Excellent regional museum! Several high caliber visiting exhibits, Ledger Art, for example. Recently acquired EXCEPTIONAL art by Ralston of Chief Washakie. Recently hired executive director responsible for these new displays. DEFINITELY WORTH THE TIME!

This is an amazing museum, it's full of so many artifacts and lots of information. Plan on several hours at least. It is very interesting and well arranged. I learned a lot about the American Indians, buffalo and Wyoming that I never heard before.

Admission is 6 dollars for adults that are out of state people. The museum boasts a neat collection of Native American ledger art, a beautiful powder horn collection, and a nice collection of historical pieces like old buggies, clothing, household items...etc. we enjoyed our time looking around.
