Right now this firm receives a score of 4.5 stars over 5 and the score has been calculated on 76 reviews.

You must have seen that the average score it has is virtually the highest, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the evaluation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.

This place is located in Illwaco WA and hosts all types of events. We have been here for Pinball exhibit and several Quilt shows Neat small town and the scenery is great.

Michele Waite

Visited the Quilt Show, but also wandered through the Museum. The gift shop is good too!

Has a variety of exhibits about the Chinook, Lewis and Clark, trains and more. Upstairs is a small but very moving exhibit about Gerard D'Aboville who paddled from Japan to here. Took him over 100 days and what an amazing feat and story. There is a current exhibit about the Megler and Union Pacific ferries and building of the Astoria bridge. Well done.

Great local museum! The breadth of exhibits was surprisingly broad. The museum has a prominently positioned native people's exhibit with more information that just material culture. Facsimiles of 19th century treaty agreements were presented alongside explanations of their current relevance. There are galleries about the development of railroad, white settlement, and then tourist economies and culture. Two (!) different working model railroads! The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic.

Bill Freitag

Fascinating displays and info about the Chinook people and the early industries of the area. Go see it if you are in the area!

Joyce Baker-Gerkens

My 4 year old grandson loves trains! We spent 3 hours and pretty much had the museum to ourselves. Bring quarters to operate the model trains!

Glen Hansen

Loved the history... the old Pullman car and the model railroad upstairs

Lawrence Wilson

Attended the Cranberry Festival. Amazing talent on display.

This museum is a hidden gem in Ilwaco, just off Hwy 101! Amazing history and artifacts from the area as well as local artist works display.

Kelli Hoover

Let me start of by saying that the exhibits are really neat! Unfortunately the staff is lacking! I'm not sure if they are volunteers are actual paid employees, but there is one in particular that is so miserable and unhappy that she literally screamed at the children in our homeschool group. It was so uncomfortable that we left immediately. The kids were having an amazing field trip prior, so this was extremely disheartening to have it end this way. I would recommend that the employees reevaluate if they actually want to work with the general public, and if so learn to interact accordingly. This is especially important in a position where you are dealing with malleable young minds. We do not plan to go back anytime soon.

They offer educational speakers. We went to learn about razor clamming. Enjoyed it and learned a lot. The museum was extremely interesting too.

What a surprise! This museum features local history from the Chinook peoples to twentieth century fishing and cranberry industries. For train enthusiasts, two sections of the museum were dedicated to railroads. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Crystal Graziano Capizzi

Free on Thursdays. Staff knowledgeable and very friendly! Restrooms available. Eclectic exhibits. Currently being revamped but still worth a visit. The biggest hit was, of course, the working train sets (25 cents makes them go). Both 5yo and 2yo enjoyed it. Worth a stop if you have time.
