The only reason this gets a 4-star is because it's my favorite place to go at night on Bourbon Street otherwise it would be a 3 star. Bourbon Street is over price go to Fremont Street is where the actual good stuff is

Prices were a little higher than some of the other bars, but it was a pretty cool experience. I just got a bucket of beer and sat in the courtyard. It was a very cool Trio soul group that was playing. Fairly loud music. They're trying to get people out on the Dance Floor. It was a pretty good time.

Andrea was such an awesome bartender! She was more accommodating than anyone I have ever encountered in the service industry. To say she went “above and beyond” is an understatement. We came in town for a concert which got cancelled for hurricane Barry. She took the time to find us another avenue for fun and we cannot thank her enough for the hospitality!! I was blown away by her kindness and genuine interest in our positive experience in New Orleans!!

One of the most popular places on Bourbon Street is Beach on Bourbon. There is a large outdoor patio with multiple bars. The crowds here can get quite large even in the middle of the week. In the evenings there's always a band playing on the largest stage on Bourbon Street. However the large stage equals large prices!

Pretty standard issue bar / dance joint in New Orleans. Pretty cool stage and dance area. The girls coming around with the shots in tubes are pretty lame and those shots don't have any alcohol in them. Just stay with drinks from the bar. Great people watching at this place as most folks are blasted drunk.

Came here Monday night the Wawa band was on they were awesome. I know we are on Bourbon Street but that does not mean the restrooms need to be dirty and smelled horrible. The drinks were okay and this is a big location the staff needs to do a better job and getting people in here once again the band was great.

I love this place. You can dance your face off til Kingdom Come! No smoking on the dance floor, it's not allowed. Anywhere else outside is a go. Tip your bartenders, but look out for the shot girls; they are on a mission to get you drunk and get'cho money.

Honestly I wouldn't be giving this establishment any star if I had the option. I was denied entry upon arrival though my Husband was admitted right in front of me. The man at the door checked my bag and took a look at me and my friend (who is a lesbian and quite obviously so) and he laughed pushed my bag back into my hands and asked us to leave. So we sat outside waiting for my husdand asking why we weren't allowed in without any reasonable explanation. My friend went down the ally towards the back where another security guard was standing, to ask what it is that was preventing us from getting in. Instead my friend was man handled by the guard as he scoffed and mocked her pleas for an answer. When I had pointed out my husband was inside, they went in and removed my husband and pushed him out of the club forcefully and told us we had to go. All the while I was sober and taking care of my husband and my friend who were enjoying themselves while we were here visiting for out anniversary and vacation. Whatever the reason for these security guards behavior was beyond me (But I bet it would be safe to say it had to do with us being LGBT) and I am not going to recommend this place to anyone I know who plans to come visit New Orleans. So much for the openness and kindness of this city, I guess the pride flags everywhere are just for show.

The worst experience I have had in New Orleans. I went there to grab a beer and as usual the "shot girls" came asking if I wanted shots, (which are sugar water by the way). I turned every one of them down, one of them came back and was being very insistent that I take a shot. I told her no, not once not twice but five times then she put the end of them in her mouth as I was saying no and grabs me and forcibly puts them down my throat until I swollowed. Then she trys to make it seem like that was a normal non creepy thing to do then looks at me and says "you owe me money" I think it's a tip and tried to give her a few dollars and she tells me it's $24. I told her that it was unethical as she forcibly shoved them in my mouth while I was saying no and she calls the bouncer over who told me I pay or they get the cops. I tried to explain the situation and that she literally forced me to take it but no. Long story short: DO NOT GO HERE unless you like to be inappropriately toched, force fed, and scammed.

Fun... but watch yourself. It's one of those... pull you in off the street and go for the wallets as quick as possible... places. It can be fun... but you have to fight off the endless 'shot girls' that are trying to force shots on you with their lips on one side... and yours on the other... with signs on their back that say $2 shots... followed by $20 bills after they push you into the shot. The room can get crazy and can be fun... just be ready and alert for what you get.

Be forewarned, the staff here will force drinks upon you, assault, and harass you. The shot girl forced shots upon my friends and I, even after we said no means no. Attempted to leave after giving the shot girl money for the forced shots, she then lied to the bouncer and claimed we did not pay and owed much more than the shots we worth. The bouncer grabbed me by the arm and yanked me back into the club. Shot girl got in my face yelled and threatened physical violence against me, while making up different amounts of what I owed her. Had to give her more money just to get out of the situation and to avoid being further assaulted and harassed. What they do here is wrong and illegal, avoid this bar at all costs.

We were just visiting and enjoying Bourbon street when we got scammed by Beach On Bourbon. They probably saw we were from another country, got advantage of it and asked us 32$ for 4 shots. Worst experience on Bourbon Str. Just scammers in this establishment. In addition, they wrote down the information from my driving license. Don’t know what to think about that. Avoid!!!!!!

This is where you go to have fun. The crowd changes though. Some times it's great for grown folks, and other times for 25 year olds. It depends on what time you go, the event, and day. We went twice in 3 days.

Beach on Bourbon was an awesome time. Drinks were priced at what seems to be the going rate for Bourbon St. The dance floor was lively and active with awesome music and colorful lights. Plus, gotta give props to that awesome fountain with the fire in the center. Considering I was relatively tipsy, that fountain had me mesmerized for a moment or two. 10/10 woild Beach on Bourbon again.

The wait staff tricks you into doing shots by putting them in their mouths and then pouring them in yours without disclosing the price and then has you pay. The Wah Wah Band was entertaining and the open atmosphere with multiple bars was nice.

Honestly the band and the dj were amazing. The cleanliness of this place was great, BUT the shot girls will force you to take shots. After saying no three times already they still won’t leave. My friend and I had to take two shots each and that was already $16. Please beware of them because they will pressure you into taking shots.
