Our party included eight adults, one teenager, and four small children. We were seated in the sun on the patio, which was a little too warm and we were concerned about sunburns. However, everyone agreed that the food was delicious. The view from the patio was nice, being able to see the bridge and buildings of downtown. The overall experience was good.

The Yard House was very nice. The ambiance was great, the music wasn't overly loud. Our server and the manager were really nice. The food was excellent and huge in portion size. My burger wasn't cooked correctly and they fixed it right away. I will definitely be back again.

Very friendly bartender, many different kinds of beer, at acceptable prices. Would have been so good... Except the food was a big disappointment. The atmosphere is also somewhat dark and cold, not very inviting. Good place for a drink, but not somewhere I like to go out for lunch.

One of our favorite restaurants and even more so now. We had a few questions about the vegan options they have and our waitress was able to answer our questions or find someone who could. The Kitchen Manager even came out to talk to us after our waitress told them of our questions. Truly, exceptional service!!! Hannah you rock!!

The food is usually outstanding. This time the vampire was only par. Mine didn't have the big roasted garlic cloves that I have about. My guest had never had one and it's always something I order for them because it's unusual and so delicious. This time it wasn't. I was really disappointed. The dessert trio was great and so we're the drinks, but the server failed to mention the chilled spoons and we had our dessert with forks. I even mentioned at one point how difficult it was to eat with a fork and he didnt say anything about the spoons u til we were all done. I usually love this place which is why I come back often and love bringing someone new there, but this time I was let down and may go elsewhere in the Village instead

I love that such a large chain restaurant has so many veg* options; beyond burger, beyond sausage penne, and a bunch of gardein options, always good, every staff member has always been friendly and accommodating. My wife love the kale, brussel sprout, and pistachio salad.

HIGHGLY RECCOMEND!! Be prepared to wait for a table if you are a little larger than average party. I knocked off one star because we were told only a 35 to 40 minute wait for a table but ended up being closer to an hour and 15 minutes! The food however was amazing and the selection of beer wine and alcohol was overwhelming. I loved that the alcohol menu had the alcohol content and where the beer hailed from! Made choosing both easy and difficult! Didn't have a bad beer and the 4 taster sampler is very reasonably priced so you can try out a few to find your favorite!

Everything was delicious and we had a great Valentine's day here! It is a very lively restaurant and a little loud but not enough to really bother us. I got the rib eye steak for dinner, blackberry smash for my cocktail, and fried Mac n cheese for an appetizer. The steak was delicious! It was very juicy and flavorful and possibly one of the best I've ever had. My drink was also very good, it was sweet with a slight tartness to it from the blackberries but might be one of my new favorite drinks! The Mac n cheese was so dang good!!! It was the perfect balance of crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, definitely a must!! It came with 2 sauces, 1 was a tomato bisque and the other was a truffel sauce that my husband really liked. My husband also liked his dinner, truffel cheeseburger, and his beer, which was a Stout but we can't remember the actual name. This restaurant gets 2 thumbs up from this girl

Service and food were both impressive. They also have a large alcoholic selection. When I asked about a drink not on the menu my server provided recommendations about what I would like to have. After our drinks were served I was not disappointed with my Extra dirty Vodka Martini. I’ll gladly return here for the atmosphere and for the splendid services provided by Yard House.

After visiting the Yardhouse on several different occasions I've decided to leave a review. I have suggested this location to family and friends looking for a slightly upscale sports bar and grill. I've invited friends from larger cities visiting Boise and non have been disappointed. On one visit with my girlfriend, the steak she ordered was slightly overcooked from what she ordered. After bringing it to the attention of our server when asked how everything was she apologized and offered to have it remade, which we declined for time reasons. Later the manager came by to our table apologized again and removed the meal from our bill. A couple years later we visited again for an anniversary and the server brought us a complimentary dessert to celebrate. Sometimes the restaurant is busy and serve times are slightly high, but overall my experiences have been very positive with a great variety of choices on the menu and a wait staff that has been genuinely interested in pleasing their diners.

Location is great but the food is average at best. Service was excellent and friendly. Maybe this place is better if you are drinking but the fish tacos I got were actually not worth what I paid. Almost no fish in the two sad little tacos that came with this order. I guess if your going here it is more for the location and alcohol. There are better food options around the banks and downtown area. Maybe we caught them on an off day but I think selling alcohol is there primary focus. I would give them a second try if we are near there but my expectations would be lower.

The yard house staff went above and beyond for me. Being a vegan it's hard to find things to eat sometimes in restaurants. Our waitress and the kitchen manager checked labels and double checked with me before just giving it to me. They didn't have to go out of their way like they did, but they did and I appreciate it so much!! The food was amazing!!!

Had lunch with family in town for the holiday. Service was good, despite the restaurant being very busy. Food was just ok though, and one family member was ill later that day. Nothing serious, but her fish & chips had been very greasy. Mac & cheese was deemed good by the kids, burger good too. Loud & noisy, I'd consider going back for Happy Hour, but not for a meal.

Wonderful place right by the riverfront area. There is a park there and a playground. The service was terrific and the dessert for my fiancee's birthday was free. Food was delicious. Price was high but worth it in my opinion

The food was good, they were super busy with the reds playing and October fest at the same time so that's the only reason the service wasn't that great. The restrooms were not completely clean but that's to be expected with being super busy. I haven't been there when it's not as busy so I assume that on other days these wouldn't be an issue.

It was my first time here and I will definitely come back! Our server Shyy did a great job of taking care of us and making our evening special, even bringing a special dessert to help celebrate our anniversary. Service was a bit slow in the beginning due to a very large birthday group that came in before us but once we got our orders in everything came out in a timely manner!

I have only been to the Yard House two times. I like the atmosphere, it is very family friendly. They have a very diverse menu, so you can have everything from burger or steak, to sea food and chicken. They even have Asian style options. Basically there is something for everyone. It was very busy when we went so the food was a little slow to come out. The service was out standing though, our server always made sure our drinks were full and asking if we needed anything. There were 5 of us and not one of us were upset with what we orders. So the food was slow to get there but worth the wait at the same time. $85 with tip, for a family of five. A good deal too.

Mediocre & overpriced food. Burger appeared to be pre-pressed with poor quality toppings, bun falls apart, with oversalted fries, $17. This was somehow one of the cheaper dinner options, and I expected a sports bar could do a burger right, but no. Great beer list, with quite a few local pours, but highest pint prices in the valley ($6-8/16oz, expected $4-6/20oz.) Most of these beers are on tap at locations all over the valley... that the list is long at Yard House doesn't make it right to overcharge. The great patio location in The Village is the high point for The Yard House, but I wouldn't go there as a destination. Update: they do have ridiculously good happy hour appetizer prices!

I picked up a large order for someone else. They were pretty busy, of course, for a Saturday night. I waited a good 15 or 20 minutes. The employee handed me each item one by one. Approximately $100 worth of food. Why would the food not be bagged prior to being brought up front? Thus the ability to be handed over easily. I was literally handed nine meals, a soup, and three or four sauce cups individually. No bag, no utensils, napkins. Of course I couldn't leave like that. I was handed a bag and made to bag the items myself... Please prepare a better system for these situations.

One of our favorite places to go for Happy Hour on a Friday. The Fried Mac and Cheese and variety of Street Tacos are excellent. They've got a huge selection of beers on tap, and an impressive cocktail menu. Definitely check them out on your birthday- you'll be treated to more than the average scoop of ice cream!

For my meal, I ordered a small Cobb salad with blackened Chicken and a side Al Pastor taco (without cilantro). Taco meat (pork belly) was cooked crispy and was really tasty with fresh onions; recommend this if you enjoy a Street type taco. My Cobb was excellent - it had edamame, corn, fresh bacon, egg, avocado, radish, bleu cheese with creamy ranch.

Very nice place located to all the hot spots in the city, went to a Cincinnati Reds game and ate here before the game. Large menu selection, if you like craft beers, this is definitely for you, their selection goes on for days... Service was good and brought within a reasonable time.

Called in and got my name on list about 2 hours before or arrival... called to see what wait was right before leaving our house (about 90 min after our original call), we were told your place in line is only valid for 30 min. So we put our name on again. Upon arrival, they didn't have us on there. The girl wouldn't help us at all and said sorry there was nothing she could do... Then Max stepped in and got us in line close to our original spot. We were then seated within minutes. Great customer service Max... other girl...

This was my first time in the yard house. It was only a block away from the great American ballpark so we stopped in before the game. It was crowded with many fans and the wait wasn't ridiculous it was only like 15 minutes. The pizza was great the onion rings were awesome. The only downfall was the onion rings were ordered as an appetizer but came after the pizzas were delivered to our tables. The waiter kept apologizing but it was not his fault.

Busy place! Wait was thirty minutes on a Saturday night, which was fine, ate at the bar instead. Service was friendly, one beer, one wine and a pretzel $30. The Pretzel was huge! Only disappointment was it was served with a spicy mustard and very spicy cheese sauce, nothing else was available. If you can sit on the patio the wait is worth it, great people watching.

Environment and food was above average, we enjoyed it until the server decided it was time for us to leave. We had finished our entrees and he asked if we saved room for dessert. We responded with "no only for beer lol". He then proceeded to close us out and very quickly. Made us feel like we weren't allowed to sit and have a couple beers after dinner. I work in customer service and this is a behavior that we discuss the negatives of very thoroughly. I will not be going back.

Food was amazing. Our waiter was very patient with us during our visit too. I was emotionally distraught (but contained-I try not to let my depression show on the outside) but couldn't help but cry and the waiter that day was the kindness I needed and I personally felt ashamed when I ignored him at first so he wouldn't see me cry or hear the crack in my voice but I very much appreciated his understanding and concern for me. Means a lot to check on me the way he did. So thank you again! Beautiful restaurant and wish I could have held myself together longer to enjoy it in its entirety.

First visit for me. Service was very slow and our server did not know the menu. The weather was fantastic and we asked to sit by the windows which were open to the fresh air. The hostess did not want us to sit there because the table was set for 6 and we were a party of 4. We had to plead with her (this was a Thursday night and they were not busy). Poke nachos were good. They were out of a couple of beers that we tried to order.

I was very disappointed with the food quality and presentation of this particular Yardhouse. I've been to the one in Virginia Beach, VA several times with excellent visits each time. Cincinnati was a different story. I ordered the bbq burger with truffle fries. The burger arrived on what appeared to be a stale store bought bun. The bread was significantly larger than the burger that was on it. The fries were carelessly tossed on a huge plate. Presentation was pathetic for the price! The fries were significantly thicker than what I'm used to from the other location. It's like they ran out of their usual thin cut fries and borrowed some from Wendy's. The parsley and parmesan cheese was barely visible. The waiter was great and I didn't complain while there, but I wouldn't revisit this location again.

Yard house offers a great location for the heart of the city. The river walk is right there as well as other near by attractions. The food tasted great and the staff was available to answer any question on the menu. There is usually a wait if you go on the weekend but they do their best to get you a seat.

Would have given 5 stars but I just couldn't due to the chicken strips being dry and when we asked for to go boxes the waitress took our food and said she would box it up. We got a bag and when we got home we opened our bag and we did not get our nachos we just got the sliders and dry chicken strips. I would have rather have the nachos. The waitress Beas super sweet but we just were not impressed with the chicken strips or not getting the food we paid for in our to go bag

The atmosphere was nice but sitting in the side, covered porch area was a bit chilly. The drinks are a bit pricey and they don't offer drink specials. The view is AMAZING! I love having dinner on the banks of the Ohio River.

My party and I arrived around 1 on a weekend, and it wasn't particularly busy. We were seated outside, and the server took our drink order, and then brought said drinks. After this, she disappeared for awhile. It was long enough that I was considering waiving someone else down or getting up to look for her when she did show back up again. She was very professional and apologized for the wait, saying that she doesn't normally serve the table I was at and forgot about us. I appriciated that she was honest and admitted to forgetting about us rather than making up an excuse for the wait. We placed our order,and shortly after the manager came out, apologized for what happened, and told us they were going to comp our meal. Personally I would've have been happy with just a discount or a free drink, but I wasn't going to complain about a free meal, even with the wait. The food was great, I had a vampire taco for the first time, which was delicious. Despite the slip-up in service, I feel as though both the server and manager handled it professionally and went above what I would have expected in terms of "making it right." Ultimately my party and I left, satisfied with both the food and experience.

A very nice, upscale chain restaurant. Our visit this time was because my niece was passing thru town so we had 12 family members show up without reservations for lunch. They quickly put together some tables on the patio to accommodate our group. The menu was large and diverse enough to satisfy everyone from my vegan niece to me the carnivore. The number of beers on tap is amazing and if you're as burned out on IPAs as I am there is a good selection of European lagers and pilsners.

I shall preface this review with the fact that I never made it in to the restaurant and this is probably an isolated incident. So please read no further if you have nothing but good experiences from being a guest. In my upbringing you never get a second chance to make a good impression! My experience only goes as far as the customer service of the hosts whom were seating all the guests as they arrived. I have always been told Yard House had a great fusion cuisine. I’ve personally have eaten at many of the world’s finest restaurants, including Michelin rated in France, and was prompted by several of my colleges/cohorts to patron this particular restaurant. I finally indulged the temptation and arrived on a Friday evening around 6 with the expectation that I was going to have to wait for a while. I anticipated a 45 to 60 minute wait. After all, it was Friday evening and there are many events/activities present at The Village Mall on Friday nights. I placed our my name for a party of 2 on the seating list, was informed it would be around 40 min wait and handed a pager. My wife and I wilingly stood beside the entrance so as to not miss our opportunity of being seated. It was a bit chaotic that night. All the while during my initial waiting period we observed several people had arrived behind us whom also placed their names on the list. I am a patient person, so after 50 minutes had passed I began to become concerned. I figured because it was busier then anticipated and was given a well educated guess of 40 mintues there was no need to become panicked. Again I had expected up to an hour’s wait. It was not disappointing to find out we were within a couple names of being seated. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes more had passed (this puts around 65 to 70 minutes total waiting time). During this small extended time period I realized that two groups of people whom arrived after us were paged and seated. Obviously I promptly returned the hosts, inquired as to the reasoning of why I was looked over and not paged for my seating. Upon my asking why we were not seated, they could not give me a reason. In fact my name wasn’t even on the top page which had freshly written names on it and several were crossed off from the top. They did a search not their lists which caused them to turn backwards one page to locate my name. Sure enough, it was on the previous page with about 8 names below mine which all had been seated. My name was not crossed off. I stood there astonished with anxiety while holding a beeper in my hand, which had never gone off, expecting a reasonable response from the host. I was apologized to and then told he would place my name on the list again. He informed me it would be another 40 mins wait. I became seriously irritated as I watched him place my name on the bottom of the list. I asked why we just couldn’t be the next two seated and bump the other guests that arrived after us down one slot. After all it clearly the host’s fault for making the blunder. He said there was nothing he could do and this was just how it was to be. I rudely handed the beeper back “at” him, gave him a stern disgruntled look along with a comment of disgust. I don’t feel exasperation very often, however this was unacceptable. I have no idea how the food is and I never will. I will not patron this place simply because of the experience I received from the staff at the hosts station. As for reviews and recommendations which all my friends made, well let’s just say they hear of my intolerant experience. We absolutely love Yard House. A great restaurant, fabulous food, and superb location. They have a great menu and a very nice lunch menu as well. Reasonable prices, great food, fast friendly service, beautiful views, and awesome location make Yard House a must stop when in Cincinnati. My 10 year old picky eater also loves Yard House. She wanted me to add " they have the best pizza ever". I would also like to add that we all enjoyed our food and will return very soon. Dont forget to try the pretzels. It is also located right next to Carol Ann's Carousel, Smale Riverfront Park, and the Ferris Wheel. All are within a two minute walk of each other. What a great way to spend the day in Cincinnati.

The staff was nowhere to be seen here, it took them about 15 minutes to come and give us water and menus. Another 10 to order, around 20 for food. I never saw her again until the bill. I ordered something spicy and needed more water. I had to steal water from my friends. I think that the restaurant is nice, but the lack of employees is not worth the price of the food to me.

I have always had a great experience here. I come in probably once a week. Anthony is he best bartender IMO, very sweet and attentive. a little pricey per Boise standard but if you want something central, and in the village, it’s the best option. Kona is hit and miss and I’m not a fan of Twig. Awesome happy hour, happy customer base. Great food. I’m vegetarian, try the buffalo cauliflower! I take my friends here for special occasions. Surprisingly mature food that's well crafted, the beer glasses are obnoxious (not a good thing). Nice staff. About a 10-15 minute wait during prime time. Back to the beer glasses: they are tall, gawky and when you go to finish the last bit, the bulb of remaining beer sloshes out of the bottom and launches itself into your face. After you get your face slammed with beer, you're supposed to place the glass on the table which has a rounded bottom. If you asked me to design a beer glass 500 different ways, it would definitely not look or function like this. It makes the entire experience pretty distracting and awkward. You have good food, you don't need Willy Wonka glasses to differentiate yourselves.

I was trying to submit the survey but I lost my code, long story short: Waited a good bit for our appetizer (six mac n cheese sticks). A little while after that we got our food (orange chicken) which we were told that it would be a good portion. Once we got our food, it was the biggest disappointment ever. Out came a plate of really spicy “orange chicken” and about five decent size chicken bits and the rest was skin crumbs. Along with that, the chicken was really over cooked and the rice was undercooked. Also certainly not a “decent portion size”. And to make it worse the six Mac cheese sticks was $13!! Honestly I’m probably not gonna be coming back, not really for the service and the food but to top it all of, the menu was...meh to say the least.

Our service was not that great. The food was not too bad. Their salad is odd since they mix the salad dressing in for you. Our waitress acted like she would rather be elsewhere. Had a nice meal here before a Reds game. They offer an extensive menu and have a tremendous selection of local and national beers. Also they have a nice outdoor area for dining but with enough shade that it’s comfortable. My last two visits had very capable and fast service and we all had good experience with our selections. We liked the selection of tacos and the fried chicken sandwich. Also the chicken lettuce wraps are a great appetizer.

Yard House is always good but not impressive. They have 140+ beers on draft and an eclectic selection of food to choose from. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with truffle fries. The sandwich was good but the sauce was more like a kinda spicy maple syrup. I would have liked it to be less sweet and more spicy.

If you eat there REQUEST HIM. the food is amazing. But my service couldnt have been better. I'm pregnant and picky and he was so helpful. He was knowledgeable about the menu, caring and sweet. Food was ok for a higher priced restaurant. Do not waste your time or your money. I ordered a burger not much flavor in their BBQ Bacon Burger. My significant other had Vampire Tacos. he was not impressed. They took my daughter's favorite dish off the menu (she has been to the Yard House a few times, this was my first time), it was the Halibut and Porcine mushroom sauce dish. She got the fish and chips with garlic fries. She felt she got the "left over fries" My garlic fries came out later than my burger and were fresh and just made. Hers looked like they had been around for awhile and she got the "bottom of the barrel" fries. We will not go back .....for their meals lacked flavor for such a price. Maybe they should reduce the size of their menu and concentrate on flavors instead. Server was great!

Very very not pleased with the service I received tonight. I was planning a birthday dinner with friends, and called the day before to try to make a reservation. I was told that I couldn’t make a reservation, but I could call ahead about a half hour before my group got there and we would be on the waiting list. This would have been perfect! So, a half hour before my group of 10 was to meet there, I called, and was told since my group was over 6 that we couldn’t be put on the list. Well, a half hour before I’ve already told everyone to meet I can’t change my plans. I asked to speak to the manager who basically told me tough luck and that it would be an hour no matter what. I know she could have done something, but she wouldn’t budge and was very rude. The young ladies who originally greeted me when I first walked in where MUCH more pleasant than with my experience with the manager. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE PLANNING A LARGER PARTY. Will NOT be coming here in the near future unless they teach management how to better handle themselves.

Yard House is a great last minute option if you're like me and forget to make reservations for Saturday night. It's a spacious restaurant with a lot of TVs if you want to catch the game while you're there, and the wait is usually not too bad. The best thing about Yard House is the beer selection. They have a TON of craft beers. It's definitely worth going here for drinks alone. There are a lot of cocktail options as well; I've had mixed results with these. The reason I'll usually pass up Yard House for other restaurants is because the actual food is pretty inconsistent. I often go here with a few friends, and someone always has an issue with their food - maybe something is overcooked, maybe a dish is seasoned strangely... This doesn't happen at the other places we go. I know people that have ordered the same entree multiple times, and sometimes the dish just has something wrong with it. I've had some really fantastic food here, though; the fish tacos I had last time were delicious. I would recommend Yard House if you want great drinks, or if you want to have a dining experience that doesn't always rival the best restaurants in town.

After that, the visits from our server became fewer and far between. It was clear she was having to hustle between lots of tables (and it's a big restaurant with lots of space to cover).

They got my husband’s order wrong, which my husband decided to eat anyway figuring it would take too long to correct. The manager came over and apologized. My macaroni and cheese entree was mediocre, which i only ate a 1/3 of it. When the waitress came to ask me if i wanted to take it home i told her no, that it was just okay, she wasn’t concerned. Maybe they are short staffed. We will not be back. They didn’t even offer a discount or compensation.

Very crowded a plus for them. Beer was cold and plentiful. We were allowed to sit at a table at the bar area until they needed it for seating. Hostess needs table and comes to clean it and elbows each of us several times. If she was younger I would understand but someone in their forties, come on. You know better. … The outside smoking area had a guest tripping guests as they were walking up steps. Nothing done about it. I watched the girl do this to two people and she just looked down at them and acted as if she felt bad for them and then evilly smiled as they collected themselves. If I had my phone handy I would have taken pictures. The three stars is for experience and not the beer. The beer can taste good anywhere.
