REVIEWS OF Discovery World IN Wisconsin

Justin Kasdorf

This was an amazing venue for the fundraiser I attended. Discovery World extends out into Lake Michigan, making it an incredibly special place to hold an event. The food was delicious from their kitchen and they did a wonderful job serving 550 dinners and fitting those people into their hall. On a nice summer day, there is a beautiful outside area to enjoy with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. This was fancy, elegant, fun and a great place for anyone to learn and discover.

Vanessa Grimes

Always love this place. So many things for the kids. Appeals to all ages in different ways. They love the weather exhibit ever since the one gentleman allowed them to start the "storm" we like to just watch it. The hands on is always great. For this visit, we were at a private event after hours. Really great how they handled everything. Museum was open for us and we had a large room for a band and dinner. The pavilion was open and gave great views and wonderful pictures!

Sandra Thomas

We had fun need to go back was there four hours and still didn't see everything. My daughter really enjoyed herself.

Charanjeev Obhan

Location Lakeside 5* Exhibits 5* Staff is super helpful 5* - special shout out to Laura - the way she wore a smile and managed to interact with people at the Amphitheater - that was a refreshing experience.

Raven Jaxsnerdymommy

I didn’t go to Discovery World for the museum, I went for an event. The event space was so nice that I would recommend this space for a reception. The windows wrap around the whole room so you see the lake from all directions.

Riley Moe

Place needs a few updates. But still fun.

Jason Schuster

Very cool. Both kids 7 and 2 were running around excited at the aquarium and science areas. My wife and I also really enjoyed watching them and playing ourself.

Coleen Miller

First time there, took my daughter we loved it. Very informative and not too pricey, I love that its self guided.

Bonnie Beenken

Great place for both kids and adults. Aquarium is first class! Can touch sting rays and sturgeon fish. Many interactive learning exhibits for all ages. Plenty of restrooms. Underground parking garage for up to 200 cars - cost is reasonable for Milwaukee area.

Katie Simon

Awesome place to visit!!! This was a perfect stop along our journey. Daughter loved seeing the aquarium and touching all the interactive displays.

nadeem alam

Abeeha take a promise to me to go there

Rebecca Menk

Great date "night" will be coming back with our daughter

Andrey S

Very entertaining and fun, a lot of things to learn. Summer camp is great experience for kids!

Jerub Methum

We have been members since 2015 and it has provided a fun learning environment for our family since. We enjoy the proximity to the lake front and all it offers. There are many new exhibits that have rejuvenated the main floor. Relaxing in the aquarium or the ship areas is enjoyable and offers great views in climate controlled environment(great with Wisconsin winters). One of the many benefits are the free admission to the Museum of Science and Industry and Field Museum in Chicago. We use this 2-3 times a year and the cost savings for this pays for the membership fee at least twice.

Stephanie Gibbs

So fun! You should definitely check this place out if you haven't yet! The kids love will love it they have such interesting things to see and do. Petting the stingrays were such a cool experience that was our favorite part hands down!!

Sarah Redding

This place is awesome. It is hard to find a place both my boys enjoy. There was tons of stuff to do and see. I ended up getting a year membership which is worth it if you plan on going back and have a large family.

John Mitchell

A lot of things to do with activities for all age groups. Tons of fun, while also learning. Well worth the cost as it was a full day's worth of activity for my kids (8, 9 and 10).

Daniel Annear

Such a cool place that accommodates menu different types of events

Angela Grimm

Great interactive museum for kids and adults.

Elisa Lücke

A great museum, everything to touch and join in. We especially liked the replica of a nuclear reactor. Unfortunately, most of the experiments were without explanation, which should be improved in my eyes definitely. The guitar exhibition was also a highlight for us.

Nichole Urban

The price is a little steep and you pretty much have to pay to park but the place is amazing!!! So much to do and definitely can spend a whole day there. I adore the aquarium and the tall ship. You won't be disappointed just plan on spending a lot of money.

C. S. Tappen

Great museum. There is plenty to do there. We got the ASTC museum pass so the visit there was free. The 4 kids (2-10) liked it and they had a place to eat lunch if you bring a cooler. Perfect place to stop if you're going to Chicago from up north.

Rival DJ

Amazing hands on learning museum for kids!!

C G

Fun but for 2 adults and 2 kids 70 bucks is a little high

fasihuddin siddiqui

We were at Discovery World for a private event. The venue was amazing. The aquarium was a ton of fun for the kids. The service and catering was on point. And everyone was incredibly friendly. Definitely would recommend.

許志忠

Definitely a great deal to spend you weekend with children here. Combine science and amusement together is a interesting idea. Hope everyone enjoys it!

Irie Lott

Aquarium. Hands on science. Tech. Brain games. So many interactive displays. Milwaukee and Pittsburgh are top of our list for science centers (We're from MI)!

Heather Branson

Great place to spend a few hours. My boys (ages 6 and 8) enjoyed the whole experience. Everything is hands on and allows kids to experience science in an engaging way.

J Bethea

Great place to bring my grandchildren

Pam Lever-Johnson

Great place! Staff great at their job, food fantastic.

Daniel Ulanicki

Absolutely loved it, plenty of activities for kids of all ages. Great automated robotic exhibit that produces a nice take home.

Matteo Verzola

Museum is great and lots of fun for kids and grown ups. Unfortunately food is HORRIBLE, I would suggest getting food outside of the museum.

Yorgo Latimer

When Discovery World first opened it was largely empty. They have added exhibits and experiences every year since then, and there is really something for everyone here. When the kids were little we could spend HOURS just with them exploring the boat built into the building, and as they've gotten older they like the aquarium, especially with the walk-through tunnel where fish are all around you, the bed of nails, the area with all the different gears, and the area where you can make a custom foam cut-out toy. There are different wings housing different sections of the exhibits, so you need to make sure you don't miss anything.

Martina Barnat

Amazing museum! Great fun for children and adults! Very hands on exhibits. Highly recommend if you're visiting the Milwaukee area!

Gabby Veneziano

I enjoyed this museum very much! Many interactive hands on learning experiences! My personal favorite was the wave example where you can control the waves depending on the type of power source! Will definitely come again!

Carina Macorncan

My nephews loves this place So much things to do and to see. Great for kids and adult. Great place for kids to understand science and the aquriam was nice. There are three tanks that u could pet.

marc cegielski

Great place to take your kids. Our first grader gets more and more out of this place every time we are here. Become members, you will be back again and again.

Danielle Fiveland

I’ve been to this museum a few times now and my experience is always consistent. Not only is the museum very interactive, educational, and fun, but the staff are incredible. I work with special needs and we brought our group of 13 in. I was greeted happily at the ticket counter by Mike! Who saw my group and thanked us for our service with these guys, as well as took the time to tell us the best spots for our guys. We had the best time and even ran into Mike again as we were leaving and he still had a big smile on his face and wished us well! This environment is welcome to all and always worth the trip. 5/5! THANKS MIKE! #seedsofhope

Kristen Harper

Our family really enjoyed Discovery World, from ages 3-75! We would definitely go back again - although we will call ahead next time to see how many field trips will be there to try and avoid large crowds.

MicheleFelice Bohlmann

Fantastic museum with so much to see and do. A wonderful rainy day outing for the entire family. We especially enjoyed all of the fish tanks and the Les Paul exhibit with the famous guitars.

Chris J

We spent a couple hours at Discovery World on Scout Day. There were about 20 in our group. I really enjoyed it. The section with the gear driven machines/toys was very interesting. If you take the time to watch how they work, you'll appreciate how complicated the movements are. The aquarium area had a nice variation of fresh water life. Some of the scouts want to go back, some of the older ones got bored after our third hour there. I'd say three hours was about enough it see it all.

Giselbert Parkhurst

The best place to take your kids. Plan to spend at least 3 hours. Incredible maker space, VR games, flight and driving simulators, robot tic tac toe, and do not forget the aquarium and water exhibits. We could have stayed much longer! Covered parking is available for $10 or so, also plenty of free parking on the street. Note- maker space was crowded with a 45 minute wait.

Kate Underwood

Discovery World has a ton of fun hands-on activities and learning experiences for kids! We have used our membership at least half a dozen times this year and it never disappoints. So much fun, you can bring in a picnic, and you get great views of the water from much of the museum.

Doraliz Hernaiz

We had a great time. My daughter enjoyed touching a lake sturgeon and a stingray. I loved to learn about the Deep Tunnel and all the interactive stations.

Elizabeth Anderson

Awesome museum. We spent more time here than we expected we would want to. 4 adults a 7 year old and we spent around 4 hours. Lots of hands on stuff, and a touch tank in the aquarium section with sting rays and sturgeon.

Peter Puetz

The aquarium was really great. The fish are displayed so that I felt I was in their environment. The tech area was kinda cool but I think the old displays appealed to me more. Enjoyed the time spent.

Brian Kostrzewa

This is an amazing science center. The variety of activities is impressive. They are multiple hands on activities available for all age groups. My family and I love coming here.

Nicholas Schmidt

Opted for this on the one of the hottest days of the year and we more than happy with the choice. The volume of interactive displays for the kids was nearly overwhelming; I'm sure there was plenty we didn't get to despite spending 5 hours there. The science crafts on the second floor were a particular hit, as was the sturgeon petting tank in the aquarium. The adults were facinated by the scale and detail put into the Great Lakes model, complete with rain, lock, and cities. Instead of going on, we'll just plan on heading back and taking in more for ourselves.

Debbie Bryant

We did a scout overnight. Do not go to the theater show if you di a scout overnight. Better to explore.

betanum1

We visited on Friday 6/14 with 6 children (ages 7-14). After arriving we found out we were extremely lucky and this was one of the least crowded days ever. Milwaukee public schools got out the day before and camps hadn’t started yet. We chose to purchase a membership because the cost with parking was a way better deal with the bonus of unlimited visits (paying only $6 parking) for the year. We were able to park right in front of the elevator door that gave us easy access to go to the car, grab our lunches, bring them up to the large entry way where there was table seating and an amazing view of Lake Michigan. Not sure on a crowded day how much room there will be. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, and were able to go right in. We spent 4 plus hours in the museum and aquarium! The kids loved the blending of all the hands-on interactive exhibits and the live aquarium. They were also able to board and explore a large ship, walk outside and see a real ship on Lake Michigan on the board walk and enjoy the beautiful weather and views. A great find, we can’t wait to go back!

Seb B

I Took an inquisitive 10 year old who has been to Discovery World several times - my first time. I highly recommend - it was like she was there for the first time. Some suggestions: - arrive early so you can park in the garage lot below (It's about $12 for 6 hours - less for less time) - go to the virtual experience first as the line gets long as the day goes on - Make time for the aquarium as it is impressive - bring hand sanitizer....they have it, but it would save time to have your own - Save some $ and consider packing a lunch and put in cooler in your car if you park in garage below. It's very easy and quick to get it and bring back to tables at the cafe area. - If you are a member of a museum in your home town, you may qualify to get a member fee, so be sure to ask.

Betsy Shortt

I saw Discovery World on every list of things to do and places to take kids in Milwaukee and honestly I’m a little flummoxed. There are a handful of exhibits that seem to be well thought out, but if you are expecting the quantity and variety of exhibits in similarly priced museums, lower your expectations. We had a very pleasant visit, but it just wasn’t worth the price or the hype. The aquarium is a nice feature, but again, lower your expectations- it is basically a large room. If you are traveling from afar, I’d skip it and go to the Milwaukee Public Museum instead.

Julia Strobos

Went to the poison exhibit at the public museum. It was fun just hard cause had to read the boards and there was a lot of information. So when there was a lot of people had wait 5 min to get to read. Also made it very long. Unless you are a fast reader. Needed more videos and moved the problem solving closer to the middle. Just to break up all the reading. I love reading but in public it hard maybe if they had the option of an auditory tour would make it fun as well.

Alex Miller

Awesome exhibits for both children and adults. They are fun and intriguing for mostly younger ages but the aquarium is for everyone

Joe Longpre

Great aquarium and science center. There are things for all ages. I just wish they had a bigger snack area (there were huge lines).

Casey Melcher

Fun museum with interactive displays. The location is beautiful. Great for kids and still fun for adults. The aquarium portion is very neat.

Quiwda K

My family and I have loads of fun here. It is very educational and the kids can burn 9ff loads of energy. I would suggest getting the yearly membership. They offer a discount when you work for certain companies other wise, it is a bit pricey for a daily pass (my opinion) it is worth it though.

Dylan Gilje

Be amazed from the hands on machanical exhibits to the aquarium. Great for learning about Milwaukee's history to water conservation. Discovery World is an all around enjoyable & educational family & friends day trip \m/

Elizabeth Stroik

Love going here! My little boy loves it, but there's fun things to explore for every age.

Eric Heintz

Such an exciting and wonderful place to explore and learn! A great place for children and adults alike! The aquarium is a fun little excursion as well.

Ravi Nagavarapu

We have been card carrying members for an year and it has been a good experience. For younger children who typically fixate on one exhibit at a time, it is great to have a wide variety that allows each visit to focus on one portion of the available activities. These activities span from water recycling setups to an aquarium to robotics to a crafts room. Given the long winters in this part of the world - having a "go-to" option is a great idea.

John Allen

Awesome place it was a brilliant experience and i really enjoyed myself and the staff was astounding and so nice and showed us how to do things we didnt know how to

Lynette Willsey-Schmidt

Phenomenal location to bring kids of all ages! The aquarium is small but mighty with some wonderful exhibits and lots of learning. The technology and science areas are chock full of things to learn and experience. Our three girls had a fantastic time and so did all the grown ups accompanying them!

Matt Rynkiewicz

A great place to learn and a great musical venue along with the wonderful modern sailing ship the Denis Sullivan

my business

Fun place to take kids. Lots of neat activities for them to do. A plethora to learn and explore. My daughter loved it. Staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. Underground parking was pretty full.

Nicki Luang

Great place for kids to learn new things/see.

William Leskinen

For those that think that Milwaukee’s Discovery World is just for kids, they haven’t experienced the Les Paul’s House of Sound. One of the most famous guitars “The Log’ is on display in exhibit along with a history of guitars made or named after Les Paul. Definitely a must see exhibit for guitar enthusiasts.

Jonathan Odegard

I brought my daughter, and I've got to be honest... I think I had more fun than she did. It was very interesting and clean. We both learned a lot and had tons of fun. Great daddy daughter date.

Ada Hanson

For our wedding anniversary, my wife and I took advantage of visiting Discovery World for the first time. We were not disappointed. We started out by paying for admission and were given senior discounts. Included in my admission was still another discount - that of being a military veteran. We were then given a few minutes of discussion by the person checking us in (he had the time since nobody was behind us). He explained the many things we could take advantage of at Discovery World. So off we went to the aquarium side and spent a good amount of time on the several floors of displays. Some, were absolutely amazing in size and the variety of fish was incredible. There were exhibits where things like rays or sand dollars (?) could actually be touched by people in their exhibit. We met several people who worked at Discovery World and everyone was friendly and helpful and full of information. Nice! We especially like the huge display of the Great Lakes. In a large room was this display of the five lakes, to scale and with large cities in the appropriate locations. There were numerous animal displays around the larger display. While it was nice to see this large exhibit, one should take advantage of going half way up a staircase and look back down on the display. This will afford you the opportunity to "take it all in".

Gregory Kimura

A fun museum that is an afternoon well spent. You'll do a good amount of walking and have a variety of things to interact with.

Cindy Van Vreede

Great place for a banquet. The food was fantastic.

John Incha

This museum was awesome! The interactive exhibits did an excellent job of highlighting various scientific concepts. There is also an entire museum dedicated to talking about water, which contains a small aquarium and discusses how water is managed in a city. I recommend this museum to people of any age.

Jurrone Petry

Always been a fun experience since I was a kid! Very nice and open!

Edalia Vega

It's beautiful by the lake, awesome view at any angle.

Marwan Obeidat

Kids had fun, some staff were interested in interacting with kids but some were not. Nice lake views. You can bring your lunch with u if you want, small cafe is available too. A lot of interactive activities for the kids. Parking can be free on the side of the road.

Tom Sinthe

My kids love this place. Take them once a year and are always wanting more at the end of the day! Great for driving curiosity.

Betty Jo Kiefert

Discovery World is Fantastic for Family fun. Never have to say "Don't Touch". Visit the Stingrays, make and explore science, become part of Science. Great little Cafe or bring your own lunch.

Steve Kummer

This place is excellent, educational and fun! And right on the beautiful lakefront. The aquarium is excellent with the see-through floor windows. Loved the interactions with the sturgeon and sting rays.

William N.

Best place to take kids during the winter in Milwaukee! We spent the whole day here.

Mr Skoolie

My son is obsessed with physics. Thank you for giving this creating this playground catalyst for learning.

Michael Wales

Highly recommend! We killed 3-4 hours here with a 4 & 13 year old. The exhibits were entertaining and educational for the entire group, even the adults. Flight simulators, virtual reality, laser cutting toys, robots, and an aquarium - this place has it all.

ami 000

Great experience, great customer services so many different things to see, touch and do. A one of a kind experience. Can't wait to go back !

Timothy Koons

Fantastic museum! Great exhibits and treat fun for kids & adults! Loved the aquarium too!

Margaret Bakic

First time at Discovery World. Went on the free day to see if it would be worth it. There is so much to see and do that we didn't have enough time to explore everything. Definitely will get a membership to come back over and over again! Thanks for the opportunity to check in out for free

David Uselmann

This is an excellent place for a family day trip. We have been here several times and it was fun for us adults as well as for the kids. Evry time they had a craft and activity as well. I also attended as a school field trip which they accommodated.

Rachael Crowell

Very cool, very educational. SWARMED with children, though - kind of ruined it for me and my daughter with all these kids running around with little supervision from adults. But the displays were really awesome.

Teddy Smithson

Grandchildren really enjoyed this place. We go every time we're here. Grands are always showing us something new every time we get to be with them... Have a GREATLY BLESSED DAY!!!

Jacob Swatek

This place is a blast! As a preface - I'm 22 and was here with my parents and my sister, who's 20. Despite that, we still found all the different exhibits to be fun in their own unique way. I highly recommend this place regardless of your age. See if you can beat my record in the Sausage Race :)

Terry Tornow

Lot's if great interactive displays ranging from history, the water cycle, physics, mechanics, robotics, electricity, boating and even am aquarium. Lots to touch, feel, see and do. I wouldn't say there is much to do for younger kids (toddlers), but for slightly older kids there is a plethora of information. Plus a great setting along the lakefront!

Maria Jenkins

Lots of educational exhibits. Only why let Seniors in free when so much of overall exhibits were under construction?

Erica Diaz

This museum/aquarium is right on the lake. All of the staff is so happy and just seems to really enjoy their jobs. I even saw an employee helping a family who had a little girl who's hem was unraveling. I mean that's just great. There is so much to see an experience here. This is a very interactive place and it really keeps everyone in the family participating. If you go while it is cool outside be sure to wear layers because you will have to unlayer...it gets warm in there! Lol did I mention you will love this place??

Michael Blasius

This museum is great for kids and adults alike. There are a lot of hands-on exhibits here that is bound to excite everyone’s curiosity. They have mechanical, electrical, and technical areas. You can play four-square with a robot, drive a simulated race car, and even pet some fish. The location is wonderful and getting in and out of the facility is a breeze.

Helme Castro

Entertaining, creative, relevant, modern, well organized, right size. Perfect for families and science-curious.

Nicole Peller-Smith

Great time. Enjoyed the new display's since our last visit. Good snack area.

Lance Truong

Great for kids. I don't have a kid

Michael Pluta

We have a family membership to this museum, and we love to visit regularly. Whether we are going for a scheduled special event like Engineering Day, Sundae Sunday or to see a traveling exhibit, or just looking for a great place to pass an afternoon, my children absolutely love the Discovery Museum.

Sara Naatz

My kiddo and I had a great afternoon at discovery world. Lots to do for a budding scientist/ inventor

David Blumenthal

So many exciting things! I took my 9 year old daughter. Her favorite was the flight simulator ( she did some barrel rolls and ended up crashing in the lake). I especially liked the Tesla coil with chain mail gloves you could put your hands in and let yourself get zapped!

Nate Huitt

This is a great place to take kids off all ages! My 3 1/2 year old had a blast. There were a lot of things he was too young to understand, but introducing them to it early gives them a want to discover and learn more.

Cassandra Mae Lanich

Very nice visit kids loved it! It was free so very packed but had a good time.

Cooking Secrets For Men

Was there for Live at The Lakefront, nice venue for outdoor events

Tammy H

I just love this place and so do the kids :) Loaded with fun activities and positioned perfectly on Lake Michigan with beautiful views.

Cherrie Nass

A-MA-ZING!!! Cool stuff for kids & adults. We took our 3 & 6 yr olds. Full day of fun for all. We stayed until closing & had to pull the kids out as they wanted to stay.

Carrie M

It's a fun place to take the kids. Very educational. Good for little kids all the way to teenagers! The layout is the only down side for me. It was hard to get around from exhibit to the next and not well marked. Still a really fun experience. We'll be back!

Lisa Fox

Very educational fun environment. Loved the lab experiment the kids did! They loved petting the fish!

Sharvari Shinde

A must visit location if you are in Milwaukee. There is a lot to explore and learn here. This is a great place for families and children too. We visited last weekend and stayed there for almost 3 hours going through their exhibits one at a time. They have a lot of interactive exhibits so exploring the entire place will take a lot of time. The Reiman Aquarium is a wonderful place which has animal encounters, incredible information about the great lakes and lovely aquatic creatures. They also have ample parking space, reasonable tickets with discounted tickets for seniors, veterans and college students.

Fausto Chavez

Great place to bring your children, has an aquarium downstairs.

Ryan Reviews

This is an amazing place for both children and adults. Interactive exhibits, based around STEM learning. It can be extremely busy at peak times, making it difficult to get the full experience. Flight simulator, race car, virtual reality, wind tunnel, just to name a few. I suggest a membership.

Kenny Lovas

1st time they're very interesting

Julio Santiago

Great place to visit with little kids

Hannah DuBois

Gets better and better as I get older. The exhibits are really cool and hands on. You can spend the entire day in the craft room.

Bryan Cook

Great exhibits and a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. Unfortunately we were there when they were doing a lot of maintenance so a few of the cooler exhibits were closed but it's still worth it. The aquarium is really nice and a great feature.

Michelle Pryor

Amazing place for family fun day outing, great event's and also to all star wars fans there will be a star wars event on October 15th at discover world you can meet all your favorite characters from the movie and dress in your favorite star wars costume. Great deal on family membership as well. Reasonable prices for everything discovery world has to offer and enjoy.

Moises Alcazar

Awesome place for all ages. More than a museum. The aquarium is very unique. The day went fast.

Michael Eggert

Great Learning place. Excellent camps. Great Service!

Beth Croft

Such a great hands on science muesum. Plus there are a ton of aquarium animals to see and touch. It is also on lake Michigan so you are able to sight see and walk around by the lake!

Kathy Doty

AMAZING! Something for every member of the family! Got a family membership and have gone twice in two weeks! Loved both trips and there's still more to see!

Haripon Prabakhar

Kids will love this place.

Dana Johnson

I've been here with a seven year old and it was great. Thank your typical Science Museum. If you're smart already know most of the stuff in there, but unless you're smug genius, you'll still learn something. My last visit was for a party in the Pilot House. Awesome place. You get covered veranda with perfect views of the lake, harbor, Festival grounds, fireworks, and of course the art museum . The indoors seems like a perfect place to turn into whatever you want - easily decorated. Since five friends that night told me they considered having their wedding here, I'm guessing it's a little pricey, but all of them said it would have been worth it

Bryan Christensen

Membership is affordable. Spend the day there with the kids

Donnyelle Smith

Lots of interaction for both kids and adults - highly recommend

Peggy Onwiler

Lots of hands on exploring that invites all ages.

Dave Harvey

Fun place with tons of hands on fun for kids. The small aquarium is nice with multiple touch tanks. There's plenty to do without the place being overwhelming. Highly recommended!

Tosha Williams

The aquamarine exhibit is nice! The new sports exhibit is minimal, because no staff was there to run the drills, but good. I went on a Tuesday 3/19. It was fun trying the Lambeau Leap!

Russ Taro

This place is so fun. Everything here is amazing (aquarium, exhibits, science, technology, brain games...). I had a great time at this museum. I even went to the balcony and enjoyed a spectacular view and took some great pictures (I don't know if that is allowed but I did it anyway!). The staff was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this museum to anyone visiting Mil town especially those with kids. Believe me, you'll discover the world at Discovery World!

Marque Rogers

Amazing, hands on, learning the whole time, truly a great place to bring your kids, wife daughter and I had a blast, aquarium was fun as well as life sized pirate ship, learning is a curve thrown in like challenges, definitely recommend for families, we even left and had lunch at a different place and came back just keep bracelet on

Dana H.

Their summer camps are a great opportunity for kids to learn new things! So much fun too!

Cookie MonstA

Nice but a bit dated, not enough cool stuff for the price. However, I understand. A 20 million dollar make over would be difficult to pull off

Joseph Coleman

Our visit seemed pretty uneventful almost as if we were taking a stroll to the Lake, I would strongly consider sanitation dispensers throughout the facility, also I'd add a few virtual reality videos for educational purposes and for those who may have special needs. . Lastly, I hate to mention the 3 older women employees who got on the elevator at the 3rd floor who somewhat pushed their way on and said quote unquote " we're tired of being patient ". How rude!!

Kirsten Bergstrom

Went for the aquarium in the lower level. They had a very neat Great Lakes themed large tank with sturgeon, paddlefish, and numerous other cold freshwater fish. The place is definitely geared towards children.

Kris Strnad

Discovery World offers experiences of all kinds,....Aquarium, hands on, audio, physical fun!

Allyce Zim

Discovery World is amazing. We plan on going again in a couple weeks. We decided to do the Python Encounter and explore the aquarium this visit. Amazing! My son loved the glass tunnel. He was able to touch a stingray, sturgeon, and horseshoe crab. We also learned a lot of information. It is on the lake. Beautiful!

Dan Reid

VERY fun excursion with the kiddos or adults. Awesome interactive displays.

AV EN

I went to Discovery World last summer with a YMCA group and we found some very interesting things and some cool things to play with! I was with a couple of my friends to! It was SUPER FUN!!!

B D

Pretty cool hands on museum.

Jeff Halama

Love this place. A great way to spend a few hours with my daughter and have a lot of fun especially the aquarium part.

Michael Liepitz

Love this place. We go here each year for a field trip with 4th graders. I took my kids here for the first time and there's always something for young and old to do.

John Dake

As far as a family museum goes, this was my first experience and it really wasn't all that bad. They had a free day for the public to kind of tour the museum. Awesome idea, from my understanding does not happen all the time. I wish more museums had this idea.

Chris Kim

It was a great outing to Milwaukee - just about an hour driving, beautiful waterfront location, lots of hands on science and technology interaction. Currently, they have Les Paul's House of Sound and I loved how STEAM was all so well incorporated! Definitely would come back again!

Michael Ulicki

Great, but cold adventure on the S/V Denis Sullivan

Chris Sanford

My kids love all the exhibits and interactive labs

Grant Gross

Great place for all ages defiantly the best museum that I ever went to, worth the price, amazing extractions. Learn a whole lot too.

Brittany Jepson

Great day for two fun loving adults as well as kids. Highly recommend the membership as it's a better value. We had so much fun and there is tons to see. An aquarium, a replica of the great lakes and surrounding cities, weather and storm simulations, energy use, robotics, automaton toys, cat contraction equipment, farming, racing and flight simulators, a ship replica you can explore and so many more interactive displays!

Benjamin Coleman

We enjoyed this location, but it is worth coming every once in a while. Many of the hands on areas are worn out, inoperable. The few that work are just enough to make the visit pleasant. I would think some of the displays could be spruced up or repaired for a few hundred dollars.

Great science museum with interesting exhibits for the whole family. Awesome location on the lake. Take a walk at Lakeshore Park while you're there.

Jerome Duenk

Always a great time, many hours of fun and discovery...

Henrique G. Abreu

Great place to bring the kids. And the Kohl's design lab is funnier than it looks :-)

anthony wissell

Great for the kids, lots of interactive exhibits. A wonderful learning experience for all.

Elizabeth Hawkins-Schmidt

So fun. They've made some changes in the past several years and they have been great. I wish the aquarium area was a bit bigger, but what is there is fantastic and they layout it great. My daughter loves the ship. The machines are great and all the kids LOVED the laser foam cutout.

Kim Schneider

Lots of hands-on science. Things clean and in good repair, not like similar places I've been.

David Tillotson

The aquarium is great. The great lakes exhibit is superb. I could spend hours in the mazes and brain games.

Tim Buttrey

Fun with younger kids. Four hours would be my max here.

Brock Kirschner

A really cool way to spend some family time. So. Much to see and do that a membership was well worth the cost since we plan on going back again.

Enoch Rasmussen

This is a great museum! From flight simulators too a giant hamster wheel you can run in to generate electricity, they pretty much have everything! They also highlight the great lakes and how our water is used! They have a large diorama of how the great lakes looks which even has a thunderstorm with rain coming from the ceiling during certain times of the day. This is a great place to go with family, friends, or as a field trip.

Corey Washington

It a nice place for kids and adults. My children loves the touch tank petting stingrays and I fell in love with the Les Paul exhibit. There are more things to keep you busy but the view from the sky bridge is amazing.

FireCandy

When I went there, it was amazing. They had a lake shore view, multiple activites, and a nice museum. I would totally recommend this place for you to go to with family!

Anne Stadler

What a fun place to spend an afternoon with a 4 year old . There were fish to pet, mazes to walk, electricity was made, we learned about clean water and the sewer system, walked through a ship, and so much more.

Diane Bossert

An amazing place for kids and kids at heart. So much to learn from and hands on doing.
