Food was very goo. That is what they had left, they were out of chicken and cheese. They didn't have Guinness or Kalua and the Pabst was warm, but the manager was nice enough to give us 20% off. It looks like a fun place for college kids. Super loud and lots of half naked girls.

I live in Lincoln, Nebraska. Visited AZ a few months ago & went here with my fiance! Being a Husker fan, this is the place to be on GameDay if you're a fan. Incredible atmosphere with a great purpose. Go Big Red!

Dario Favela

I'm always yave fun in this place!

catherine maynes

i love this is place, but on Saturday nights they don't play country.

Jeff Paxton

Friendly service by Emily and Ashley.

Rick Yost

The food is good. I really enjoyed my burger. They have a great stage with live music. There are plenty of TV's to watch sports.

J. K.

Fun atmosphere if you like country music. Pretty good burgers as well.

John Weber

The service is terrible!! Stopped by this place for a couple drinks. There were only about 20 people there so they weren’t busy. It took at least 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were there. We got our drinks and finished them, the bar tender never came back to see how we were doing or if we wanted another one. After waiting for way too long to pay we just left.

Rick Erdlen

Great flat iron steak. Watch the Thursday night game. Great place to hang and have a good time with friends

An Johnson

Staff is awesome! Great food

Piyush Menghani

Was waiting for a drink at the counter for more than 30 mins and nobody served us drinks

Brendan Miller

Paid alot for bottle service. Price we pre booked at was not honored. Long bathroom lines, and 99% sure the overpriced bottles were watered down. Will not be returning.

James K

My buddy talked me into coming here and I'm glad he did. The drinks are superb. The wait staff was great and the DJ rocked the place with some Doobie Brothers. Highly recommend.

Shawn Sedlacko

Enjoyed beverages but nothing too exciting on a afternoon visit with friends

Jim Potter

Quite night...but service and food excellent

bschiele1

Only giving it 1 star because I have too. Walked in, no hostess. Sat at a table for 15 minutes, workers walked by, no acknowledgment. Went to leave and hostess was posted at the entrance. Figured we’d try it again. She sat us. Waited another 10 minutes and nobody came to our table. So we left. Place wasn’t busy. Just another place trying to survive off its name/hype.

Greg Layton

#dancefloor #nightout #livemusic Great night life. Good live music, bottle reserved sections and very attractive staff.

J Kiernan

Fun place to party. Door staff were welcoming. Bar staff were good. This place made for a fun night out.

David Candiotti

Boy howdy did we have a good time. I swear we were there everyday last weekend. We couldn't get enough. The vibe was contagious you cant help but to have fun and relax. Seriously though "what the hell did I say" get on down there yourself and check it out.

Joni Wenstrom

Good food outside seating spendy though for what you get!

Steven Rankin

If you somewhat like spinach and artichoke dip go here....

Todd Johnson

Stopped in early for a few quick drinks...the place had a nice ambiance and the bartender was cool as hell

Mary O'Connor

I had fun here, because I can have fun anywhere. The staff was friendly and the food was decent, but it quickly turned into a night club and the country playlist was dropped. It's not what I expected from a country bar.... Also, if you want to dance, this isn't the place to go. There is no country dancing and the people were packed in there like sardines.

Randy Hall

Go Big Red!

Flew in for Spring Training and was told about this restaurant. Entree was decent, wings and fried pickles was great... gf ordered a side salad I had to go ask the manager for ranch due to the waitress or bar hops not getting us any after asked..... Our waitress was horrible kept up at the bar talking to the bar tender and only asked if everything was ok after we were done with our meal, at no time were we asked if we needed anything more to drink.... my gf refused for me to leave the waitress a tip and wrote an explanation on the back why it was $0 tip... we walked across the street to El Hefe and that staff was absolutely amazing I suggest spending ur time and money their instead!!!

Hontagi

Not a place for children in case anyone was wondering, they do not have any child seats. Ultimately when it comes down to the bottom line this is a bar that serves food. The atmosphere was fun, music was great (Not to loud, but loud enough to be able to hear it). Staff was very friendly, it didn't appear to be very busy but our food and drinks took a while to get to us. The manager did come to our table personally and checked on us and did bring our missing food item. I would come back, hopefully without my toddler daughter.

Mario Luciano

Nice open bar setup. Nice TV's, good music, great food. Walked in with a party of 11 people, and was sat down immediately. I would recommend to anyone.

Michael Donahue

Again I didn't go in there but it sure looks cool

My bachelorette party went to Whiskey Row Scottsdale last night - 5/4/19. Our table and VIP bottle service was booked weeks in advance and anticipation was high. We were instructed to arrive at 10. We did just that and were asked to wait 15 minutes and told that they would find us once the table was ready. We waited and watched other parties who arrived after us get seated. Had we not asked again, we likely would have never been seated. When we were finally brought over to our table, it was dirty and we had to ask to have it cleaned off. The space including the seating was filfty. The quick wipe down of the table was mediocre at best. The presention of our bottles was lackluster in comparison to the other tables around us. After getting our first round of drinks our server was no where to be found and no one came to check on us. It was next to impossible to find a staff member and not until I found the promoter and told him that we had essentially been ignored since our arrival did anyone come to over to us. It honestly felt like we were second rate customers when we had paid a premium for a VIP experience. It was far from that. Once we did start getting service, our server couldn't keep the mixers straight. Drinks were made wrong and were also spilled by the server. Instead of going to the bar to replace the drinks, she made new ones from our bottle and the incorrect orders (read premium priced liquor) went to waste. Our group made the best of the situation but the bottle service experience in no way attributed to us enjoying ourselves. It was absolutely not worth the additional cost. 10/10 would NOT recommend unless you're looking to be treated like a second class citizen at your special event.

MegaFrankie777

Country western restaurant and bar. Good Food and drinks fun atmosphere.

Donna Magaard

Casual and fun sports bar setting. Great food

james kent

First time eating there on a Sunday afternoon. My son wanted a medium burger, it was well done. I had fish n’ chips just so-so and my husband had Creole fettuccine which was good. The beers we wanted Hatch Chile was out. My son did not finish his burger it was bad. We will not be going back. Disappointed.

Lauren Salz

Was here for a bachelorette party and would definitely recommend!! The atmosphere at night is super fun. The bottle service was worth it for the chance to dance on the tables alone :)

Raeanne Richards

We had a table reserved here for a bachelorette party in May. Awesome place to eat , dinner was amazing, music was awesome! However, I did request information about keeping our booth for the remainder of the evening with no reply. When we arrived and had dinner - we were told we needed to leave the booth by a certain time as someone had paid ‘thousands ‘ for it for the night. I wondered why I wasn’t given that option when I booked the table weeks earlier. Not only were we kicked out of our booth - it was still empty by 1130 pm when we left the dance floor. All of that aside - us girls enjoyed dancing after dinner and having some more drinks.

Great Food & Great Place to have a Fun!!!

We are looking forward to spending more time here: We just had such a great experience here. Dear Dirks Bentley country fans; I have a country tip - if you are ever near Scottsdale Road and Shea BLVD stop in here:Handle Bar J What a super spectacular restaurant is this place. It is because of this restaurant I play the fiddle today. The music is extraordinary and the welcoming is heart felt. This restaurant and bar has maintained an incredible music talent and inviting atmosphere since I was 6 years old . I am 51.5 years old today. I plan to attend often and give them my support. This is one of the only places in Phoenix Arizona you can go hear live country music today. One of the band members is famous - he wrote a country hit (Me and You 'sung by Kenny Chesney - this is his career song)'; was a star in a famous country band (McBride and the Ride) is the lead guitar player for a famous country star - when he tours 'Lyle Lovett'. On top of all that I learned the drummer played for Glen Campbell . Wow, what an all star line up. They are kind and have big hearts and they love to build their family legacy of great food, wonderful hospitality and unbelievably live country music.

Mr. Boren

I never eat or drink at whiskey row, but my card seemed to have been charged from this location hahaha..

Jaspreet Kaur

The place I'd nice but the drinks are watered down

LaShawn Heard

The server Emily was extremely rude and completely blew off our table during our time at the restaurant. We spoke to the manager on duty about it and the result was 20% off of our checks. While that was a fair gesture, we simply just wanted prompt, "friendly" service, and Emily wasn't either of those. Needless to say, we won't be returning to Whiskey Row anytime soon. And if you do get the hunch to go check it out, just make sure she's not your server.

Lauren M

Came here with a group of girls for a bacholerette where a couple paid for us to have bottle service, the security did an amazing job at keeping the creepy men away from us so we could relax and have fun. The atmosphere was very fun and the dj kept the party going. We had a blast.

Shan Beer

Trivia night and happy hour were amazing!

Peapaud Persecus

One drink and out. Good décor and vibe.

Christopher Farrell

Cool spot. Good vibes compared to what's across the street and around the corner.

J T

In the center of all of the action. Music wasn't too good compared to other bars in the area but it was a fun time.

Joel Marchiando

Cool place, but pricey

Todd Borisy

We went for the trivia night and though we did not win (okay we weren't even close) we had a great time. They had some drink and appetizer specials and the top three trivia winners won some really cool prizes. A good time was had by one and all. I would definitely recommend Whiskey Row's trivia for a fun time and a night out. It never hurts to work out that muscle between your ears either. Haha

Michael Durant

Amazing Service! We were out celebrating my birthday and they treated us well. The food was fantastic and portions were huge! They made it an exceptional night for us. Food is a little bit pricey but definitely worth it. I would recommend Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row to everyone. Great staff. Great Experience. I'm definitely coming back here again!

Phillip Castillo

Environment and employees are amazing. Needs better music/song choices.

Laura F. Moore

Great place, especially if you like line dancing.

Joyce King

Picked up an order for uber eats

Amanda Oettli

We left in tears. This was how it started... We had a reservation for 7:30. Upon arrival the line outside to get in was long- we asked the employee out front and he pointed to the back of the line. Finally- I went up to the roped area and explained we had a reservation and the men let us in. After getting seated we all ordered drinks and appetizers-before the drinks came out our waitress came over to take our orders- we needed a moment to look at the menu as we were a large party of 10. The waitress said, with a smile, no problem I’ll be back in a few minutes. About 45 seconds later a man came up to our table and very assertively explained to us that 1. We were already late showing up for our reservation and 2. The kitchen closes at 8 and if we don’t get our order in when our waitress comes back over we won’t be eating... We ordered our meals and continued ordering drinks. We were having a wonderful evening, drinking, visiting, and soaking in the atmosphere. The same man as previously mentioned came to the table on my side and said right in my face that we were taking too long eating and needed to hurry and leave because the table was booked for 9:00. ( why would you book a party of ten for one hour and a half anyway?) I tried explaining to the man that we were still eating and he began getting louder and louder. I’m not sure why he was hovering above my head and yelling - but I did ask him to calm down, take a step back and we could speak about the problem rationally- I said that everyone at the table was working professionals and that we would like to stay and get dessert and finish our meals - he just continued yelling at me. My friend next to me saw the situation and began to try and see what she could do and he just kept telling us we were leaving. I was so frustrated and insulted. I then told the man that I felt like he was harassing me and he smiled and began to laugh. (This was when my dear sweet friend became tearful) Our table was cleared, my Mac and cheese taken away, and my drink gone. This very mean man then went around the table and handed the check to a male member of our group to settle up. I believe that I was treated poorly because I of my gender. I believe that this mans tone, volume, demeanor, and the fact that he was standing over me were harassment. If this man would have chosen kindness over arrogance in explaining the situation we would have gladly paid a bottle fee for the table- and easily would have spent a few thousand dollars in drinks. (did I mention we were surrounded by empty tables the entire time?) We, as a group of professionals, travel to Arizona frequently and will not go back to this establishment in the future. I hope the mean man reads this review and feels sad that he made two nice middle- aged moms cry. I’m going to go back to my classroom on Monday and I’m going to share in our Weekly News how important it is to have communication skills, greet people with a smile, look people in the eye when speaking, listen, and most importantly treat others how you wish to be treated. I’m also sending this review to Dirks Bentley via mail and by social media so he can be made aware of how is businesses are being managed and his name represented. I have two reasons for sharing this review- if you are still reading it- 1. I hope that this mean man, Rudy, seriously reflects upon his behavior and asks himself if he is happy at his job. Having a job is a privilege not a right and I hope that he finds something that shifts his negativity - because he needs an old fashioned “attitude adjustment” 2. I would like to be refunded for my meal and drink that was taken away I don’t think we should have to pay for what took place that night.

Dan Parkent

Definitely not as hype or impressive as I expected. Country themed, music blaring, jam packed, and kinda small.

Bas Hoe

Update: The manager did everything which was reasonable within reality to compensate. It's not about the money but about the fact that he put effort in rectifying. Great service and I'm sure it won't happen again. First time we ordered a beer, it was around 18 dollars for three beers which is a good price. The next day the prices went up to almost 30 dollars for three beers. After a week of expensive fun, we found out that they overcharged us every time. We asked a local who paid half the price. As soon as they hear a foreign accent, they almost double it. Pretty sad because the atmosphere is good! Update: The manager did everything which was reasonable within reality to compensate. Great service and I'm sure it won't happen again.

Zach Pendley

Great bar. They need to serve more water to the tables though. It gets hot and stuffy in the corners and they should have brought our group more water...the alcohol serving is great but without water...you're just going to die.

Josh Meagher

Fun atmosphere, good live music.

Ramses Ramirez

I love the pizzas sale yummy

Brian Fabb

Started awesome, but service was awful. Bar was packed and I partied on dance floor, but when came back to drinks, they took all drinks and "didn't know what happened". Not the place to dance...... sucks

Jacque Bartlett

Good food for at a reasonable price

Renee Gibson

Good service and good food!

Craig Hochreiter

This place is not for me. Don't like so loud can't hear anyone. But if your looking for a concert like atomsphere, with a bit of Vegas flare, maybe check it out.

Jennifer Blakeman

Great indoor/outdoor space for casual dining, drinks and music.

Tess Stern

Great music! This was perfect for a bachelorette.

Kyle Francis

We came here for a small bite and drinks early evening. Nicely brought to our table on the patio. Beer tasted fresh and mac and cheese with chicken was particularly good. Not that big of a pan but certainly filling. We came on a Friday which happened to be acoustic night so that was a treat. A couple of bachelorette parties and other large groups so definitely a fun place for a Friday night stop.

M Bhatti

Rip off. The guy at the door talked us into bottle service for $800, upon entering we got talking to the table beside us and found out that they only paid $500 for the same bottle. Staff was really pushy and made us order 2 additional bottles in order for us to keep the table. The staff was rude, arrogant and seemed to be fighting amongst each other. Hate the fact that different people get different prices on the same product. Unfair business practices. Do yourself a favour and walk past this bar ... lots of better options down the street. I would never return. Brutal service, over priced and sticky floors. I'd give this place a 0 star if possible.

Dave Smith

Good food great atmosphere service less than expected

Joe Stanford

Went last night and expected a respectable establishment instead I got a disgusting environment. There was alcohol all over the floor causing a bunch of slippery and sticky spots. Dancing was limited due to people standing on the floor doing nothing. I asked the manager if there was any way to move them off and he responded " well they wanna be on the dance floor" it's called a dance floor not a standing floor there was plenty of standing room not on the DANCE FLOOR. The band was good but the music was so loud I could hardly talk to anyone without screaming and my ears were ringing by the time I left.

Enrique Brime

Nice place for hanging out with friends and have a converrsation while having a dri k and listening to nice music

James Stanford

Amazing atmosphere. Great staff. Keep up the great job

Eric Holt

Just not a place to go for a burger. I'm sure the place rocks in the evening with the ASU students. The waitresses are hot, the draft beer was warm, and the fries were cold.

Whitney Chantel

Great atmosphere and drinks.

Eric Cooley

You got to be kidding me on a Friday night don't seat anyone all open tables say reservation and thwy have been empty for a hour and a half and hostess tells you that there is no chance for food when half the bar is empty. Undersood that you had "reservations" but you had 6 large tables sitting empty for over an hour and staff turning away business because you are unable to turn around a table of four within an hour and half. The real issue, is we were told that there was no chance of us getting food even at the bar at 730! If you really want to run your business as just a night club only don't become a restaurant.

Casey Gullett

Zero stars First bar tender super nice, she left after i got my 2 drinks and # 2 shows up so rude, she kept walking past so i get her attention and she was rude. Over all wont come back, everything was over priced and the people sucked.

Dean Frio

Went here recently for a friend's party. It was a good place to start the night. Drinks were good, but what really made it was the quality of the Staff!! Everyone was so nice, the security out on the patio was so helpful setting up a heater and the bartender was so quick to get our orders. I personally don't like much country music but the staff made it a worthy place to go back to!

Joe Maxwell

Great staff and wonderful D.J.s

Eric Cook

Great place, fun staff

Ryan

Dead quiet night. Place was empty. Walked in and sat at the bar. Bartender could have cared less and took forever to acknowledge us. Charged us $24 for two, four roses bourbon??? A bottle is $18 at any liquor store. I get up charge at bars but that is insane. We then asked about live music. She responded “I don’t know, check the website.” What a joke! Won’t be back

Bill Radke

A country bar that doesn't often play country music.

Roy F

Good food and great service! Chicken breast with vegetables was moist and delicious, plus they gave the gf free birthday shots!! Definitely will be back!!

Ian Mac

They won't take on over 50 years of age at all. Just ignored. Very rude. Just want a beer etc. Inclusiv e place this is not!

Josselyn Webster

As a Husker fan, this bar is amazing! Don't even think twice about going here for a football Saturday, JUST GO! We sat at the bar, service was good, servers were entertaining and fun!

Chad B.

Fun fun fun

Aaron Arsenault

Amazing atmosphere! Amazing venue service is on point! Can't wait to go back!

Lisa La

Ordered food to go, after having a cocktail. Waited 25 minutes for chicken fingers and fries. Got home to find burnt chicken fingers with wilted greens stuck to it and about 5 cold fries. I will be honest and say it looked like it was grabbed out of the trash. Guess asking where my food was after 25 minutes equals you get food from trash can. I will never go back.

Gabrielle Wallace

Drinks are very pricey but it's still a fun place to go. They have a good mix of top 40 music and country music. Lots of fun to go to for broncos games during football season as it's a broncos bar.

Dylan On The Radio

Not that I think some college kid (key demo to a place like this) is going to read my review of this joint but I still gotta voice my opinion. WAYYYYYY overpriced. 4 double shots of Jameson ran me $100 bucks. Now maybe the problem is i just don't go out enough to know accurate pricing, but an entire bottle of Jameson is maybe $30?? RIP OFF. Not to mention the place never got busy. Bevvy is just down the street, much better! Love ya Dierks, but this place is a no go in my opinon.

Calvin Rowland

Great venue , unfortunately we went on what must have been an off day. It wasn't quite as busy as we had hoped. Looks like an overall large bar wish we could have seen it on a busier day

ERIK RODRIGUEZ

Used to be one of my favorite places but food and service has gone down hill last 2 years. Still best country music bar around though.

Patricia Lebahn

Horrible service. Bartenders were too busy chatting with their friends. I would understand if they were busy mixing/serving drinks. Had a difficult time getting their attention to serve us and we were sitting at the bar! They would just rush by to chat with the next friend who entered. Will not return. And our group tips above 20%. Their loss!

John White

The bartenders should give out their numbers so you can text them when you need to get their attention. The wings looked okay but we never got a chance to order them. No worries, the place next door is super close and pretty good!

Mitch Buzzo

Cool VIP area, nice open bar concept, great dancefloor.

Paul Platz

Not a fan of them reserving tables for people while tables sit empty for hours. Yes it was hours. You want my money open a table for an hour. There were 8 of them empty. We went next door to Bevys. When we left Bevys the tables were still empty. I flew from Indiana to come to visit my son and was disappointed as was the party I was with.

amber peterson

Super fun bar to have drinks and food. Our bartender was very friendly and made me a great cocktail. We ordered the wings and they were awesome!

Jen Vincent

I am writing in regards to our most recent visit to your establishment on Feb. 2, 2019. We travel to Scottsdale every year as a group, and always make it a point to visit (out of our way) Whiskey Row because of the fun atmosphere. We even made reservations months prior for a table of 10 at 7:30pm. Upon arrival, we were greeted rudely saying we needed to wait in the “back of the line”, and only after questioning as to why since we have a reservation would we need to wait in the line to get in, did the security reluctantly let us through. Upon sitting at our table, we all quickly ordered a round of drinks and requested menus for dinner. Only then did the supposed general manager, Rudy, come over and rudely and abruptly tell us that the kitchen was closing at 8:00 and we better hurry and get in our food order. Basically seemingly annoyed we were even there. I might add, that there were no other parties sitting in the large tables on either side of us. While waiting for our meals, we continued ordering drinks. Once our food finally came, Rudy once again made his appearance. He approached the side of the table where the ladies in our party were sitting. And he told us we “need to hurry” since another party had reserved our table for 9:00. In no way were we ever informed upon making the reservation that there was any kind of time limit for reserving the table. I don’t feel that 1 1/2 hours is enough time for us to order drinks, order food, wait for our food, and then proceed to eat our food for a party of 10. Again, Rudy’s demeanor was very contemptuous, and condescending to us women at the table when we tried to argue our point. The way he spoke to us was unlike any treatment I have ever received from anyone, let alone a manager in the service industry. He made 2 of my friends actually cry by his arrogant, self important, and downright patronizing attitude toward us. He then proceeded to tell the waitress to take our food and drinks away (which I might add, we were not even finished with yet). I find it so ironic that he cowardly neglected to talk the men in our group who were busy in conversation as to what his intent was even though he clearly knew they were paying the bill and actually did walk over to them to collect the payment once our half eaten food was taken away. On our way out, the security guard that was standing by our table even apologized since he heard the way he was speaking to us. Not that this should matter, but we are not a bunch of rowdy college kids that just happened to drunkedly come in——we are all professional adults that included doctors, teachers, and owners of companies who spent a lot of money with you. I read that the CEO of your company, Ryan Hibbert, said “Hospitality has always been in my blood”, and he enjoys “giving visitors a place where they feel like they belong and they love what they are experiencing”. Well he definitely missed the mark here at Whiskey Row by hiring employees like Rudy. We will never set foot in a Whiskey Row again if this is how the company is run! And not only that, but I will be forwarding this review on to the corporate offices of RHG Riot Hospitality Group and will be telling everyone I know about this terrible visit!!!

Jenny Pearson

The epitome of what you would call douchey. The service here was awful and the crowd even worse on a Saturday evening. I had to wait to 40 minutes to get a drink, and it wasn't that it was super busy it's just that the bartenders are too busy chatting with what looked like friends instead of taking care of customers. I left after downing my first drink because this place was getting on my nerves.

Lisa Horn

Not impressed. We waited forever for our food. Bartender handed me a plastic champagne flute with water still in the bottom of it and water spots all over. Another server handed me a salt shaker that had a layer of filth I could scratch off. It was chilly, they had 6 heaters, and finally lit one an hour after I asked for them to light them. And they only lit one. It was a bar unlike any other.

Kristan Green

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This was my 3rd visit in the last few years and after this last one, I will never go back. A group of us went on a Thursday night and received terrible service. We understood that the tables inside were bottle service from previous visits, upon entry to the bar a security guard told our group we were welcome to sit at the bar or at a table out on the outdoor patio area. We were lucky enough a table big enough for our group had just opened out on the patio so we all sit and wait for service. About 10 minutes go by and a waitress comes and tells us all the outdoor tables are also bottle service and that we would need to move. Ok. Fine. We go stand at the bar....there are 7 of us (standing in a line at the bar) and a bartender quickly starts grabbing our order. Before she could get to the end of our group a different bartender asks the 2 on the opposite end what they want to drink, my cousin looks at her and says that we are a whole group and that she would like to pay for all the drinks....the 2nd bartender just looks at my cousin and says, "I am ONLY helping these 2," and walks away. She was completely rude, rolling her eyes, playing with her hair and just overall seemed annoyed that she has to be working. Needless to say we finished our drinks and quickly left. We went down the street to Boondocks where the service was fast, courteous and they acted they actually wanted our money. I do not recommend going to Whiskey Row unless you want terrible service with attitude.

vidit jain

It was a good place. Nice crowd, enough security good drinks and good music as well.
