I really enjoyed myself. Smallest museum ive ever seen, eveb been to. But very beautiful. All the baskets, the tools used to survive. The canoeing, things i probably could not do most of myself in this day and age. Respect to those who still live more traditional ways.

My Music Therapy Sing it as you feel it.

Very informative. Need a touching area/interactive area for kids. My grandson is Native American but not enough to count and be included in a tribal community. This is the only way, for now, for him to gain knowledge, experience, and empathy other than through grand and great grandparents who choose when to tell their stories.

Such an interesting, rich history. The language is beautiful and soft. The museum is lovely and the displays are written in English and Suquamish as best can be written since there was no written language originally.

Saw an amazing exhibit: Deconstructing Edward Curtis, and it was a much needed rewrite of white-centric history. I will stop by this museum everytime I'm in the area. I can't wait to see what comes next here. Excellent curation especially considering the small square footage size of this museum. Kudos to the curation team.

My visit was with a group, so we had a docent. This was the BEST! I learned a ton of stuff I never would've picked up from displays alone, or not without a lot of reading. Super, little known history, very local flavor. Be sure to pay your respects at Chief Sealth's grave, across the street and a half block down toward the water. Beautiful gift shop on site, contemporary native art, too, beautiful.
