The Harley Museum is awesome! If you love motorcycles this place is worth the visit.

Penny Stomner

Awesome , educational and entertaining. The grandkids loved it!

Dan & Carol Zmuda

Extremely well organized. Interesting displays and stories. Staff very helpful and polite. It's well worth seeing and recommended.

Guy Bagley

Quality museum. Great displays and really worth a visit (even if bikes are not your thing!)

Jon Bone

Great museum and fun place for motorcycle enthusiasts. They did a great job of taking me through the history of Harley Davidson and the way that bicycles influenced the design of the early motorcycles. They do a great job of keeping unrestored original bikes. They also show how movies and music influenced the age of motorcycles in the country.

Jason Flynn

What an amazing place. You'll have a whole new appreciation for the Harley Davidson culture when you leave.

Debra Kamyszek

BEAUTIFUL facility and display and history of the HD motorcycles! Was there for a volunteer event, food was horrible!! Chicken was overcooked and dry, with some odd sauce on top, potatoes and beans were undercooked badly and our meals were cold. Waitstaff not friendly at all and only 2 bartenders for about 125 people! SIMPLY RIDICULOUS!! I wouldn't recommend this facility for any type of meal!! I won't be returning for food, but gave you the3 stars for the museum!

Roosevelt McCarter

They have great food, entertainment, music and fun. Come check it out and you'll like it.

Scot M

Awesome trip; unfortunately I didn't have the time I would have liked. I'll be back.

Dennis Valuch

Wow! The museum is AMAZING! We paid extra for the "behind the scenes" tour, & it was well worth it. Everyone there was very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. It was my first visit, going with my wife, her cousin's daughter & her husband from Germany. I went because he is a Harley owner & wanted to see the museum. We are so glad we went for the visit. The exhibits are all very well done & documented, making it easy to follow. We are definitely going back! Don't miss a trip to this attraction!

Dan Gregory

This place is AWESOME! There isn't enough time in one day to see everything, or do all the wonderful interactive displays! If you like motorcycles, love Harley's, this is where you need to go ! Great restaurant, Gift Shop. Senior, and veteran pricing, and kids too !

Dustin Wilson

Wow. If you like Harley.. it's a great place. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it, but if you are near Milwaukee it's worth the stop. Great collection. The special exhibit is kinda lame. 22.00 to get in, took about an hour to walk through.

Al Litwiller

We took two of our grandsons to see this museum today. They loved it! So did we. Very entertaining and professionally done. Easy access from Interstate.

Phillip Hay

You don't have to be a bike lover. Great

Jennylys Rivera

It was a really chill place. You can learn a lot of what was going on when motorcycles started production. And the restaurant I really good.

Enrico Poli

Very interesting museum showing the story of the most popular motorcycles brand in the world. Each single motorcycle here is a piece of art.

Dave Grissum

Very cool place. The history restored and displayed motorcycles were very interesting. Worth the time to spend a couple of hours walking the halls.

John Lapczynski

There is always something to see no matter how many times you visit the museum. The bike nights always have different varieties to see not just harleys. Plan a day trip here if in Milwaukee

Geoff Wojnowski

Was here for a wedding. Great food although they were small portions. The apple pie for dessert was phenomenal. Nice venue overall with an outside area if it gets too hot on the fence floor.

Yorgo Latimer

Impressive quality and volume of exhibits. Loved the kids’ area for kids to try on Harley attire and pose on a bike. Our 5 year old and 8 year old loved the opportunity to sit on bikes at the end. Really liked the camera for pics to be emailed. Our boys loved the games and ability to design bikes, too. And we loved the chance to switch gears on a Harley, too, although our boys were upset that it was only allowed for adults!

Rojen Jacob

Perfect balance of history and technology.. a lot of motorcycles from the early 1900s restored to very good condition. I wish there was more information on how they motor cycles operated back in the day.

Edward McKnight

Great experience of the Harley history. Large selection of bikes to observe. I end up taking 255 pictures. New models on hand to observe and sit on. Amazing Museum with bar, restaurant and gift store on premises. A must stop for Harley owners.

S Rose

Really enjoyed going around through the museum. I love taking pictures with the model motorbikes, my family loved it.

Steven Rice

Was there for a scheduled stop on the Vintage Bike Cross Country Run. A vintage tour that runs 1800 miles from Sault Sainte Marie Michigan to Key West Florida. All bikes are required to be 1948 or older. Very Cool! Awesome seeing all the vintage bikes and meeting the riders. Oh, and the museum is a must see. Even if you don't ride a motorcycle.

Matthew Frawley

Amazing collection of everything that is Harley Davidson! Professor level your guides answered every question my group asked. A must do stop when in Milwaukee.

Alba Sand

Their private events are fancy. They had delicious food, fantastic champagne and great cash bar

Luis Castilla

A great experience that should not be missed if you're in Milwaukee. The museum itself is fantastic, but the cafeteria should also be on your list. Make sure to inquire about the behind-the-scenes dates and times to have an insider's look at what goes on in the background at one of the nation's most iconic brands.

Giselbert Parkhurst

So let's start with how awesome this location is, I have been there for bike nights and Milwaukee fest its incredible, the garage which has speciality exhibits is super cool, they have the 'original' shed (replica) where it all began to fathom that this motorcycle empire was started in a building the size of a Standard home's shed is amazing.

Todd Fullerton

Great place! First time I ever been there. Really glad we went. Even if you're not in the Harley you will enjoy the place. Tables by the canal was a neat Edition.

Dave

This was a great place to check out. So much to see... Even if you don't ride. Still a great history lesson...

Billy Bell

Takes a lot of time to see it all. We allowed 2 hrs should have allowed at least 3. Great museum

Paul Davidson

Very interesting museum, although I own and rode my Harley to the museum. The Harley motorcycle has a long interesting history and the museum does a good job of providing insight into that history. If you are not a motorcycle person you won't find the museum nearly as interesting. The cost seems a bit high at $22 per adult, but as a HOG member I got in free. I spent around five hours going through the museum but others did it much quicker. If you are a Harley or just a motorcycle person then this is a must visit place. The bad part is Milwaukee is a large town with a great deal of traffic and lots of traffic jams so plan accordingly.

Brandon O'Shea

Would have been easy for them to just set up a simple garage to go over history but this museum goes all in on the experience. Tickets are a bit pricey but you have to love their passion and effort towards this place.

Cindy Woltz

Our son's wedding reception was there and it was great.

John Byrne

Awesome place to visit. Really enjoyed all the history.

Darko Milivojevic

Make sure you set aside a good 90 min for the tour. There is a guided tour you can take. But we did our own. There is a lot to see aside from the various hogs. Documents, posters, videos and specs. It's 25$ for the entrance fee which gets you a pin and a 1 year membership. Have fun

John Brazelton

The museum showcases the history of Harley-Davidson from 1903-today. It is quite easy to spend a couple of hours here. Well worth the admission paid.

Chris

I’m glad that I had the opportunity to visit the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. They do a great job in telling their story and by showing the positive ways that H-D has been involved on so many fronts throughout American history - truly all American! The staff was very friendly and the museum offers a wide array of discounts for admission. BTW, the restaurant is worth trying as well!

Kevin Andre

We had an afternoon Ball game at Miller Park to attend, so we checked out the Museum beforehand. Loved it!!! Opened at 9:00 A.M. A lot to see! Great History Lesson!

Eric Hadrych

OMG wont b able to say enough!!!!! But if you love HD, then this is a must so CAPTIVATING SERIOUSLY. Yes its expensive to enter but so worth it. Especially the way they keep everything.

Scott Drolshagen

Totally cool. It's a trip through motorcycle time

Heather Rose Arguello

Great well organized museum full of history and culture and art. I am not a big Harley Davidson fan, but loved the museum and the time we spent there. There was so much detail and everything from the physics of their engines to the art behind they're logo is succinctly explained. So much fun! Bring your camera and give yourself a couple of hours to explore--there are tons of great photo ops. Don't forget to stop at the Gift Shop across the way if you want some Harley gear to take home.

Stan Rohr

Enjoyed our experience at the museum. The tour was worth the cost, Diane (name??) has been with the staff since day one and prooved a knowledgeable and interesting guide. The museum is put together well and the progression of the company history was easy to understand. Interesting to note that Harley Davidson kept a sample of a lot of the company's motorcycles from early on so what you see at the museum could very well be a " first off the assembly line bike!" And it goes without saying, AWESOME BIKES!!

That One Guy Who Plays Games

OMG wont be able say enough about this place..... Got to visit this AMAZING place of information and learn so much really cool an interesting stuff. Dont second guess it just go if your considering it......

Volha Siarheichyk

Such a cool museum! I'm not even that much into the motorcycles but I was mesmerized by their wast collection and loved reading a lot of interesting information about them. There is also a photo zone with different motorbikes so you can sit on them and strike a pose :) Last but not least I really loved the gift shop, lots of interesting souvenirs can be found there.

Murray Cowell

Sooo much to see. Food was great in the restaurant. I didn't take the guided tour but I will the next time

Dana Davidson

Amazing experience. I highly recommend doing the archives. We found that part of the tour to be the most enjoyable.

Michael Johnson

Simply amazing. A downright spiritual experience, and I'm not even religious! I am awed at the things I saw here... you can FEEL the rich, deep history.

Ryan Harrison

This review is more for the gift shop crew than anything. I was in town for a short time and bought a custom Harley-Davidson Jersey and the machine went down. The staff asked me when I was leaving town, if I could come back tomorrow if it was fixed, or drop it off and they'd ship it to me after it was back up and running. Fortunately they got it back up and running the next day and I was able to hit the road back to St. Louis after stopping in. Great team, great attitudes, and great people.

George Bambarakos

If you really like Harley Motorcycle s and their mechanical lineage it is worth the $23 bucks to get in. It's just bikes from 1903 to today. Now if you have kids or a companion that likes to ride as a passenger but not to much into the actual bike you may not want them there. It's motorcycles and specifically HD . I thought it was neat but I'm a gear head.

James Salinas

Worth the pilgrimage to see. Bikes you can not see anywhere else. The first Harley ever built. Place is high class, great people, and on Saturday, FREE test rides....Huge gift shop....what more could you want in a day?

shane buchkowski

Amazing experience even if your not into HD or motorcycles.

Ada Hanson

Harley-Davidson museum is one of the must see places if you are visiting the city of Milwaukee.Honestly, I have never been a great fan of Harley Davidson bikes but visiting the museum made me awestruck. One can spend 2 hours here easily and look at the evolution of these bikes from the time of its inception. I wish I could tell you the count of the bikes in this museum. There is also a simulation center where you can configure your own Harley and also a detailed explanation about the various engines used so far.

Jasmine N

Oddly a lot of fun. I was skeptical but my father in law wanted to go here and I am glad we did. You can finish this in about an hour and a half without any additional activities. I also would not go out of my way to see this if you were strapped for time. But if you have kids and are tired of the countless breweries in Milwaukee. Check it out. If you love motorcycles, definitely check it out!

Jesse Scott

So much beautiful history. Great fun.

Brew City Kayak

Very cool museum, even if you don’t ride! More than one visit is recommended, because there is so much to see! The restaurant has great food, as well. I highly recommend stopping in to check it all out!!

linda mathew

Nice venue with two floors top one is a banquet hall.

Ra'eesa Osama

I really enjoyed every minute there, specially the engine room was epic at least for me as a mechanical engineer

quana harden

Great customer service and the food was delicious. Will be coming back

BAD DOG

Awsome place and excellent service. Pet friendly!

Coach Cole

Awesome vintage motorcycle and history. Very cool lots to look at. Great for Milwaukee

Ray Clawson

I can’t believe the founders had the foresight to start their own collection of every single bike every made. Such a great experience!

D Gehling

The Best! No way you can absorb the in-depth Harley Davidson Experience with just one visit... No way. Staff, facilities, restaurant personnel, and parking- all great. Go. Enjoy. Absorb. It's our city's history, in one aspect, and many, many people from around the world come here to view this experience. Isn't it cool that we have this possibility right in our backyard. If you ever get the chance to meet any of the H-D families, do it. And, open yourself up to the idea that something made here can be cherished from all around the world. Pretty cool

Chris Lancaster

Coming to the museum is a pretty cool experience. It was $20.00 per adult for our entrance fee but I recommend getting the tour. Restaurant has some pretty good eats. On the way out stop in at the shop and get yourself a shirt.

Danny Zmuda

Staff was second to none. Fascinating exhibits. Lots to see.

Jo smith

The Buffalo wings are just what they should taste like and not overly saucy or spicy (I like spicy). The drinks left a little to be desired (Motor Rum Therapy). Both of our sandwiches were good. No leftovers...ok maybe a couple of fries were left. The price point was reasonable. I wanted to try the July special Mac Daddy but I chickened out.

Scott Sowa

We had a great time here. Lots of HD history and you can see the different styles of bikes throughout the decades. The restaurant was fantastic too

SERKAN YORULMAZ

Great history to visit of Harley Davidson. everyone was very friendly and helpful. First floor by the elevator they have a kids area which was nice for us.

Daniel Scheetz

Worth a stop if in the area or a Harley fan. I personally think they're an Awesome company and enjoyed seeing their history.

Kevin Stopinski

What a cool place to visit. Friday nights they are open until 9 and it's free! The people were great! Food at Motor was fantastic! If you have a few hours and you love Harley, or of you dont, this is a place you definately need to check out

matthew matecki

Well worth visiting. Lots of cool exhibits and the restaurant was outstanding

Lauren Brown

They may tell you that you only need an hour and a half to go through the museum, well, maybe, if you dont love Harley's! We spent over 5 hours here, and had lunch too. The craftmanship, the history, the stories, the memorabilia takes time to thoroughly enjoy. Wander to your hearts content.

Erich Meier

If you are Harley Davidson fan.... why haven't you been here yet? The museum offers a great tour of the progression of the bikes through the years. After the tour, visit the souvenir shop out the bar/restaurant that is also onsite.

George Moses

Fun energetic staff. Always something to see and learn

Debra Wiedemann

Wasn't sure I wanted to go here, but was actually interesting. Husband found his dream bike! I bought him a Lego version!

Eric Huebscher

Harley Davidson Museum was fantastic!! There was never I time I felt bored. There are tons of motorcycles there and many pieces of history I never knew about! Great place to visit!!

Cori Coo

Just so awesome to get to learn about the company from the very beginning to present. The museum is really well thought out and flows perfectly. I appreciate the kids corner and the place for even adults to hop on some of the special bikes!! Don't forget to visit the gift shop that has a lot of unique items to the museum. They are high quality with fair prices! Not like many museums that seem to double the price just because its stamped with the museum/location's name.

Sarah W

A landmark building which tells the story of how two iconic names became one. Motorcycles, artifacts and atmosphere combine to deliver a truly unique experience in the heart of Hog country. Go!

aldrian rostron

A great experience! We are originally from Milwaukee and had never done this before. So much history and so many motorcycles!

Kaden Reich (Student)

Good museum, nice shop, but when I went to eat food at the restaurant it was a different story. To start off, we politely asked for water and told her how we had multiple tabs. She looked frustrated at us and eventually got our orders. Blonde hair girl. Next she proceeded to not help our table at all, and before we left chose to yell at us when we didn't do anything wrong. Disappointed with the restaurant and wish I hadn't met that waitress.

AMIYA KUMAR DEKA

Lovely museum managed by Harley-Davidson Co in their campus at Milwaukee, US. Displays various models right from inception of the Co. and their usage. Particularly interesting were the models used in World War- II and models used by US police and postal service from time to time

Rodney Jackson

The museum is excellent, and fascinating, and inspiring, educational. Remarkable looking place.

Chad Martin

Awesome museum. A must for anyone passionate about motorcycles!

jason gibson

A few years late on review. I came there from Ga and knew I had to make this a definite stop, as Harley has been in my life since a kid! Loved the history, selection, stories, show cases, everything was amazing to me. Look forward to coming back with my Harley and my family!

Al Cox

If you are a fan of motorcycles then this is a place that you need to visit. Getting there and parking is very easy. Getting inside I was greeted by some very nice people who told me where how to get around the museum. I followed what they said and had a good time. The museum was divided up into different times in history. I really liked the wartime area. There was a lot of uses for a motorcycle during war that I was not aware of. Take a trip to see the motorcycles of the past and up to today. It will be worth it.

Richard Ballschmiede

Interesting and entertaining historical presentation what must be the most famous motorcycle brand in the world. And it all started in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!

Jason T. Chun

Best museum I've ever been to. All the beautiful bikes Harley-Davidson ever made. There is so much story behind its magnificent history that it just overwhelms you. You guys couldn't have done more or better. GFJ~!

Michael Castle

Outstanding museum. Two decks of HD history. Could have wandered here for another hour, had not an empty stomach demanded attention. Highly recommend this museum.

Steve Capps

The Harley museum is fun place to visit and see the history of the company and learn the different things they have been involved with over the years. There are very many displays to see. I'd suggest doing the highlighted guided tour they offer then you can walk back through and see everything else

Ronnie Sims

There is just no other museum in the world like this one. If you like museums and you are in the Milwaukee area you don't want to miss seeing it. The history of the motorcycle from start to present is so amazing. And if you are a Harley fan it is even more interesting. We also ate at the motor restaurant and bar there next to the museum. The food and beer was excellent. I highly recommed it. We visited Aug. 20, 2019

Marion Mccarty

A little spendy. Worth it if you enjoy history. Learned a lot today.

Scott Turk

From the second that you walk in the MASSIVE doors of the museum until you walk back out it's like a mind numbing, speechless, difficult to explain event. To honestly be able to take everything in you'd need 2 days to properly take it all in. I most definitely will be back!

Tony Gray

Very nice museum to see the history of Harley Davidson, an iconic American brand like Coca Cola or Hershey’s. A bunch of bikes from many different decades including serial number 1, HD’s first production bike. Super cool for enthusiasts or casual fans of Harley Davidson.

Nick Guthrie

Great museum! Large, fun, and historic! Definitely check out the restaurant!

Beau Butterfield

Well worth a visit especially if you have an interest in the history of such an iconic brand. Great displays of the motorcycles through the years and also offers insight into the working of their engines.

Janine Powell

Very interesting, although not an ardent biker it was fascinating, liked all the history etc and how great to have a few bikes to sit on, brilliant. Cafe was full and buzzing, and the shop.

Ryan Frauenhoffer

The museum was amazing. Everything you would expect and more. The gift shop was a bit underwhelming. We expected more than your typical Harley dealership. Not at all what we got. Overall awesome experience.

amy maske

The museum was very informative and the behind the scenes tour was the best part. If you are a huge Harley rider it is absolutely worth the stop. The food at the MOTOR restaurant is top notch as well. Went along on trip to support hubby but am now a Harley rider for life. Great place to visit.

Donna McClain

Museum is loaded with history. The restaurant was fast and friendly and not too expensive. The shop was smaller than I thought it would be. Overall a fun visit.

Preeti Paliwal

If you are Harley Davidson fan then you will love the place. Free ride is available until 4pm

Vikas Kapil

Its a Mecca for the bike lovers , the story of Harley Davidson motorcycles and you can feel the history around it here. They have all sort of bikes from the past. You will enjoy clicking pictures and understanding the mechanics of bikes.

Smitha Rao

Great place to learn about the history of Harley Davidson and view some of the most iconic models. It's a wonderful museum with plenty of opportunities to take memorable pictures.

Janice Lynch

Harley-Davidson culture is wild. I've wanted to come to the museum since I moved here about two years ago. I am happy I can finally say I've been! Admission prices are steep for adults, but the museum itself is extensive. There are some interactive exhibits and an innumerable amount of bikes for you to look at. You can even sit on some at the end and have your picture taken. The only part of the museum that confused me was going down the fuel hallway. They lead you to an elevator to go look at the archives, but the archives are locked. So everyone unloads from an elevator to have to be corralled back in soon after. I thought that was a little weird. Other than that you should definitely check this place out -- especially if you are a motorcycle enthusiast!

Roland Rau

The best it could be. Spent 5-1/2 hours in there and still didn't see it all. The restaurant was real good too.

Robert Taylor

Wonderful people and staff. They treat everyone very kind. With Veterans they give us the upmost respect and support for our sacrifices we made for our Country and all of the people of the United States.

Jack Kosmoski

Used to really like this museum – then was surprised to learn that they they won’t allow Boy Scouts to do a fundraiser on premise - not even outside. Boy Scouts is about as American as apple pie. Truly disappointed.

Brian Marshall

Such a great museum, it has to be one of the best in the country. So many beautiful bikes, everything from the first Harley to Captain America's Harley. I would highly recommend spending a couple hours here when visiting Milwaukee.

Fernando Reyero Noya

The museum is a little jewel. One can see it in 45-60 minutes comfortably or spend a couple of hours without feeling overwhelmed. Even when I ride a different kind of motorcycle, the museum made me dream of the magic and panache of experiencing a Harley. Their guest services are superb and their museum, Motor, is fun. Their ribs are good. For me, the HD gatherings on Thursdays are always a blast. The atmosphere is welcoming to all sorts of riders. Check it out!

Jordan Nering

I waited so long to go see it and being there in person will leave you speachless... I was lucky to go with my amazing wife to celebrate our tenth anniversary.... I love it...

Fat Muscle Inc

Absolutely amazing piece of motorcycle history! Awe inspiring and very educational. Recommend to anyone in or visiting Milwaukee!

Bill Barnews

Born to ride, ride to live! What an awesome place to learn about Murica! Harley makes the best motorcycles and has the best museum too!

Karl Ostby

Great experience of American history even if you aren't a biker.

J H

I love this place. Great decor, great waist staff, fully staff bar, and great food. pictures of an overlooked because of the location is off the road but always a good place for a quick bite to eat or a social event. especially during the summer time during bike night and other events during the week. If your traveling to this great city this is a must check out place.

Ninten Nol

I mean pay a little extra and you can come all you want through the year. So I'm doing that. Taking in a little bit here and there riding over on my bicycle in beautiful MKE. It's a very extensive museum. Covering a lot of history, showing a lot of bikes from the beginnings to now. Thinking of which I want to find a bicycle museum. There's motor demonstrations and evolutions of how they've created them. As well as so so so so much more. So yeah get that year pass and take it in a little at a time.

Milan Bekrich

Beautiful place! True American-made motorcycles. Very nice display of bike history. I especially enjoyed the flags on the river. GO U.S.A.!!!! Looking forward to Labor Day weekend celebrations. Thank you very much, hard working Harley-Davidson staff! Ride hard or stay home! Lol! Milan.

ebicman25

The best place to visit if you love Harley Davidsons

Nagdev Amruthnath

I visited this place for labor day weekend. They had a bike rally going on which was a bonus as I could see more bikes. This place has rich history of harley davidson motorcycles. I was impressed with their collection. When we walked in there was a small line and got our tickets with breeze. Then they have free locker service which is neat too. The two story museum takes atleast 2 to 3 ours to see everything. The museum was very clean. One thing that i could complain about is lack of trash cans inside and i stall restroom inside the museum which is a bummer when it gets crowded.

Douglas Thiel

So much to see and so much to learn. Loved it

Marque Rogers

My wife our son and daughter had so much fun here. These motorcycles were so much history under one roof. It was definitely a great experience to walk those halls and see our history. Wisconsin strong my brothers and sisters, take life one ride at a time. The area of the museum where kids can try on clothes and pose, my daughter had a blast. We were over taken with smiles laughs and extreme Awe and the motorcycle.

Jeffrey Lilly

Nicely designed displays packed with historic machines and ephemera. Good restaurant and gift shop. Great location using an old industrial area in Milwaukee. Interesting even for people not normally into motorcycles.

Tom Souther

Harley Davidson, the greatest motorcycle with a great museum. If you are into Harley's or motorcycles in general you will not be disappointed.

Nice museum! Nice staff and great exhibits. Cool stuff!

Lance Peters

Great place to visit highly recommend everybody has a look at it. Part of our history

Mike Mohr

Paid extra for the Audio tour. Excellent information, but the layout was so difficult to follow! I certainly got my exercise walking around and around each exhibit, because the audio would describe a bike on one side then the other side, then back again. And the some of the exhibits on the audio, we never found. But the selection of bikes was fantastic.

Jill Hauck

Love this Museum everytime I go. Always something new to see and the clothes are great.

Andrew Rettmann

Pretty rad museum giving you the ins and outs, The Who’s who, linear timelines, and overall evolution of- the Harley Davidson. I came here while visiting friends and family to enjoy a slow day with my dad and we had a good ol time. My favorite part was probably the Evel Knievel arcade game

Lia Risser

Worth it even if you aren't into motorcycles. This muesum is very well laid out. It's worth going to the third floor using the elevator in the back to see the maintenance area and all the motorcycles that are in storage, I think a lot of people miss this area. My family spent a couple of hours here even though we aren't into motorcycles. I would imagine if you are into the history of Harley-Davidson you could spend even longer in this Museum. Absolutely worth the trip.

James McGuane

I had a great time looking at the transition of motorcycle design for over 100 years. The history is fascinating. The engine room was very educational. I really enjoyed sitting a current model bike, starting it up, and shifting through the gears. A marketing stratagem. Overall, great museum but a bit pricey at $20 a head admission.

Chris Henson

Friendly staff, good food, and the prices were not that bad.

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Extensive collection of memorabilia, history, and bikes dating back to the beginning in 1903! Has some interesting interactive exhibits - including bikes you can sit on and start. Restaurant has excellent food and staff.

Alexander Rojewski

Awesome walk through the history of Harley, and the food and beer at Motor was a great way to end the trip.

Marc Bohn

You can easily spend a whole day depending on how deeply you want to know the history of Harley Davidson.

Nice place to check out company history and their evolution. Came here for team get-together. Good service, clean venue, nice view from the bar/restaurant. Old buildings in the backdrop and the river. Plenty of parking available on site.

Thomas Ward

Love going here great sights and people are polite and never had a bad experience here!

I LOVED THE TOUR!!! I am not normally a big fan of motorcycles but this tour changed my mind with the education that was given. Amazing how Harley-Davidson help form our country.

Francis D.

Great place to see Great bikes from ALL eras . TY HD for maintaing and showing these bikes .

Cons: Feet were sore because nowhere to sit. Pros: Great historical info and just about every bike by year that Harley has made. There is a really nice bar & grill where you can meet other travelers from all over the world. They had three different IPAs on tap, but they were $6.50 each. H. O. G. members get in free. We paid extra for the audio headset, which was nice. We didn't get a chance to see the rest of the grounds because our feet were sore. They were setting up a band area for the next day. We visited on Thursday.

One of must-see’s in downtown Milwaukee. You will see how a local pride started in a cottage by four young men with enthusiasm, perseverance and insight of future and evolved into a king of motorcycle and became a part of American culture. Highly recommended. Parking is free. $20 admission for adult.

Whether you are a motorcycle enthusiast or not, if you have any appreciation for engines or history, this is a must visit place when in Milwaukee. The museum has a model of nearly every Harley since the founding of the business in 1903. The atmosphere is open, clean, and easy to traverse on your journey through America's motorcycle company history. Good restaurant across the street along with souvenir shop.

Great place to explore the birth of the legend of the Harley Davidson motorcycle! My husband and I both ride our own Harley's, so when we came to Milwaukee to see a concert, we knew we had to visit the Harley Museum too. We were not disappointed! Also I got in for free because I bought my Harley in the last year, and I'm part of the HOG. We both had a blast!

Joshua Stoddard

My wife and I took the guided tour it was such a good experience. It was nice learning about the history of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Lots to see also cool that they let you drive the 2018 bikes that are available if you have your motorcycle license.

Leone Shaw

Fantastic, went labor weekend and enjoyed all the festivities. Museum is worth the look at! Highly Recommend.

Phil Driskill

A truely special place. So many things to see and do. Take your time and experience everything. Have some fun!

What an awesome place. Even if you're not a lifelong Harley fan there's more to do and see here than I would've thought. If you factor in the museum tour and really checking things out you could easily spend more than a day here looking at all the bikes/memorabilia, add the additional displays (Daredevils right now, changes regularly), the free demo rides of new models, the shops, the restaurants & watering holes, the events centers, the nearby attractions, it really is a heck of a spot. The museum portion alone is really unbelievable though. For a Harley enthusiast, it's eyeball overload every inch of the way. Extremely well done.

Thomas Fister

Decent museum if you love motorcycles, definitely could use some work on the kid’s section. Not much there. So would not call this super kid friendly

Sanghee Moon

The museum was open to public for free tonight. My wife said it was a gallery night. I am not sure how much the general admission is, but the museum was very well organized and maintained! Staffs were also very helpful and friendly. Don't forget to visit the shop!

Clinton Pedigo

Good place to be if you're a motorcycle fan or enthusiast. Thursday night Bike Night amas awesome to see.

Nate Petrusha

It was worth the price of admission. We spent several hours there. Very well put together place.

Garry Knowles

Absolutely essential for any H-D fan!. See at least one model from every year of their history. Those interested in social change over the years will see just how influential Harley has been in leading change

Travis Antone

One of the best Museums I've ever been to yet. They offer free admission for HOG members and for 4 dollars extra for regular admission you can get headphones which totally changes the way you view exhibits because you can listen to information and stories instead of having to sit and read everything. I will definitely return.

Dan K

Great collection of old and new bikes. Enjoys reading the stories and history of the bikes.

Kelly Melvin

I walked the three levels band looked in all the availabile to the public and while there is a section for military, polo, fashion I was very disappointed there was no representation of minority riders and their influence in the Harley Davidson culture. Not a picture of the great Bessie Stringield and she vwas an icon. Great museum more diversity is necessary.

Harley-Davidson motorcycles bring heart-thumping adventure, life-changing freedom and a bit of rebellion into the lives of people around the world. But whether you were born to be wild - or mild - makes no difference at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Much more than a nostalgia trip for motorcycle enthusiasts, the Museum offers a glimpse of American history and culture like you've never seen before - through the successes and trials of an iconic American company. Interactive, eye-catching exhibits present an unparalleled collection of legendary stories of our nation's last century. Located on 20 acres in downtown Milwaukee, the Museum offers free parking, Motor Bary & Restaurant, Cafe Racer, The Shop, park-like outdoor spaces, special event rentals, guided tours for group of 15 or more, and Steel Toe Tours of the Powertrain Operations, home of the big-twin engine.

Common Sense

I attended a lovely wedding reception at the Chrome Text. This is a very large and comfortable venue. The space was perfect for this type of function. The food was fantastic. I will definitely for any of my future functions.

Best place ever!!!!. First class operation, customer service was top notch. Restaurant on campus was outstanding. Specially events posted by the museum are outstanding. We saw the Milwaukee philharmonic playing while videos of motorcycle mayhem played in a background outstanding show. If you have never gone to the museum best recommended stop, and must see.

This is my second trip to the museum. I highly recommend the nearby "steel toe tour" at the power plant facility and the "behind the scenes" tour at the museum itself. Super friendly and very knowledgeable folks. The on site restaurant is amazing and the gift shop huge. The museum is so fll of rich history and some amazing up close and personal displays including Harley Davidson #1. We literally spent the entire day there qand loved every minute of it. If you are a fan of Harley or motorcycles in general, you do not want to miss this.

Buff Pablo

O.K. I'm a BIG Harley fan so that probably has something to do with my rating, but that's who most of the visitors to this museum should be. I'm not sure why you would go if you weren't. I feel the museum was very well done. It gave me a greater appreciation of the brand and the history/impact Harley has had in the U.S. It's a shame the brand gets such a bad rap recently. As far as people saying the admission and food is overpriced, I don't get that either. $22 is pretty standard for something like this. I'd expect to pay $15-$20 so I was o.k. with it. Most of the food items are in the $10 - $13 range so not sure what people are complaining about. Do they want fast food prices? The food was very good too! We had the cheeseburger and fries. Very good quality, flavor & portion plus the beer was ice cold. They know bikers love their burgers and beer so they better do it right. A must stop for any Harley owner. Not only is the museum well done, but the entire complex is well designed and offers plenty of picture opportunities.
