Fun place to learn about the past and go behind the scenes with your own personal tour guide

Had a great experience with the grandkids. Tour guide was knowledgeable and good with young kids. A lot of exhibits packed into building. We were able to see bones that had been recently brought in from a dig site. Price is affordable. Highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful learning experience! ! My four children and I had such a nice time. We were welcomed by the frindly staff and lead on a personal tour. We learned much more interesting facts about the specimens than if we would have walked through by ourselves. Highly recommend taking a look. Very family friendly.

Chuck Platt

This place is pretty cool and a very courteous staff to boot! Recommend the slight detour off 25 to visit if in the area.

Libby Hiser

Best little dinosaur museum around!

Janette B

This place was so much fun! It's a small museum but it is packed with significant fossil history. Our tour guide was great fun, she was so incredibly warm and knowledgeable and it was clear that everyone there (it is a volunteer run place, and VERY well run!) has a passion for the fossils and their place in history. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Cathy Adler

A hidden gem. What a great little museum. Everyone was so friendly and the personal tour's are fantastic. And getting to go in the lab is something you never get to do at the big museum's.

Wayne Clark

Was great. Young girl who was tour guide was awesome

Lyndsey Doyle

Pattt Lewallen

Very friendly and helpful with questions.

Stancil Family

Very helpful, dedicated employees. Small gift shop with some replica sharks teeth and fossils made on site. Take advantage of their local dino digs, which they do in conjunction with the Morrison Natural History Museum from Colorado. Great selection of dino bones found nearby.

Gregory Gorsuch

Loved the displays and the tour guide was awesome! Getting to see the back room where they were prepping the fossils was a real treat.

Hillary Mitchell

This museum is amazing!!! Very small but lots of information. The woman who gave us the tour was incredibly patient with my boys. One of which can’t stand museums and tends to be a real pain in them. At the end of the tour, they had the chance to go through the lab area and my boys all wanted to keep going. It’s been a few days since we went and my kids have asked me several times now if we could go to another dinosaur museum. They really sparked a huge interest in them! The admission cost is a steal for all the information they give.

Grayson Steele

Very appealing displays, a good number of fossils being from the surrounding areas. Very interactive, it was a treat to be able to go into the lab and to see how fossils are excavated and cleaned. Definitely would recommend to take an hour off the beaten path to come to this museum.

Karen Wikholm

What a great museum! Thank you Don for our awesome tour! Everyone needs to stop in to see this small place with a wonderful variety of dinosaur bones and fossils!!

Trevor Nelson

This is a a great place. My son loved it. The ladies were so nice and the displays are great. We all got matching dinosaur shirts and left very happy! Hope to be back sometime.

Thomas Parker

Super friendly staff, awesome experience! If you live in the area, they have a huge yard sale behind the museum every summer at Deer Creek Days. If you volunteer here, and if they aren't busy, they might let you help clean the fossils.

Roxy Durkee

Take your kids here! Didn't look like much on the outside but inside it was the best and most informative dinosaur place ever! There was a paleontologist on site and gave my boys the best tour plus showed them how they excavate the bones and fossils from the ground and clean them up too! The boys got to pick out a fossil for free to take home and they picked part of the frill from a stegasarous! The best part was it was only 5 dollars for all of us to get in!

The people are smart, informative and friendly!

Interesting museum of Dinosaur bones. You get an awesome individual tour by one of the personnel that actually works on the discovery. You get to see work in progress. Very educational. I think upper elementary aged up would enjoy. I don't think I would take toddlers or preschool. They would get bored too easily even if they like dinosaurs. This is an educational place.

Jamie Hall

Great place to see dinosaurs and how they where found in the rock not just a finished display. The museum is a bit small and could use more information for someone who knows their dinosaurs but it's not a bad place to visit. The dinosaurs digs offered are a great way to get your hands dirty and see the other side of museum work that you don't often get to see on everyday visits.

Go see the Bone Bitties the local volunteers do a great job with this museum. It is worth your time, and only 5 dollars.

Best place to learn a little! So glad we stopped in....had a personal tour and explanation of all the bones found locally....amazing!! Place is run by volunteers and their knowledge is stunning....stop if you can!

Travis Staszak

Amy Spencer

Wonderful place to get up close and personal with dinosaur fossils. The Bone Bitties were great, and so informative. Our little paleontologist loved this little museum.

Greg Steed

One of the coolest places we have taken our kids. We received a tour by an actual palentologist and we learned tons! A hidden gem!
