My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the low prices and generous serving sizes for the drinks, which were really tasty btw. We really enjoyed the meal and the service was great too...never had to wait long for anything...we would definitely come back next time we are in Kona.

Delicious fresh food, especially fish. We've been here several times over the years and it's consistently good food and friendly service. I would give it five stars if only the parking were easier to get in and out of. Quinn's needs a bigger parking area. Maybe if you go before the dinner crowd, you'll get a table, served and out. Otherwise, it's busy and you'll end up in line because it's good to eat there.

Fish and chips are great. Big portions and thick fries. Pineapple slaw is an option with rice. Ask for fresh fish. From fish tacos, sandwiches to burgers food is fresh and tasty. Had the child portion with 3 pieces of fish and pineapple slaw yummy and highly recommended

Drinks were good not too sweet. Price is good considering the average for the island. The food came out hot but was super under seasoned. Probably won’t come back for that reason.

Stopped in for a small bite before the luau later in the day. Cesar salad that 3 could share, onion rings for the table were to die for.....very light batter but very crispy. Pickles in the same batter were light and crispy. Chicken quesadillas were stuffed and very good. This is a great place to stop in for a quick bite, or a relaxing dinner

I have come to the Big Island for 20 years now and every time we make sure to eat dinner at Quinn’s. Last night I brought my family in for dinner and Janessa was our server. Her attitude was horrible and she didn’t write down our orders, which led to her forgetting appetizers and sides we ordered. The food was amazing, it always is, but the server completely ruined our experience. We have all been servers before and we understand tough nights, but the restaurant was dead and we were treated so poorly I have to question if we will return in the future. I recommend eating here, but if Janessa is your server I’d politely ask for someone else.

Shrimp, Fish and Chips were delicious! The breading was light a s crunchy, complimented the fish well, and wasn't too greasy. The fish was Ono which is a nice firm white fish with good chew and flavor.

Central location, almost by the sea, as they say. Prices reasonable, but the sandwiches we got were big, too much really. If you go for lunch, as we did, go hungry. The food was very good though, just couldn't eat it all. I will definitely go back.

Why haven't I heard of this place before. The food was great. I'm sure the drinks are good too (by the way other customers were acting) but I don't drink. There are different seating areas. We chose the are in the rear. Much quieter. Parking could be difficult. I recommend this place.

The Ono was just perfect and beautiful plates for all. Fresh juicy chunky and delicious fish. We all enjoyed the food, drinks, prices, and atmosphere! The service was also good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and bar! It was literally right across the street from our hotel in Kona. My husband is an amputee and was able to walk to this location with no problems with his prosthetic leg.

I'm actually surprised at how good the food is here with the price point you get a pretty hefty portion of food. Staff and management are pretty nice. Parking lot is super tiny due to location, but worth hitting up if you're hungry.

As a lifelong Packers fan, what a nice surprise it was to find a Packers bar on the Big Island. We really enjoyed the ambiance, with all of the Packers memorabilia. The staff was exceptionally friendly and provided timely and accurate service throughput the night for our party of 7. We met for dinner at the recommendation of new friends who live on the island (and also happen to be Packers fans). The food was preparation and presentation was excellent and was equally tasty. I ordered one of the specials for that night: Korean BBQ steak with Poke, steam vegetables and steak fries. I also enjoyed several of the brews from Big Island Brewhaus. I enjoyed talking the latest Wisconsin news and Packers rumors with the owner, who graciously spent time visiting with our table for quite some time. Even if you're not a Packers fan, this place is definitely worth a visit and highly recommended. Hopefully, next time we visit the Big Island, it will be during football season and we can catch the Packers on one of their big screen TVs. Go Pack Go!

WALKS ALONE

STAYED AT KING K ACROSS THE STREET AND ATE AT ANY PLACE WE THOUGHT WOULD BE GREAT. FINALLY WE CROSSED THE STREET FOR THIS PLACE. IF YOU LOVE FISH AND CHIPS AND SHRIMP THIS IS THE BEST PLACE IN TOWN. I THINK OF THEM ALL THE TIME AND MISS THEM VERY MUCH. YOU CANT GET ANYTHING BUT OVER PRICED FISH AND SHRIMP IN CALIFORNIA AND IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING . GREAT PLACE TO EAT. THE WORST WAS OUTBACK, DARK NO VIEW AND NOT CHEAP JUST A TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT. GUMPS WAS PRETTY GOOD BUT QUINNS WAS THE BEST. THE BEST ONION RINGS YOU EVER HAD AT QUINNS.

This place have great food and great friendly service, but finding a place to park is a little hard, but they do have some spaces in front, very limited. But I do recommend going for their food. We got the Ono fish and chips and the Korean Style Wings, very tasty. So if you're in the area, you must eat here.

Visited here on 3-20. Sat at the for drinks and food. Drinks were a good pour, bartender was very friendly and talkative. Knew the menu and didn't hesitate to give us recommendations. We started out with fried pickle chips. We had the hot wings and Ono wrap. Everything was great. Very cool little bar that seems like a local place. Recommend for sure

The food was 5 stars and the service was a little slow- but my waitress deserves 5 stars for being the only one working the whole restaurant! The Li Hing Mui margarita was especially good. If you need parking and there's no room, there is public parking just 5 minutes away.

If you don't care so much about seeing the water while you eat, this is a great choice. The staff is nice, the Mai Tais are tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. We had the fried Ono and it was very well done and more than I could eat.

Saturday 2/16 barkeep doesn’t have the skills to be running the bar solo imo. His eyes are constantly down. That being said he was good at welcoming guests. The service after was painful for a ~12 seat bar. Had to ask for a drink, asked for menu too. Took the girls order next to me, my menu was closed and didn’t ask if I wanted anything. Took another 8-10’minutes to get his attention. Now waiting to get my tab 15 minutes after pulling out my card and trying to get his attention. Try harder be better, keep your eyes up.

We were pleased with the food and if we were in the area we would go back. They were very busy, so it was a little slow, but that was expected. They were very polite to our party even though it was a busy night. They don't have a lot of parking close, so do keep that in mind if you are planning a visit. I don't think you will regret trying it out.

They were super fast! The waitress and hostess worked with us to get us in and out quickly to catch our flight. The food was good and the portions very large. The food was also fresh and hot! I am only sorry we couldn't spend more time. When traveling, I prefer to eat local... definitely a spot to hit if you're in the area!

It is a good place with nice dishes and good beer. The vibe was nice and it's really close to all the fun in town. Parking can be difficult at times but across the street you can find additional parking. The broiled fish was really fresh, the sides were fine and I enjoyed their signature potato. They offer a good selection of local craft beer too. We really enjoyed the ones from Kona Brewing.

Loved this place! We sat outside on the back patio, great seating! The food was fresh and superb. The beer was ice cold. The service was friendly and fast! The Ink fish & chips was fantastic, and a huge portion. My son inhaled his coconut prawns, saying they were the best ever! This is my favorite spot in Kona for great service and value! Go!!

The atmosphere and vibe was great, very relaxed and chill. We went later around 9 PM so there was parking near by but I imagine it gets pretty crowded easily. Food was average, nothing to write home about. We ordered fish frys and shrimp scampi. The fry was one note and a little bland. The shrimp scampi was swimming in a cup of oil. Both dishes came with steamed unseasoned veggies topped with a pinch of unmelted cheese, which was a little weird. Service was great, our cups were always refilled and the food came out quickly. Good place to hang out.

Can you imagine? I am in Hawaii and their is a packer bar across from my hotel. Being from Wisconsin, my wife and I had to stop in for a visit. I got to drink a Leinenkugel 's Summer Shandy which is brewed in my hometown. Before leaving , I purchased a Quinn's packer shirt which already has people envious of my new possession .
