Music was great. Didn't like all of the talking going on during the show, ESPECIALLY during the acoustic portion. I also believe that those taking selfies and group pictures with the flash on during the show should not be allowed. It's a distraction for those that want to see what's on stage. There was WAY TOO MUCH of that last night for Sonny Landreth's show, in fact, we saw people leaving because of it. Make an announcement before the show next time.

I have been going to Fitzgerald's for 30+ years, and always have a FANTASTIC time, listening and dancing to THE BEST jazz, blues, cajun, and rock bands, including the Chicago Grandstand Big Band, John Burnett's Orchestra, Chad & Jeremy, and MANY OTHERS!! They don't have much parking, unfortunately, yet I can always find a parking place for my small compact car, within a block! Great drinks, at very good prices, including white zinfandel, etc. Also, Capri Ristorante, a FANTASTICO Italian restaurant is steps away from Fitzgerald's, and they have their menu. You have to go next door and place your order and pay, and if they have enough people working, they'll deliver your order, or if not, you just go back and get your food, and return to the music. :-D

I mean, decent place. Good sound. Gets way too crowded. Its always 100 degrees inside, they wont run Ac in summer, just open a couple doors, in winter they run the heat and everyones sweating. Service at main bar during shows is a joke go to side bar. Tickets online upcharged. Ive bought tickets anywhere from 9 in the morning til 2 in the afternoon at the bar but some guy refuses to sell them before noon now, tells me just buy them at the door night of, when if u dont get them presale, again ticket prices jump up. It seems management doesnt really care about visitors. Zero parking.

If you've seen any movies featuring Chicago and live music, scenes were probably set in Fitzgerald's. Get there early enough to get a chair; late-comers get stools or stand/dance for the performance. The multi-day, multi-stage American music festivals set over the 4th are a bargain.

There are no words to describe how good the music is at Fitzgeralds or how attentive the bar guys are in the "Side Bar". The gals in the main venue are swamped so you have to be patient. Open mike nite is an eye opening experience. There's plenty of street parking just avoid the temtation to park where thaere are tow signs......they are SERIOUS. And if you are od'd on Fitz'z choice you can drive a touch to the west and stop in at Wire early. If you lose something at Fitzgeralds they are ultra upstanding and do a great job of reconnecting you with your list item!!!!!Priceless!!!!!!

I've lived in the neighboring town for decades and this is the first time I've ventured in. I attended their Voicebox, where Cathy Richardson of Jefferson Starship joins Maureen Muldoon. Its a storytelling event with a musical twist. Stories are inspired by a given song and after each story is told, Richardson, inspired by the story performs a song. I enjoyed it

Had a great time at this small venue spot for live music. I jammed out to Big Lagniappe and the sound quality was spot on. The liquor options are ample and at reasonable prices. There's tables for meals and conversations before or in between acts. They also have a small dance floor right in front of the band to jam with. One draw back is they don't serve food in the bar, but they allow you to bring food in. I'd recommend this place for good live music and a good time.

This place has good music, friendly waitstaff, and plenty of room indoors and out. Only drawback is the acoustics of the room, which is too boomy/overly reflective in my opinion. See also the "Sidebar".

FitzGerald's is my favorite place to go for live music! They always have great shows, enough room for my friends and I and they attract a good group of people. I usually go for Big Band, Rockabilly or Beatles cover bands. They have a heated tent outside and there is always plenty of parking. Sometimes you need to buy your tickets in advance or get there early for a good seat, but it's always a good time. I once had a work party there and they were awesome to us! My wife and I usually love the shows at Fitzgerald's. Unfortunately, tonight's NRBQ vs. Los Straitjackets was overcrowded. Service was quite poor. Online tickets are hit with a 12% surcharge now. A lot to pay to stand in a tight, rude crowd getting thirsty.

Stopped in for a Tuesday night show- Atmosphere was impeccable. Tables with candles and string lights provided just enough ambient light. Great intimate atmosphere to enjoy the music. Drinks were decently priced and the waitresses were nice. Although we didn't try the Capri restaurant next door, we might have to next time as the entire parking lot entering Fitzgerald's smelled like fresh bread= amazing.

Saw NDI at Fitzgerald's last night. Nice place. There were plenty of tables to sit down if you wanted, which is something that a lot of bars forget about. It's usually three tables and a couple of bars stools . I like have the option to sit. I'm not really old but my body can't take standing for hours like it used to. The bathrooms were clean. The stall had it's own sink which I loved. The acoustics were really good. Good place to see band. Easy to find.. parking was easy unlike in the city. Didn't have to pay and just parked down the street. I would return. We had a good time . Lots drink choices too

Love Fitzgeralds. No restaurant but they have some decent restaurants near by and you can bring your food into the Venue. I think they will take a food order for a restaurant adjacent to them. Atmosphere is great. Good entertainment too.

Fitzgerald's is an iconic music Hall! The staff is great. They don't serve food but you can order delivery and they allow you to bring in outside food. Their cocktails are tasty with plenty of beer and wine options. I live in the area and really enjoy the option to have live music that isn't so loud you can't have a conversation with your partner. The music varies from night to night. Cover varies as well, seems based on the artist. The highest I've seen so far is $15

The American Music Fest is a must! They bring in such amazing talent and it's just a great atmosphere. They identify incredible talent way before they're established so it gives you an opportunity to see acts like Trombone Shorty play on a tiny stage for 100 people! The owners are awesome and you can see how their personalities and passion for music run through the venue. Also, their Fat Tuesday parties are a blast and they have unbelievable jambalaya.

Tremendous music venue and the places wall decorated for the holidays.the blues was rocking in the place was packed truly enjoyed it.the restaurant next door provided packages of food for a reasonable price for those that were hungry. The first Tuesday of every new month is blues Tuesday and they start at 7 and done around 10 but the music rocks
