You know that we don't usually stop to place evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Night Club corresponds to the category of Live music venue.
Undoubtedly the best venue in Indy. Just don't park in the garage across the street unless you want to sit in your car for two hours after the show
I love this place. New management seems to be turning tge place around.
My first time at the Vogue. Had a great view of the stage from upstairs. Waitress checked in with us frequently. Staff seemed friendly and attentive. Pretty clean as well. I am looking forward to attending more shows at this venue.
Great venue. Great variety of music, live and dj
Great venue. Affordable, good value super bands to see up close.
Nice size and attractive music venue
Great venue, but the drinks are pricey, so pre-party across the street!
Excellent venue! The staff are friendly, beers a decent price, and the acoustics are on point!
Funn party place . The mixed drinks need to be stronger.
The Vogue is a great venue, just have an issue with some of the crowd that are disruptive and disrespectful to the musicians and people around them some times....but that comes with being in Broad Ripple, I guess.
Went there for a concert tonight. Found one seat in balcony so I stood behind my date. All night long the 2 women between us and the stage stood up, danced around, stumbled, waved glasses and a champagne bottle over the balcony, and was generally obnoxious. Other people near us were complaining how these women obstructed everyone's view. The staff was advised the women were holding drinks out over the crowd below and someone came up to talk to them. The woman caused further problems with us and security, so we missed the end of the concert because an off-duty employee was drunk, obnoxious, and a liar. After the concert I contacted the manager. I told my story and the manager got back to me in a few days. He gave me a refund, offered tickets to a future show and told me the disruptive employee was fired. I appreciate management correcting the problem, just wish the show hadn't been ruined.
This (Melvins) was only my second show at the Vogue, which surprises me, as a huge music buff. But this is no doubt one of my new favorite venues, and I can guarantee that I'll be back for more facemelting heaviness very soon.
Great venue to watch concerts
One of my favorite venues for live music.
Awesome! Like to have drinks there. Descreet place for people that want to fly under the radar. Great for people watching and not having anoying guys hit on you. The bartender is great! He knows my drink before I order it. He is fast and quick. I dont like to wait 5 min for my drink. This place is perfect. The young men are fantastic!
Always a great Venue. Not too big, not too small, sold out frequently.
This place is great. The music was awesome, and the general vibe was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The whole experience was definitely good.
Beautiful place, definetely will come back!!!
Great nostalgic music venue. Big-name bands regularly play here. No seating, however so get there EARLY to get a good standing spot near the stage.
Cool venue for bands in a nice older part of Indianapolis.
Really cool venue with friendly bartenders. You really should get a recycling bin, though. All those cans going in the trash was killing me (and our planet).
The experience is much better than those of years gone by that made us avoid shows there. Arriving early is crucial if you want to grab a table and seat. Table service was good considering how many tables they worked and how many orders were being made. Clean bathrooms. Good door staff. All the staff were pleasant, which is always appreciated.
I love the smaller venue where I can get up close and personal with the band!
Is this place ever going to get caught stealing customers money!! please someone do something!
Nasty place that has done nothing but gone downhill over the years. Very ghetto!!!!
Very intimate setting for John Waite. Great show.
Awesome place!! If you are in a wheelchair and think you can't enjoy a night out at The Vogue, rethink that. They treated me as royalty making certain that I was comfortable and could see everything. I sincerely appreciate their kindness which was above and beyond!
The Vogue, it's an Indianapolis music venue staple. With that said, it's a little long in the tooth. The building and interior itself is pretty run down and drink selection is just ok. The issue that I have noticed recently is the lack of booking good musical talent here. It seems like this has turned into a cover band Mecca and original music is few and far between. Sound engineering and quality here is OK, but as a general practice unnecessarily cranked. If they would drop the volume a bit, more clarity would occur. I've seen multiple instances of bands struggling with the monitor mix on stage and that impacts the show...most recently Kurt Vile. All in all, it's ok if you have to see a group that is passing through that you love, but it's not too tier like some others.
Long line not much seating expensive
Absolutely love this place great acoustics friendly staff love the area good food close by... we went and saw Gwar there.. had a blast
Seeing Mystikal was fantastic, cool place to see a show, real close to the stage also
Some pretty good names come through here. Could stand to turn the decibles down so I don't have to read lips that are yelling at me.
I have been to several shows here. Its a pretty cool venue. Worth checking out.
Great venue. If you want a seat. Get there early. Most oft the concert viewing area is a mosh pit/dance floor. The wait staff was exceptional. As long as you have money, you won't go without a drink here. This is an old theater turned bar/dance hall/music venue. Very nice in an eclectic way. There is a parking lot behind the theater for $5 and lots of dining options nearby.
Great place to go for a show, nice intimate atmosphere. Can get right up to the stage easily. Coat check 4$, accepts cards! Friendly staff and patrons. One beer was 7$ so maybe pregame if trying to save some money. Easy parking, in back or across the street. I parked in the garage, 5$ for 3 hours. Would def go again
Saw Thunderstruck.
Great place to see live music in a historic theater building. The acoustics are great and the tiered floor gives excellent sight lines. If you arrive when the doors open there is limited seating on the balconies and a few tables in the sides.
This is a great music venue. I have been to many concerts here and there is not really a bad view in the whole place. Lines can be long and slow to get in so arrive later to avoid the line unless you think you need to be right in front of the stage. Also, I wish they had a better drink selection. I am bored by Sun King beer.
Very nice venue. Clean and drama free. Very nice sound system and great lighting. This was my first experience with The Vogue, being from Cincinnati, but definitely worth the drive. A lot better than Boagarts in Cincinnati. Will definitely be making the drive again for a show very soon. Excellent service.
Great place with a long history in the Ripple. Love the balcony area where you can watch the crowds below and the stage!
I saw a great show(St. Paul and the Broken Bones) here last night and it was a lot of fun. The Vogue has a nice layout and I was surprised and delighted that our Wee Mac beers we're as cheap as they were. I was expecting to drop at least $20 for the two beers. We stood off to one side of the stage and the back doors were up and we welcomed the breeze that came in. It was a great first time at The Vogue and look forward to future shows and events here.
Went an seen the MJ interpreter. Very fun. Small area if you get the VIP. Dont think it was worth the money to be smashed in with people. We spent most the time on the floor. Also bummed they stopped serving drinks at like 10 or 1030
Fun place, good people watching, tasty cocktails. Conveniently located near 30th and University, so after grabbing a great dinner in that area you can just walk a block or two east to grab a drink here. The owner's named Steve and he's a great guy. Good times.
Not sure who books the gigs but dont let a performer come on for a 25min medley of songs then walk off stage. Awful
Visited the Vogue and heard John Waite. Excellent concert and venue.
Great place to see live bands. Not a bad view in the house you can see the stage from any where.
I finally got to see Atmosphere live. Slug and Ant killed it. Absolutely bonkers show. And the venue was filled to the rafters. The Vogue is an great venue.
Located near loads of bars and restaurants in Broad Ripple. I found some very nice seats, but unless you call ahead and reserve seating there are few with sightlines available. Servers handle the seated areas amazingly well. Sound setup was clear and loud.
I had a blast. It has been awhile since I have been out and I really enjoyed myself. The club is grown the atmosphere is coo. Only problem there is no where to sit if you don't purchase vip you have to stand all night which really sucks
Last night by far was the worst experience I ever had at the Vogue. However, when you over sell your venue and bring in the pretentious geriatric crowds that some of us had to deal with last night its hard to enjoy a good show. I loved Here Come the Mummys, but I would definitely see them at a different venue in the future and NEVER AGAIN at the Vogue.
Great venue and great sound!
One of our favorite live music venues! Always great!
Really great place to see live shows! Bartender was really sweet and was quick even though it was incredibly busy and she had about twenty people in front of her. Music sounded amazing!
Tequila Shots were halfway full and tasted like water.
I always enjoy shows @ the vogue
Had a great time seeing Project Pat! Been a fan since a kid, so I had to come out!
I always love going here for Latin Night -Baila! It’s so fun. The music, the drinks and the people are great. There is nowhere to sit on the first floor unless you have VIP access, so seating is limited on the second floor/balcony. The bathrooms could be cleaner, but overall it’s generally ok. The dance floor is very large, plenty of room to dance. I just love the vibe of this place. I love going every month for my Latin music. Ladies in free before 11pm (cover varies). Drinks are a good price. Make sure you have two forms of ID (ID and a credit card). I am MOST appreciative that everyone is searched before entering the theater. These days, I appreciate the extra thought for the safety of the people. I am not sure about a dress code, but it’s a good plan to dress your best for a good time :)
Good place to see small shows. No problem except I drank too much.
Had a great time performing with Mystikal vogue is a good venue.
We had reserved balcony seats for the show. If you go, get those seats and you will give it 5 stars, too.
Love the iconic Vogue! We've seen many a concert here. Lots of standing room. Get there early if you want to sit and see the stage.
Good venue for a medium sized crowd, have seen a few artists here from too many zoos with beats antique to russ liquid and manic focus a couple nights ago - different energy but a fun crowd both times without oppressive security. Drinks are expensive, 2 dollar water bottles, bring an empty one to fill in the bathroom.
I definitely like the rock bands that come on occasion.
Only 4 stars because there are definitely blind spots where you can't see the stage or a large part of the stage. The waitresses and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Price of tickets is fairly reasonable. Expensive drinks of course but understandable. Good venue for the size, but would be better if there were no big blind spots.
Killer venue, I can't believe this was my first show here. Had a great group of employees and security. Only complaint was beer prices, but compared to Deer Creek, Verizon, whatever the hell they're calling it this week, they were not that bad. Will definitely be back for more shows after this one!
Loved Latin night. DJs were amazing and played a variety of music for the diverse crowd.
AMAZING scene. Great time
Love this venue. It's just small enough to feel like you are close to the artist, but also big enough to fit a good size crowd! And great acoustics!
I'm always surprised at how great the sound is at this place. They get a wide variety of shows. I've seen some great cover bands, Pink, and Chris Cornell here. All great, intimate shows.
Awesome old theater, didn't hurt that the show we saw was awesome also!!
Great sound! Great staff. Paid parking in the lot behind the venue or in the parking garage across the street. Close to a ton of restaurants and bars.
the vogue is always a great spot to watch a show. It's a small enough venue to feel intimate, but large enough that you don't feel claustrophobic. Drinks are strong and not too expensive.
Gotta love the Vogue
I've been here a bunch. Like that there is a bathroom door in the men's room for when people have to poop. Kurt vile was boring but Duncan seemed into it. So did Peter. Jess and I talked the whole time and spent too much on beer. Adam gross stood behind us and seemed somewhat into it. Posers. It was boring. Thanks for being real Jess. Made out here and could have smoked
Love coming here for Latin night. Drinks are not too pricey. Music is always on point. Great atmosphere to enjoy a night out with friends.
The Vogue has definitely made a comeback, I had not been here in like 10 years and went to the mandolin orange concert, great venue not sure what all has changed but the management but they are bringing in some amazing bands and shows now.
Great Venue! Lots of room to dance and walk around!
Was there 1129 18 for the Cannibal Corpse Hate Eternal show. Great sounding venue with friendly staff and fair prices on drinks. Bands don't have to overcharge for merchandise either. I've seen several concerts there and always had a great experience. Just wish box office had better communication via phone and have had issues going by there during opening hours and can't get in for tickets. Then call no one answers, my only complaint otherwise 5 stars.
Such a cool venue! It's small enough that pretty much every one is close enough to the stage to see well. There's tables you can reserve so you don't have to stand on the floor if you can't or don't want to. Had a great time at the Lake Street Dive concert!
The Vogue has been around forever. They really know how to put on a show. Great staff. Very welcoming. I love you guys!
I know of 2 clubs that are dirty, this is one of them. DO NOT trust these bartenders.
I went to the first show at the Vogue in the seventies and still go to shows ,the Vogue never changes and I love it.
Great place to see music. Great staff and location.
I have always loved the Vogue. Celebrated my 21st back when it was still a nightclub. Miss those days. I've been to a few concerts since, the shows are always a good time too. Bring back the party nights more often tho (on Saturdays specifically!)
Excellent venue, as always. Staff were quick with drink orders. Bathrooms were spotless.
Super fun time at the Vogue! Friendly staff, good drinks. A very lougue kinda vibe.
Best indoor music venue in Indianapolis, maybe even the whole state. The sound is just so dialed-in that nothing gets lost.
The venue itself is pretty good. It's a good atmosphere to catch some live music. Drinks are pretty expensive, though, for what it is. It's similar to going to a larger place. The concert I went to wasn't good, but that's wasn't The Vogue's fault.
