Small aviation museum seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I visited a couple of years ago - it was very interesting!

Rusty W

Guy McLean

Nice little display of aircraft used in fire fighting and at $3 a good deal.

Matt Todd

The museum is basically a trailer and a line of place behind a rest stop so it's not real big. But they had some interesting stuff and I learned new things. If it's on your way it's worth stopping, but I don't know that I'd go out of my way to stop there.

Richard Bibb

Neat little air field, bummed the place was closed hope to come back sometime when its open

Barbara Miles

It's closed.

Teddy Vaury

Very cool pit stop. Took an hour and walked around with my son. Very cool tribute to the smoke jumpers and airborne firefightey.

Robert Sankoff

Ken Morrison

Stopped today 7-22 spreaders to be closed.

Delilah Ratliff

Looked very interesting and great place to see planes and see the history of them

Christopher Patterson

Worth the visit, a great way to breakup any long drive! Also, the rest area is spectacular.

Justin Shafer

Was closed but still nice to look around at.

Gene Jones

Had to make a stop and walk through this museum. Was a good time. I would recommend to anyone.

Thomas Wolfe

Plane graveyard was cool

Julie Anderson

We loved all the oddball planes they had at this museum. We have Ellsworth AFB Air Museum, which is amazing! Greybull, WY has these awesome birds. Stop and check them out. It's only $5 per person with a discount on 4 or more I think believe. My only wish would be to be able to at least stick our heads inside the plane itself. But we still spent well over an hour. The "bone yard" would be pretty spectacular to even have just a closer view. Still...

Marilou Helmen

Long ago stories about these old planes. Very interesting.

Raelee Dawn

Chris Rogoski

Great little museum. Stopped in for the rest stop to have lunch and ended up sticking around to check out some of the great planes.

Nice museum and downtime. Cannot access planes in boneyard. Visited in 90s, as well.

Jeremy Harding

Awesome flashback of history. Friendly greeter, inexpensive family fun.

Jon Reither

We were disappointed when we went to see the museum yesterday and found it was closed. The sign on the gate said open May-September except closed for bad weather. The weather wasn't that bad. From the fence all we could see was 5 elderly airplanes sitting forlornly in the dirt, with slowly flattening tires, so it probably wouldn't be worth the $5 admission anyway. Too bad, I always enjoy to see a good aviation museum.

Robin Fox

Bob & Patty Warne

Great little interesting aviation museum. Pleasant divirsion.

Joni Wilson

Hubby was disappointed. Only 6 planes, could access one. No access to the airplane 'graveyard' adjacent that we had read about from sometime in the past.

Pattyjo Hinkel

Awesome to have the history of the planes used in fighting fires. The gentleman who was there when I went was very nice and knowledgeable about the planes. It is a cool little museum

Bryan Rask

This is the wrong phone number for the museum.

Eric Sander

The subject matter is interesting and it's a reasonable $3 for admission. There are some interesting airframes including the B-24 derivative PBY4. The aircraft are not really maintained and you can only enter the cargo area of one of the planes. Only worth a stop if you're in the area.

Susan Huckeby

Absolutely amazing! This is a must see!! Very interesting display of firefighting aviation. Aerial forest firefighting developed by Hawkins & Powers in Greyball, WY is showcased in this museum. Very reasonable admission charge. Super friendly and helpful volunteers. Loved it!

Frank Montgomery

I thought it was cool to have something like this out in the middle of nowhere.

John sutherin

Steve Wasser

Interesting place. It is out in the middle of nowhere but there is a rest area right there with it so it is a good place to stop, stretch out and walk around and look at all the airplanes.

Bob Wood

D Shoogs

I wasn't going to pay $11 per person to look at five planes.

SY

Sanicky

Good place to go see how fireplane looked in the old days

Randolph Schreiner
