The atmosphere is good but the food was not that good. The sushi was awful. It was too much rice and the fish was not fresh at all. They have good bread with a homemade butter and an ok crab cakes with a tasty salad. But the pecan crusted grouper that I got was in a bed of what I can say it was not rice, but a rice puree, so overcook the rice. The grits with shrimp had no flavor besides the spiciness of the Andouille sausage. They had a good crème brulee but the sugar crust on top was too much. I would recommend as first choice to go but like I said the place looks nice and they have a good menu selection (i would definitely recommend to stay away from the sushi).

I have had different experiences every time I have come here. I went here for Wednesday Bingo and the energy was lacking. The music is too loud when they call out the numbers and the caller seems to not be able to hear most of the Bingos...lol (lower the music it would help) also my server usually is ok but on this particular night she seemed distant and hard to reach. She had to be flagged down a lot for drinks and food. She also brought me the wrong order. And upon bringing me the fried green tomatoes she only brought me 8 little tomatoes...(I have bragged about the amount being so much that 3 people could share...she brought it to me on a boat dish and claimed that was the regular serving it just seemed small cause of the particular dish they were using due to no other clean dishes available

We were in town for business and this place was great for finding something to eat late in the evening (after 9 pm). They have a full bar and the average range of tavern food - burgers, wings, etc. It was a Thursday night so the college crowd rolled in around 10-1030. It looks like the the place gets packed out on the weekend, with seating on the upper and lower levels. Good times!

This place is COMPLETELY RACIST!!! The rude and disrespectful bartender (unsure if it was a girl or guy) tried multiple attempts not to serve us. After the thrid attempt we decided not to spend our hard earned money at this establishment. It’s very unsettling that it’s 2018 and I have to experience RACISM at bar in ALABAMA. To think, people say, “there’s no such thing as racism”. Ha, THE LIES!! Luckily, #Flowbama the bar down the street was the complete opposite!

Was late when we went and was either here waffle house or Krystal we was closest to here so we went. As a non drinker there was a rowdy group of guys wed discussed ordering to go but they had settled down before food arrived so we decided to eat there. I have to say menu wasn't much to choose from but what we ordered was delicious the jalapeño cheese sticks was wonderful but the burger I believe has won for best in town I ordered OTR burger added cheese and bacon it came with fries It has pushed #1 burger down to #2 but do not take kids it is not a environment sutible for children ut you can call in a take out order if you have children but unless kids are older or big eaters may want go else were the burger is huge and a little expensive if not ate. I was so expressed in tipped the cook and that is a rarity in have to be very impressed to do so but I' can't wait until warms up I can order to go and go to river/ park enjoy peace and quite and beat burger in rown.

Very good drinks only thing upstairs. Way too loud with the speaker. Brought my aunt and uncle there to get a few drinks. Went upstairs and it was way too loud to where we couldn't even conversate. Would give it 5 stars if the speaker wasn't upstairs. We can clearly hear the band without the speaker.

We went early so perhaps this spot gets better as the night gets later. Bartenders seemed annoyed but service was fine. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Definitely an authentic college town bar (que St. Elmo's Fire).

The waitress / bartender, Amber I think, was absolutely horrible!!!! She stayed on her phone, she tended to her friends mostly, she put WAY TO MUCH liquor in my drink! And on top of that, she fixed my drink, chatted with her friends, then brought it to me watered down! She wad rude, short, got my friends order WRONG, and I'm pretty sure she was serving an underaged kid that was among her group of friends! Will never go back, and have alerted all of my friends and asked that they spread the word!!! Horrible service! It wasn't even that busy!!!

If I were highly social, enjoy loud music, talking, smoking, drinking, and just the rowdy bar atmosphere on a first and second level building (and I don't) this would be the place I'd go! It seems everyone in Florence knows about this place, enjoys it, and have at least gone here once. If you haven't experienced On The Rocks then you need to visit at least ONCE! As for the service, waitresses always seem to find their way back to you, keep good tabs, and bring the booze!
