My son and I came in after some bad news to relax and de stress Red, turned our frowns upside down. It was great to relax and play games and when we returned down stairs to eat we were greeted by Red again, one of the most positive and fun people I have ever met. We were already having a great time but he and his personality put the night over the top. Keep being you Red don't ever change!!!!

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Louisville this past weekend! We had such wonderful service everywhere except for this place! We sat for 20 minutes nobody ever took our drink order, my husband finally walked up to the bar! About 10 minutes later a guy finally walks up to us, my husband tells him we’d like to order food! He points to my husbands drink and says “who is your server?” I spoke up and said he walked up to the bar and got that drink! The guy stares at me and finally says “okay what do you guys want?” My husband said forget it and we went to hard rock where we got wonderful service! If we ever make the trip back to Louisville we will not go back to sports and social club! Terrible!!

I'm not surprised by their low rating. Today is the first day of Louisville Burger Week and I went here for dinner at 8pm on a Monday and they weren't busy at all. I was by myself so I sat at the bar. They don't have a beer list (which is something they should definitely invest in) and when asked, the bartender said them so quickly, she clearly didn't care if I heard them or not. When the beer was brought to me, I began telling her that I wanted and a random food runner by the name of Scotty literally yelled at me that I couldn't order food right now. She said that the "kitchen was backed up" and that "I need to wait 10 mins before I ordered" I was confused and completely silent as I did not deserve that whatsoever. I later spoke to the manager, Natalie, and while she did thank me for telling her, I wish she would have offered some type of reimbursement as the random food runner literally yelled at me. I wouldn't be surprised if this place shut down before 2020.

Maybe we just hit them on an unusually busy night, but we waited an hour for our food before deciding to leave without it. The manager did give us all a round of shots though, comped our couple of apps, and apologized profusely. He was very nice and the only reason I gave them more than one star.

The food was okay but the service left a lot to be desired. No one knew what was going on. We were told they were out of chicken and that we had to reorder, then the chicken showed up... Mass confusion, slow service.

We bought tickets to the Cody Johnson concert VIP patio SEATS when we got there they only had 5 tables put on a very small patio with about 12 chairs we showed up at about 6:30 show starts at 8 so when it gets close to time for the show they come out and take all the chairs away and say they over booked the patio so everyone will have to stand so we were just as crowded as the people that only paid $15 for tickets and we was also supposed to have unlimited free appetizers and drinks the unlimited appetizers was potato chips and a vegetable tray just completely waisted our money and was not satisfied in the least do not recommend over paying for these tickets just pay the base entry fee same experience as what we paid for $100

Bartender was yelling at all of the customers, very vulgar, rude as all get out and cleared the bar because of her personality alone. She was complaining about other customers in front of everyone and was screaming that she was going to kick everyone out of fourth street so she could go home. Don’t go here if you’re looking for a pleasant time....

Neither the drink was good nor the server. Overall had a bad experience. First the person got the drink and spilled some of it leaving the glass without any salt on the Rim. Then he left and never returned, we kept on waiting for the appetizer. Finally I had to get up and ask for the cheque as no one was coming with the cheque and post that the appetizer arrived along with the cheque. It was not at all a good experience.

Awful service. Subpar food. And after I talked to the manager about which game I wanted on the screen, it changed two more times to another game (Kentucky - who cares?). Also, the food took more than an hour. For a burger? And the server didn't know anything about the menu or drink offerings.

Got a voucher from cake dive for value of 540 dolllars for food, bowling and drinks for my bachelorette party. The lady in charge never informed no one of this, for an hour we had to wait around to find out what we suppose to be doing. The place was suppose to be open until 4 am, the bowling lanes closed at 1130. We was hungry and tell them we would like food they say their kitchen is closed. On our tab for only used 100 dollars when we had 300 just cant believe what bad service we recieved all around

We didn’t have a great experience but I am rating 5 stars because our server is a champ. The sad part about this place is that the inside is super cool and it seems like a really great place to watch sports, unfortunately, like everyone else who has rated here, the service was really slow and the food came out cold. I think that most people rating here are misplacing the blame though. I think the management is to blame, not the servers. We came to Louisville for bourbon and beyond and learned that they let a bunch of their staff off for the festival, leaving only a handful of people to work this MASSIVE restaurant. Our server was bartending AND had over a dozen tables for which she had to run food and make drinks. I don’t blame the servers/bartenders, I think thy management needs to hire more people or be tougher on who gets time off when. Don’t let a bunch of people off work when you know you have football all weekend with thousands of people coming to town for a festival. Just a reminder that sometimes bad service is not the servers fault so always tip them well!

We walked in and we're immediately seated, so far so good. Our waitress appeared shortly after we were seated and took our drink order and brought, a tea and lemonade to start. She brought them out promptly then after another minute on deciding on what we would like to eat we ordered our food. About 15 minutes into waiting on our meal our waitress came by to check on us where I ordered a beer. She brings it out and about 5 more minutes pass. Our waitress comes by again and my girlfriend asked her for a water. After bringing her the water, our waitress disappeared for a solid 30 minutes. We never received our food, nor did she return to our table. Another table directly next to ours that had been seated roughly 45 minutes after us received their appetizers shortly after ordering their food, while she had been there for nearly an hour with absolutely no sign of ours. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone if you're expecting to actually eat anytime soon.

Left before even being served! We walked in at lunch time on a Saturday waited 5 minutes before being seated. After that we waited at our table and a server never showed up so we left. On the way out the hostess and another employee were just chatting outside the front door. Disappointing to say the least. Plenty of better choices near by. We went right across the street to Guys and got great service!

The service at this establishment was absolutely terrible and a "manager" standing nearby did not seem to care about the subpar experience we were having. This is only worth about half a star but 1 is the minimum right?! We waited on drink refills forever and after our food got dropped off, a lot of the orders were wrong, but our server did not stop back by our table for another 30 minutes! Guess I should have checked out the reviews first as they are awful on Yelp as well. PLEASE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

This is the legit worst place i been. I have been sitting for an hour. Just ordered a burger. Everyone's food came before mine. And I was here 30 minutes before. I am still sitting here waiting. Asked the manager to change the channel so I can watch the philla vs Toronto game. Manager never showed up. Still have not changed the channel that say stuff going on but a customer who been sitting for an hour does not have to wait. For people who is just coming in. Also, I have been sitting so long the bartender give me a free drink because she felt bad. This is very pitiful for leadership who work here. I never in my life waited so long for food at a restaurant. And a manager does a no call to a guest of the astonishment. I will never come back. I have a job that kicks my butt. So i expect things to run smoothly. Ps. The manager does not need his job when a customer ask to speak to a manager and he wont show. All business run that way. I talked to jon the manager now. And he told me that he was cooking. But i feel like you downtown louisville. Do not think what happen last year will be the same. Call the local hotel by you so you can know if more people are in town. This is derby week in ky. Yes it can be busy any moment think about that.

Had my bachelorette party there last night and was treated like a queen! It was sooo much fun! Our server was amazing and the service from her and the management was just fantastic! Would definitely recommend this place for parties. Definitely got the VIP treatment!! Cant wait to go back!

We were seated promptly but it went downhill after that. It was nearly 20 minutes before a waitress came by to take our order. A little over an hour later, our order of a cheeseburger plate, wings and artichoke cheese dip appetizer came out. The food was not completely cold, it still had some warmth and it was good tasting but the wait was awful. The waitress also failed to stop our table during that hour we waited. Actually, the service was horrible and is main reason for the one star. The prices were a bit steep as well. Will not be coming back to this place until I hear better things about it.

I couldnt agree more with the other negative reviews. I was in town with 3 of my friends and we stopped here for dinner. First, the place was dead, yet we were still charged a $5 cover. Once we were sat, it took nearly 15 minutes for a waiter to come get our drink order. One of the drinks we ordered was wrong. The food took forever to come and wasn't even delivered by our waiter. He never came back to check on us whatsoever. One of the girls in my group didn't even receive the correct meal and sat there waiting for SOMEONE, ANYONE to come by. By the time he finally came back, the rest of us had all finished our meals and had been empty on drinks for quite a while. We then waited another 20 minutes for them to bring our friend her correct order. When the bills came, they hadn't even made any attempt to rectify my friends inconvenience. The waiter kept making excuses. This place has the worst customer service and I would never go here again!!!!

Completely unimpressed. This is not the first time where I've had to miss lunch after going to this restaurant. They completely messed up everyone's order at the table and the lady was very rude about the issue. At first she did not even try and correct her mistake. After an hour and a half we finally got our food and had to eat and run back to work.

Seated for almost 10 minutes; never approached (and even an "I'll be right with you guys" will settle me well enough for another 10). 9 PM on a Sunday. Not busy. I'm not a picky dude. My review history should make it pretty clear that I'm not hard to please, but no approach makes it hard to review the food and drink selection. We're loyal diners to the places that treat us well. No approach means no return. The irony of being told to have a 'good night' on the exit path really drove this one-star home. Their location obviously keeps them alive. It certainly isn't the service.

Oh my goodness! The hamburger week special hamburger is fantastic! The bacon sause is to die for and the meat was juicy. Best I have had in a looong time. Will definitely have it again. We didnt try it but I've heard the bowling is a little expensive but might be worth it for the ambiance.

Might possibly be the poorest managed place in Louisville. Bartenders spend 70% of their time talking to their friends or walking to the kitchen at a snails pace. I just watched one talk to her boyfriend for 12 minutes before she even turned to look at the bar only to find three separate parties waiting for service. Not a manager to be seen anywhere, which probably explains the bad service. In a location that has a plethora of bars this one should be closed just on principle. Don't bother!!!! .... Addendum since this post, I got a look at the area under the bar. Do NOT do this. I'm off to my hotel for a shower...

My friends and I walked in and were acknowledged by the ‘part owner.’ He stated the kitchen was closed but if we wanted to get pizza next door and bring it back then that would be fine. We did just that. Upon returning, we sat in a booth and tried to get the server’s attention. She refused to acknowledge us so I went to the bar to try and order a drink. After standing there for 5 minutes and being ignored I asked the ‘part owner’ what it takes to get a beer. He said servers were all cut - when they clearly weren’t, and that we’d have to go to the bar and order ourselves. My friend then went to the bar and ordered 4 waters instead of spending anymore money. This place has terrible customer service and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The pizza next door is delicious.

Took about 20 minutes to get a server. The host ended up getting us drunks. The host was very nice and helpful. The server took our order, food come out about 30 min later. Needed refills and never got them. Had to ask someone else to get the server to get our check. The restaurant was near empty. Service was just terrible.

Hostess had a bad attitude didn't even speak to us we had to ask her for a table. We said we didn't want outside she looked around her said " well there's nothing in here" and being nice we decided to try outside. She walked passed us without saying a word and we followed her barley keeping up with her and she threw the menu on the tables without saying a word and took off. We never saw a server. We waited twenty minutes then went across the street to The Burbob Raw, were we we're greatest with a smile and immediate seating inside. Don't waste your time or money and the Sports and Social Club. I wouldn't even give it a one star.

We came here to watch the second Final Four basketball game. We were greeted promptly and got our first round of drinks in a reasonable amount of time. However, it all went downhill after that. Our waitress Amber was taking multiple shots/sips of drinks with a group of customers at the bowling alley the entire few hours we were there. You could tell she was a slight buzzed and it showed as tables in her section were getting neglected and orders messed up. I used to wait tables so I was shocked that this type of behavior was happening. If you want to go and enjoy some drinks with good service, there are plenty of other establishments in downtown Lousiville you should check out before coming here.

Toola bit for our drinks. The waiter never stopped by again until our food came out 25 minutes later. He just dropped off the food and left. We didn't see him again until the food was gone. He then asked if we wanted anything else. More drinks would have been nice 30 minutes ago. The place was pretty dead, so I had no sympathy for this terrible service. Don't waste your time here.

Visiting Louisville, from out of state for the Ironman. We were seated pretty quickly, however, the service from there was very slow and disappointing. When our order did arrive, it was incorrect, no appetizer, and an extra salad. Although, the waitress did correct it, we were not offered any compensation as I would expect with a long wait and incorrect order. Our waitress that took our order seemed friendly, however the waitress that brought out the food, not so much. The food is okay, basically, upscale fast food, was not impressed.

Good food and good service during the Wednesday evening ESPN Radio show. Go Louisville. Second visit and service is still great. Food is on par for sports bar. Good stop for Fourth Street Live. Definitely a repeat. Highly recommended.

We had a reunion in the Eagle room. Great service from the bartender and other staff! Service was great for both drinks and food. The room is nice and was a good size for our group- a variety of chairs and tables and even comfy couches and big screen TV’s.

My friend and I came to eat and watch the NBA tournament on Monday nite couple weeks ago. The place was busy which we expected but was surprised by the lack of management. Our server got our order wrong so we asked to see the manager. After some time a man named Shaun came to our table. He clearly smelled of alcohol..... Mumbled some apology and disappeared. I desperately wanted a Sprite but our server was also MIA. Finally the bus boy yelled to one of the two bartenders for the Sprite and i got it right away. The bus boy and two bartenders ( guy and girl) seemed to be the only ones to care about service. Granted my friend and I don't drink alcohol yet but we wanted to get out of the dorm and enjoy the game in a fun atmosphere. Our food order was never corrected. The manager never came back, which honestly we were glad considering his condition.... But terrible first experience . We won't be back.

I got the avocado jalapeno grilled chicken sandwich. It had neither jalapeno nor avocado on the sandwich somehow. The chicken was rubbery and cold with no flavor. The fries were very good but not enough to make up for the terrible sandwich. The waiter was slow and only showed up a few times. We went there for the NCAA tournament games and they decided to play extremely loud club music instead of the game commentary through much of the games even though Louisville, KY has one of the largest fan bases of college basketball and the sweet sixteen was at the yum center the day before. Not to mention it is a SPORTS BAR and not a dance club. Nobody was dancing! Loved the upstairs area with cornhole and other games but might not be back because of the other bad experiences. I might sound whiny but I'm pretty level headed and forgiving of most minor issues at restaurants and bars. I hope it was only a rare occurrence.

Fries taste like they were under a heat lamp for an hour. Chicken tenders taste like they went strait from the freezer to the fryer. Burger wasn't good. Diet coke was watered down. The only thing this place have going for it is the atmosphere and the big beers.

Got here at 6:15 pm and was seated promptly for a party of 2. Sat for another 20 minutes and was not even acknowledged by ‘Amber’ who was supposedly our waitress, yet sat directly in front of the bar and checkout station. This is after we asked a waitress passing by if we were going to get acknowledged. She told me Amber had this section and pointed to a young lady. That young lady she pointed to never came. I don’t think I have ever been seated and not greeted or not had drink orders taken in 20 minutes. Got up and left. Terrible way to do business. I went across to Guy’s and tipped 30 dollars after my meal. Big thumbs down for Sports and Social Club

The aesthetic of the place is really cool but the bowling sucks. The lanes aren’t oiled, the balls arent polished, the lanes nothing about the lanes works, and the machine at the end of the lane screams the whole time. God it was so hot in there too.

This is the go-to place for friends and family excellent place to go from The nightlife on the weekends for perfect for guys or girls night out 4 for a couple's retreat for a date. Although the prices can be a little expensive they offer a full bar as well as full-service kitchen. The entire area is wrapped with TVs. The bowling is also a great experience.

I had the worst attention ever, my server was Jordan and he tried all my friends and me like if we weren’t person. And the only reason is because we are Latin. He even brought us the bill without us asking for it, it looks like if he wants us living the place, but sorry JORDAN we are leaving when we want, because we are paying for it.

This place is horrible. When the employees are wearing stocking caps and jackets it'll tell you its cold in here. Heat is an issue. Service is horribly slow with inattentive staff and the place was almost emtpy. Maybe 5 tables and some NFL Watch Party behind a curtain that looked like a sausage fest. Cheese steak was burnt and inedible. Cold wings, bland pizza and sliders. Wrong orders and the list goes on. The patio under the heaters was more warm than inside. No wonder this place is 2.4 stars. Should have looked before coming in. Stay away.....

We did not eat here but played an hour of bowling, which was fun, but the system repeatedly messed up and we had to search for a member of staff to fix it while the time we had paid for slipped away. Just left on 5/8/19 around 4:25pm. Came in for happy hour and bowling. Waited to be seated, when we were seated no one came to our table to great us or take orders. I went to the bar to get a drink menu, was told they dont have one. Several waitress looked at our table and walked by, non of them acknowledge us. Left after we had waited nearly 20mins. As we walked out no one attempted to see why were leaving, they only stared from back by the kitchen. Not a great start to our Louisville trip.
