AMAZING! Had the Elk Meatloaf and was completely satisfied, it has a really nice slight game to it and is soft and scrumptious with s delicious sauce on top that is a tomatoey sweet with hint of BBQ served with some veggies and smashed taters AND a green salad.

The staff was great but the food was horrible. My husband and I ate here for a supper. He had the bestro filet and it tasted nasty, there wasn't any seasoning and it tasty like some type of beer. it was over powering. The green beans were so spicy we couldn't eat them. I had the BLT and the bacon was really greasy and it soaked into the bread,so all I tasted was bacon grease. The onion rings were hard as a rock and tasted pretty bad too.

Monroe's is a nicely sized place with plenty of seating at the bar and at tables. There was live piano music at a volume that made conversation easy between my date and I as we were seated at the bar. The bartender was attentive and the bar seemed well stocked with local brews and liquors. My date's drink was well made and my local brew was tasty. We will visit there again.

We checked into the hotel this restaurant is part of planning to go to their happy hour at 4pm. However when we arrived there at 4:30pm they said they couldn't serve because their computer system was down but they were sure it would be only another 10 or 15 minutes. After waiting a half hour, when they still couldn't serve, we changed our plans and went else where. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't temporarily use the old pen and paper back-up system and then catch up on entries once the system was working. I guess they didn't really need any sales that day.

Some of the nicest staff that you will ever meet in a hotel restaurant. They have live music some nights, and karaoke on Saturday nights beginning at 9. Check out their website for more information on entertainment and specials. This IS pretty close to what people expect in a public lounge these days. You can order a delicious meal prepared in the hotel's kitchen, or snack food. You can order drinks from a table, or sit at the bar. They have several large screen TVs as well as a couple of smaller ones at the bar, where you can watch the games. If you are staying at the hotel and don't feel like going out for dinner, you owe it to yourself to stop by and see the menu.

Came in at 8:30 weary and starving from the road after checking into our hotel room. Sign at the door said seat yourself. We waited 30 mins were never greeted. Wait staff spent the whole thirty minutes talking to a large top. None of the tables were bussed, had to sit at a dirty table. Really was looking forward to some of the unique food. Walked out and went to nordy's instead. This not at all a restaurant and just a bar.

Absolute worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. Made reservations for our 9 year old daughter, my wife and I for 7pm on Valentine's Day. Showed up approximately 5-10 minutes early and we were seated immediately. And that ends our evening with this restaurant. 25 minutes later of sitting there and not even so much as getting eye contact from anybody working in the restaurant we decided to leave. The gentleman at the table next to us had to get up twice from his dinner to go get more drinks. I would understand the slow service had the place been busy, but nope, only 1/2 to 3/4 full and its small. Way to ruin Valentine's.. Never going back. Too bad as it looked like a cute place.

Monroe's is a hidden gem. My wife and myself has lived in Loveland now for about 6 years and we love eating out in new, different and unique restaurants in our area. For some reason, we always forget about Monroe's. That's because it's in the Best Western Plus off of Hwy 34 and I-25. So this past Saturday night after I got off from work, I suggested that we go out and try Monroe's for the 1st time. We knew they usually had nightly specials. Saturday was Surf & Turf Night. Plus, it was Karaoke Night. When we arrived, all you had to do is walk into the front door of the Best Western Plus and the entrance for Monroe's is directly to the right. Once inside we noticed the atmosphere was a cozy, pleasant and elegant. There was a gentleman playing a guitar and singing some nice relaxing music. Even though you'll have to seat yourself. We were greeted and welcomed as soon as we sat down. We were explained the nights specials and drinks. Our Waitress/Server Tammie was very knowledgeable of the menu and what it offers. We asked about several items and entrees on the menu and she gave us some good suggestions. So, my wife got the Saturday Surf & Turf Special (which comes with a 8oz Ribeye & 4oz Lobster Tail) She choose sauteed asparagus and their House made Beer Cheese Soup as her 2 sides. And I got the Colorado Ribeye, it's a 12oz USDA Choice Steak topped with blue cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms and veggies. I choose the sauteed green beans and the house made Chili with no beans. While we waited for our main course, my wife ordered the Bacon Bloody Mary and I ordered the Lush Life drinks. They were quite tasty and "On Hit". Kudo's to Matt, our Bartender. Then came out our soups. Oh My Goodness! The Beer Cheese Soup and the Chili was "Da Bomb Diggity Delicious"! WOW! We would order those next time as a main course with we could in bigger bowls. We couldn't stop raving over them. Also while I was waiting for our entrees after I finished my Lush Life Cocktail, I order a tall Colorado Bull Dog. Yep! Yep! It was "YUM-O"! Then behold, our entrees came out. Oh My! They looked and smelled delicious. The Surf & Turf was done on que. My Colorado Steak was looking good, until I started cutting into it. There was a lil to much fat/marbling than I expected. So Duane the Executive Chef came out and explained the situation, then He suggested that he cook me another Ribeye Steak. We had a long conversation and he's quite humbling in what he does there at Monroe's. And "OH YEAH" it came out "Perfecto"! We both enjoyed our meals and had a good time. We were there long enough to have the Whiskey Wiggle Cake, while we watched and listen to all the folks that sung for Karaoke. Overall, it was a wonderful outstanding very delicious experience. And we will be back and recommend everyone to go out and indulge themselves there @ Monroe's.

I keep hoping this very nice looking lounge will do well, but we are regularly disappointed! The piano player didn't play as much as he talked. Bar tender needed help figuring out how to make a drink. Lots of fried foods and very overpriced watered down drinks for the lack of everything else. We will wait another couple of years, then try again........maybe.

This is one of the hidden food gems of Loveland. With a high quality selection of prime rib Fridays and surf and turf Saturdays, you'll feel like you're at a high class restaurant for a reasonable price. They have trivia Wednesdays, piano bar Fridays, and karaoke Saturdays, so you can almost always find fun happening while you enjoy amazing drink specials. As a plus, they're attached to a top end Best Western, so if you feel you've had a few too many, they'll always have a room or a way to get you where you need to go.

I've been a consistent patron for many yrs.,about 10-12.The staff seems to be friendly and professional most of the time.When there have been changes in personal and menu items,staff appears to be a bit stressed @ times,but this is normal and to be expected in this type of work environment.I'm happy that new ideas come in and out to.make this a more exciting place and a change is always a good thing.I'm glad that I still look forward to coming here and it has to do with team work,organization and new ideas.Thank you for serving me and being an open and friendly place to meet people or hang out alone.

Monroe's Lounge offers a great meeting spot. They have a good offering of local brews and good bartenders to mix you a cocktail. Monroes offers a decent happy hour and sometimes offers free food during their happy hour. Food is pretty decent. Service is friendly

don't waste your money on game or prime meat! game meat ill prepared and even more poorly cooked, rib eye unflavorfull, and fatty area unhindered and inedible. and as for cocktails see or ask how old the bottle is, some have been on shelf for months ( my hopeful thought) and lack the flavor your used to. I am extremely disappointed, over the past 4 years I spent 60 days here. hotel upgrades awesome but change in menu at Monroe's and quality of food and drink sucks! bartenders work to keep you happy and almost make up for it! ..... sorry girls

We made reservations for prime rib night and for whatever reason was never recorded. For this they also ran out of prime rib before we sat down. Super frustrated we were going to leave gracefully then the manager and head chef both approached our table. They went above and beyond to ensure not only that we stayed to enjoy their food, music, and atmosphere but also that we would come back again! I'm a big steak guy and have to admit the steak was prepared exactly to my request and tasted great with minimal to no seasoning. Outstanding customer service!!!! This negative initial experience has turned into a return customer without a doubt.
