Wonderful experience with this restaurant. We had been walked to our table and I found my boyfriend had surprised me with a teddy and some roses, along with the whole table sprinkled in flowers. Everything was perfect, and I can't wait to go back again. Their food is phenomenal, we got the four course and got cheese, and then salad, and then came our meats/shrimp, and finally came dessert (everyone's favorite part) and we left with happy belly's, and got to take our flowers and teddy home with us. Staff was wonderful, and attentive.

Still my favorite place to dine. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The staff at the Concord Pike Melting Pot was extremely attentive. They made celebrating my friend's birthday worth the joy she experienced. Can hardly wait to get back!

The melting pot is a chain restaurant that does a pretty good job of not feeling like a chain. It's a fun place to go with multiple people cause the meal is very interactive. I've been to a few different locations but this one specifically has always been consistently good.

Great service, but I hope you like cooking your own food. Not what I expected at all, raw meat on the table that you constantly have to worry about cross-contaminating with your "clean" itensils. Make sure you don't have anything to do that night because it takes at least 3 hours to get through all courses. I hate to say all bad, because like I said it was great customer service- personally it's just not my type of "out to eat dinner" place.

My first experience here at the melting pot was really exciting. I have been back twice now. What I find strangely interesting is 100% of the three times I have been, I have had the same waiter, which this guy is the cheese master. The cheese has been out of this world each time. I know they bring you unlimited breads but he gave me the hook up with corn chips to dip, and I went to town. I do not recommend the grill pan...too much work to cook the food...the fondue is way better!!

Wife and I decided to try Melting Pot on Saturday. Went at 4pm figuring we would beat the crowd. Unpon entering I became a little concerned when I saw so many empty tables and booths. The hostess preceeded to tell is she couldn't seat us until around 930. Obviously we left and will never again try this establishment.

Great experience didn't know what to expect but it was a lot of fun or waitress was very good the food was great and pricey but kind of worth it it tasted great but you have to cook it yourself which I thought was strange but it was fun the dessert was unbelievably good we got the s'mores and it was great everything cost us a little over $100 that price I won't be going there again anytime soon but just to try it out it was worth it

Pretty good food. Always like the cheese fondue. The new grill option for the main course was better than the other choices we had in the past. Server was friendly. This is not a place to eat quickly. The food is brought it in courses with time in between. Is more of an experience than dinner.

I’ve been here twice, service is always great and the food delicious! For the quality I think the price is justified! The only think I wouldn’t recommend was there cheese fondue that had mustard powder. The mustard taste was to strong and was not the best (I think this was a special so might not even be on the menu now). Everything else was amazing!

We went for the full experience. We made 5pm dinner. First to arrive place was packed before we left. Each table feels exclusive. Definitely a great time with friends sit spend as long as you like. We started with the cheddar fondue. Next we had wine broth with huge amount of steak pork and chicken. I had 3 different steaks. After cheese fondue there was a salad. That put me over my limit and I couldn't do the desert course. All I can describe it as wow. You know there the money was spent during the entire meal. Go even just for the fondue, or dessert entree the spread is impressive. Best dinning experience I've had since Venice Italy 25 years ago.

Our favorite of the melting pot chain. Always friendly and fast, as well as polite staff. If you haven't been, you're in for a treat at the melting pot. Get the 4 course meal and you won't be disappointed. You pick a salad, then cheese (fiesta is my favorite). Next you choose what meats you wanna cook and what broth to cook them in. After you eat your salad the server with make the cheese fondue in front of you. Once you are done the cheese they will bring the broth over to heat up then bring the meats. The meat is brought out raw, you cook it yourself right at table! (The server will tell you what to do) Once you're good and full they will bring out the chocolate menu... It's at this point you realise it just got serious. There are so many to choose from and it's always so hard to choose which. ...But yeah... This place is great!

Had a great experience at the melting pot this evening I had the four course meal and everything was amazing I enjoy the desert too. Understand that this is a high end restaurant and also a fondue restaurant so cooking your food is just part of the restaurant and the price is definitely worth it. They closed at 10 but had no problem with us staying almost an hour past closing very friendly staff and manager.

Food was amazing the service top notch. Our table of 8 split the Wisconsin Cheddar and Quattro Cheese. Both were exceptional, however the standard Wisconsin Cheddar stood above the the Quattro. I opted for the orchard salad, which was fantastic. Then for my main entree I got the Steak Lovers. When I first received the plate of sliced beef I thought it was kind of skimpy, fat guy in a little coat. Give me a 72oz steak and I will see how much I can eat before I pass out. The filet mignon and the teriyaki sirloin were mouth watering. The filet was the very best filet I have ever put in my mouth. The chocolate fondue was good but didnt steal the show like the steak did. My overall experience was A++!! Bring the wallet and take out a loan if you bring your family you will spend at least $50 person, having said that it was worth it.

I usually have such a great experience at this location but last night was less than stellar. It had absolutely nothing to do with the food or the atmosphere but EVERYTHING to do with our waitress. She was super callus and talk to me and my husband with such disdain, you would've thought we were eating at McDonalds. Her attitude stunk! She behaved this way from the time she took our drink orders until the time we left!--which I actually had to get up and ask the hostess where she was because she never came to our table to check on us or bring us our 3rd round of drinks. I had to personally give the check with our payment to the hostess because she again didn't come back to our table. She seemed like she didn't want to be at work and that our presence irritated her. The people across from us had a very nice waiter that was upbeat and talking friendly to them and I wished we had him instead. With that being said, I would totally return, but ask to not be seated in her section because the rest of the staff were very pleasant people. I would say her name, but she never introduced herself to us. She was a large (heavy set) young black girl and wore glasses.

Last night we decided to have a special night and dine out at The Melting Pot in Wilmington, DE. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. But, after 15 minutes, I finally went to the hostess, who was seating another table adjacent to us. She apologized and rushed off. For another 15 minutes we waited and watched, while the adjacent table’s waitress took drink and dinner orders. Across from us, other staff cleared and readied a table and another looked over at us and walked away. I finally went up to the hostess stand and said we had been waiting a half hour with not so much as water. The manager (I am assuming) came over and apologized and took our orders. The waitercame over 5 minutes later with water and confirmed our orders. Our drinks finally came 45 minutes into our experience. We have come here many times over the years. This, by far was our worst experience!

Be prepared to smell like the cooking if you order the grill option. Pretty steep price-wise. Steak cuts were decent; not great but not terrible. Its definitely an experience, as others have said be prepared to spend a minimum of 2.5 hours there.

This was my first time visit, I've always wanted to come check it out but always something getting in my way so I finally had the opportunity. The restaurant serves a four course meal which they have a set menu or build ur own and yest they have options for different pallets. You start with your cheese fondue course you can decide what cheese you want my girl and I had the cheddar and baked potatoe one which I thought was pretty good, accompanied by a variety of breads and veggies along with apples. Next was ur salad course which was pretty good as well. Then came the meat selection u can either chose a set menu or build ur own I chose the lobster, cajun shrimp, filet mignon and salmon I have to say I wish they had more seasonings on the table because it didnt taste like any of it was seasoned but It was accompanied by a variety of sauces my favorite was the teryaki sauce and u also cook it all urself which was a great addition which I enjoyed greatly. Finally we have the final course the chocolate fondue which is more then just chocolate, we chose the original which was milk chocolate and crunchy peanutbutter and milk chocolate with toffee. All in all it was pretty good and the price wasnt to shabby eighter but it wasnt a five star to me only because I have dined at many different restaurants that take the cake for it.

DH and I have a long history with an iconic fondue restaurant in CA, including our first date, where we got engaged, anniversary dinners, etc... We've been very lucky to find the Melting Pot restaurants when we aren't back in CA for our anniversary. This is the 3rd Melting Pot in 17 years at which we've celebrated, and it did not disappoint. The menu is full, clear, and varied enough from which to choose three to four proteins. The drink menu offered enough options to keep us debating for almost 10 minutes. The meal, served in 4 courses (Do yourself a huge favor and take your salad to go. There are plenty of other veggies available and you'll actually have room for dessert!) is well presented, delicious, and fun - seeing that you get to cook it all yourself! Our waitress was great - super friendly, helpful, but not too present. If I had to nitpick I'd say I felt a little too aware of being moved along, and that, at a corner both for 2, we either had to sit at 90° to each other to both reach the fondue pot, or we could sit closer to each other but one person had to do all the dipping (the option we chose). Fondue is equally enjoyable for adults and children (~5+) and I'd recommend this Melting Pot to anyone. The parking is easy and free, the restaurant is well lit without being glaringly bright, and while there is ample background noise, it stayed just that, in the background. We saw families, birthday groups, couples, etc... all seem to enjoying their meals. We'll definitely be back!

This is by far one of mine and my girlfriends favorite places to eat and is where we enjoy going for a classy anniversary dinner. I would definitely recommend the 4 course meal as it's worth every single penny. The atmosphere is very cosy and most dining booths are secluded by dividers for a more private dining experience. The staff is also very polite, friendly, and helpful and are more than happy to go over their drinks and food menu with you. P.S. Try one of their alcoholic dessert beverages after you finish your main course!!!

Food was great but service here is below average. Took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. Then took 25 minutes for our waters to come to the table. Not to mention our waitress was not very attentive. At one point she disappeared for almost an hour and left the burner on! The smoke from the burnt grill made it unbearable to want to stay any longer.

I took my Fiance here for her birthday and we had a waiter named Rich who was outstanding and full of personality. We went into this resturaunt knowing that the food comes to your table its uncooked. You cook it yourself in your choice of select broths, or dip appetizers/desserts in your specified cheese or chocolate fondues. Our waiter specifically mentioned a warning of cross contamination of raw foods before we even got our meals and gave us additional plates to avoid this. The service staff was awesome and just being an "experience" by itself going here was well worth the price. At nearly $50 per person for the 4 course meal with drinks, this place will definitely take a place in my "special occassion" line up for going out. A+

Anyone who leaves here hungry is doing it wrong. The food is excellent quality and the servers are fantastic. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth every penny. We went for our anniversary and my husband had mentioned that when making the reservation (tip: make a reservation!) and they gave us a card when we were seated that was signed by all the staff!
