This Night Club belongs to the category of Bowling alley.
This was a fun place for our private event. The lanes were clean and functioned decently. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. It was a bit too warm though. For low key bowling I was sweating. Also some pool tables there.
Great place for lunch and a game of pool. Very few people think to come here for lunch, so it's quiet and great service. I would NEVER try to visit at night in the club atmosphere, but that's me. And I'm old. Check the dress code before you go. It's strict, and it's there for a reason. They want to prevent as altercations and keep it classy. I appreciate that.
Very cozy place to hang out and bowl or play pool. The food is bar food but very tasty and better than expected. The staff is great and friendly. I was here for a work event but will be back for personal now!
Had a blast! We ordered off the Happy Hour menu. The Waffle and Wings were interesting. Overall enjoyed everything...customer service, ambiance, food and the bowling.
So much fun with the work crew.
Food was good. They had pool tables and a bowling alley. Great place to hang out.
It's fun
There is a gentlemen at the door that checks ID and checks your dress code (semi-casual). Music was pretty good. There's a couple pool tables, seems like a nice place to hang out and relax with some friends. However, my friend and I went here to go only to go bowling. Fair warning this place has like six lanes and the wait time was going to be 45 minutes. My suggestion, RSVP before you get here, and reserve a lane.
I always enjoy myself here. Sometimes I bowl, or play pool...but I love to watch the live band and have a few drinks on Sunday evenings inside Gypsy.
My work had out Christmas party here. I have to say I was very impressed. This place is big ! And beautifully decorated. Friendly staff, great food choices, and drinks. Would say the bar is a bit poorly stocked and the seating is very low to the ground which was very hard on my knees... Felt like I was doing squats all night lol there is no smoking area which was a bummer. The private party area was nice and big which was a huge plus considering we had about 50 people there. They have bowling and pool tables. The bathrooms were nice and clean and well stocked. Parking a bit hard to find but they do validate parking so that you get 1/2 off parking!!
Fun place for group events or date night. Great great service.
Enjoyed myself, atmosphere was very chill, drinks and Awesome was great
Best place for bowling in Phoenix downtown
Im new to Arizona,so my family took me bowling/ dancing. This place was amazing. There's a young man that helped us out a lot I think his name is "Maxo". Lucky Strike was awsome! Looking forward to my next visit. Also, the BBQ pizza was yummy!
Nice place to hang. Drinks/food a little pricey but what can you expect for downtown. Only downside was it was very warm inside which made it really uncomfortable to just enjoy our time there. Didn't stay long after 2 games because we needed air! Hopefully it was a one time issue..
Expensive, bowling is 6$ a game per person, drinks are 14 dollars a drink, the lanes aren't maintenanced that often, I wouldn't return unless someone really wants this over amf
Super fun. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We got a great deal on bowling and the vibe is great on a friday night
Pretty standard Lucky Strike. Had trouble with the lanes, although staff did try to help. A large event was going on while we were there which minimized ball availability.
Very unique. Super fun
I love this place, bowling is my fave
Their gluten free pizza is AMAZEballs
I had a great time here. I would definitely recommend a visit with family and friends.
The waitress made us very happy with delicious margaritas
Love this place almost as much as the company ❤️
We went bowling and had a great time. The building was clean, and the lanes and equipment were well maintained. We ordered several appetizers and they were all good. The staff was friendly for the most part.
We came in on a Sunday afternoon and were treated to happy hour prices and cheap bowling. Pretty much had the place to ourselves and got great one-on-one service. Everyone had a great time.
Awesome date night
Fun but had bad smell by dance club area
This was the venue for our conference (PLDI 2019) and it was woefully inadequate. One table of food for hundreds of people. Waited 1:15 to get to the front of the line and most of it had run out. Too crowded. They must overestimate how many people they can host.
The place is dead. Only about 1/2 lanes are occupied. They're charging $50 an hour?? No wonder the place is empty. The "arcade" is a disappointing mix of an air hockey game with no air pressure and basketball games with deflated balls. Maybe it's more fun with more than 2 people. But it's pretty stinky for a date night.
They have the driest lanes I’ve ever bowled on. If you spin the ball you’ll bowl poorly. They’re about vibe not lane maintenance.
So much fun! By far the nicest bowling alley I've ever been to. I definetly recommend!
Staff was courteous, appetizer are good. Enjoyed the music and I would highly recommend to friends and family. I really had a nice time.
Very warm in the building and the server dropped a drink on my friend. Did not offer to get a towel or anything.
Just went into this place at 12:40pm to play a game and eat. The young black man at the desk was courteous when I asked him for a menu. The white elder female standing to his right asked me what I wanted before I could even see the menu. I told her, once I see the menu I will tell her, she continued to argue with me saying " we have alot of different items, that's why I'm asking", and she flicked her wig and walked off with an attitude. Just a nasty, rude, disgusting person she is. Her high iq couldn't tell her to allow the customer to review the menu. I put the menu down, as i don't want her to handle my food, and left. I will never spend my money at a place with staff like her. Dave n Buster's offers better, friendly service than this place.
Nice place. Courteous staff. Lots to do. However it is dark over the bowling lane so you can't see the markers down the lane.
It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy with you friends, a nice date or just to stop by with your co-workers! I had a chance of stoping by with my co-workers and celebrate, definitely a great spot! The food is great! They have some healthy items in the menu that taste wonderful!! And obviously the more normal stuff, you can play pool, bowling even hit a little arcade section with a giant Jenga! They are connected with a bar and small nightclub, honestly I was there just for the food and bowling and it was a truly enjoyable day! If you happen to be around downtown and looking for a quick bowling game, or sometime at the pool table this will be one the best spots you can’t stop at! The Music is a huge plus at Lucky Strike Phoenix, great selection and it’s not to loud so you can have a good conversation!
Good time with good friends. Large portions of food and the service was on point.
I threw a bday celebration for my partner recently and everything turned out better than what I thought it would. Super smooth. Everyone had an great time. The food was delicious and impressive. Our server Tyler was on point! Bill three manager was hospitable and Sabrina in sales was friendly. You pay for what you get. This place is memorable!
6 lanes, a little humid, but great location for a date
I was there as part of a team-building exercise. It was a fun time, but I think they need to pay attention to some of the details. The vinyl on a few of the couch arms was split open and there were stains on a lot of the other seating. One of the gutters in Lane 1 had a break in it, resulting in balls getting stuck - though perhaps that was their idea of motivation to not throw a gutter ball. If they take care of the place, it would really round out the experience. As it is, I won the game on my lane with an impressive 117.
Decent bar with free entry, bowling is too pricy.
Happy hour got totally redone & the prices suck..... Not happy hour prices. Bring back old hai happy hour!
No one really was playing because it wasnt cist effective. And the billards where 12 dollars an hour?? Why they charge so much beats the heck out of me?? And the drinks atvthe ajioning bar omg super small and weak. If i pay top dollar for top shelf I want it to be a real drink!!
What a wonderful experience! It doesn't get anymore American than combining the elegance and quality of fine dining along with bowling a few strings. Lucky Strike offered us an excellent selection of options for lunch. Grilled chicken, superb greens, appetizers, and ice cream to wrap up the meal. Over the course of 3 hours, lunch and drinks were provided and 2 very friendly strings of bowling took place. Lucky Strike takes the sport of Bowling and successfully unites an American pastime with the elegance of fine dining. If you are looking for a unique experiemce, Lucky Strike located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, AZ, will surpass all expectations!
Prices were steep and the food wasn't that great either. Overall fine if you don't mind spending a lot of money just for atmosphere, which admittedly WAS nice.
Weird happy hour. They over charged my friend for her marguerita but they fixed it. We had a party deal. They would not let us have happy hour prices and the party pass that's fine but they should have said something in advance
It feels like some of the glitz and glamour have started to fade. The place is popular with groups of people who don't know downtown very well, groups of after hours business folks, birthday parties from Glendale or West Phoenix, that kind of thing. I don't foresee ever going back, it just didn't set itself apart enough for me. That said, I don't wear large watches, Calvin Klein cologne, necklaces on the outside of my shirt, or do shots, so, I'm not the target market.
Cool place downtown. Food is pretty good and service is fine. Something to do downtown. Lanes were very oily.
Cool vibe, great food and music. Service is excellent.
Awesome service. Food not good though. Drinks are ok. Beautiful venue.
The atmosphere is great. Friendly service and reasonably priced for our group. We celebrated the Holidays as a team here and everyone walked away with a smile. The staff is very attentive.
Super fun with like 5 beers ! You know cuz bowling n stuff!
Nothing amazing really. Basically an "upscale" bowling alley on one side and a club on the other. The prices weren't bad or anything, so it's worth stopping in if you have some time to kill.
Delicious food and fun place! Great staff! ♡
Fun...however the the rental shoes STUNK LIKE SOUR FEET!
Its a great bowling courteous staff it is on central downtown so it is ritzy great place for a nice date night.
This place has a lot of games to play and is pretty well priced. However it was really pretty dark on the lanes which made it hard to bowl. It is definitely more of a party place then a normal bowling alley.
The bowling is nice, food pretty good too.
Love this Place Never a Dull night
Really nice bowling alley for parties and events. Also has a very nice bar.
I little warm. I little dark to see to bowl. I had a great time. The appetizers were ok They did have a pitcher of ice water to drink some I was happy. Had a great time.
awesome place with amazing service
Fun time! All the restaurants and bars had crazy wait times, almost 2 hrs, the night of Billy Joel concert. We tried the bowling alley and not only did they open the second bar to accommodate us, they made really good food. They were really busy too. We tried califlour crust meat pizza and liked it, I'll eat that again. The bowling alley looked fun and there is also pool tables and a dance & dj area. The bartenders were also friendly.
Take 3 people, go to the bar and order nachos!
My family and I go bowling every once in awhile. This was the first time we visited Lucky Strike. I wasn't really impressed when we walked in. It's dark in there, the seating arrangements make it difficult because you have to climb over other bowlers just to go up to take your turn and it's a lit more pricey than other bowling alleys throughout the valley. The food was pretty good.
Good atmosphere, fun for groups. Food is mediocre at best. If you enjoy bowling, great alternative to normal cheesey bowling alleys.
Fun atmosphere but a little pricey for bowling and drinks.
Food is great especially grilled Great staff and hostess Many games to play
There can only be one! Nice job Lucky Strikes!
This was a blast. My company took Management employees out for team building. We had a blast bowling, playing pool and just having a blast with each other. Staff was very friendly and kept the appetizers coming. Plenty of drinks and water and just a real enjoyable time. Parking was the only issue because of so much construction around the whole block it seemed. The place itself was awesome.
It's kick back bowling alley drink for adults only. No kids tight
Great atmosphere! I discovered I'm not as good at bowling or pool as I used to be, but the services was great!
All that truly matters is i beat my girlfriend bowling here. After she went on and ON about being awesome. Truth be told its a neat idea could use some updating, Mainly with the furniture. Would say its a great date spot
Great bowling and bar. The food comes in very large portions! Worth every penny. Club plays great music all night too!
Great food and great times
Such a great atmosphere. Cool, attentive staff. Great drinks and food!
We went here for a party and had a great time. It is a clean place with great food and fun things to do. Besides bowling you can play pool or hang out at the bar with friends. If you go down the steps there is a dance floor and another bar. This is a great place to just hang out with your friends and have a good time.
Such a hidden jewel in downtown Phoenix. Loved the atmosphere and food. The cauliflower crust pizza was excellent!
The atmosphere here is good - not your average bowling alley. Cost is also good for downtown Phoenix. Our lane kept shutting down or not resetting pins correctly; staff were attentive and fixed right away. Overall, a great bowling alley with a modern and upbeat feel!
Very accommodating and he food is excellent and reasonable.
Bartender was amazing! The gentleman that was running the shoes and games was on point but we needed more A/c
It's small and a lil over priced
The service here is always great! The minute you walk in your greeted. The bar prices aren't bad for it being downtown. The bowling lanes are nice and always clean. A little on the pricey side to bowl but a good place to fellowship.
An amazing night was had during a corporate event. The bowling and video games are top notch - but it was the food that was the biggest surprise. The drinks and service were amazing as well. As far as apps, try the cheese tots as they’re next level for sure! Go have some fun at the lanes!
A real nice place I would love to have my birthday party there real fancy there's like five bars in there right next door to the Gypsy Bar bartenders are really nice the mixed drinks are delicious too
GREAT atmosphere! Typical bar fare and good too. Service is good and it's attached to the Gypsy Bar, do you canjust walk through and go dancing. A lot of fun!
The Filet Mignon Sliders are a must! Awesome and Tasty! I didn't want to them
