A huge collection of taxidermy animals with more variety than I had anticipated. Kept my kids interested for over an hour, and there is a small kids area with a puppet theater to play with and some toys that they loved.

Mounts are interesting to see but distressed by one room that was filled with dead animals killed only because they where the largest of their kind.

The Werner Wildlife Museum is a diamond in the rough. They have a ton of beautifully selection of mounted animals. Young children seem to have a great time. There's a nice park area behind the building with picnic tables and plenty of shade in the summer time. The Werner Wildlife Museum is a definite must visit in Casper. My only critique is that the museum should be bigger and better funded. Thanks for the great experience.

A lesson is given by museum staff on an animal, or animal group, every Thursday at 4pm. This was our after school activity until a work schedule change prevented us from continuing.
