This Night Club belongs to the category of Lounge.
The most friendly customer service I've encountered at any airport lounge.
Lady at the reception was very rude .
Ok place is about all I can say here.
They refused to accept priority pass. Said they were expecting too many first class passengers, but had no flight leaving except ours for 4 hours.
Lounge in Anchorage AK. VERY NICE. Could put out "romaine lettuce" instead of nasty iceberg lettuce. I think thefees charged each year warrents quality food.
Good lounge to relax. Not exceptional like the Seattle lounge and the food is mediocre.
Excellent airline lounge at Anchorage good pre flight relaxation venue.
Cannot access lounge with your AMEX card. The lounge is small anyway from what it looked like when I walked up.
Warning for Priority Pass members: PP access is often restricted due to capacity issues. And there's no other option in the area.
Love the alaska lounge
They are always attentive, warm and friendly. Basically Boy Scouts, or what used to be called Boy Scouts. The food is basically basic. But with a little creativity you can rework what is given into a peanut butter and honey with banana English muffin. Most times there is a vegetarian option on the soup, but not always. The real pleasure is a place to escape and be away from the crush of people and all that entails.
Paid the entrance fee, didn't have a flight on Alaska but had several hours to kill at the airport. Thought the $45 entrance fee would serve me well with lots of snacks, beverages etc. Paid the entrance fee, no snacks to be found, had three beer then cut off, trust me I didn't drink too much, their beer mugs are 8 punches if I'm being generous--I'm guessing due to then trying to cut costs. They told me they wanted to make sure I'm allowed on my flight, bs. They want to make sure they turn a profit on everyone coming through the door.
Good place to relax and have some refills. The only thing I didn’t like is the hours. With so many late flight and early flight there, I wish they can open for 24 hours and don’t request 3 hours limit before the departure time.
Not accepting priority pass members even though they suppose to
This heavily trafficked airport has gotten so much better with more seats your can lay out on if you need to nap between flights. There's a nice, quiet upstairs viewing area with an interesting bird taxonomy collection where I like to work but, for some reason, it's often closed. Free WiFi without registration is a bonus, Sliver Gulch Brewing has a decent bar and a good shrimp cocktail ($9). Lots of restrooms.
The Anchorage Alaska Lounge is small, but inviting. I love coming here to grab a drink and relax before my flight out. The attendants are always helpful and nice...which is expected from Alaska Airlines since they have the best customer service. The lounge is always clean and they also have nice little snacks like salad, soup, pancakes and fruit or cookies to eat before your long haul.
I will NEVER use Alaska air cargo after my flight tomorrow. They made it such a hassle to send two packages to Sacramento, because of a terrible system that they use. Apparently, member are required to “renew” their membership in order to obtain a “known shipper ID,” which is absolutely absurd. I have a flight tomorrow, and now I’m forced to send my two packages as on flight (which cost $75 dollars each). We’ve had an account with Alaska Air Cargo and have used their services for several packages, but apparently, loyalty members don’t matter to Alaska Airlines. After moving, I will never purchase anything that’s associated with Alaska Airlines, nor its affiliates. This is without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Alaska Airlines, and because of this, they lost a customer for life. I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know that plans on using their services, so they can find a better option.
We visited Alaska for the 1st time in our whole lifes in June of 2018, and wanted to relax a bit in the lounge before our flight back to the continental US..and our experience in the lounge was the staff closely watching our alcohol consumption. They were standing at the counter and counting literally every drink they served us. No more than 2 drinks per person. When my son got one drink and asked for one more, they inquired for whom he was getting another drink. He said that it was for me. They said that I got one already. Then the staff started walking through the aisles of seats and looking closely at any drinks we took. They kept an eye on me. There is 2 drinks only policy they enforce, and if I ask for one more beer they would refuse to serve me in the rudest way, like I am some kind of an alcoholic. Bizzare!! More over, their practicies provoke some people to watch what others do and how much they drink. This is a shame!!! We got from there to Seattle airport and stayed at their lounge, where no one was controlling our alcohol drinks, and we felt huge relief.
The lounge was empty but still entry was being denied for priority pass members. Not sure what's the real reason behind it.
A nice Oasis in the middle of a ordered chaos. :)
Very nice lounge to relax. Will be coming back for sure!
Good selection of snacks and beverages, and the most friendly and helpful attendants!
Awesome place
As of Nov 11 they're still allowing Priority Pass members (some of the Alaska Lounges don't). If you can't get a couch they have a corner of business nooks by the window with assorted outlets. Pretty wide selection of complimentary beer. They had a roasted vegetable soup and a small fridge with reindeer sausage and cheese cubes. Also signature to Alaska Lounges: pancake and espresso machines.
Awesome service!! The check in attendants were very friendly and professional. The lounge offers hot oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit and pancakes along with craft coffee and soft drinks. Teisha is the most amazing attendant, she took the best care of us! You won't be disappointed with this lounge, it's stellar!!
It was just alright..
Did not accept priority pass due to occupancy.
Unfriendly staff. Everything seemed like pulling teeth from the staff. Will not be back!
PP cards denied for 3 hours straight, lounge looked half empty. Front desk staff very unhelpful in giving a timeline of when it may open or what criteria they use.
Friendly service and relaxing
Anchorage lounge is nice but simple not over crowded like Seattle Portland
I was lucky that I got in early.. but they stop accepting priority pass members if it gets a little busy even though there is space. Other than that it’s a typical experience, though the carpet on the floor stinks, I am afraid to keep my bags down.
When I went it had a sign stating AA Admirals club, priority pass, and lounge members not allowed due to capacity. For that this is on my crap list of lounges. Needless to say when you can get it, its not really worth it. Drink selection and food selection is pathetic... I'll enjoy elsewhere you lost my biz.
Good place to rest between flights. Plenty of coffee and snacks while you wait.
Helpful. Relaxing. Peaceful.
Great service.
Every terminal assistant that I dealt with was very helpful and polite.
Save your money!
Quaint and nice. Food selection is a bit scarce.
Have flown through here and used the lounge many times and this was the final straw. Not that the services or food or seating is bad but the people at the counter are so rude. I usually have a baby with me and they are so eager to turn me away and are shocked I have a right to be there, everytime. Its predictably bad and almost comical at this point. They act like this is the most exclusive lounge on the planet... this is Anchorage... and normal people use it too.
Relaxing, great people
Awesome place highly recommend!
Awesome place if your military on orders
Never miss a beat. I just wish they had Peach flavor and Pumpkin Flavor
The best pleace
Very nice lounge with drinks, food, and comfortable seating. It does get crowded sometimes in the summer but is normally fine in the winter.
The Lounge is pretty nice and I'd say worth the money if you fly a lot (>20 flights a year or so). There are snacks but not enough if you're really hungry. The free drinks and quiet space are what makes it worth it. The AA Admirals Club (which you can also use) is WAY nicer. If an airport has both, go there.
Flew first class to Anchorage and returned in an economy seat. Lounge staff were very friendly and accommodating when I had my first class ticket in hand, but when I returned a week later and politely asked for help printing a boarding pass for my economy seat because I couldn't locate any other Alaska employees in the airport, the lounge workers were visibly irritated. My friend was waiting while I was being helped and when she tried to use the restroom the lounge worker snapped at her that it's only for first class passengers and she'd have to use the public restrooms. Way to treat your customers like the cattle we are, Alaska Airlines.
Love the new remodel, we have been members 10+ years. Stayed at the lounge on July 20;2019 at lunch time. We would love to suggest a more varied menu, in your beautiful remodeled buffet area. We had the choice of two soups, and one salad of corn, bean, chicken, eggs. They ran out of ingredients for the salads, and the soup was replaced with another choice and ran out before we could get it in the two hours we stayed. I would love to see more protein choices, perhaps mixed nuts, pre made salad choices, with plenty of ingredients for choices of toppings. Thank you for the upgrade, and it looks great, hoping you will enhance the “ not paid for directly” menu.
The people who work here needs to be taught “hospitality”. They do not accept priority pass even when it’s not busy. They accept priority pass at 12:30 AM (and they close at 1 AM) to have priority pass holders finish the leftover food. I was denied access with priority pass . Then I asked about day pass. She said they don’t sell day passes , then I said I have Alaskan airline credit card. Her reply was like “ oh , then I can’t do anything to stop you from entering the lounge with a 25$ per person” ! It sounded like they just don’t want people flying main cabin. They do as much as they could to stop letting priority pass holders in! Shame!
After our flight was cancelled for crew rest, the workers tried to expedite the line by signing a buddy in under my name. He had his own membership but I got charged for him (because expediting their line was more important than doing it correctly)....again: AFTER THEY CANCELLED OUR FLIGHT FOR CREW REST! We shouldn't have had to sign back in at all.
Great coffee and pancakes, very friendly helpful staff. A great welcome to Alaska whilst having a 5 hour layover till our next flight.
Poorly managed.
Always a high quality reprieve for the weary traveler.
Always peaceful and very comfortable on my trips.
Ok.... could be better. More food options for starters
Awesome
Very good.
So great
I had a first class pass, but I saw the sign not allowing other lounge pass holders (eg priority pass). The space for the food, coffee, etc was very crammed. Food choices were basically a build your own salad that was held in a mini fridge in separate bowls like leftovers. I would have guessed that this being Anchorage, Alaska airlines would pull out a few more frills for third lounge. The LAX one was definitely a step up.
I stop here regularly while travelling back and forth to work in Prudhoe Bay. Starbucks machine has been broken for months, food consists of soup, salad, and pretzels, or a communal tub of yogurt and some frozen bagels in the morning. Gross! Its a good quiet place to plug in during a layover but don't expect any sort of a meal here. Will not be renewing my membership.
If you have the Alaska Airlines credit card, the lounge is worth the $25. Free drinks, salad, snacks, and pancakes. There is a menu of food items you can order that cost extra.
The only civilian lounge at this airport and they are not accepting priority pass members. It doesn’t even look overcrowded at all.
I always like the lounge, buy the membership yearly.
Comforts now! Friendly!
Great friendly staff. Allowed our large family to use the conference room free of charge. Food was sparse but fresh. Latte machine and drinks were great.
Priority Pass people beware. Admittance is very hit-and-miss in the summer. Was told fishing season also. Otherwise once you are in its great. 'Cozy'. Can be crowded. The employees are awesome. Will be back. (Hopefully they will let me in.)
Good times
Best staff in the world.
Great place for a break from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Great service and good food and drink. Highly recommend.
Refused service twice. This place has not been trained in customer service. They love to deny priority pass with a smile. Didn’t even offer to give me a soft drink or water to go. They said they are refusing priority pass member bc they wanted to make room for paying customers. Just don’t expect to eat here. The guy that was leaving said the food was on the level of street food anyway.
Snobs!!
Horrible Experience- Blocked at the door!! Rude Staff! I’m new to the Priority Pass family from my Hilton AMEX and wanted to try out my new perk since making Diamond status. After calling the Priority hotline they informed me that the lounge closes at 9pm during the week so decided to bring my wife & 2year old to try it out before they closed. The front lady named Billie said I couldn’t come in. I told her I spoke with a Priority customer svc person on the phone & they said to come before 9pm. Billie then told me that I should have checked the website. “You were misinformed & I can’t let you in” I asked if they could accommodate us since I had a hungry 2 year old & since I was already there. Billie : “There are plenty of places that will take care of you & your 2year old here at the airport” & showed me to the door. From the looks of the other reviews, this is what they are about. I’m disappointed in how we were treated.
This is a DING DONG great lounge. Everyone DING DONG at the front desk is friendly and willing to make DING DONG your experience great. DING DONG I spent 2 hours inside and felt rested DING DONG and relaxed. DING DONG Except for the door bell sound going off every 30 seconds.
Never using this company again. Sloooowww service to check in. Arrived early, still missed my flight 7 lanes "available " 2 actual working people. Missed by 5 minutes. Cost me $100 change flights to two days later arrive in final destination. Done with this airline ever again
Very relaxing. Staff is awesome.
Above and Beyond..love the friendly and professional service
Horrible wine...Mondavi CS. and Woodbridge Malbec. Can't believe they serve this stuff. Been a member for years and never this poor quality.
The only good thing about it is the comfortable seating. Food is mediocre if not horrible.
Don't allow priority members even when lounge is not busy
Seattle airport: Alaska Airlines Oh how I love the comforts of travel. The AL provides a space to refresh, regroup prior to taking on long flights. The staff is there to assist with last minute travel changes, check on connections and provide a beverage & snack. The membership is getting very spending for 4 trips a years. If ones travels MORE it’s worth it or day pass / first class ticket will get you in.
They always run out of food here. It's not cheap to be a lounge member and this is the poorest lounge for any eating.
Nice place to get a cup of hot chocolate
Loved the speedy service and the common helpfulness that they showed thanks
A comfortable way to wait for the plane. Very nice employees with excellent attitudes.
Pretty good lounge. Free alcohol beverage, pretty good food. Nothing spectacular. Lounge does get busy so come early ish if you want good seats. Best part of the lounge in my opinion is the view of the tarmac. I love planes. I love seeing planes move around the tarmac. Amazing.
Very bad customer service. Customer rep. Leslie was very rude.
Wouldn't let me through the door...
Love everything about Alaska
Very nice lounge as all lounges should be. Surprised to find that the food selection was a bit shy (for lunch, only had one salad and one soup). Pancake machine was running tho. Good amounts of drinks available. A few complimentary drinks as well as paid premium drinks. Seats are equipped with power plugs. Couple of TVs with different programmes. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Very cheerful. There might have been some capacity problems and they will not admit non Alaska members such as Priority Pass.
Was unable to enter because they choose when to honor priority pass and when not to, even though entry is effectively prepaid.
