Place had a very strange vibe and did not enjoy my time there. Maybe I went at a bad time, it was late (11pm) so I can't say what it is like at prime hours, but I won't be finding out anytime soon. The bartender was friendly enough.

Ike & Jonesy's is great every time we are in town. Very reasonable drink prices, open late, friendly servers, good location... the menu is pretty solid with options for everyone. Try the grilled cheese for a cheap and filling meal. We look forward to coming here repeatedly every time we visit Indy.

This is the place for you if your thing is music so loud you have to sign language to each other. That's the atmosphere at midnight the place has been trashed by then and they can't keep up with the drunk crowd. Its 50/50 on staff. Great or completely opposite so just roll the dice.

This has always been one of my favorite places to go to downtown Indy at night. Always has a great vibe and I like how they play classic of all eras. During the summer it'd a great place to sit outside and enjoy the downtown nightlight without having to be in a super loud club.

SOOOOO good!!! The drink prices are good. The horseradish and breadcrumb topped steak was AMAZING!!!!! My husband and I have been trying to go back since January, but we have a kid and it is a bar. The only available nights we've had to go have been Sunday's and they are closed. Can't wait to make it again!

It was pretty good! They were super busy, but we are here during one of the biggest conventions in Indy. Still the staff was polite and our food was fast. My husband said it was the best Philly steak sandwich he had ever had ( he is not a purest). My Cuban was delicious as well.

The music selection, crowd, and decor was very mixed. Overall an interesting place. However, my issue was with the employees. They were very rude. One server tried to walk through the dance floor and spilled a drink on me. Rather than apologizing she decided it was my fault and shoved me instead. Find a better place to spend your Friday night

This is an old Indianapolis persona. The decor in the place is amazing and accrued over the many years they have been there. They put the modern Friday’s and Applebee’s to shame. Everyone that walks in is an old friend - or you get treated like one.

This place reminded me of Portillo's but as a bar. It was a fun time but make sure you avoid the bathroom later in the night. It was one of the most foul smelling lavatories I have ever been in. Words cannot describe the smell. I though I was going to get sick and/or pass out.

I loved the music and the overall atmosphere-that's a 5. The night I was there though the bathroom floor was soaking wet and that seemed to be the norm based on conversation in the bathroom. There was also a bunch of guys creeping on the women on the dance floor-some of that is typical, but it seemed more than usual here.

Only go for late night dancing and drinks. Used to be one of our favorite places to go when doing a yearly guys trip to Indy, but had lost a little luster over the years. The crowd has gotten older on the average and more trendy places in the area have taken the younger crowd. Hit or miss. Was dead Thursday, good crowd on Friday, and a geriatric crowd on Saturday. Bar tenders are usually okay. I recommend checking Ike's if you already in the area, but would not recommend a special trip.

I work downtown and get a very short thirty minute break everyday. I work in the same building that Ike and Jonesy's is in. I walked one block down to get wings from Hooters (it's what I was craving today!) After sitting outside and getting very uncomfortably harassed by a man I walked back towards work to get away from him. Since Ike's has outside seating literally ten feet from my door i sat there to try and finish my lunch. I understand why a restaurant doesn't want someone eating another restaurants food at their place but after what i had just been through i just wanted to eat in peace. An older man, employee of Ike's, came out and said this isn't a hangout go back to Hooters and eat. I was literally hurt. I wasn't hurting anyone or bothering anyone. My friends and I spend close to $200 a month at ike and jonesys but after the way I was treated today... They can say goodbye to mine and all of my friends money. I get it... I really do. But he was a total jerk about it.

The owner admits to owning a gun during operating business hours as well as allowing guns into his business during daylight. He's very hot headed and word of mouth is they have a very poor relationship with the neighboring businesses. There's many other, better places to go

Food was fantastic, fries were so so good, good price point... BUT the service sucked. The place was dead. Not busy at all and my group of 7 waited an HOUR AND FIFTEEN minutes for our food!!! Unacceptable. The manager did apologize and offer to give us 1 drink each on the house if we come back.

Don't go unless you plan to stay completely sober. They are very critical on people. I had one drink and was kicked out because they said I looked drunk. I am 44 years old and have never been kicked out of a bar. I wasn't evened warned or talked to. I didn't say anything to anyone and didn't do anything! I was just kicked out. I'm not sure how they can do something like that. I was so embarrassed in front of my friends and my new girl friend. I will never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone. Please beware.

Other reviews don't do this place justice. While I'm sure the food is good, we didn't have any - went just for the night club. Had a mix of all ages that blended surprisingly well together. After midnight on a Saturday place was packed to the brim. Fun vibe! Mirrors and record covers line the ceiling above the pin-machine bar tables.

We were at the bar for a "drink". A regular at the bar asked a bouncer to move us out of his "space". After trying to move the bouncer put his arm around my neck and choked me as woman. Please don't waste your time here unless you frequent visit this bar!

This is definitely not my favorite place in town. The food takes forever to come out, and when it does it never "wow's" me. I am also not the biggest fan of the service you get. I've been here a few times and it just seems like the waitress is comfortable doing and saying whatever she wants. Group ordering is basically a nightmare, too. I would suggest this to a small group or couple looking to experience different things in Indy. EDIT: Honestly, I come here hoping that it was just a bad day the last time I went... but that is not the case. I think it is important to note that this establishment has an interesting vibe, and service that is just a pain to deal with. I expect my food to come out (and given to the correct person), my order to be taken in the first place (but I was forgotten), and my drink to be remembered once I order it. This review just went from 3 stars to 2. Hopefully this changes in the future.

Pretty run down since the last time I've been there, but then again that was a couple decades ago. Very few people on a Friday night, but a lot going on in indy that night so most places were uncrowded. I will say I did not feel the safest in this establishment, but that's probabaly the reason there were 4 cops there as security for a while. Waitstaff was friendly but a couple times she did forget my drinks until I reminded her.

Came from Florida and decided to try somewhere new in Indy with my Sis and Duchess on a Thursday night for drinks, food and live music. All 3 were on point! The drinks were A+, the steak salad was delicious and the live band was phenomenal! Our waitress was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable! Had a great night!
