This is a review for my experience on a few Fridays: Pros: It's a good crowd. Great music. Cons: The floor manager is always a d!ck. I'm sure they dilute their alcohol with water. I see them pour from the bottle, but the drink NEVER tastes like what I ordered. The food is disgusting. Conclusion: Eat before you go - solves the food problem. Buy a bottle or pregame before you go - solves the alcohol service fraud. The manager is always a d!ck, so no suggestion there. The good thing is, most people have far more patience than I do, so the odds are in your favor. With these hacks, it's a 4 star experience.

Club was clean and, for there being so many people, bar service was quite fast. Trap music was all that was playing and the scene was very "thug" (if you're into that). Bouncers are VERY thorough and don't allow people upstairs without proper documentation (ie wristband) and there's no "sneaking" your way up so don't even try. However, the upstairs area is a lot of fun with DJ and a sense of VIP-ness (yes that is now a word). Overall, I don't think I'll be returning but that's ONLY because the scene is not my scene.

This place is a good time! You should probably reserve a table if you don't get there early. I went with a group of 5 and 2 more met us there. We had no problem getting them in since we had a table. Big crowd but all friendly. Good service, great music. The servers were very friendly and there is plenty of security walking around. Didn't try much of the food, but the fries were Good! Downstairs is very big wiyh lots of seating and a big bar. Upstairs is even better if you want to dance. Overall good time.

Visited after 11 p.m. on a saturday for a Bachelor party... Door man was very understanding, let us all in with no debate. I appreciate this because some of the gents were not "dressed to impress." I was very happy with that, and then... Once inside, the bartenders hooked the Groom up with shots and they were passing out complimentary drinks to the rest of us. They treated us very outstandingly! Thank you for helping to make the Groom"s night memorable. We will visit again soon.

I Don't Understand The Type Of Place That Discriminate On Shoes For Entry, SMH! I Had Jordan's (5) & I Couldn't Get In. I Walked Back To My Car Changed Shoes For Some Aldo's. Did The Line Again And I Was Allowed Entry. I Need Explanation On Why I Was Able To See Inside The Place People With Jordan's In The Place Include My Good Friend That Had Jordan (5) Too. My Initial Plan Was To Buy Few Bottles That Night With, Romana Nikolic Your Bottle Service Server But I Didn't Want To Spend Money On This Type Of Business, I Left 20 Minutes After. That's Sad! A+ On The Music Playing And A Big Fat F On Service.

From the doormen, to the promoters of event held there, to the wait staff, to the management team.....terrible. I've given this place 3 chances and each time I've not only had a bad experience but no one took accountability or even cared. One time I called to make sure they had a full menu with the vegetarian plates they serve before I reserved a table. (I had a very elite group coming in from different states). Not only were they not serving any vegetarian meals but when I asked to speak to the manager, he accused me of lying about calling before I made the reservation. Are you kidding me? Don't get me started on the "Friday night" treatment. I preach, do not spend your money where you are not valued or where a company does not take accountability for consumer experience.

We had to wait in line, which was whatever, but when it was our turn to go in, the bouncer(big white dude with a Mohawk and tattoo with letters on his arm) started toying with us and made us look dumb. We’re from out of state and he questioned our clearly legal ID cards and made my friend show him her Facebook and then made us wait longer on purpose as he made fun of us with his coworkers. Another guy inside noticed and made him let us in. I didn’t enjoy the night after that.

I came here as a Korean with my Africa American with my boyfriend and they refused to let him in based on his pants but allowed me with sweatpants and flops on to come in in slides. Rude and will never spend money here. I urge the black and colored community to do the same

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new place out in the city, so we took an uber to this restaurant. The moment we got out of the car, not even inside the establishment, some man in a horribly fitted suit (I honestly thought he looked intoxicated) told him he wasn't allowed in. He was wearing khaki shorts, and a sports polo. I have searched various sources and their website and there is no place where it says anything about "no shorts." It was very frustrating and very rude. I will not even try to go back or recommend to anyone.

Bouncers are condescending jerks and liars. They close at 1:30 so don’t let them lie to you (because they will and try to act dumb when you confront them) and say it’s open until 2 after you paid. Downstairs is no cover but in order to get upstairs you have to pay the bouncer for entry or be on a list or buy bottle service which is bogus. The DJs are usually good on Friday and it’s a nice crowd if you’re willing to overlook all the other bs. If you’re reading this, you should go to Persona instead. :) you’re welcome.

Great place, awesome clubbing atmosphere! depends on which day you go though, Friday nights is usually packed and if you arrive after 12 most likely you wont get in unless you want to pay for bottle service. Saturday nights is the best night to go! A mix of hip hop, top 40, with Latin music.

This is a self renowned after work happy hour spot on Fridays. However, what I expect to be after work on a Friday is not true here. This place doesn't get going until about 7pm, by then I am either at home getting ready for my Friday night or just coming home from a true after work happy hour. Once this place gets started, you cant get a drink, there is a long line and a cover charge. Good luck getting a table after 7pm.

Chill spot but too small for large crowds. Once the first level closes, you either pay to go upstairs or have to leave. Upstairs was so hot, like a sauna and it's this small room packed with people. We were there with a bachelorette party and left after 10 minutes being upstairs. The staff is nice but the place is a no for me...i don't like large crowds in small areas. Especially in Chicago.

Love the vibe of this place. Very laid back and relaxing. The dance floor spaces were great, it had an open floor with out any obstructions with bar tables, lounge chairs around the perimeter. I went on a Thursday and they have Bachata and Salsa lessons, will definitely be coming back!

I was there for a Greek party AKA and had the worst time I was VIP paid 450 dollars for it was suppose to be no waiting in line so when I got there I go to the front of the long line only for the white guy with the red beard security guard to stop me by putting his hands on my shoulder and saying where are you going back of the line I replied I'm VIP he said I dont care what you are you have to wait in line like everyone else so I took my phone out to text the rest of my party to tell them the problem and he says and calling someone wont help you then turned to the people in line stating I dont know why they paid so much for VIP anyway so my problem is why are u saying calling someone wont help and why are you talking about how much I have spent in this establishment you are a security guard nothing more it was simply unprofessional so needless to say after going and finding the right people they came out and he had to let me in I was apologized to over and over but this guy didnt know who i was I could have known the owner and instead of him saying I'm sorry i wasnt aware of VIP getting front of the line let me check he kept talking like my boss will have to come out here and tell me to let her in not knowing who I was it was an awful experience and I will never go there again I would really hate to think it was a racist black thing

I'd been here about a year ago and it was dope. Went back when visiting from out of town and now they had a trash mandatory but very subjective coat check policy. Some people (mostly women) with literally the same fitted leather/jean jackets/blazers on were let in while others weren't. My girls and I stood there and watched the bouncer step back and take a thoughtful look at a dude with a full peacoat on and let him in but wouldn't let my girl in with a jean jacket. We left. Do better.

Awesome 2 story nightclub in River North! Great food and happy hour drink menu - on Fridays. Outstanding staff and DJs each night. Fridays get crowded pretty fast, so plan to get there early. Perfect place for any type of celebration, or a night out with friends. Highly recommend!

I'm not native to Chicago and moved here for work. I've frequented this place many times and never had many issues. Today, my friends are in town from the south and I'm am strongly dissatisfied with the customer service and management at this place. I was just looking to take my friends to one of my favorite spots in the city. The manager’s name is Sean/Shawn. He told us that we weren't allowed to come into the establishment based off of false accusations and his subordinates were disrespectful. When you see this man, please provide him some constructive criticism on customer service and communication.

Went there for the first time on a Saturday. Good music. 2 floors. First floor mainly Latin mixes and second floor a variety. Reason I only give it 4 stars out of 5 is the line for coat check was ridiculously slow to check coats in and to get coats at the end was a nightmare. I personally didn't have a coat for that same reason, but a friend did and they waited a good bit while the one person tried to deal with so many people And with some "lost" coats. Overall a good experience tho.

I was denied at this club because of my black boyfriend and his friend. The bouncers tried to say it was because of their clothing but it was obvious it was because of their race. We saw other caucasians entering the bar in the same clothing and they didn’t say anything. This place has racist people working for it and I wouldn’t recommend it at all!!!!

I went here a few weeks ago with some friends, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was remarkable - there's something for everyone on the menu. The service was prompt and attentive - even the manager came by our table. The atmosphere was fantastic - upscale and modern, but not snobby. I have a food allergy, and they took it very seriously. The server confirmed with the chef which items that I can and cannot eat and even modified a dish to make sure it was "safe". It was comforting that they paid special attention to my needs. They also have an upstairs area that we visited after our meal. It was a relaxed, lounge-style atmosphere (with a DJ) where my friends and I had a few drinks. Overall, I'm beyond satisfied with my experience, and I will definitely be visiting again soon.

Thursday night is great for Spanish dancing! Beautiful location. Customer service unfortunately was not good. Coat check girl had a horrible attitude and was snippy with patrons. Bartender with a ponytail was arrogant and more interested in being on his phone then serving the customers.

Have been going here every Thursday for Bachata Thursdays. Free coat check before 11pm. Guys at the door are always sweet and you can have fun with them if you're trying to about talking to weird creeps at the bar.

This is a great cafe. A group of us tried it today for dinner and we were very impressed. The staff is friendly and helpful. They had a free appetizer with the purchase of an alcoholic beverage, and their wine was reasonable and good. Their minestrone soup is great. My friends enjoyed their meals. The place is cozy, with nice art and lighting. They have a nice patio and their food prices are reasonable. The cappuccino comes with cookies, as well.

I was here for a happy hour on a Friday evening/night. Service was really, really slow. The salad was really, really good. But they kept thinking our food was for the table next to us. (Based on Friday nights) I used to go regularly. Black professionals and hip hop. Lost its appeal when they finished renovating the top floor. You need a wristband to party upstairs, so after 11pm downstairs becomes empty. It is usually still a good venue to check out before everyone goes upstairs though.

We RSVP a table before hand got 4bottles. It's mandatory you coat check. They have no organization when at the end of the night every one is crammed to get the coats. Every one is pushing and shoving. And they are screaming for you to get out. But they had 2 people to hand out coats. No point to a coat check if they don't have organization when picking up. Just my thought. Trying to get an Uber to pick you up. They screamed to "leave the front of the property." When it's the side walk. And that they will send all Uber to cvs accross the street. For a Saturday night not may people, which can be a plus. Hardly any one was dancing.

Absolutely loved this place! We ended our night of bachelorette festivities here. We had reserved a table through a promoter and to my surprise it went smoothly. We had no issues getting our group of 15 all in and they took us right to our table! Elvin the security guard was the absolute best! Super nice, made us laugh, and really was the first impression of this place so kudos to him! We started out at a table on the main floor since upstairs wasn't open yet but once upstairs opened, a table was prepared for us and we were able to move. I've never seen this before but it's awesome! Our servers were great, they continued to check on us and make sure our mixers were full. Great music both downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs was more salsa, bachata, cumbia, merengue and upstairs was more reggaeton, hip hop, rap. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

We went on Thursday night for their salsa/ bachata social and it was lit! Great level of dancers overall! Intense maneuvering required because of how crowded it gets. I preferred the second floor since it was less crowded, was appreciably air conditioned, and had more salsa than bachata music!
