DESCRIPTION

You will see all the opinions of people who buy the services of Laramie Plains Museum (Museum) near to the state of Wyoming.

Now this business receives a rating of 4.7 over 5 and that rating was based on 69 reviews.

As you can read, the average of ratings is almost the best one, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.

As you know, we don't usually bother to set tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

This is an essential part of the Laramie experience. Learn the exciting history of Laramie and Mr. Ivinson and his family as you explore their mansion on a guided tour through the past. I usually recommend doing this tour the same day as the Territorial Prison.

Paul Brownell

If you're in Laramie take the tour of the Ivinson home!!! Beautiful and wonderful history!

Wendy Endres

I love old buildings and the original artifacts they had were cool. I thought it was so nice they had honor roll society students giving the tour. And the tour is cheap.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour with an amazing young docent. Well worth the price of admission.

A must visit when in Laramie. The guides who provide the tours are informative and the house offers glimpses into living in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Privately sustained by donations, so make sure you help the non-profit keep the museum open.

I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding at the Ivinson Mansion. After assisting a few friends in their weddings, I am convinced that the Laramie Plains Museum is the perfect venue. Mary was helpful throughout the planning process and Crystal was quite helpful the day of. Everyone was friendly and the venue was gorgeous! There is a large kitchen in the AHSC and the local caterers seem comfortable working in there. The venue's rental packages are of great value and their decorations are priceless.

The junior high docents, who volunteer during the summer, are very knowledgeable and enthusiasm. Most of the museum is dedicated to the lifestyle of the 1800s, however the third floor has bits and pieces of things from the railroads to ranching to Native Americans which is not consistent with the rest of the tour. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting this museum.

I wish they were open during the winter and did remodeling in another season. It gets pretty dang hot in the mansion during warmer months.

Scenic grounds and a historic mansion. A nice venue for a wedding or other gathering. The museum is a snapshot of Laramie history from the early days of the city.

Enjoyed this a lot! It's a guided tour, but it was a private tour with just our family. Both guides we're super knowledgeable, friendly and passionate. We learned a lot, neat historical mansion!

Beautiful house! Amenities! Grounds! Lame tour guide! Didn't know the history?!?!??

Great tour of a beautiful home filled with priceless pieces of history. The tour guide was absolutely adorable and well informed, and we loved that young people gave the tour! Not only were they polite and responsible, they seemed to have a true love for the history of Wyoming, and the house itself.
