When I asked about bars that had karaoke everybody was telling me about this place I was really hyped up to come in and do a couple of songs unfortunately you all do not share the fact that this is a private club and you have to pay a $5 cover charge to get in I think you should put that on your Facebook page and let everybody know that there's a $5 cover charge cuz I sure as heck didn't see it

Not the same place by a long shot, waited 45 minutes until the bartender clocked out to realize they didn't put in my food order. In the wait, was asked for a light, said I didn't smoke, then asked if I could share the table and then immediately engaged in conversation with smoke blown into my face. Going to miss Marty's, doubt I'll be back :/

I added this bar back to Google maps. It was closed for a while, but open again. Great bar food, good prices on drinks, and great staff. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but it's due to the volume of customers. This is my local hangout, and it's a great place to be. Open 7 days til 0600.

Seriously could not recommend Marty's more, especially when they're playing host to the Goulash Comedy crowd. Love grabbing a brew and enjoyinh some good company and great laughs- it wouldn't be Monday without Marty's!

Had fun. But kinda crowded. Not much room to dance and not many restrooms for the amount of people that was there. However my burger was 5 stars.

The staff for the most part are great people, they do, like most bars these days, have several divas who would rather see and be seen than serve drinks. Personal experiences have also shown me that nepotism is on display from the owners on down.

First time at Marty's.Wont be last.Private club (card required, no hassle)...Excellent music, bartenders, and drink prices. Will have to try food next time,smelled wonderful. Interesting decor...vintage signs. Nothing typical about this bar/club. Plenty of parking.

Best food in Birmingham, but that is not the best part of this joint by far. The service staff is consistently more than amazing. I have been there several times, and they knock it out of the park every single time. Tonight I met a father and son, who were told by their friends in Birmingham how great this place was, and came in. As they were leaving they said that they have never found such good food or staff at 11p.m. in all the cities they have traveled.

Dive bar that is open late with great eats (I would recommend the Patty Melt and Reuben). $5 membership fee allows the bar and kitchen to stay open til 5am.

They charged me 12 dollars for a regular drink. They make you buy a membership and still make you pay a cover for the weekend. Definitely a rip off.

It's a small building with a big, covered patio. The food is good because unlike most "bar food," nothing is fried (it's all grilled). Great place to chill, staff is friendly and usually pretty attentive. After 2am though, it gets incredibly busy and crowded. LGBTQ friendly. Unisex bathrooms. Definitely recommend a visit, even if it's just to say you've been.

Pretty cool hang out , nice if ur riding around downtown at 5 in the morning and looking for a place to hang out. I had no idea that it was a swingers club/bar , my boyfriend tried to pull a fast one on me lol , needless to say he is now my EX . Pretty cool place tho.

Great little hole-in-the-wall for drinks. Food is great. The downside is that everything is a little pricier than normal and all their beers are bottled/canned, so nothing new with that. The upside is that they're open at very late/early hours that make them very convenient.

Love this place. ALL are welcomed. No they do not allowing fighting, and no no body got killed at Marty's. So who ever wants Marty's to have a horrible rating, not going to happen. PLUS nobody else serves alcohol and food until 5 am that is worth a damn other than Marty's. Want a place to go where everybody will learn and know your name, that is MARTY'S PM.
