The bartender was very rude when we did not order when he wanted us to. He insisted that we buy a drink the second we walked in. We planned on staying for a while and having drinks since we knew the band. We ended up leaving without buying anything because of that bartender.

Ok. Maybe it was just tonight but the crowd was super young (even the bouncer looked like a high schooler, lol) and the music seemed juvenile. I like today's music too.. but when the song lineup has songs asking "where all the alcoholics at?" And "who's here to f%$#?" I feel a little embarrassed to be listening to it lol. Though I admit it's funny to watch young, immature attendees get excited to raise their hands excitedly to those questions. I might try this place again if I saw more people my age or the music changed since the venue itself seems nicely set up.

I wish I had caught the bar tender's name. If he sees this, he will know who I am talking about. I want to say he was middle eastern, and had on a Mt. Hood, Oregon Sweatshirt. He was such a great guy and very very welcoming to the bar. I don't drink alcohol and he was very quick to offer me a number of non alcoholic options. Told me what times to be there for the best entertainment etc. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Went 2 nights in a row! it was so much fun! Music was on point Friday night but Saturday it was lacking just a bit. Didn't like there was a $20 minimum on card charges and there was a wet spot on the dance floor with the AC vent above leaking. Very dangerous for anyone with heels or slippery shoes especially when dancing and/or drinking. Should make it bigger since it was super packed and seemed to be a hot spot.

I went to Chris Owens to see the famous Rooster play who I have enjoyed his music over the years. Before even entering the door with beer in my hand, the skinny male bartender immediately came to the door entrance and was very abrupt and rude "You can not bring that in here" I finished my drink and then proceeded to go in only reason being to see Rooster play. As I was facing the door in my seat and I seen the same scenario unfold at least 4 times and watch potential customers turn away and wander down the street. Except he allowed 2 ladies bring in their drinks and sit at the bar and it was, obvious he knew them but that was RUDE! As music clubs are a dime a dozen on Bourbon St and you are allowed to bring your drink in. COME ON it is BOURBON ST! The drinks at Chris Owens were $8.00 and up including beer, which is too expensive. Be wary!

The music was great! The only downside was how expensive the beers were considering you can get 3 dos xx for $9 at all the other places. Maybe it was because it was all star weekend. But the music and atmosphere was great.

5 stars for the music....Awesome music! 1- for the bar it was horrible...first drinks were pricy but the second round was 1/2 the size and $2.00 more. Go here for the music but nothing more. They made it right after the band talked to them.

Good music, but the dance floor is too small and the worst part of the experience was the venue's lack of volume control. The group I was with and myself left after about two hours and afterwards our hearing was depleted until we woke up the following day. The speakers do not have to be at the max setting.

The music was great for the little time I was in there ,The reason for the one star is it stunk smelled like an old basement and if you are a product of New Orleans why not do a little update of your establishment!yeah yeah I know people will come regardless because it’s in the French Quarter,But I didn’t spend one dime there because it smelled so bad does he even live in New Orleans !

I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom was nasty! I wouldn't have even said anything, but I came here twice during my tip and it was nasty. The bartender was great, music good, place was nice, but that bathroom...

Drinks are pricy, they won't leat you bring any outside drinks (even water) and they won't give you free water. However, the atmosphere is good and it's fun to go dance here, specially on latin nights. The space is a bit tight, but if you don't mind no personal space you'll be fine.

The music is great. The beer is expensive, but it is on Bourbon Street. If you don't like it, you are in the wrong neighborhood. Go there for the music and atmosphere.
