Had a great time stopping through here! Drink prices were super reasonable and all the staff were friendly. Boogie G and the Titanics were in that night and they're super funky! Definitely a great spot and a great band to enjoy on a night out.

The place is dimly lit, a few sceens play sports and has a 360 bar. Their drinks are not weak at all. The food is well portioned and not bad. Perfect place to just hang for a bit and figure out where to go next. There was live music the Saturday I went; not sure how often they have someone preforming.

Food was good and reasonably priced for a night out. Service was super slow waitress had to come back to make sure she got the order right the first time....there was only two of us and we had no substitutions except add cheese. Then we sat for long periods of time with empty water glasses. So it was best to sip our beer or water slowly. It was very dim and too dim when the sun went down. But the overall experience was ok.

The bartender dressed in a skimpy outfit dropped the f-bomb many times during our meal. Our waitress who didn't introduce herself was extremely rude and probably has something against smiling. The only thing good about this place was the grilled cheese. Sadly this place has potential but the staff needs to straighten up a bit.

Enjoy eating here especially because it is in the lower end of pricing for downtown restaurants. Hemingway grilled cheese is tastyand their oysters on the half shell always taste. Well run establishment. Be back often.

The decor looks great. The atmosphere is wonderful. I did not try the food so I can’t rate it. The stage for the bands is kinda small. The sound guy was really good but had to work with crappy gear. Some of the horns on the speakers were busted especially the monitors for the musicians were really bad. All in all I have it a mid level three for the pros matched the cons.

Ok we loved it here! It is what you make it. Have a little tequila, start singing out loud, make friends with you bar tender and other people around you. Alex was super entertaining and other staff was really nice and put up with us even though we were being obnoxious. Great place for an easy drink and live music.

Whenever I'm in Lexington on business, I make a point of stopping at Parlay Social for a cold brew & a great pork barbecue plate. Sadly they've changed the staff & even more importantly, the barbecue. I was very disappointed last week when I couldn't get waited on even though there were only two other people in Parlay. And when I ordered my standard barbecued sandwich it was one big sloppy mess: One sandwich with a bit of slaw & pickles & swimming in a commercial yellow BBQ sauce that I didn't ask for. And it was all in a paper container so that the napkin at the bottom of the container & the sandwich became one and I was pulling paper out of my mouth… Please revise your recipe & return to the great BBQ plate I remember you for.

I usually to love this place but the last time I went there I asked a tall bartender how could I requested a song and he said I should tip the band in order to do so!! Unprofessional and impolite!!! Staff shouldn't act this way! I understand that and I did tip the band because I liked not because your bartender told me to!!

I watched the UK here Thursday evening with two good friends while attending Thursday Night Live. The food was great and the staff was attentive (and a lot of fun). Will definitely go back when there is a good dance band.

Don't come here if you are hoping to eat. They have parsed down their menu to a burger, a chicken sandwich, a pork sandwich and chicken fingers. Food is on par with any fast-food restaurant in town. Drinks are still as pricey as ever.

Dear loyal Parlay Social patrons, On 12/3/16, I was enjoying a glass of wine with a colleague at this establishment when another guest repeatedly racially and sexually harassed me. I asked for help from the bar staff numerous times, and even though they were not busy and witnessed what was going on, they did not try to protect me. We felt unsafe, called for a car, stepped outside to wait for it, when that guest followed me outside, threw a pack of cigarettes at my head and smacked the back of my head, all while spewing hateful remarks. His physical assault may not have physically injured me, but was clearly his last attempt to bully, belittle and demoralize me. I have filed a police report and a detective is on the case, classifying it as a hate crime. I contacted the owner regarding this matter, offering my assistance in training his staff to better handle these situations with organizations such as the "Green Dot", but I received only a short two sentence response, with promises of an update, and no follow through. After attempting to post the review on Facebook, they blocked me and anyone trying to shed light on this situation. Bob has had my phone number, email, and work address for a month and has failed to make a public statement or declare how he will proactively prevent violence towards women (and of color) in his business. Please keep this information in mind if you choose to support this establishment. Anyone with information regarding the suspect in my case can contact the PD directly or me for the case number as a reference. Thank you for reading and have a safe, happy new year.

Highly recommend Parlay Social After leaving what was supposed to be the best bourbon bar in the area and irritated with horrible service and way overpriced shots, we discovered Parlay. Was surprised to see all the bourbons we were looking for and the bartender instantly empathized with how bad the other place we just left was. Prices were very fair at Parlay and staff was attentive. Pretty sure every person working there checked on us multiple times and we never had to wait to get someone's attention. Bartender (wish I could recall his name) browses /r/bourbon subreddit daily and really knew the products well.

It's a bit country with the music but the bartenders are super friendly & very nice, the White Russian I had was delicious (even for $12 a glass) & even though they're renovating the kitchen currently (Feb. 22, 2018) & aren't selling food I'm sure that it would be just as good as their drinks
