Staciy is the best bartender I have met in Des Moines. I have been to a ton of bars and never met someone so personable and out going as her. I have asked to speak to the manager a couple times so I can tell her how good of work she does and she never seems to be here. However I have met every bartender at the bar and it seems like they are all more dedicated than management seems to be. If it was not for Staciy, Jake, and Corbin I would not come into this bar near as frequently as I do.

The service is terrible, there was literally two other people in the bar when we walked in & it took 3 rounds of us going to the bar before the waitress (if that's what you want to call her) came to our table. The bartenders seemed like a couple of frat bros that were only interested in watching the game & cheering for their fantasy team. No beer on tap only bottled beer. But at least it was cold. But that's not enough to make me go back.

Definitely a fun place to be! First time here and the bartenders were great! A nice mix of old and new country music! And apparently they have line dancing lessons on Thursdays! Definitely going back soon!

Always fun. Even on a busy night I like that the bartenders still try to make short conversation instead of just handing out a drink and taking money like some of the other bars in the area. If only the dance floor were bigger!

I love the atmosphere. I hate how the owners will kick you out of your seat, as a paying customer, because they own it. That to me is terrible customer service. And they were completely rude as well.

You know what’s not ok? When I get told by someone I love that they went to Shotgun Betty’s and the number on the tip line when they closed their tab was hard to read and a bartender decides to just tip themselves $20 which would be over a 20% tip?!!!! That is absolutely not ok and messed up. There is no law saying you must get a tip and if you can’t read it you get nothing for the tip or the lower number if you are debating between two numbers.

Stopped in here with my husband and our friends for a couple mid afternoon drinks and we all had a good time. The bartender was attentive and very friendly. The bathroom was clean. Good music playing. Definitely plan to stop in again sometime.

If you like country then this is your place, a little small for the amount of people or attracts but very upbeat and fun. Plenty of dance floor space.

Typical college/country bar. Music is too loud to hear the bartenders or for them to hear you. Patrons are wasted by the time they get there or very quickly into their visit. The dance floor is a postage stamp and the floor is a rustic wood looking product that is better for first pumping than country line dancing. That being said, the staff seems friendly, bar service is quick and they play country hits. It seems like a fun place for groups or for people watching. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bar seems clean.

I love a good country bar, but we went to dance country and found a dance floor full of people standing. When we tried to dance two step we were asked to leave the dance floor by a staff member because we were “taking up too much room”. I was disappointed that the people not dancing got to stay on the dance floor and the people that were actually dancing were asked to not to.
