Here you will see the feddbacks of real people like you who are buying the products of Pearson Air Museum (Museum) in Washington area.
Now the business gets a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and the score is based on 213 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an reviews average is virtually the best, and it is based on a very high number of scores, so we may say that the valuation is quite credible. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Museum is classified in the category of Museum.
Pearson is a wonderful air Museum with lots to see. Make a day out of visiting Pearson Air Museum, Fort Vancouver, and have dinner at the Grant House on officers row.
They wouldn't let me test the planes
Pokemon for days
A good museum
Kind of cool, glad we went
It was good. Lot of information on 1st World War. The ranger was very helpful and taking initiative to explain.
A++
My dad and I are both disabled but we love to go on outings. He is an old plane buff as well. After touring Fort Vancouver we went straight to the Pearson Air Museum. The air field is very active so you get the added fun of small planes taking off by the museum. The museum is indoors and very disability friendly. We stayed about an hour and had a great time. The docents are friendly and helpful. Most of the planes are very old-a real history of flight. Who knew Lucky Lindy came out to Vancouver to visit his sister!
My daughter's wedding reception was held at this beautiful venue and it's was AMAZING! This venue is wonderful because of it's size and versatility but also because its a lovely blank canvas that can be turned into what ever you are wanting to achieve.
Awesome free exhibit. Not a lot too see, you can get in and out in 30mins.
A place I'll always love to visit
This place is amazing to see the evolution of aviation
This small museum has several important items including a DH4 and a Liberty engine, and a scale model of the Spuce Division cut up plant. My review focuses on the latter. Pearson Airfield is the former site of the cut up plant. The mill played an important role during WW1 and supplied Sitka Spuce to allied contries in Europe. The words Sitka Spuce should get the attention of anyone interested in early 20th century aircraft. The timber industry of course played an enormous role in defining the Pacific NW. If you have an interesed in the latter I recommend a stop at the Oregon Rail Herritage Center. They have a small display that complements this museum. It explains the rail network that was built.
good fun
Great place for weekend with a family. Kids enjoyed so much. Stuff is also very nice.
Great space for event. Parking good, clean, large toilets for disabled.
Nice museum. Tells you a lot about the history of the fort as well as about the beginnings of aircrafts at all. They also show old aircrafts.
Awesome rich history
Free air museum with exhibits on the historic airfield and its importance during the early days of military aviation.
Full of very old airplanes. History showing evolution of flight.
Awesome exhibits, lots of nice volunteers who answered all of our questions and told us about the history of the planes that the boys said were their favorites. Free entry made it even better!
The Government Museum and Art Gallery is one of the most visit places. The building is beautifully designed and the art collection on display is also very good with a wide variety of artists and styles displayed.
Who doesn't like airplanes... The museum needs to reopen.
Wish I had more time you have to see the movie!!
Staff this time we're very unfriendly to kids. We were the only ones there and they yelled at them for saying 'wow' and 'look at that' in excited voices. Very disappointed, doesn't build respect across generations.
Great museum. Love the history of the area.
Fun place. It has a few interactive exhibits and the air display is beautiful. It was fun exploring the old buildings and there is a very nice picnic area. Save some money to spend at the shop too. Cool things for sale.
Its small, but that's ok. Good to take, kids because you will easily see it all. Very simple and, easy introduction of aviation and aviation history to children. Theres some hands on elements that I know the kids like. And afterwards you can,go across the street to a nice and large park.
Very open and spacious museum, with a good variety of aircraft, right next to fort Vancouver making for a easy double destination
Great staff, friendly and helpful. Comfortable atmosphere, not too crowded for a Saturday! Will be coming back to see new exhibits this summer
It was a great stop, take a walk around and see what vanvouver did. I wouldn't make a special stop of it but, if your in the area it's fun to look around.
Great little museum. Interesting displays.
Great exhibits about the advent of flight. Starting with the wright brothers and through the early technological innovations. Rangers and docent guide you through but you can explore on your own as well. Ignore all the one star reviews. Those have nothing to do with the exhibits here now.
Lots of old History there ! Very kid friendly!
Always love this place. Glad they re opened.
Free admission. Fun activities for kids.
I had my wedding in the air hanger and it was the dreamiest venue ever! Its raw beauty is so easy to transform into whatever vision you have!
Awesome!
My grandson loved our visit there over Spring break!!
We were there for a WWII event. It was fantastic and very informative. A well done event!
Fun place to learn for the family, great staff and very informative.
Friendly staff, informative exhibits, and great displays. Small but well organized.
A great place to see some planes with the family!
Great museum lots of close up exhibits.
Free educational flight museum. Lots of cool stuff for all ages.
Really nice museum. It is free, would reccomend.
Lovely bit of history
So much fun!
Great event venue. The could use portable air-conditioning. Staff was extremely helpful.
Awesome!
Very helpful staff. So thankful it is run by the national parks and thus it is free.
Small and friendly air museum showing early aircraft and boards explaining their context in world wars. It's free so if you are nearby, certainly stop by and check it out.
This use to be a city landmark, Now it's an empty shell. Very sad to see this happen to such a great and important place. If you want a true experience in learning about aviation that's in the spirit of what the museum use to be. Check out the Pearson Field Education Center just 2 blocks down from the old museum.
Good
Got married here. It was the best wedding ever!!!!
Amazing displays, very friendly staff, and extremely informative!! Definitely would recommend any history buff or aviation enthusiast to check this place out!!
Cool free place to go
Love learning about aeronautical history here. It's also fun to walk around and take in the history of the grounds and surrounding areas.
A very interesting and very nice place the people in charge are very nice
So very fun!
Our kids love this museum. This place have a lot of interesting plane and story. Staff of this museum is very kind and helpful. Do not miss this charming museum
Learning how planes actually are/were controlled and the history behind the WASP is probably the best part in my opinion.
Free entrance, donation box present. A small museum packed with many vintage planes. Great for history buffs who want to read the displays as well as kids to look and walk through. Plus an educational area for children to launch paratroopers.
A museum is difficult to rate accurately because what is the comparison related for judgemet not as a slight but as a esteemed colleague applying constructive criticisms founded on mutual accelerated improvements driven by competion? If we used the Smithsonian institution as our benchmark Institutional museum. Then in the known world or slightly fantastic perhaps; NO ONE COULD COMPARE! Save maybe ancient Alexandria only could critique. This being the case we must resign Pearson to it's own merits and character and see this for what it is. A unique but highly valuable museum and location deserving and owning to proper esteem imparted by historic rarety and Intrinsic worth. What a mouthful, right...ugh. So, for this little museum is it in its own right is a smaller but informed repository of historically accurate local relative items. For the sake of these objects the value of an NPO can't be understated. To support this museum is a worthy cause and effort and you can not go wrong with your patronage. Leave a donation and depending on your level of interest plan on about an hour before the children are ready for something else and tour with a smile. We enjoyed it thoroughly and can't NOT, NOT recommend it. For the value of the money spent, (donation discretionary) how can you possibly loose? Great place to visit, Enjoy.
Historical air museum a must see at Fort Vancouver
This museum is located at Fort Vancouver National Park. There are numerous planes exhibited here, some suspended in the air others on the floor. It goes back to the golden age of aviation, when the Germans lead aviation, and moves forward during the first world
Fun place
Very interesting Aviation Musem in Vancouver today. Saw a restored WWI Jennie one of the planes very similar to what the Wright Brothers flue when making their first flight and a plane very similar to the one flown by the Red Germany.! Very interesting exhibit!
Great airplane museum, small but fascinating. And a great place for riding a bike and a picnic!
Nice exhibits for aviation fans and young ones. Nearby fort Vancouver is also a great time. A few early era airplanes available at the museum.
Very nice. Antique planes. Russian exhibition. Children activities. Free
A wonderful place for the whole family to visit and it is right next to Fort Vancouver!
Showing our son at early age this place was really helpful. Now he has a dream to be a pilot. We are a happy to have this museum in our area. So many vintage planes, a lot of information inside. The place is free to enter, but you still can donate. We were happy to do that and have plans o come back here one year after.
Really neat museum for the whole family. Worth the stop
This museum is located at Fort Vancouver National Park. There are numerous planes exhibited here, some suspended in the air others on the floor. It goes back to the golden age of aviation, when the Germans lead aviation, and moves forward during the first world war when America began building planes here using Alaska spruce.
Pretty cool little air museum. Free entry is nice. Only 4 stars because it's so small and doesn't have a lot of aircraft.
Really nice place to learn about airplanes.
Awesome location for beer fest hidden treasure
Very cool
Great tour guide and some beautiful planes, loved the visit there.
Amazing experience. My grandparents and I learned a lot. I am glad like places like this exist.
Great place for aviation fans. Pearson Field is one of the oldest still operating airfields in the US. Admission is free and the staff is super friendly. They are very happy to tell you more about this place.

Very informative, great staff, good hours,FREE,great poke stop and gyms.
It's small, but really cool. The staff is very friendly and the history is amazing.
Our family enjoys this museum. Great displays of airplanes and the history of Vancouver. They have a room to play a video but it's never been on when we have gone. It's a great FREE museum. Free parking and clean bathrooms. The staff is friendly too.
Loved it
Great museum, very educational, we want more! Very helpful staff, rangers, volenteers, lots of yelling kids, so bring your patience!
Cool...
The Pearson Air Museum, managed by the National Park Service as part of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, is a great little museum. It has many different exhibits which share information about the history of flight, and the history of the site.
Great place to see and learn about some aviation history. Be sure to catch the video presentation.
Worth the stop for a little history lesson!!
Small but nice museum about the pearson air field and Vancouver
Free. Interesting slice of history.
So much information packed intoa small building
This is a neat museum.
If you love aircraft, you will like it, Loved my visit.
Only plan 30 minutes... Small museum
这是一个小而精致的博物馆记录了早期航空的历史,记录了这个地方的演变的历史,记录了Psarson的事绩,是Fort Vancouver National Historic Site 的重要组成部分。 This is a small and exquisite museum that records the history of early aviation, documents the history of the evolution of the place, records Psarson's achievements, and is an important part of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.
this museum is a small little gem. They don't have that many planes on view but if you get there when a volunteer docent is there, they are very knowledgeable and can answer almost any question. The docent that I met was a veteran who knew so much about the Vancouver aviation history. There are a lot of stations that have to be read. It begins with the history of flight at this very field in the early 1900s. Even women were pilots & there is a section dedicated to these early femmes if the sky. The history continues through world war 1 and world war II and the importance of the building that was done at the adjacent fort. Men, as well as women, worked around the clock in order to supply the Pacific Theater with the necessary planes. There is ample parking for free. If you are a history buff and interested in how aviation, in particular, won 2 wars, visit
Decent air Museum.
Fun free history site with knowledgeable staff and lots of information!
Awesome NPS gal working the front desk today! Kids enjoyed the small museum. The front had a fun hands on parachute model.
Cool little museum! And it's free! (but please donate) This place looks brand new and the exhibits are very well put together, with a load of history on the fort & surrounding area. A few beautifully restored planes and old military artifacts are on display. The huge scale model of the early fort was really interesting as well. Worth a stop!
Great ww1 and 2 air plane. And pokey stops
Spend some time learning from the beginning of plane flight, alot on world war I and the nearby Mill, and the spotter balloons used during WW I.
It's not huge but it's super cool. WWI planes n stuff.
Went to the fort to the Blacksmith's shop
Good place to take kids.

Nice, clean and quiet museum right by a great park
Informative slice of obscure history
Five stars, if you are into aviation history. Pearson Air Field and its Museum are attached to the NPS with the neighboring Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. It is a small (free) museum concerning the aviation history of the adjacent Pearson Air Field involving the Pacific coast as well as the local Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area. There is a variety of historical planes on display inside the museum. The history of flight is also displayed. Pearson Air Field is well worth a visit if you are interested in early aviation history or that of the Pacific Northwest. A visit here is easily combinable with the nearby Fort Vancouver National Historic Site for an afternoon of additional discovery.
Small but very informative and interesting.
A must see. Great historical information
Good place for a wedding reception.
Its googles deal. Told me its open til 5 and we showed up to the museum closed. Thanks Google.
