We had a fantastic time yesterday at the Northwest Carriage Museum. Laurie was so kind and took the time to tell us about a number of the carriages and the history behind them. It was amazing to see how different carriages used splash guards in different places, how windows were raised and lowered, carriages from all over the world and how the styles changed over time! The highlight for me was getting to see the carriage used in the movie Gone With the Wind, but there is so much more to enjoy besides that. And the children's area was so much fun, not only for kids but for us adults too.

Cameron Smith
