I rate this as my personal top 3 places to visit in Downtown Des Moines. I love that if you want to take a break from dancing you can just slide the headphones off and not have to shout a conversation. It's such a fun concept, especially when you get bored of repeated sports and country bars as your only option in this section of downtown! My suggestions to make it even better would be to add some ceiling fans or a large box fan in the warmer seasons. I had to stop a little sooner than I would have liked because we were getting way too sweaty. As a reminder: -You will need to surrender your ID to get headphones -- this is to prevent headphone theft. Do not put your headphones down or leave them unattended!

Super fun for groups, $5 for headphones, no limits on time, live DJs (that were all pretty decent the night I went). Great place to dance the night away, although it does get quite warm in there with everyone dancing.

I struggle giving this 1 star. The staff was so rude. They charge a cover and don’t say that it costs more to get the headphones which is the entire draw of the bar. Poor service and false advertisement. Do not go here. It’s sad that something so promising and so fun could be so tainted based on the ridiculous charges that they give to customers.

Actually pleasantly surprised with this place! It was clean and the music channels were great. Kinda bummed about paying for the headphones- luckily we didn’t have to pay a cover the night we went, but I read from other reviews that that is common. I like that if you just want to escape the loudness you can literally just take your headphones off.

I love this place. Floor is soaking wet with everyone’s drinks (so wear responsible shoes) but I see it as an indication of good music

The staff is extremely rude and the DJ's are terrible. They have terrible accountability of people's ID's, which is required to rent their headphones for $5. Save your money and go anywhere else.

If you want to listen to older music this is the place to go. Barley played Hip-hop and its three different stations and one is supposed to be hip-hop.

Oofta, Not a fa! Interesting concept, and a decent price. I really disliked that our group was never on the same page and everyone kept switching to find a "groove". Also it's difficult to have a conversation when everyone has their headphones on. Unless you don't mind taking them off and hearing everyone around sing... Not recommended. I also had the issue that the headphones we're too big, so I ended up hearing people song if I wanted to or not.

Not really into gimmicky bars but I freaking love this place. Highly recommend trying it out - DJs do a great job and the music variety is great. Wish Omaha would get a silent disco :/
