We expected this to be less interesting to the eight year old. I will tell you now, however, it has something for literally everyone. Even a hat collection, and a set of taxidermied wild sheep of every kind found in North America. And arrowheads.

Wow! Who knew this was here. On a family road trip, leaving Yellowstone, and happened upon this little town. Friendly people, GREAT museum & don't forget to get some chocolates next door. Fantastic stop!

A gem in Wyoming. Don't drive through Meeteetse again without stopping by for 5 minutes or 2 hours. Totally worth the visit.

Great for a leg stretcher on your way threw as its not to big. Took my 3 year old and she seemed to love it. Lots of pictures. Great to learn more local history. Every time I go (which isn't very often) it has different displays.
