MY EXPERIENCE WAS BEYOND HORRIBLE WITH THIS RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. I VISITED LA ALL THE WAY FROM BALTIMORE, MD ONLY TO TRY AND HAVE A FUN EVENING, SINCE THIS SO CALLED ESTABLISHMENT WAS REFERRED TO ME, ONLY TO BE TREATED LIKE I WAS LESS THAN HUMAN. THE SO CALLED MANAGER, RAFII, DID NOT LET ME AND MY FAMILY IN BECAUSE WE ARE BLACK. WHENI ASKED WHY WE COULDNT GET IN, HIS RESPONSE WAS " WE ARE SELECTIVE IN WHO WE LET IN HERE AFTER CERTAIB HOURS". I THEN LOOKED IN THROUGH THE DOOR AND I DID NOT SEE ONE BLACK PERSON IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I FELT LIKE ALL THE GOOD I DO IN THE WORLD WAS JUST SMACKED IN MY FACE WITH IGNORANCE, RACISM AND DESCRIMINATION. I WOULD NEVER VISIT,REFER OR EVEN MENTION THIS BAR IN A POSITIVE MANNER FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE.

I love love love this place! This was my first stop when I first turned 21 and I love it! They have a really good DJ and their drinks are good too. The bartenders are awesome! I've came here for multiple occasions and each one was so much fun. Honestly, one of the best spots in downtown L.A for a night out.

So my bf goes here alot for lunch and knows the manager he is nice and funny and it happened to be the first time Ive been here my bf took me here I loved it already because around the night they dime the lights in the restaurant which makes the place feel awesome! (or its just me because I love the dark).The food here is delicious I never ever had a juicy burger in my life and homemade fries. The burger and fries were the bomb! This place is a must visit not only because of the food but its a bar/restaurant were the atmosphere feels like your just at home!

Event: Saturday Club Night My friends made the mistake that most people make. "Meet at Seven Grand." And there they were in line for Seven Bar. There was an abundance of loud music at both places, but one thing for sure was that the line for Seven Grand was a stagnant halt for 20+ minutes (didn't stick around to see how long it would ultimately take), while the Seven Bar line took us in within 10. There was no cover, which was surprising, because once we were inside it was a definite club scene complete with cramp shoulder-to-shoulder, and flashlight-in-your-face clear the pathway. Music was hip hop, cluby, and everything with a bass beat that makes a room bump. Dance floor was totally happening with my large 20+ group, couples scattered, like 2 girl groups, and a bunch of guys standing around at the edges looking in (cluby definitely). Drinks were priced high for a bar, but lower than a Hollywood club. A Red Bull Vodka cost $12 which would be a couple bucks more elsewhere club. Plenty of vodka in there, so the alcohol wasn't skimped. Not a bad spot for a club itch without the high profile, table service requirement.

"Little hole in the wall" is precisely describing this place. Came for their lunch time which was crowded. We put our name and phone number on their waiting list and they texted the update of our table. After about 35-40 mins, we got our table. The service was good. Friendly and attentive. The food were tasty. Ramen is definitely recommended. I definitely would come back.

Nice looking bar from the exterior. Inside is nice warm ambience. However table was not clean, staff did not clean , wipe table. As a client you have to start a tab, no option to pay as you drink, unless you pay cash. Speciality drinks fabricated by house are not the best, stick with the classic recipes. Overall nice place to be with friends. Try not to use the restroom, staff should visit and clean more regularly.

Had a great night dancing at Seven Bar Lounge. Bouncer waived the door fee because it was my birthday. Love that they still play old school hip hop and not just endless EDM like so many places now. There's even a separate floor for the bar and lounging so you can actually talk to people. Love everything about this joint and am so glad this exists in the CA!

No cover which is good. It can get packed on certain nights and the layout of the lounge area can make it difficult to get to the main bar. Also your mood can be swayed depending on who the DJ is for the night.

My go to spot after work. It just has a nice feel to it. I go there so much the security at the front knows me by name haha. This place is upscale and drink are fairly priced but then again everyone that comes here has great job in SoMa/FiDi so you can cough up a little extra for a old fashion. It's very dim inside so it takes your eyes awhile to adjust especially if it bright outside. Venue is clean and you can make reservation.

I've always walked by this place and never gave it a thought because a) it always looked empty and b) I was always on the way to Seven Grand or another bar in dtla lol. Little did I know how FUN Seven is!! I came her for a friend's birthday party and I got there around 10:45pm. The place wasn't crowded, nor was it empty. Typical bar/lounge vibe until around 11 or 11:30pm. The DJ started playing music, people started dancing and it got crowded!! That night (a Saturday) was a good mix of hip-hop music with some EDM thrown in gradually became more EDM-y. LOVED IT. Room to dance, people having a grand old time and really reasonably priced drinks. Bathrooms are a sucky situation though - one stall per gender, even the guys bathroom has a line. Snag a street parking spot if you're lucky - otherwise there's plenty of lots in a 1 block radius ranging from $5-7.

Had great night of music and dancing. Awesome atmosphere. DJ definitely on point this night. Topping off the evening was a spectacular, live performance by Rupee. I'm not sure if this is a soca club, but it definitely was this night. If you have a drop of Caribbean blood in you, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Parking is a pain in the butt, but it's downtown LA... it's what you expect.

came here a few months ago for my cousins bday. i must say this little spot is pretty cool! love the layout, drinks are reasonably priced, great good feel music! bathrooms were clean too. im not sure if there was dancing here becuz we were only there from like 9-11pm on a saturday nite, but theres plenty of room for it! i would def go back:)
