This place is a hit or miss....If you are black 7 times out of 10 it will be a miss. Some nights they want their everyone else to black ratio 4-1 and only if you're the black that want to be "white" type! I've witnessed young black men being shunned because of snapbacks but white males let in with dad caps....black females turned around for identical outfits as white counterparts only because it was baggy on the white and actually fit the black female! If you can actually get in the bartenders are decent at most. Depending on the DJ as at any bar it can make or break the night!

Very nice downtown bar. Perfect for mid to late 20's and 30's ages, not many college kids from LSU wander out to city bar. Very nice environment, beautiful waitresses, good drinks and service.

Was good places but one Bar tender ruined the night with smart ass comments, walked away from customer . had another server do her job. We will never be back here because of her Service. Red Stick Mag needs to review this places . poor service cost owners money! This is a young collage crowd but "servers" behind Bar are rude and need to be trained in service . Cost Bar money! Was enjoing the night till rude service. SECURITY was great felt safe and rest of staff was awsome. Mananger was asked to talk to Employee which fliped us off and was rude again. They need to fire that Employee which will cost them money.

The bar itself is cool, the people that go there are horrible. Worst, creepiest, most disgusting crowd I've ever been in. It's worth going if you enjoy being creeped on by dudes and watching people be ratchet (which is pretty entertaining to be honest).

Went out to enjoy my birthday and was dancing upstairs to music having a good time then I got tapped on shoulder and was told that the boss said I had to leave. Asked what exactly I did wrong and was given no answer just that I need to go. I think the place sucks and wouldn't recommended it to anyone. Me and my friend went across the street to 1913 club had a great time till they closed. So my birthday wasn't that bad after all thanks to 1913

Pros: no cover charge, located in a historic building, heat lamps outside, clean bathrooms Cons: overpriced drinks ($12 for a vodka and club soda...), inattentive bartenders (busier with their social lives and cell phones than serving the customers), sub par DJ, all other employees walk around smoking cigarettes

Anyone who is a race other than white please read. When my friends and I waited in line once we got to the front of the line the bouncer stated "you and your friends need to get out of this line " word for word. If you're a race other than white do not spend your hard earned money here. These people are extremely racist. I am very disappointed with the quality of respect I received from the staff of this club, I will never attempt to spend my money here again and neither should you.

The dress code is outrageous, the people there are suck and the drinks are over priced. Can't wear animal print, can't wear comfy clothes, I couldn't wear white heels, can't have ANY tattoos. it's so discriminating lol 9 dollars for a flipping shot of whiskey, are you serious? This place is always packed on the weekends, as in wall to wall people. Very difficult to move around and drink service can be slow depending on the crowd.

Some friends wanted to bring me out for my 50th birthday and I thought "what the heck...why not?" I'm a rocker and I love loud guitars, so I was a bit out of place...but new experiences are cool and I really had a great time...10pm till the place closed. Throwback Friday was very cool...the DJ was most excellent with his mixes and threw in some nice vintage curveballs. I believe his name is Chris and I'm embarrassed that I can't remember his last name because he nailed it. 4 stars is because I found the drink prices to be outrageous. Sorry:(
