Great place for kids! Very spacious. We parked on the street at a meter. Would love to attend a character story time. Visiting from out of state and make a point to come here every time we visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Love the new water exhibit.

Such a fun, educational place! There's something for children of all ages here. My toddler could stay entertained in the water play room for hours and that child NEVER sits still! A great place for birthday parties, too. It's so fun and interactive that adults join in.

I feel as though I fork out a lot of money when we (3 of us) go to this children’s museum. I often find that many of the displays and buttons don’t work! For that price, I would hope it would be enjoyable and everything working properly. I travel to the Green Bay museum over this one anytime I feel like splurging on a day with my girls. I always leave feeling a little disappointed. It always seems to be busy, as I walk in I hope there are no field trips there that day. But, there usually is, and those bigger kids trample over mine each and every time especially in the tree house area. The role play areas are never put back together and always in disarray—if my kids want to enjoy them and actually get to use them the way they are intended, we probably would have to be there RIGHT at opening. (Green Bay does ALOT better at making rounds and putting things back into place so everyone can enjoy) I always leave feeling a bit disappointed and as if I have just thrown out $25. We just went there yesterday— I couldn’t figure out where to find supplies for the girls to do an art project, granted I could have looked around and figured it out, but that’s difficult when I have a 2 yo and 4 yo excited about their surroundings. There were no workers there to help. I won’t spend the $$ for a membership. It’s not exciting enough to go all that often. It would be better if it was in working order, clean, and picked up. (I thought going this time would be different since they were closed for renovations for so long last year—I didn’t really notice anything different)

This is a great place for younger kids, 8 and under, to explore, play, and learn. There is an awesome treehouse, a water area, and a ball machine room that let them play and learn at the same time.

In terms of activities I love this place for little humans. It also enjoy getting involved with my daughters curiosity. The down side is there have been lights and toys broken for over a year. We also all seem to get sick after going no matter how well we sanitize.

Excellent space catering to a wide variety of ages. Plenty of ideas showing how fun science equals kids playing. Nicely designed to keep kids in an area until the family is ready to move on. We ended up spending four hours here and none of the kids were ready to leave.

One of my top choices in the state BUT the water play area the floor is slippery and my child hurt his ankle really badly and staff didn't care. We actually had to leave and go to the doctor. The issue still hasn't been fixed and yes my child was even wearing non slip shoes. I assume the floor is not treated for non slip where the old equipment was before they replaced it.

The museum is closed for renovations for the month of September. It would be nice to have that information before traveling there with my family. Please post this on your website so no one else wastes their time. Very unacceptable.

So much fun for the kids here. Everything is hands on, safe, and educational. They also have an art area where children can paint, cut, color, glue etc their own creations that they can take home.

Have visited the museum several times and each time the people who work here are less than they should be. We are members to another museum that was supposed to give us free admission to over 300 local museums. Instead the woman in charge here went out of her way to ensure we didn’t get free admission. Her and the young woman who was next to her actually laughed at us for not reading the fine print of the passport museum program as they were telling us we couldn’t get in. Extremely poor customer service and I’ll never bring my family back here again.

The staff were friendly, the building activities were fun, but the place is in need of serious repair and maintenance. The salt water fish tanks were covered in algae and many of the exhibits were broken.

Great for all ages of children, we plan at least 2 hours to be able to check everything out. Really fun stuff like a water play area that has little rain coats to keep your children dry and a really cool area where you can explore levers/pulleys learning cause and effect using balls don't miss it!

We have taken our four kids to a variety of childrens museums in wisconsin. Appleton has been, by far, the best!! It has a couple different levels with a variety of things to do ( craft station, tree house, clinic, gas station, bank, cafe, enclosed toddler area, and probably more that i cant think of at the moment). Hope you and your kids have a blast playing together!!!!

Took our grandkid here for an afternoon (age 6) had SO much fun! Clean and lots to do. Will be back! Staff was very friendly even though it was pretty busy and a little crazy since their was so many kids everywhere. The prices where also very reasonable. Perfect place to bring a kid with lots of energy on a rainy day! I do think they could maybe update some of the exhibits because some of the exciting features where broken.

We have had annual memberships here and then we tend not to renew for a year or two. The exhibits/spaces have been changed and moved very little since 2007. The space is designed for younger children as it is mostly creative/dramatic play items or hands on blocks/toys/water for mostly 2-6 year olds. I take my students (ages 9-11) here for a hands-on science field which they always enjoy. Older kids do enjoy the chance to run around and do dramatic play but I'm not sure how often they could go without it being boring to them.

Came here on a field trip w/my son about 5 years ago. Had a great time! The children were like sponges takeing in all of the awesome things 2 learn and 2 do. I learned quite a bit myself that day! Lol!

They need to focus on maintaining the exhibits. I’ve gone here with my kids for years and there is always something wrong with the crane, the water play area, and the ball play area. Which are the most interactive exhibits. Many of them are cheap/quick fixes. They should also consider investing or getting new exhibits sponsored by local businesses.
