taken by so many ways here. I have never been treated so badly in NOLA or here. Normally this is our favorite place to go. However after this experience I won't be going back. They are ripping their customers off and plus I didn't take to kindly to all the dope smoke. Who ever ownes this establishment should start checking your your workers. There stealing from you.

Nicole Whittington

My husband and I ate lunch here yesterday. The atmosphere was good. The staff was friendly, but kind of slow to refill our drinks even though the restaurant was practically empty. The food was wonderful. We got the fried pickles which were excellent, my husband had the pulled pork poboy which he said was good, and I had the shrimp and alligator pasta with the creamy sauce which was good but the noodles and shrimp were slightly over cooked. Overall, it was a good place to eat, and we would probably eat there again in the future.

Brian Downey

Stopped in for lunch while exploring NOLA with the family... Loved the food, the courtyard, and the people. Great service!

Anna McKay

Had an unpleasant experience with the men who check IDs at the door last night. I currently live in New Orleans with my girlfriend, but both of which are from out of state with out of state IDs. Ages 25 and 21. I don’t want to say that the man was homophobic, but you must be really bad at your job to deny a REAL ID. & that be the reason of being denied entry. Knowing that getting a police officer wouldn’t grant us entry. It’s extremely annoying to be denied saying “I just don’t feel comfortable” to a REAL ID. Wishing I could rate this at zero stars. Guess you forgot to thank my girlfriend as well for serving our country since her ID says Vertern and has lived in New Orleans for 6 years and never been denied entry, because her ID is real.

Mi Bendix

The food was good. We were on the outside patio. There were rats running around by the empty tables looking for food. We saw one climb on an empty table.

Bobby Jones

Looking for blues bar on Bourbon Street in the middle of the day on a Thursday, this place wasn't on our list of blues bars, but had amazing solo Blues artist you could hear from down the block. Glad we walked in, friendly staff, good drinks.

Tyler Lee

A great place to eat! The scenery is beautiful and the food is amazing. Me and my fiance split a catfish plate and it was wonderful! Not too expensive, and great food to boot. Highly recommended! <3

Richie C.

My wife and I had lunch here this weekend, and what an amazing experience, Allen was our server and he did an amazing job answering all our questions and recommending some amazing food and drinks. Thank you again for all the southern hospitality and I look forward to coming back next time I'm in town!

Stanley -

I'm guessing that some of the people who visit this place don't know what good entertainment is. How could you rate this place less than 5 stars? This place is 10 stars! Too bad I can't rate it but 5. Shelton is one of the best guitarist and entertainers anywhere. He can play and sing anything. Tabitha is one of the best Bartenders in NOLA and Allen is a top notch Host. We could not have picked a better place to have lunch and a better group of people to spend our afternoon with. I mean that sincerely from the heart!

Timothy Green

Came highly recommended. And now I'm sharing the love.

Zain Gunsby

Was looking foward to the alligator sausage...but terrible service. Servers (yes, 3 different ones) never acknowledged my presence. So we took our money elsewhere.

Betty Diaz

Nice service and good food.

LuAnn Polk

Loved it.

Curtis Barrett

the downstairs courtyard with access to bathrooms is awesome. you can dance your butt off upstairs and cool off downstairs with a cold drink outside under fans and next to staffed/clean bathrooms.

Jon

Amazing Atmosphere and live music. Courtyard seating is great and deffinetly gives you the bourbon street dining experience. High energy staff will get you in the door and make sure you get taken care of with excellent service. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star review was the Ribs and Red beans and rice, with the classic New Orleans baked bread were excellent but the chicken which was half my meal was like Jerky and nearly inedible. However I will deffinetly visit again because the rest of my party had nothing but great things with their food and I'd go back just to have a beer even in that high energy but Bourbon street chill vibe restaurant.

shachar cohen

Great place. Fast service and nice staff and awesome food!

Neil Brennan

Staff was great, food was good. The patio was a quiet oasis in the French Quarter. The patio heaters were a nice touch on a cooler day.

Chad Nelson

Great music great drinks lots of fun!

Michael Benissan

The great hip hop tunes from this club is what drew me in from Bourbon street. I was able to walk in with my hand grenade, and that was awesome since I wasn't ready to rush through my drink. We went upstairs to the club for a while, but had the most fun at the bar. The music was still amazing and the bartender was fantastic. We had some shots and danced the night away. I would recommend a stop here.

Maxwell Steitz

Said my passport was fake and tried to take it/call the police? Lol my passport is quite real

Ashley Rodriguez

The pasta in the cream sauce was the only good dish.... don't get the nachos the cheese that comes on it is cheese from a can.. and the charge you for lettuce and tomato... and the catfish was chewy... service was good! Food was terrible...

Renee Fitzgerald

Food was cold, canned and in one case dry. The only things worth eating here is the wings.Cold food warm beer!

Bryan Allen

Chris is a character. He's worth coming here regardless of what the food tastes like. Find him, and you'll have a great time.

Nathan Burgess

The food was so-so and rather expensive for what it was. The gator sausage was about $10 for a single link. The drinks were also fairly overpriced and light on the liquor. Overall, the real saving grace of this place was the open-air courtyard with water misters. Without that, it would just be another over-priced tourist trap.

Cynthia Phillips

This is a wonderful place in New Orleans the food was good the music was fabulous

Thomas Carr

Awesome live music

Katherine Froncek

So good! Have their blanked chicken pasta - great chicken, amazing sauce, and just wonderful overall. Also get their fried pickles - best I've ever had! Service was great - they're so welcoming and bubbly. Atmosphere is fun - live music, warm, and sitting outside. Really such a great place for anyone.

Amber Vail

This place is located in the middle of everything. Really good food, the service was outstanding and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It does get pretty packed but every place on Bourbon is that way.

Leslie D

Had the Catfish Lafayette and it was fantastic. Very helpful attendant pulling people in.

Rana J Khan

The club itself is okay.. The lady bartender with alot of tattoos, on ground floor is lazy as f***. She pretended she couldn’t hear what we wanted because of the “music” when i was pretty clear. I practically had to make my own drink. She needs to learn customer service. If she was working for me, i would have fired her long time ago.

Lela Simon

Traveler HEAR ME! I beseech you! Do not eat at this place! Walk 15 more feet. Save yourself the time, money and sadness. The "gumbo" served to me was undercooked rice with water. A tablespoon of gumbo file was dumped on top just to the left of the undercooked sausage and what appeared to be yesterday's chicken. Let me assure you that none of these ingredients had been introduced to one another for more than two minutes before they were presented to me. If this is truly your "Mawmaw's" gumbo, I have sad news. Your Mawmaw never loved you. I suspect, however, that the owners of this establishment are simply cashing in on the memory of a beloved matriarch by desecrating her memory daily. The etouffe was passable--if we were in Michigan. The jambalaya was straight from a box. A po'boy is on very specific bread. You won't find that bread here. You can find better food for the same price point. I promise. Service was good. Guitarist was decent. Go ahead & buy a drink. Then keep walking.

Christy A

We had our Welcome Reception here the night before our wedding. It was a destination wedding and this was the first time a lot of our guest came to New Orleans. I worked with Amanda to organize our group event. It was on the second floor. The food was great and a good value. The bartenders did a great job. Everyone loved having the balcony over Bourbon Street to look at. Music was great. Everyone had a great time.

Aaron Gleeson

They don’t understand ID, uneducated?

Bellaluz Peralta

Pasta and fries were good but the drinks were watered down

Jim Strankinga

Great band, friendly people, clean restrooms.

Carl Bechtol

Awesome cafe/bar/patio/balcony bistro. Listening to some excellent live southern rock.

B Lott

I liked the location and the courtyard for dining but our waitress was the worst. My cajun chicken sandwich was way over-cooked and dry. My co-worker asked several times for a menu and for the drinks he ordered 20 minutes ago and her response was that she was slow after being out partying all night. That's all fun and laughs but not when your service sucks. They had a nice little club upstairs and a balcony to hang out on.

Sapphire Bapt

Food was really great. Failed to notify us about the "20%" gratuity charge.

Jacqueline Torres

I liked the spray mist fans and cute scenery, however the waitress was really rude and didn't allow us to split our checks, and overcharged us. I simply ordered a shr po-boy with fries, but the fries came out stale, overfried and hard. Was very unsatisfied with the service and treatment.

Jeff Colgate

Two days in a roll, Ace is the best server ever. Makes you feel right at home. Great place

kiddfox98 .

2nd time here. Fried pickles and boneless wings are a good choice. 2 for 1 bottled beers.

charles genopwr

Only 1 of 4 meals was worth the money: my daughter’s catfish. The blackened chicken was dry. You could make a better chicken sandwich at home. Pricey. Good French fries.

Frankie Hernandez

Amazing food. The chicken strips were so good and the alligator sausage pasta was to die for. Very friendly service and loved the cozy atmosphere. Not cheap.

Ali Houser

The food was great but the service was even better!! I would go solely for the service!! Our waiter made it so fun and enjoyable! 10/10 would definitely go back!! :)

Erin Morton

One of the best meal we had all week! Fun atmosphere, kid freindly, and did I mention the food was GREAT!

Magdalena Morales

I ordered a Blackened Chicken Caesar salad, which was delicious. We stopped in because they told at the door that they had a 2 for 1 drink special. When we were seated the manager kindly apologized and told us that the special ended at 9, but that he would talk to the guy at the door. I honestly didn't care to much about getting a drink. The food is a little over priced for the serving portion, even if it is Bourbon St. Aside from that my experience was very pleasant the manager waited on our table and he was really nice. I recommend this restaurant if you want to try NOLA cuisine.

Nazary Nebeluk

I went here for what was supposed to be a private event and was severely disappointed. We didn't get the second floor reserved as promised - had to split it with a wedding party - and they allowed random people off the street to join us. The drinks are incredibly expensive - nowhere should a miller high life cost $6 - but if you're here the frozen red bull vodka from the downstairs bar is a "deal" at only $12.75. They do have a balcony that overlooks Bourbon which is their only draw and saving grace - it may be fun to experience once but I won't be back.

Jan Frech

Was in town last Tuesday afternoon for a wander, could hear the music a ways off, poked my head in and stayed a while. Just had a hot dog and spicy/seasoned fries which were good and a beer (2 for 1), the music was great but quite loud and Tabitha was a sweet heart...even after she started throwing napkins at me.

Josh Lubrano

We've been there a couple times. I thought the food was very good. I really like the blues bands they bring in though. It's a fun place to listen to local blues.

Hffggvbkilary Rofgbbwe

The food was great. The waitresses was awesome. The outdoor seating was very nice. The staff was amazing and they are pet friendly.

Gabrielle Bookhardt

Love the bourbon heat i go to the club everytime I’m in new Orleans the music use to be on point but now all the play is techno music to every song that plays

John Couret

Server named Simon was polite. Food tastes okay however we ordered the "stuffed" tortilla cheese sticks and found all 12 to be hollow. We also ordered the Cajun sausage which came out room temperature at best. We live here in New Orleans and for a pretty slow night the food was a disappointment.

Angela Willey

Food was ok, nothing great. We came at a busy time, lunchtime on Sunday. I felt sorry for the server. She was the only one in the courtyard and every table was full. I bet there were 15-20 tables with 3-4 at each. It took quite some time to get our food because I believe she forgot to put in the order. She came back to check again what we ordered about 20 min after she originally got it. It took at least 40 min to get our food. Only 3 dishes, along with 1 appetizer were served with soda, no alcohol at all and our total came to $70! I was quite surprised. The gentleman at the door seating was very friendly though!

Robert B.

Easily the dryest chicken I have ever had. And side dishes did not have much flavor. Would not recommend

Michael Nahkies

Great live music, closing time is variable dependent on how busy they are

kirt medve

Catfish Lafayette was amazing. I really didn't expect this quality of food from a place on burbon st.

brandi yargo

We had such a great time due to our awesome server Simon! He was very accomidating and friendly! It was an excellent experience and I'll definitely refer friends!

Laura Sauter

My friend's purse got stolen during a private party. While she did leave her purse unattended, the management allowed unauthorized people into the private party, and this is most likely why my friends purse was stolen. Additionally, the management is charging my friend for plant repotting, claiming that she ripped the plant out of the pot (see attached photos--this plant was obviously removed a long time ago). After spending $5,000 on a tab here (and not using all of it), I was expecting more. I was hoping for a fun night in New Orleans, but this establishment has not been helpful. We have been accused of things we did not do, all in search of my friends bag.

Heaven Kirk

Love the music, lights, and atmosphere! And decently cheaper drinks compared to other bars and clubs. Also I loved the little chill area downstairs by the bathrooms, great place to cool off or smoke before you go back up!

Todd Tocco

The best food I have had in for ever. I got two servings of the alligator sausage. Great service and atmosphere. Outside seating but they keep it cool enough.

Not sure what was going on, but I was sober and VIP yet they still kicked me out the club. Just wanted to use the restroom and tried to tell the manager multiple times yet they made us jump through hoops and wouldn't even let us explain before calling the police to escort us out. Anyway never coming back there.

We actually didn't go for the club, but for dinner, as we had a Groupon. No one came to greet us when we sat down, and we got tired of waiting so found some menus ourselves. We then knew what we wanted, but still no one had come to take our orders or provide water or drinks. We took a bathroom break, came back, and still nothing. After 15-20 minutes, we finally went and asked for someone and got a waitress. She ended up being really cool. This place had lives music, but it's in a hectic area obviously. Don't eat lunch or dinner here if you're expecting peaceful (I mean, it's on Bourbon Street, so what do you expect). Our food ended up being super tasty, so overall I'm pleased with my experience. It wasn't my favorite place to eat in NOLA, but still worth checking out if you're hungry on Bourbon Street.

By far the best time we had while in New Orleans! The staff was so pleasant and the musician playing during the day was great!! We live bed the atmosphere and positivity of the entire place! The gentlemen that was working the street getting people to come inside had an amazing attitude and by far is the reason we stopped originally and then kept coming back!

I had the gator sausage. It was delicious. I'm surprised at some of the bad reviews. We were treated great and it was an overall good experience. The waiter was very helpful. Me, my wife and two kids were all very happy with everything.

I'd give less if i could. This was our very first stop in new orleans and tbis is how my wife and i were treated. We had a 25 off 50 or more certificate and were very excited to try this places food and drinks. Walked in and the 2 young bartenders immediately pulled out there phones leaned on the bar and ignored us. Waived to them and anyone else we saw that possibly worked there. Nothing! We were ghosts to them. 15 minutes later we sat at the bar right in front of them and called to them politely. Eventually I yelled out excuse me about 6 times. We were inside this place almost 30 minutes. We hadnt had any food or drinks since we left california. They were serving and talking to all the nice straight people but I think we were ignored for being lesbians honestly. If it was for age they could have asked for id since I'm almost 30. But since we were 2 feet from there faces and they ignored us no eye contact we didn't even exist to them. After nearly 30 minutes of being ignored to our faces we left. As soon as We did those 2 young bartenders boy and girl put phones away. We went to the funky pirate down the way and told them everything! They explained to me they hire the crappiest staff and they are always playing with phones rather than working. But they agreed my wife and I were purposely ignored after all our attempts. We spent $80 at the funky pirate between food delivery and drinks and tips. That couldve beenbourbon heats 80 bucks. I wouldn't suggest this place to any gay person. This place should be called Bourbon Hate. $25 gift card was wasted since they refused to serve or even look at us.

The food was EXCELLENT! Our waitress Cynthia was awesome. Thank you girl for making our visit a nice a experience. The fried fish, gumbo and ribs were excellent. My friend had the dish with rice topped with fried fish which had shrimp in a cream sauce. They Loved it. Now, I would have given 5 stars, but the menu on Google is misleading. There are foods listed that are not on the actual menu so heads up. It's Bourbon St so just know it's not fancy. It's loud and not the prettiest, but I will go back.
