Here you will be able to see the opinions of real people like you who are using the services of El Chapultepec (Night Club) in the area close to the state of Colorado.
Nowadays this firm gets a score of 4.4 out of 5 and that rating is based on 328 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is quite high, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the evaluation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to place opinions when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Night Club is included in the category of Bar.
Great music and chili. Can't beat the authenticity here.
BEWARE of this establishment. We were involved in an incident there a couple weeks back with their staff and filed police reports when my brother was sent to hospital. Detectives say cameras were unplugged as the incident was transpiring. Talk about shady. And that tells me this isnt the first time they've done this.
A favorite pre ball game stop
One of the oldest bars in the city right next to Coors Field.
Historic music venue of late Denver mobster Jerry krantz
My sister and I came to Denver to celebrate my birthday and we were told about this place. AWESOME!!!!!
Totally thought this place was a restaurant from the outside. Didn't expect it to be a bar, but I'm glad we wandered in! The green chile stew was insanely delicious, it completely turned my day around. The gentleman that worked behind the bar was really friendly. The historic atmosphere of the bar was really unexpected, but very cool. Basically, I should have looked this place up before we went there, but I'm glad I didn't because there aren't many hidden gems like this left in downtown Denver.
Ross is my favorite bartender there.
The green chili stew as remarkable. The band was excellent, the crowd was friendly and the staff was the best!
I really enjoyed it! I didn't stay super long because nothing was really going on and I was by myself, but I liked it. I was in a booth just past the door by the bar. It has that sort of dive bar feel, but it was comfortable. There were 4 other people and the bar tender, who was really nice. This was also at 1.30 on a Sunday afternoon. I really liked all the photos of the jazz musicians. One was Bill Clinton and one of the people that was at the bar was there when Bill Clinton was! I had a smothered burrito and it was really good. Smaller than I expected, but not in a bad way. It came on a Styrofoam plate and reminded me of something made at home (which I like). If anyone knows the Chowhound in Green River, Utah the burrito reminded me of a smothered version of one of their soft tacos (and I have a soft spot for those). I also thought the price was really good. No frills, no BS, plain and simple. And I really like that. So if you're expecting frills or something you'd get at another restaurant, you're gonna be disappointed (unless it's Chowhound). Also forgot to add, CASH ONLY. They have an ATM! Another thing is I'm not from here, so I'm unfamiliar with Denver (and really just cities in general) but there is a parking lot like a block away, and various other lots and garages for parking. The lots you had to pay for, but like I said I rolled in at 1.30 and had my spot until 7pm and it cost 6 bucks. I didn't stay nearly that long but I figured that was pretty decent and got me close.
Nice dive bar.
This place was great. Cash only bar with some amazing music that start around 9pm. I enjoyed every moment of it. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.
The music is great but the bouncer cooks the food and unless your drunk you wont be able to get past the smell of the place.
This place is absolutely disgusting. I watched the cooked make my food with no gloves, it’s very disgusting. They gave me a menu with old salsa on it, they don’t wipe anything down, the furniture is torn up. Etc. I could go on all day, and I walked in here with confidence. The health department needs to make a visit
There's a photo of Buddy de Franco on the wall. Automatic 10 stars.
Great trough!!! 10 out of 10!
Very friendly bar! Everyone in there turned and smiled as we entered, bartender was very friendly
Good eats for a dive bar, really simple drink menu and beer selection. The bartender Loyd was attentive and friendly. Walked in on a layover and was treated to live jazz from a five peice band that was workin it well.
Awesome little dive bar in Lodo...cash only. Every time I've gone I've had a blast. Loud, busy, homey and grungy, just the way I like it! Great live music.
Love coming here! Always have great live music and you're not waiting forever to get drinks unlike a lot of the other spots around
Where’d the Coors guys go??? Awesome job Ashley!!!
This place is a classic. Last night was a little different in that the band was not in any way a Jazz or Blues band. It was a good band but felt weird hearing Irish jigs. As always, a good time was had and the crowd was way less teenaged than anywhere else around there.
I have been coming to the Pec for years ever since I came here in the mid 90’s for a history of jazz assignment in college. It’s a Denver original. I still like the burritos here, too.
We had a great time here. Know going in that you're getting no-frills food on paper plates. Your expectations should be realistic going in. That said, great live jazz, attentive service, and an all-around great time. My friend hasn't shut up about this place since we went. It was a big hit!
Bring cash. Drink heavy
This is the best jazz club in Denver. Amazing acts have been playing here since prohibition, and I have enjoyed this place since I was 21 years old!
Best music around
Food is meh, beer is all right
The place was packed! They had a great band and friendly bar tenders. All in all a happy place
Second favorite bar in denver.
Fun little bar, close to Coors Field. If you want to drink with the locals, drink here.
Pretty neat little dive bar. Definitely has an old-school Denver vibe. Not much interior space, which makes it great fun for a date or a couple drinks while you kill time. Not at all pretentious or upscale, looks like a good place for a rip-roaring good time!
This place has incredible music and that's it. Paid $5 for a Budweiser $6 for a well drink with zero alcohol in it. Think dive bar but dirtier than that. Did I mention the band was amazing.
Awesome bar, and amazing band playing last night. Would def recommend for Jazz lovers!!
Tacos looked great but they were cold, and we had to wait 30 mina to get them.
The food was great for a quick bite!
Great live music!
One of the most relaxed bars I've been to in Denver. The blues and jazz has never disappointed.
Great band and great stop in Denver.
The best in authentic jazz and blues in Denver. Go there to groove on the music. A juke joint like atmosphere.
Hey, it's a Denver landmark and a must-see if you love dive bars and jazz music. Loved the waitstaff here, they made us feel welcomed. :)
If you're in Denver on a Sunday night, this is the only place to be. The regular Sunday night combo - The Tony Black Summit - could go head to head with anything you'd find in New York City. Dive bar atmosphere but the music is first class!
A diamond in the rough. If you love dive bars, like I do, you'll love this place. Cheap drafts, great service and ice in the urinal trough.
I'm a pianist. I've been here one time and played so people f I'm outside came to hear the music. 1 month later after paying 150.00 tab when only 2 guess s were in the establishment the bartender, a short Latina woman denied me the right to play the piano. Now I'm concert trained why be a scrooge?
Great live music + drinks
INCREDIBLE! Local bar with live jazz. Live musicians are volunteers from the audience. First time I've heard a harmonica solo.
Kind of a dive, cash only but the music and people are nice
Great vibe. Real life ...
Best bar in Denver if you like dives
I love this old bar! Super divey with great drink prices. The side with the pool table looks like an old 50s milkshake shop. Very cool
One of the best dives in the city. Cheap drinks, good live music and staff. Good place to hang anytime of day or night.
Great live music, affordable drinks, and good service. Just remember to bring cash!!
Some of the BEST Jazz and Blues you will hear! All the way from the 50s too!!!
Fun times! Remember your cash!
Love this bar! Where else can you get jazz music with your cheap burritos? The vibe here is awesome. Tight knit crowd to spend a night with. Definitely worth coming in.
Awesome music and people!
The history here is amazing. Great food. Great drinks. Great people
Nice low-key jazz spot
Still a great old jazz bar
Music was fun, crowd was eclectic and having a great time, drinks were good.
The bean burritos were excellent but it is for adults only.
Best non-corporate vibe in lodo. Great LIVE entertainment for free. Staff is the best.
Most fun bar in Denver
I've never been to Denver before, but I want to come back just to kick it here. Cool staff, solid drinks (I had that dried thing), great live music, and the peoples were getting down. Small spot, but perfect.
Cool history, awesome band, good drinks, but could use a few more fans to cool the place off a bit. Glad we found this place!
Fave dive jazz in Denver. Always a good time
Cool place lots of character.
The daytime bartender is a nightmare. He is so rude this is my second time seeing him. Just an angry person. It's too bad cuz I took some friends in here to show them a landmark while they were visiting Denver and they were shocked by how rude he was.
Jazzy Great Smothered Burritos!!
I love this place ,the music is always amazing
A historic Kerouac / Cassady hang out with outstanding music and outstanding mexican food.
Freddy Rodriguez Sr & Jr....outstanding!
Just plan fun!
Always great music & vibe
Fun place that takes cash only! Blues jam on Monday, jazz T-Th, blues bands F&S, Tony Summit Trio on Sunday.
Very aggreably priced drinks for how central in the city it is, live jazz was a delight to hear.
Nice music, good shots
This place is so fun! The staff is friendly and the drinks are affordable. We ran into this place by accident on a Wednesday. I'm glad we did! The live jazz band they have playing is so cool!
Love love love...away from the fracas of tourists, amongst the soothing notes of Amazing Grace hammered into you from a local jazz band, sipping cheap drinks and munching Mexican treats. Remembering the artists that have frequented the joint for over 80 years. Total bliss.
This was the second stop on my Jack Kerouac Denver bar crawl. Apparently he and Allen Ginsberg hung out here for the music and because there was no cover. If you enjoyed the jazz descriptions in On The Road you need to stop in and experience El Chapultepec. These "cats" are still blowing their horns. I'm a baseball fan but I left a game early to come back to this jazz bar.
I was told it is now the oldest still open for business jazz bar in the world ! That's a very cool fun fact ! The vibe of the bar solidifies that hands down. On Monday nights David Booker (Just some guy who opened for Robert Cray back in the day) hosts a blues jam starting at 8:30 pm ! I always try and be there along with some other cool cats who love playing the blues for you ! So come on down and let Lloyd and Rachelle get you loosened up for some good ole fashioned best experienced live kinda music that is inspired by raw heart felt emotion !
Tasty drinks and fun atmosphere!!
Classic jazz hole in the wall bar in Lodo.
Great jazz. Cash only.
Good music and fair prices on drinks and food.
In terms of food, don't expect much..it's a bar...
Very authentic mexican food and very tasty drinks.
Cool atmosphere and perfect place if you’re looking for a dive bar.
Great dive bar, with live jazz music.
Ross is the best, great music on a Sunday night.
Great blues bands playing in this Cash only bar
Wow, great music. Cool crowd.
I was assaulted at this establishment, went to hospital, filed police report an only to find out from detective that the cameras were unplugged during me being assaulted. This is very concerning. People please BEWARE lots of racism floating around in that atmosphere. Mr. Lloyd Raven & Mateo Moody are clowns. Thankfully they will have to answer to someone with much more power than I someday!
Cheap drinks, great atmosphere and good live music. The music we heard wasn't that great, but I still was in to the whole ambiance of the bar. Friendly enough staff. The set up for the pool table leaves a bit to be desired though as whenever you're going for a shot you're almost always in danger of hitting someone.
Classic old Denver dive bar, they dont make bars like bars like this anymore. There is always great funk, blues or jazz bands
I like this little bar!
A must see little corner of the world. Must have been something back in the day.
Great place for live music dancing great drinks and the staff are funny and friendly.
