I stopped at this restaurant because I've heard good things about their food. I walked in and wasn't greeted. The bartender then went into the back somewhere and didn't come back for about 10 minutes. She was obviously not having a very good day and treated me accordingly. I had a water and left. I won't be back.

Love this place and it hasn't changed a bit (in a great way) except adding even MORE wonderful things to the menu. It's comforting to walk on the same wood floors and sit in the same roomy booths, watch the river and falls and people fishing. Hear great music, be welcomed by members of the same family that has been proudly running this establishment for 3 generations, see old friends (and make new ones) and eat some of the finest food in the state. Chili and soups made fresh daily from the same family recipes, fall-off-the-bone ribs, crab, fresh fish, huge burgers and sandwiches and so much more. I didn't even want to write this review because Park Place somehow seems like a place you want to keep as a secret "hideaway" but that would be just selfish. If you go let me know and we'll come in to say Howdy.

I used to eat here all the time but if you're not sitting directly at the bar then it is hard to get service. If they do have a waitress on, then she is in charge of all the tables and some quickly forget what you ordered, bring out the wrong food, or get it before it is cold. I recommend always eating at the bar. Food is good. I stay away on weekend nights cause it gets really crowded and usually have a band or dj. Great location on the river. It is family friendly if you sit at a table and they do take out orders as well.

With a great, laidback daytime atmosphere, Park Place is one of our regular Sunday lunch spots. The Sunday taco special is a must try, and the mac and cheese bites are to die for. Seriously, I dare you to try and find better. The bloody marys are fantastic, and the orange crushes put your average beach bar to shame. Don't let the dated decor and faded paint fool you, Chris and his team have their stuff together. You won't be disappointed. While this is not a place for children after dark, during regular meal hours, this is a very family friendly spot. A full children's menu includes everything from rockfish fingers, to chicken tenders, to peanut butter and jelly with choice of fries, applesauce, and broccoli. Give this local restaurant a try.

Have eaten and gotten take-out a couple of times here. Last order was for 20 chix wings and they were perfectly cooked and a good sized wing. Most people just think it's a dance club but they do bar food incredibly well.

It's a bit of a honkey tonk and sports bar rolled into one. Recorded Country music to dance to, beer, well drinks and typical bar fare. The burger was good but unexceptional. The meatloaf was good with mash and gravy. The beer selection on tap was typical. Soft drinks tasted unusual like there was a tap problem.

It's old and dated, but comfortable, prices average. Nothing special but we have been a few times. Husband loved the ribs, also had the Sheppard pie and it was really good !

We visit this restaurant a couple times a month. The food is great!!! They offer half priced wings on Mondays. I enjoy the garlic parm flavor. Their burgers are awesome and I LOVE their French dip.

Very disappointed ! Always loved this place! Came in on April 24th for what we thought would be an enjoyable dinner! Was far from it! Took a while to get waited on! Food was cold did not get a welcoming feel at all! Ordered a lot of food! Food was cold! And when we were almost done with are meal waitress came to check on us but never did when we were eating! Very disappointed!

I've shot pool here the last two Mondays and really enjoyed being there. Chris is a great bartender and offers some of the best service I've seen. Monday night is wing night and they're amazing! Definitely worth a visit.
