This place is pretty chill. The music is hip hop dance but older, early 2000. They charge a 10.00 cover & the beers and drinks are really pricey so expect to spend a lot. Really not worth the experience. Id rather go downtown & be able to dance to more modern hip hop if I'm gonna spend that much..

I wish there was a zero star! My friend and i got at 1:20AM. First we paid $20'to get in( overpriced for the spot). Second we got our drink by 1:35AM ( the line in clubamd bars normal) Third we were not even done yet that the bouncers yelled at us to get out because the club was closing. He said " Yall two tall N****gas need to get the F**** Out! Multiple times. We asked him to let us finish our drinks and leave then starting cussing us out. Wait what kind service treat customers like we were begging to get in? Last they pushed a lady like she didnt spend her hard earn money on their establishment. The place smell horrible never again

One of the ONLY PLACES for urban hip hop AND BLACK FOLK!! NO WONDER ITS WAY OUT OF DOWNTOWNS RANGE, DONT WANT THE COLOREDS CLOSE. and to add insult to injury, ITS NOT EVEN AN ACTUAL CLUB. ITS A DAMN EVENT CENTER WIT A BAR, HELL TO THA NAW, NAW, NAW!! CANT WAIT TO GET BACK TO OAKCLIFF!!

The website says it ends at 2, but when I got there at 1 the bouncer (or whomever) wouldn’t let me in. There were people inside waiting for me and he shrugged me off. I’ve been there a few times, never had this problem. Anyways, won’t be going there anymore.

Was in town for my Reunion...Went there after we put the rest to bed and had a great time for a Friday night....Nice mature crowd with very good ample space to walk and dance....the Music hit enough good spots to keep you rolling.

It's gross. It smells. They have a buffet, but the food tastes bad. I suppose the music is good (disco mostly), but that's not my taste. There is a reason why disco died a long time ago. This just seems to be bringing up old bones. (If you've ever been here you would get that joke!)

Happy hour Buffet just okay...nothing special. Needs to open earlier to attract people coming directly from work. We stopped by expecting it to be open at 5 but we're turned away as they don't open till 6. Went next door and had a drink at Fresh Fish Company and found it to be poorly managed. All empty tables had dirty tablecloths... There were four... And they were all dirty even though the wait staff was chatting behind the counter. We had to sit at the bar in order to have a clean space. Doubt I'll go back is I wonder what the kitchen looks like if the dining room is such a disaster

Horrible experience with the waitress. Shoves into you, no apologies, cursing at customers, very rude behavior that makes it crystal clear the guests/customers don't matter.

A year ago this was may favorite place to come and dance with my husband and not have drama. Older crowd is chill, staff is awesome.... However, I don't k ow what happened to the music! Says it caterers to over 30 but doesn't play the old school music anymore.

I've always had a nice time there until lastnight. I wasn't in the club 5 minutes. Asked for a drink for me and friends and the waitress brings the wrong drink for my friends( bacardi not patron). I alert the waitress this is not what they order and she got mad and told another lady to serve me. The next lady walks up and asked me what did I order and proceeds to make the drink. A friend walks up and ask how much are they charging for my drink? I simply replied to him that I was waiting on my receipt. The lady that was fixing the drink replies in a yelling tone," I'm fixing it right now, if you hold on". My reply was that I was speaking to my friend not her and that there was not need to yell. I proceeds to yell about at me "the customer". I ask for my drink and reported the incident to the security guard. He tells me I can't do anything about it, she is the "general manager". Wow, you have a general manager that knows nothing about customer service. I politely left and will not return to "cougar town."

Pros: They play good music--mix it up with new and old music. Cons: Extremely stuffy. Restrooms are a mess and the lines are out the door; while there some girl even went into the men's restroom because she was drunk and couldn't hold it anymore. Obviously they kicked her out after that lol.

Sept 03 2016: Went to check it out with the wife. I asked the guy at the front door if I could take a look around and check out the buffet and he said yes, stand at the top step and look, I took one step up. Really, freaking rude. I wanted to check out the food, the dress code for a very sexy hot wife and the club. He stated for 7 bucks you can look around. It's not the money, just his attitude. Well, I left and went to other club for dinner and dancing.

I love dancing and having a good time with my friends at the Proof. Sadly, we had a bad experience tonight. One of my friends walked away with our waitress and one of the security guards. I saw the waitress but not my friend or the security guard. When I asked the the cop at the front door where they went, he said she's out there with security. I was like I wanna check on her it's after midnight, I'd like to know that she's ok. When I came back, he started yelling at me, legit yelling, that I was not allowed to re-enter without paying. I was like, you're joking right, I literally just walked out to check on my friend and walked back in with security (he walked her to the atm). He escorted me back to our table and made me leave. We had 20 people and spent hundreds of dollars as well as ordered bottle service and treated the wait staff with respect...our entire party left because of his actions. I can't speak for others in the party, but I will never go back nor will I recommend this club to others.

For the 40 and over crowd for sure! While there are SEVERAL places the millenials can go to socialize, drink and dance(?), Proof is probably the only place where the Baby Boomers can go to get their dance on - we're not dead after all! Thursday's Ladies Nite WAS great until it was replaced with latin nite. Friday's Happy Hour is fun and includes men and women of all ages. On Fridays and Saturdays the music changes as the evening goes on, anyway, so there's bound to be something to suit everyone at some point during the night. I've only ever seen everyone having a good time here - no inappropriate behavior or fights - probably because this is a place where the 'mature' crowd gathers. In reading others' comments, I see words like 'cougar,' 'ugly, chubby women' and 'old.' I think some people out there need to exercise some of the manners they were hopefully taught and, if something doesn't suit you, just keep your negative comments to yourself and move on . . .

Payed $ 7.00 to get in only to find out all the tables were reserved , this was about 9:00 pm; but the club was half empty. Finally found some seats at the bar only to be told a few minutes late that me and my guess had to move because they needed to remove the chairs from the the bar for other to come in. Watched as they had to escort someone out, will never recommend this place to anyone management sucks

Worst club experience in Denver thus far! Staff is rude and entitled, if you want a failed attempt at vegas service in denver check it out. Otherwise, I would advise just going downtown for better environment and service since the price and door price are the same already.

I really enjoyed this bar! I'm new to Denver and I've been looking for a laid back drama free atmosphere out here and we finally found the spot. Even though my friend and I were the youngest ones there at age 30. I was happy to go to a place with good vibes and no fighting. I even loved the cougars that were there! It is better on Saturday than Fri but it is mostly very old old chubby women wearing clothes I wouldn't even wear and younger guys trying to find a sugar momma. Weirdest thing I have ever experienced. There are decent people there rarely too just VERY VERY few. The club itself is cool. I love the layout, and the videos but the crowd is not my style.
