Had a great time at the live recording of DLM! I feel the drinks were slightly overpriced for how tiny (and mostly just ice) they were. Also, I feel they need to work out some ropes for lines to form better. It was chaos once they let the doors open for seating.The stage is kind of bare, but I assume they just haven't finished decorating yet. Otherwise, great and friendly staff, and will definitely be going back!

Paid $69.98 for 2 tickets. Bought food and drinks in lounge over $30. Bought a $9 brownie during show. Because I did not buy 2 items during show I was charged more. Hahah goto Crackers. Staff was nice but talk about petty greed. Good show but wont pay to see margret cho there ever again...

This was my first time at a comedy club. I was a little confused about the ticket policy, we picked our tickets up from will call about 2 hours before the show. We went to the 10pm show on Saturday night. The staff at the ticket desk were so friendly and helpful. My party of 2 was sat at a small table that had chairs for 4. While I am well aware that this is not a restaurant, the tables seemed small if 4 people did happen to order food. The show was not overly packed so no one was sat at our table. We did not order food but I thought the prices looked reasonable, and comparable to similar venues. I had a mixed drink from their menu, I am not a regular drinker, but I could not taste the alcohol in the drink I had, so I was disappointed by a weak cocktail that cost me $10. I ordered another hoping it was just a mixing error, but got the same thing the second time as well. It had a great flavor though. Two guys next to us acted out but were asked to quiet down, and as a result got mad and left. It was nice that they asked them to quiet down. The comedians were really funny and interacted with the crowd well. I would definitely go back.

Really glad this club has been put in. It still looks like there needs to be a bit more added to at least the wall of the stage. But, they're booking some solid acts it seems. Really looking forward to seeing more shows here in the future.

Have been here a couple times. Have been to several comedy clubs. This by far is my fav. Strong drinks, cold A/C. And space, plenty of leg room. Don’t keep you packed in like a sardine can. Great Comedy Club!!!

I decided to go to the box office to buy a ticket because I didn't want to pay the $4.99 service charge on top of the standard ticket price. Sadly, that fee is added even if you buy from the box office. Comedian was OK, but a little lower energy than I had seen on some specials - maybe because it was the later show?

Nice and clean place. Very glad you can get in from the parking garage without going outside because it raining hard when we went. The acts we saw were very funny and the two item minimum is reasonable, just remember only items bought in the comedy room are counted. Food is good but the steak egg rolls could use more steak.

DL and all his openers where completely hilarious! ~bar has fake adult Drinks~ best to order something just to quinch ypur thirst instead of mix and water...food is tasty yet not filling so do not go hungry...building is kind of weird to get into and even if you are VIP you will wait ypur turn! well while waiting have a real drink because they make it in front of your face...but if you order at your seat...completely water/mix

Great customer service well laid out super clean nice environment food was not so good beer was good. Comedy was great. Will definitely go back. You have to order a minimum of 2 items per person it's any 2 items which is convenient. Great location and fair prices to park in mall garage and walk right over. Short easy walk.

There was a requirement of a two item minimum person when seeing the comedy show. Which is fine knowing so up front. However... We got there early to get dinner and the theater wasn't open yet, so we got food in the bar. Only after dinner did the waiter told us the food we ordered would not count toward the two item minimum. What a rip! They soaked us for another forty dollars get two more drinks each in the theater. They will not be seeing us again.

Stage and seating is good. Drinks and service were fine. Didn't try any food this time. Food menu very limited. Prices on mixed drinks a little high but probably comparable for downtown. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because waiting area and lines to get seated were very disorganized.

Indy FINALLY has a club that knows comedy! After years of being insulted by stale performers at the "other" club, we're finally getting some nationally known comedians. The "other" club stated that east/west coast comedy doesn't work in this area, yet I've seen more shows this month than I have all year at the place with the brickwall backdrop. I'm looking forward to seeing the showroom decorated more, but I've been pleasantly surprised by the wait staff and how the club operates. Check Helium out - you won't be disappointed.

Very nice place! However, the food was not so good. I had the steak ncheese egg rolls. Didn't taste like NOTHING. Shouldve had some of the nacho dip someone requested. Also the fries are not really freshcut. Definitely some fries that come straight out the bag and they were like 6 bucks. Drinks werent thay strong either for the price.

I went to this comedy club to celebrate my wife's bday. We have never been to comedy club before so we were pretty excited to go. Let me tell if you think this would be a fun place to go on a friday night...You are wrong. About ten minutes into the opening act we were asked to leave....FOR LAUGHING OUT LOUD. This place is awful. We have never been thrown out of anywhere so this was a awful experience. Only go here if you like to sit in silence while drinking $11 glasses of fruit juice. But be careful cause if enjoy yourself they will ask you to leave. This place should change ifs name to Helium comiical silent seminar juice bar. Three thumbs down. Just stay home and youtube your favorite comedians. Save your money and avoid a awful experience.

Came early for 7pm show, ate and had drinks at the bar...You get escorted inside to sit at very small tables they sit you at??? Very crowded! No leg or arm room! Had to order more items because what we ordered at the bar wasn’t included in the minimum!! Wait staff constantly walking around, kept moving our feet, other comedians were funnier than the headliner! (Brendan Shaw) or however you spell his name! Was my boyfriends choice. Show itself was affordable, wish they validated parking!

Great fun!!! Sooo funny in town on a weekend getaway and stumbled in on earthquakes show and sat and had good food good drinks and an gut busting good time!! Service is good considering they r packed... order 2 drinks and all ur food at once like we did and it works out perfect for the show.. these r awesome

Saturday's Show, "The Bruce Bruce Lineup" was nice and the food is good. However, the seating arrangements are ridiculous...4 individuals at a 2 party small round table is foolishness... just for the $$. It was NOT a comfortable environment! For that reason, I am not sure my husband and I will return to the venue.

Visited this club this past Saturday and Sunday for shows. Seats were pretty close together in the front row but that wasn’t too big of a deal. The service was great and everything ran like a well oiled machine. Nice club, we will be back!

Great place for a show! We love Steve Rannazzisi. The prices were pretty fair and although we didn't order any food, it looked tasty and those eating it looked happy. Two drink item minimum is pretty standard for a comedy club so that was fine. Hopefully they get some decor on the VERY blank walls!!!! We will be back for sure.

Wow!! Opening night to see Jay Pharoah and I couldn’t be more impressed. Fast, friendly bar service. Food was great (try the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls!) and reasonably priced. Staff was attentive and very personable. The venue itself is a great find! Seats are comfy and sound is great. Looking forward to our cat show.

Just left the Bill Bellamy show and it was AMAZING ! Do yourself a favor and catch a show! Had a great night. Atmosphere was great. Will definitely go again soon. Y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I met Drew Lynch. Okay but this review isn't about Drew Lynch so let me tell you why I only gave 4 stars. My experience was awesome and everything ran smoothly and the people were pleasant AF. Awesome place to see a comedy show. But let me tell you about how they decorate: they don't. Even the comedian referred to it as an "asylum." There's nothing up on stage besides a funny guy and a mic. There's no backdrop, nothing is painted, I'm talking a stage and a white wall. IDK..... It was just kind of weird... I'm sort of kind of writing this review because I hope they see this and maybe do something because I'm definitely going back and I think it would be cool to have something there (like a logo....) Instead if just a plain white wall behind the stage. But anyways.... I love you Drew Lynch❤️

As advertised comedian was not there. Bought tickets and they never stated the show was changed. And the comedians wondered why the audience sounded like crickets. We still enjoyed our night out but would have enjoyed it much better had the change been announced. Ps. The false advertisement for the comedian we wanted is still up-you may want to take that down. Why is there no possibility of zero stars? I decided to have a laugh tonight but the laugh was on me unfortunately. I arrived and thought the place clean and respectable. As I waited for the show at 10pm, I indulged in a beer and some food. Settled up and Moved inside. A waitress asked if I wanted a drink. I ordered a dark and stormy. It was not to my liking but I figured I'd have another beer later. Just before 11pm I was approached by the waitress again, who in my opinion was quite rude as she informed me I hadn't met my $20 minimum order and what else would I like? I was somewhat taken aback having paid $30 on entry, $30 on food, beer and tip and then another $10 on the drink I didn't like. I offered $10 and a 20% tip. They got the manager who brought a bouncer. I was asked to leave as I would not pay the open balance. I was really shocked and surprised. I was told there are signs to advertise the minimum order inside. My chair was removed and I was asked to leave again. I just don't believe it at this stage. Capitalism gone wrong. I saw signs outside on one side of a pillar. They are actually really small and not in plane sight, it was not even about the money, it was the attitude and rediculous escalation. The night was a bad joke I will be getting my laughs elsewhere. Huge disappointment for a visiting Irishman to what is otherwise a cool city!

Helium management poorly handled an ugly situation with bully-toddler-tirade throwing Andrew Shultz. Shultz’s set was absolutely flopping as he shushed the audience, repeatedly lost his place on his set, asked the audience where he was in his show, and became clearly frustrated. When Shultz stopped his show and insisted management throw out select customers for merely paying their bills and quietly thanking the wait staff, several of us had seen enough of Shultz’s drama. Shultz refused to tell another joke until certain well behaved young men left. To most patrons’ dismay, instead of making the rude Shultz forfeit the stage to bring back one of the competent earlier performing comedians for another set, the manager walked amongst the stunned audience as the arrogant Andrew pointed out people he wanted to leave. Many of us left on our own accord because of the terrible spectacle! Many were booing Shultz and Helium’s reaction. The manager never apologized to the customers who paid $25 each — plus drinks — for what should have an enjoyable evening. There’s nothing funny about Shultz or Helium. Go to Crackers instead because they know how to treat customers.

Lavell Crawford show was off the chain funny. Need to improve seating process...somewhat disorganized, not orderly. They give you letters for seating groups, but they dont monitor very well...people from back sneak up front and get seated out of order. Cool club, but exits should be pointed out in case of fire. Need to alot more time to clean properly between shows.

Show was great, but the staff was incredibly rude to my group in several occasions. We have been to many comedy shows and understand not to take photos or chatter during the act. So when we were laughing a few times we were shocked to have the staff come over and tell us to “please quit talking to one another.” The rest of the evening our group was too worried to laugh and the show was ruined for us. Won’t be returning.

Another positive commonly overlooked: the two drink minimum (such as is present at all places of this nature) in this place, you have a two ITEM minimum. Drink/food or anything else - gives you some options. We saw TJ Miller here and it was fantastic.

Decided to stop in with my son after his recital, and i’m glad we did. What a fun night!! Staff members were charming and helpful. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. My son enjoyed his brownie and a Beer Both comedians were funny at jokes and I even left with some comedian merch that is going to show people just how much I HATE MONDAYS :-) ( in silliness of course it is wonderful to be alive) 5 out of 5 stars!!

I wanted to really love this place but it kinda let me down. The comics were good but the service was awful. My boyfriend and I ordered food and two drinks. After awhile they brought us our drinks but no food. Our waitress came over and said that they were still working on our food. The waitress never came back to see if we wanted to order more drinks or to see that our food never showed up. It was almost the end of the show, when she came over and told us that we weren’t getting our food and that she was sorry. There was a mix up and they gave it to someone else. Then on top of it when it was time for us to pay for our drinks, she tried to charge us for the food we never received. If we ever decide to go back I’m hoping we will have a better experience. Until then we will probably stick to going to Crackers Comedy Club or Jokers.

I bought tickets online and paid a bit extra for reserved seats. The club is small, so reserved seats aren't a must. But I'm too damn old for general admission! We ate prior to the show, so only ordered drinks. Everything on the menu seemed reasonably priced, drinks were good, and the wait staff was attentive. There were two local acts prior to the headliner. Overall, we were there for 2.5 hours. Excellent value for the cost and an overall great night out. Plus, Kyle Kinane was hilarious and adorable. Win win.

Love the location of the new comedy club here in Indy! I was worried about the ticket process. I like to have my tickets in hand but everything went well at will call. We opted to purchase the reserved seating and it was well worth it. We sat front row but from what I could tell their is not a bad seat in the house. My only disappointments; the soda was not free refills and the onion rings were the worst we have ever tasted, take them off the menu. We also ordered burger and fries which were very tasty. We will be back!

The comedians are amazing drinks are good. The only issues I have ran into is I have gotten the same server the last two times I have been, and her service is horrible totally unacceptable I don't say this lightly we literally didn't get our order the frist time we were there and at the end she came to collect payment at the end and demanded payment and this time we preordered drinks and then never seen her again. Now it was not just our service it is her entire section both times we talked with most tables around us and all were having same issues. I reccomend this place for great laughs but they definitely need better service.

I only say 4 stars due to the service staff. I am completely prepared to change this to a 5 star upon my next show here. The comics set up to come here are great! Jay Pharoah was awesome! But as for the service here, it was a pretty bad first run. I understand you just opened so I get that you are working out the kinks and all. Upon entering, I felt taken care of and appreciated for showing up. The place has two bars and is setup great so that everyone has a pretty good seat even sitting in the back. However the waitresses there seem as though they have little experience with waiting tables. Personally I have bought two sets of tickets to two more shows, so I am more than willing to give it three try’s before locking in my review. So far it is better than any other comedy club in Indianapolis at least. I would give the other clubs 2 stars if that even. The seating system seems better than other comedy clubs in that in that being there first to get our tickets we received a great table. That is one thing the other clubs have always slacked on. Having an odd system to get you into the room. I very much like how it worked here. Please show this club some love and check it out, and try to give constructive criticisms so that they can refine the customer experience and make it an even better club than it already is! Thanks again to Brad for making it a great night!

Almost everything in Jane Kennedy’s review is false. I was there the same night. Andrew Shultz delivered a flawless set and was hilarious. He was never booed or stumbled over his set. I’m pretty sure I know which party she belonged to and just couldn’t handle his humor and was offended. The young guys she is referring to was one guy who the crowd stuck up for and Andrew ended up letting him stay until he talked again. This club is clean, my drinks and food all came out quick and the wait staff was great. Will definitely be back.

Decent venue. Bought a single VIP ticket on 1st day of sale... got sat all the way to the end of the first row, instead of center. Saw the comedians rear end the whole show...While the couple sat front row center arrived late and basically ignored the performer the whole show. My "super fan" VIP reserved seat was the worst seat in the house, because I attended alone. Wont ever reccomend VIP upcharge to anyone.

Helium is your trendy upscale comedy joint that brings a ton of big names! We went to see Margaret Cho. Getting in was seamless. The event was sold out, but there was no confusion. They have a bar area you can chill at while you wait for the show. I'd advise you to come at least 30 minutes before the show. They offer GA so you have a better chance at a good seat. Please note, they do community seating. If you have a party less than 4 prepare to make new friends! They have a 2 item minimum per person with affordable and tasty options. The show room is super nice with two levels. We were lucky enough to snag a table on the floor. The waitstaff was friendly and fast. The show was hilarious and we are going back soon! Oh and they have a place for pics w the helium backdrop. Super cute!!
