I rarely have enjoyed any establishment as much as I do the ball and biscuit. If you want a creative, flavorful and delicious cocktail, look no further. I recommend the pineapple daiquiri which is something I never thought I would like before the ball and biscuit. Top notch. I wish it was a little bit bigger because the open seating can be a tad awkward. But it's easy to look past once you have one of their fantastic cocktails in your hand.

Had on of the best bourbon drinks I have ever had there. They have great, creative cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend any drinks on their menu, or ask the bartender to make something not on the menu. You won't be sorry!

Fantastic cocktails. I had the beet-dilled and it had a natural sweet flavor that ended salty. It was really very good and the staff was very friendly. They were a bit overfull unfortunately so it took a while to get served.

I went here because I heard about best drinks in Indianapolis. I ordered a $15 drink that legit tasted like bleach and pine-sol. But I tasted my friend's drink and it was good, so just be careful what you order.

My husband and I went today and we were so excited walking in and seeing how cute and cozy it was. It has a great atmosphere but the service was extremely poor and the drinks were so disappointing!! They were not busy and we had to wait over 10 minutes for 2 drinks. When we got our drinks, they were warm with no ice cube! If I'm paying $12 for one drink, I expect it to be cold and tasty! The old fashions were not good. It tasted like they had not been stired properly and was warm. It was a huge waste of money. We were so excited to visit The ball & biscuit and it was such a disappointment. We will not be back

This was a really nice lounge for hanging out and having a few drinks. We were in town for a few nights and came here twice. On a weeknight there were empty tables but on Fri it was pretty packed. We were able to find a table though. They have a good selection of wine and cocktails. There's also a good selection of appetizers but we didn't try any.

STAY AWAY!!! Food was ok. Drinks were ok. Service was ok. What really made me give one star was the fact that I didn’t like the drink I ordered and asked if I could return it for something else and they straight up refused. Had a manager come over and tell me that because they list the ingredients on the menu they don’t allow guests to return drinks. Absolutely ridiculous. This is just sad considering I was looking forward to coming here. Never again. So many amazing places to eat and drink in the area I don’t know how this place stays open.

We were looking forward to this place. But when we didn’t have an ID for someone 50 years old in our party, they wouldn’t serve us. Reasonable people? No They claim to follow the letter of the law, but obviously aren’t familiar with the law. So they’ve lost customers and look ridiculous to everyone we’ve told the story to. ... and we will keep telling the story of how Indianapolis Ball & Biscuit is a no go.

THE best place for mixology drinks; try a tequila old fashioned, its the best. They have added more food and it looks amazing. Only have had drinks here but plan on trying out the food soon. Only gripe is the price is a little steep, but you are getting some of the best and most unique drinks that mass ave has.

They convinced a friend to try a new vodka drink after he attempted to order a vodka and cranberry. He agreed, got the drink and it was terrible! We he asked for what he originally wanted they said "let us try to modify this, to make my manager happy.". The drink was still terrible and they kept trying to modify the drink rather then give him what he originally wanted.

My favorite cocktail bar in town. They make the best old fashioned in Indy, and they're always friendly. They don't have much in the way of good, but what they do have had been delicious. I can personally attest to the deliciousness of their charcuterie, grilled cheese, Cuban, and pulled pork Buscuit. Also, it's locally owned, and the owner is a genuinely nice person, so a win all around.

I am truly in awe every time I try a drink at B&B. The bartenders are absolutely incredible at their art, furthermore challenging the existing stereotype of what it takes to bartend. They always suggest (and I do too) you test them at their talent; ask for a drink with vague direction/ingredients, and put your trust in them. You won't be disappointed! The service is more than amazing, it's engaging. Sitting at the bar is never a bad idea. The bartenders themselves always have a story to tell, and besides them, you're bound to meet another interesting character to banter with. Cheers, folks!

Ball & Biscuit should be defined as an upscale gastropub. I entered and was greeted with dim lighting along with a charming intimate atmosphere. Soft, dim lighting is placed strategically throughout, allowing you to unwind and immerse yourself in their offerings. A warm greeting from the bartender met me at table, showing me the cocktails and provisions offered. I ordered a beverage that was far different than what I was used to and I was struck with the full-bodied flavors - no flavor over-powered the other and made the perfect balance of a cocktail. I found this to also be the case for two other cocktails I tried. When I read the menu of this restaurant, I was not expecting anything above a sub-par quality, but I was completely wrong. I received my entree and, just like the cocktails, the portions and flavors balanced perfectly. I felt satisfied. Although uncommon for me, I chose to order the bread pudding with rum. It was a great choice and was a perfect ending to my experience. Although I was visiting the area, I would love to revisit Ball & Biscuit again.

Good spot. Very nice "look" to the bar, and good/strong drinks. If you sit in the window seats, you will be uncomfortable, otherwise, sit in the back and enjoy drinks and people watching. Decent food offerings/small plates, albeit expensive for the portion size.

This is such a cute spot on Mass Ave. I love the microphones as decorations and outdoor seating. The service was good and not overbearing. Our server gave us her honest opinions on drinks and recommendations which I always appreciate. I got the Lemon Tart Gin and Tonic cocktail and my friend got the Old Fashioned. Super refreshing cocktail with great flavor, the old fashioned was different but still great tasting. Would definitely recommend this place and say it’s worth the price!

One of the most fun swanky cocktail bars in Indianapolis. Located right on Mass Ave it’s a solid spot to people watch. I love the decor with antique microphones all over the walls. An okay bourbon list but the server and bartenders are very helpful to find something you’d like to suit your tastebuds. I haven’t tried any of the food but looks very “snackable”.

My husband and I joined a friend for dinner on Mass Ave recently, and then we walked down here to grab a drink and hang out. We each got a different cocktail so that we could sample a few things. Everything was unique and tasty. We did a round of beers as well along with an order of the sweet and spicy nuts. Everything was good, though I'm not sure the drinks ranked as high with me as the atmosphere. It's just a neat little spot with a good vibe, and they were playing some excellent music. It was great for just hanging out with a friend and enjoying the evening.

The dark wood, leather furniture, exposed brick and candle lit space creates the perfect ambiance for romantic evening or catching up with friends. Be sure to try the Spicy Capriosca!
