The waitress was very nice, helpful and informative about the menu BUT the cocktails were HORRIFIC. It was New Years eve and maybe no one wanted to be there and therefore didn't care. The pours were generous but the proportions were way off. I think a Baboon having a stroke could have done a better job of mixing the drinks. Sports bar style atmosphere.

Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing music. This place deserves every kudos I can give. Get the filet, you won't regret it. So juicy and tender and delicious. The staff were on it. My glass barely hit the bottom before they were right there ready with a refill. The music was great. I've never seen a 3 person band just totally kill it like they did. A nice cap to a nice day.

LOVED this place! The food was great, got a burger and the sirloin steak. Our waitress was Tracy both times we ate and she was awesome! She is extremely friendly, attentive and really makes you feel at ease like you know her. The whole staff does a wonderful job at making it a fun atmosphere. All smiles and inviting. Highly recommend!!!

Birthday Party-at JD's Lounge The staff was very attentive. The setting led out into the outside patio...Singer Blueman Mike played wonderful sets of jazz and popular dance music; they got everyone up on the dance floor. He is quite the showman...a wonderful local band that you can hear at different venues in Arizona. The hotel is stunningly decorated with several areas you can relax at for conversation or drinks. We had our own private area behind the Bar-Lounge Area. I would recommend this venue for a party or local gathering.

This lounge is at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort and they have great entertainment and probably the best popcorn around.

Terrible! I was a server myself, so I know the hustle and bustle. But the server was not attentive to our table. The drinks weren't the best, margaritas. I am not sure why this restaurant decided to put orange citrus in this drink,as a mixer? Confusing ingredient. Anyways, I ordered fish and chips for dinner. The description of it sounded great. But the presentation was a total failure. It looked like Gordon fish sticks. I would have been ashamed to offer this item.. it didn't look like a $18.00 dinner. So I sent it back, couldn't do it... The happy hour deals are so so. Overall I gave this place two stars. I have been here multiple times and each time it goes down. I think that I will not be eating here anymore.. Not worth spending my hard earned dollars... Two stars is being generous too. The owners of the place needs to send a secret shopper in to evaluate their business, this is in to good of an area to be this terrible of a joint. Be better JD's.!!!

Staff is excellent. Food is mediocre. The flank steak is like rubber. I grill flank steak at home and it never turns out rubbery and tough. The potatoe dish they served was awful and I am not a picky ester. We had a dinner meeting for our club of about 45 guests and I noticed not many ate the potato side dish. We liked the chicken dish, but it is hard to screw up chicken. The fish dish was liked by about half. The appetizers were ok. I will not be aproving for us to return.

My friends and I came here for their 21'st birthday. Our waitress, Taryn, was very rude and disregarded us as paying customers.The music was too loud and we were stole from. And it was packed. We ordered drinks and food. And a hour and a half later, our drinks had come but our food had not. 30mins later no food came. We asked the waitress how long it would be and she said there was 60 people waiting on food and she didn't know how long it would take or seemed to care. After another 30mins we asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave because we were staving. And one of us paid in cash and our waitress stole the cash and over charged us. The manager was no help. I would NOT recommend coming here. Go ANYWHERE else. If your waitress is TARYN... RUN!!!

Service wasn't good at all. We had a group of 7. Everyone's order was messed up, cold fries, one girl got charged for chicken on a salad she didn't order and stated 3x. They were out of the soup of the day. The food was eh. It didn't seem like they had any sort of system. For a hotel resort this expensive I was suprised by how horrible the service and food was.
