I'm baffled, I brought my European friends to Kentucky out to the nightlife of Lexington, and of all bars, the Stagger Inn is the only one that they would not allow in "according to ABC laws". They stated that they needed and "an American issued ID". This is crazy. We have went into the majority of bars here in the city and the Stagger inn is the only one that you cannot get into. DO NOT VISIT THIS BAR. this is completely discriminatory against anyone who is not American. Craziness. i will tell everyone to not visit this place. Stay away from the Stagger inn.

$12 whiskey w/water was 1/2 water, 1/2 ice, and a fraction of a percent bourbon. I did not order Ice, I would have thought whiskey would be a standard drink plus a splash of water. $12. No thank you, especially when there are plenty of great locals nearby.

I went to Stagger Inn after a Kentucky game this past winter. My girlfriend is an alum and we went for one drink at one of her favorite bars. Service and drinks were fine. We had a bill of about 10-15 bucks total. No problems. A few weeks later I notice that I've been charged 150 dollars from Stagger Inn. I contact the restaurant via email, they responded at first but have since refused to present to me any form of receipt or cooperate at all. Someone from the restaurant either tipped themselves 140 ish dollars or mixed my tab with someone else's. Regardless, the bar stole almost 150 dollars from me and has refused to do anything to make it right. Awful people who dont deserve your money- and might steal it if they get a chance. Shame on the managers and ownership.

Bartender was absolutely awful. She looked at me in the eye several times and then proceeded to serve other people who had walked up after me. Pitiful service

If I could give them zero stars, I would. My roommates brother is in town from another country and the bouncer denies him entry because he doesnt have an American ID. He has a valid Columbian ID and a picture copy of his passport on his phone and the bouncer says “we only accept United States ID here.” He says “its a rule here” and I said “you should talk to your manager about that rule” and he says “Yeah I probably wont” I then say “that rule is stupid because people like my roommate who are on a student visa cannot get a United States License” which then he replys by saying “ youre stupid” (which really just shows his lack of intellect). Ignorant employees with horrible customer service. Oh and the bouncer was a bigger guy with a tan carhart jacket and black beanie.

Great atmosphere. Not anywhere to sit at night though, which isn't really a negative just an observation. The live bands are usually really good and provide for a nice change from the typical Lexington bar.

Formally a bar called Redmans now owned by the same owner of Two keys this is a college country bar that you walk downstairs into. Nothing to great other then a band or DJ and college kids drinking bourbon and cokes and vodka red bulls. Good if your 21-24 otherwise I would stay clear.

Nice atmosphere, pool table, stage for live music, and good location. Drinks are overly expensive but everything else is ok
