Poor service. People running front desk are rude and have attitude. Drama, fights every time we go!!! We pay for VIP.... no table to be served at. Not worth the money or time. Bad atmosphere all around.

You better put on your monkey suit or you won't get a drink in this bar. Patronage here is so scummy. "Upscale" = overpriced only. I'd feel bad for the bartenders if they weren't so rude.

Highly advise using cash only unless you want to end up being charge for other peoples’ orders. Great environment, great drinks, but you should really have your servers work on multitasking and organization

I wish there was a negative 5 option. This place is a joke. I was nice to all the staff and when i went outside to smoke i tried to go back in and simple because I was talking about my ex husband for threatening to kill my son and I they kicked me out and belittled me. I want a refund for that night or I will report you guys for harassment.

The wait staff are very slow to help customers and I've seen them check their cell phones when they should be helping customers. China Blue needs better bar tenders.

STAY AWAY: We literally had one drink before we went to China Blue and the doorman refused my friend and refused me. Jokes on them, I didn’t even have a drink yet. Which proves they only let specific people in. It doesn’t matter cause all the other bars in Boise are far better. Go somewhere else!

They have a great dance floor and good music but they tend to draw the wrong crowd. We usually end up here at some point in the night. Last time I was here I could not get a single bartender's attention I waited at least 15 minutes before I gave up trying. I was told by some people I was with that night that China is notorious for ignoring customers. So drink somewhere else before you get there if you want to check it out.

The space is great but honestly the DJ can stop playing the same set every week like seriously.. I know it by heart .. talk to him or find some other DJ. He got lazy really.. He better than that..

If there was an option to give this bar 0/5 stars, then I would. I've never felt so harassed by anyone in my life, let alone staff members of a bar. It was my first experience going to this place, and it will most definitely be my last. The bouncers as well as the manager were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. My experience here alone has compelled me to never step foot in another one of this owners' bars. They will never get my business again, nor will I stay quiet about how truly awful this staff and place is. If you can avoid it, stay clear of this bar, there are so many others that know how to treat their customers decently.

Worst club in town, worst prices in town, worst atomsphere for dance clubs in town, and a dress code for dancing that is far too strict. The place in a big nope for me. All aboard the nope train. Go to Crow Bar across the street, way better, half price before 11 even.

We will never set place in this bar again. First off security is a joke. The health department should be called about drinks being served in the bathroom and the lack of cleanliness throughout the facility. Broken glass on the dance floor is never acceptable!! They shouldnt charge for coat check if they lose BOTH coats checked in. Employees should not be able to drink on shift and also need to be watched when running tabs. My card was over charged even when i left an appropriate tip. The bartenders are very rude. The girl bartenders refuse to serve other women...which is ridiculous. Obviously there is no Management taking responsibility. Horrible experience...especially how over priced it was for what they had to offer. I recommend going somewhere else.

There was almost no one there on a friday night mid summer. I ordered a well drink and was charged for a route 44, the drink didn't even have a garnish.

The place was packed. There was a broken bar stool near the dance floor that I cut the pad of my toe off and scratched the top of my foot on. Getting any kind of assistance was a joke! The bartender told my friend if there's blood security has to deal with it, she tried to tell security and the guy just walked away. Real nice staff y'all! Oh I guess i should thank the bartender she did give me a bandaid. I'm pretty sure that there is some type of procedure for these incidents. Doing a great job on hiring Ted! Great looking staff and all, ( cute but stupid) its too bad they don't care about the Welfare of the customers.

We were having a great night for my best friends bachelorette party until the bartender in VIP took our money and then said it wasnt ours, then called security because we were arguing with her. Guess she needed the money more than we did. We wont be back!

If you like overpriced drinks that aren't made right or don't even have ingredients, then this is the bar for you Also you can hear the same music here than you can find everywhere else. Looking for a perk that China Blue has that no other bar does try the restrooms, the restrooms are not properly labeled by doors instead you just wander down a hallway until you accidentally find yourself in the opposite sexs restrooms because you can't actually see the dark lettering on the walls within the dark rooms that point to where restrooms are.

Terrible door guys, they were complete jerks. They're on a power trip and don't care about their customers or potential customers. I never go to this club and tonight was just a confirmation why I don't & never will again. ZERO OUT OF FIVE STARS.

Just kicked 2 girls out for being too drunk we are completely sober kicked us out into the cold and let a group of drunk guys in not fair will not be returning and will tell everyone didn't even let us use the bathroom will not be returning

I agree with the other reviewers. The bar staff ( him/her ) seems always lazy and messes up drink orders. If they can’t hear the need to speak with the employer. If they can’t handle the job, get a different job.

I went to china blue for my very first time and someone got stabbed. One security's should be checking for weapons for safety instead of just checking ID's that was my last and first time I'm going. There's no way that I'm gonna be going and knowing that I can danger my safety.

Security just cant seem to figure out my out of state ID. Either they have to call like 4 different people over to look at it or they just flat out reject me. This has happened multiple times, its a better bet to just go down the road to Hannahs.

The bartenders are money hungry scammers. Who charge drinks however they feel necessary! Ordered a vodka tomato juice at the bar and was told by the little female Asian bartender that she didn't have tomato juice or any Bloody Mary mixer for that matter. She had the biggest attitude and it was clear that she just didn't feel like restocking her section. Ordered the same drink from the cocktail waitress (who was newer) and she brought exactly what I asked. The cocktail waitress stated herself that the bartenders are lazy and choose what drinks they feel like making. Don't waste your time at the bar! The dance floor is great tho!

why do i always end up here? Not bad for a club, it has a pretty decent layout, but i'm not really a club person. Occasionally, they have events that are pretty fun, but a little overpriced.

That place needs new everything. Leaking ceiling. Cracked and torn seats. Bathrooms are beat to hell. The music is dated and starts out to loud to early. Management could do so much better. It has a lot of potiential but unfortunately its currently lacking in style. There is so much good new music yet they are mixing top 40s from several years ago. I hope managment puts some effort in some day soon.
