REVIEWS OF Frontier Culture Museum IN Virginia

Tyson Brown

Very nice setup - large property with real frontier era homes, some of which were dismantled, brought here from overseas, and reassembled in the old manner for an authentic experience. Blacksmith made a nail for the kids while we watched. Sheep were shorn earlierin the day, but we missed that.

Ashley Lane

Beautiful place! I love coming to Oktoberfest every year. Always a great time with wonderful people!

Jason Panek

Amazing, as always. Went on an elementary school field trip - friendly, helpful, patient staff. The grounds and exhibits are in great shape. The kids had fun and learned a lot. Recommend highly.

Great afternoon spent with 4 generations. Our family has a 1925 6 room schoolhouse and we hold a Sorghum Festival each year third Sat. In Oct. McDaniel Crossroad, NC in Sampson County so we really appreciate the history here. Folks were great!!!! Many thanks! The Matthews Family

Veronica Ziegler

Great time on a Sunday. Less people Loved the talks, so you knew about the dwellings., what the life was back then

Priscilla Arthur

Great to experience the history of the American frontier, which was brought to life via farm settings dating from the 1600's to the 1850's. Buildings are authentic from the countries they are representing. Live animals added to the farm settings. The guides were very knowledgeable and dressed in period costumes. There is a lot of walking to see the difference farms. Only when we complained, did the shuttle finally show up.

Linda Kaldahl

Great experience. Our bus trip was took around on a big cart.

steven olson

Loved this place as a kid. Love taking my kids here now!!

Jennifer Goss

Lovely and educational museum. An asset to the comm

Ms. Vineyard

Take your family and friends for a wonderful educational experience. There's a lot to see and learn with live demonstrations and hands-on activities. Wear good walking shoes or catch a ride on a buggy if you need it. Check the museum's website for upcoming events.

noah Sparks

I learned about how the old world mixed with the new world

Tonya

Good place to learn about other cultures

Kenneth Blaylock

A great semi authentic frontier community. All buildings were authentic structures brought in front elsewhere. No replicas. According to them. They are not finished. Waiting on funds to expand. Lots of plans.

Joy Padgett

Very cool and informative place but not wheelchair frendly

Gary Dean

A fantastic experience.

Helen Michie

We loved the Frontier Culture Museum! We love visiting museums and have been to quite a few around the world. Husband volunteers at the Smithsonian's Museum of American History. Not only did both of us enjoy ourself, but we were both very impressed by all the interpreters and the programs at the Frontier Culture Museum for may day on May 11 and 12, 2019.

Marion Meckler

A one of a kind trip in time and place. Farms and houses in the African and European countries from the 1700's have been brought over and or reconstructed. A separate area has houses and farms of the pioneers in Virginia. I recommend watching the short film at the visitor center first. Friendly, well informed people in period clothes are in each area...a blacksmith working her forge, home maker spinning wool into yarn, an African American telling us about the Igboo people and culture in this impressive compound.

Salah Abdallah

Pretty nice and organized place. All children would love to explore this place.

Ann Dee

We were there for a cross country meet this time. Visited village exhibits and gift shop about 5 years ago and found it culturally enlightening. Prepare to get your exercise walking! What a beautiful location with picnic benches, nice facilities, and friendly knowledgeable personnel. Can't wait to revisit the exhibits again soon. Plenty of parking available.

Geoffrey Berry

This is a once in a lifetime experience. The museum has transported real buildings from Europe and/or employed historically accurate building techniques to teach you about immigration to America. The stories are authentic. They delve into the histories of American Indians, enslaved Africans and white settlers from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Germany. The grounds are beautiful, with many animals to see. Totally worth it! Spend a whole day!

Jack Ballurio

Amazing view, through interpreters, of our early frontier culture.

Elizabeth Arthur

Fun place with beautiful scenery and fascinating living history interpreters

Treasure Tree Wire Wrapped Jewelry

Tammy Harsh

If you have not been, you need to go, if you have been you need to go again. They always have something going on.

Chris Mailliard

Very fun, quaint place. The period actors were very knowledgeable and excellent with working with our two young girls (ages 6 and 4 yo). The girls learned a lot and had a great time. They said the schoolhouse was their favorite. I enjoyed the Irish forge and Irish farmhouse. My wife liked the mid-1800s farmhouse.

Jen Marie

A great place to visit for adults and kids. We spent about 2.5 hours exploring the sites. Everything is laid out well and easy to follow. Very interesting and highly recommend.

Justyne Louk

The people here are phenomenal. The ones I have seen year after year, especially.

Erin Cornette

Loved the buildings and the animals!

Sherry Lubin

This place is very interesting and different from most ,although there are people to inform you of the history of each sight the belongings to each one was really neat and interesting to look at and the way each house was made I found to be fascinating, well worth the tour .gift shop was also nice and staff very friendly and helpful

Bron Tharpe

This is an amazing place. There wasn't too much going on but that's ok. My little had a blast and didn't want to leave. We will have to bring her back for the lantern tours soon.

Monica Mathusek

Lynda Venegas-Hollomon

Field trip with my daughter's school, it was fun and we all learned a lot. Staff was kind and knowledgeable. A lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes

Allie

Bring your walking shoes! See history come alive

Susanna Werner

Wonderful experience! So interesting seeing all the pioneer homes from early days! Explanations from people with necessary skills needed for life's challenges of that period. Really glad we went.

Nicole Dillon

We had a great time here. Learned a lot from the costumed interpreters.

Karim Hanna

When we arrived I had no idea what to expect. The staff at the front desk seemed bored, and I expected something amateurish. I was pleasantly surprised by every single exhibit, which was authentic to its country or region, and the staff at the exhibits were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The exhibits are spread out over a large area so be prepared to walk a lot, or rent a golf cart.

Joe Herget

Awesome place for kids and adults to learn about how our American culture evolved

Mary Szverra

Great place to learn about the immigrants who worked hard to establish this great country. Very informed volunteers working to keep it an enjoyable place to visit. Golf carts rentals very inexpensive and well worth doing since it is spread out so much.

Bob Morse

Even better than we expected.

Hannah Purnell

German section had no one there (was one of the main reasons we visited), but the rest of the crew at the other settlements were super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Jonathan Stewart

Well worth the drive. Very nicely done with qualified and caring volunteers. We would go back!

Dave Rylak

Very relaxed and educational. It is fun for all ages.

Cindy Holley

Went for a company event clean, quiet, clean restrooms, catering area, food, nice place to stop for a relaxing rest off of the nightmare know as I-81

Linda Hoach

It was my first visit there and discovering that it was an outdoor interactive museum was very exciting. All the exhibits there are original and shipped from the origin country then reassembled at the museum. I saw many trailheads too but we didn't explore them at the time. My cousin and I had fun looking at the animals and learning the history of each of the exhibits.

Kelly Walter

Wonderful interactive museum about different cultures creating the America we know! Awesome and knowledgeable staff, tons of fun. The kids will love it too! If you're older or handicapped you can rent a golf cart or take advantage of the free trolley. Nice shaded trolley stops and clean restrooms to boot! We will definitely be back!

Thomas Murphy

Kids learn so much from interactive experience . i recommend this as a nice family activity.

Dan Paden

Interesting to know facts about where immigrants tended to come from and their motivations. Also, facts about the impact of the immigrants on native Americans, and what frontier settlers' homes were like.

Mike Laffey

Fantastic place to party.

shelley shankle

The children can touch almost everything at this museum while enjoying the outdoors.

Lee Lowell

The food was very, very good. Highly recommended.

Elizabeth Dombroski

A lot of walking, but very enjoyable. Great for families.

Patricia Cory

Great history of frontier times and cultures. Lot of walking. I advise to spend the $10 to rent a golf cart.

Emily Purdum

Great staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Park is well kept and clean.

Carla Benton

The people make it good

Kyle Coburn

What a WONDERFUL experience! The hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining! It was like the perfect immersive museum. There is nothing like getting to hear from a blacksmith as he is currently at work hammering the iron. Some chickens ate out of hand. We were followed around by goats. The hosts literally wear clothing that they made with the machinery from the era. What an experience! Important note: It is important that you attend on a weekend. Our friends went mid-day on a Tuesday and there weren't hosts in every home, which would really limit the experience.

Tina Richardson

I love this place! Although there is a shuttle system in place, I highly recommend renting a golf cart and bringing water. This is a pretty big area to cover. Also, be sure to buy fowl food, but don't leave it in the cart while you look around. There are some cute, but naughty goats that WILL LOOK FOR YOU AND THEY WILL FIND YOU with their particular set of skills.

Johanna O'Loughlin

A must see. Wonderful every time. Great for school trips.

Tina Blumenfeld

We love visiting on 4th of July!

Vincent Nocito

Great museum with authentic period farm houses from the US, Germany, Ireland and England. Knowledgeable staff to talk about farm life in the 18th and 19th century. Sheep shearing was interesting to watch.

Sarah Dietzler

Absolutely love the Frontier Culture Museum! I've been about 6 times with many different people I bring with me from out of state. It is such a fun, interesting place to visit. The admission is only $12 for adults, less for children. They have people at each house or building that gives you history about the place and what life would have been at that time. It's so cool. On holidays they have different activities and recreate what life would've been at that time. It's a great place to visit. Highly recommend

Bryan Dotson

Incredible fun and education for people of all ages!

Brandon Taylor

A hidden gem! The staff in the field was exceptional, extremely knowledgeable and very good at their jobs! The female blacksmith was awesome!

John Wirsing

Very informative.

Ariel

This is one of the coolest "museum's" I've ever been too. I highly recommend coming here regardless of what age or background your from. Truly a fun and educational atmosphere.

Tom Vick

Neat place... people are super friendly

Catherine Canuck

Living history museum with farmsteads representing the different cultures that farmed in this valley. Actual homesteads from England, Ireland and Germany -- each brought over from Europe piece by piece. Interpretors are very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Deborah Ross

Love interacting with the historians.

Jonathan and Teresa Gabbard

Love this place! Great experience!

vincent mock

Such an awesome place to go and experience the way different cultures lived during the earliest day of our nation. This interactive museum lets you see cultures from Africa native American and some of the different European countries that came and settled in the 16 to 1800's. Definitely a spot to take homeschoolers at any children to let them see what it was like to be here before modern amenities were available.

tara fowler

Amazing place to learn about history.

Patrick Murphy

This open air museum is vastly underrated, and well worth a visit. The relatively new Native American and African exhibits ate a very welcome addition. If you like living history, you'll enjoy the Frontier Culture Museum.

Patrick McCrory

I love that it's a living history museum. Seeing people work and in costume is always interesting.

Monika Kessler

Octoberfest was fun! Schnitzel was good- loved to cottages/houses and learning about the history. Kids had fun barrel racing. Spent a fun and enjoyable day there.

Joan Davis

Really worth the stop. Houses and farmhouses have been imported from England, Ireland and Germany. There is someone in each of the homes for education. This is especially great for kids! Primarily a walking tour, however it looks like shuttles and gold carts available.

Aaron Kimpton

These types of historical recreations, re enactment villages always entrall me. Sturbridge, village, Fort Ticondaroga, Mystic Sea port. They all fill in a little pice of the puzzle. I ran out of time yeasterday, we will be back.

TOM KIM

Defintely worth a visit. Renting a golf cart recommended.

Adelle Cloutier

Clean and well run however there were not as many interpreters as we expected to see on the date we visited. We bought the family pass and will go back again when we travel through the area to see how it compares on another day. We rented the golf cart and it was $15 well spent. Made seeing the entire place a lot more comfortable.

David Floyd

Enjoyable (my son's wedding )

Bryan Brainard

Reasonable entry fee. We went on a rainy day and it was almost empty. Period workers were excellent very informative. We spent about 3 hours there.

Samuel Bradfield

It rained. But we had a great time. It has been at least 15 years since I have been there.

John Dalton

Very cool place showing history from around parts of the world. Very well kept and people performing jobs as was done in the past. Went as part of a school function so not all the people were in their roles but not the norm during normal business hours.

Dean C

Neat place. Fun.

Justin Underwood

Love it. The place hasn't changed much since going here as a kid. But in the best ways possible.

Linda Wollert

Wonderful people and exhibits.

Kirstin Johnston

Wonderful museum. My kids loved being able to get “hands on” with the demonstrations. The workers were very knowledgeable and sweet. We will definitely be returning!

Sra. Del Hoyo

My son and I simply love this place. You can rent a golf cart if you don't want to walk or walk. Either way, the place is great! The exhibitions are great and each exhibition has an actor to explain how life was back then.

Rosette Bean

Guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Frontier culture museum is a walking outdoor museum. You could either walk or take the pleasure to ride the golf cart to see the 16-18th centuries farms living exhibits. Very informative. I like the farm animals freely wandering the grounds like the ducks and friendly goats.

Bambino The Great

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL PLACE!!! COMPLETELY reasonable in price on everything! Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon on a nice day!

Christina Coburn

Such a cool experience! Fun for the whole family!

Jason Child

A fascinating approach to interpreting the history of frontier culture. They have imported historic homesteads from England, Germany, and Ireland in order to show roots of some immigrants to the American continent, and how their backgrounds influenced one another and shaped early US farming and homesteading. More recent additions include a west African farm and an indigenous people's village as well, so the story is more complete as it now includes the colonizers, the enslaved Africans, and the native cultures that were already in the area. There are interpreters throughout the museum who are knowledgeable and happy to share.

Michael Steele

Fantastic place to visit!! Put it on your must do when visiting Va!!

Charles Gaumond

This is an extensive park with reconstructed frontier buildings in various styles from different time periods. The different styles are remarkably different. The docents are knowledgeable and easily approachable. I've been there several times. It's a unique place. Children can run around and adults can ask questions. Everyone should visit it.

Wanda Brown

So educational.

Elizabeth White

Beautiful place and great for the whole family!

Deborah Patrick

Nice living museum illustrating historical colonial times Shenandoah Valley.

Edward Martin

This is a wonderful place to take the family. Buildings are restored from 1700 and 1800s. Very informative staff. Great place to take the family. Informative staff. For history buffs this place is a real treasure. You can spend several hours here. Bring good shoes, lot of walking.

Ally K

I loved this place!! I learned a lot.

Quiet Assassin

Enjoyed our time here

Andy Berman

Large area where you can walk around and explore different places from different time periods. They have a speaker at most of the places to inform you about them. We enjoyed it.

Liz Sargent

Loved this place lots of history.

Karen Shoaf

This was an amazing experience for grandchildren and extended family alike, even on a cold and blustery day! This favorite Living Museum of ours for the past 20 years has continued to grow and evolve in its offerings, appealing to us as much as ever. A newer offering we most enjoyed was the West African village. It is beautifully laid out, and the drummer outside under the tent engaged all of us, especially the children in playing the drums and instructing us in the types of drumbeats used for village specific communication. It was a blast! We especially enjoyed a 450 lb pig rolling over on her side and being pet like a house kitten by the museum worker. It tickled ALL of us for several minutes! The living history actors in every exhibit were warm and welcoming to the adults and children alike, drawing us into their historical world with ease. Another feature we absolutely love is being able to rent a golf cart to tour the grounds. With a two and a five year old in tow, just walking from one exhibit house to another can be too much of a trek, and the stroller tiring for the adults pushing it as well! So the very reasonably priced golf cart made it very worth our while. And of course as in the past, we had to renew our annual membership, as we definitely will be back to enjoy many more of their familiar and upcoming features!

Donald McLeod

Great living history.

Ray Chow

We went during the winter so not everything was open, but still interesting to see the houses from that time. Fun to rent a golf cart for $10 to get from exhibit to exhibit.

Arnold Martin

nice 17-1800's history

Jessica Asbury

My mom and I loved this place! It was so cool and informative. There are people in most of the houses that are in period costume and are doing something that would have been done during that time. Very cool and would go back.

billy deal

My wife and I were a trip to the mountains mainly to visit the caverns but we came across this place and loved it!! Touring the houses from different cultures and time periods was a lot of fun and the people that work in each house or village were very informative! It's some walking involved but not bad at all.

Kim Martin

So much to see on these beautifully presented and lovingly kept museum grounds. People in period dress were full of fascinating information and we got to play period games and musical instruments with them. Spent half a day enjoying just the farms of early Ireland, Africa and Germany and the blacksmithing shop. We got to watch a blacksmith while she made items needed to make period-appropriate repairs to exhibits on the grounds. Look forward to going back to visit the early American homes another day soon!

Joan Clickner

I went by myself and enjoyed my day wandering around in history! I could definitely go back because there is so much to take in. I loved how hands on it was. You could go into all the books and crannies and touch stuff. Good fudge at the gift shop!

MizZfourtunate

Fun interesting place to visit friendly nice staff

Micki Bernatitus

This is a wonderful place. They have brought over actual historic buildings from the places and times when a lot of our ancestors would have been coming to the area. Also are homes that were built here at different time periods. Even if you are not a history buff you would enjoy this place and if you are you will really appreciate it. I have been a few times over the years, and they have added to the exhibits. I have enjoyed every time I have been. It's great for all ages. It is a bit spread out, but they do have a shuttle or golf carts to rent for making getting around more doable. I highly recommend this place.

Michael Malinsky

This is an incredible place. They have live exhibits that show life in the old country from the 1700s from Germany, Ireland, and West Africa and exhibits from 1800s new country showing how those cultures integrated with each other. They have ORIGINAL buildings from the 1700s and 1800s transported from Europe and from local farms. If your are in or close to Staunton you should go.

Jamie Fahnestock

The staff is knowledgeable and great to talk to.

Michele D

This is my 3rd visit this year and I live 2 hours away. Each time I discovered something fascinating. They didn't just recreate farms from 1700s Europe... They literally moved the buildings from there and reconstructed them here. Very educational and the interpretive "residents" were very knowledgeable.

Patrick Riley

This place is wonderful to visit. The staff is friendly and on the right days you could spend the whole day walking around. They really put effort into the entire experience.

Alfred Cooper

A wonderful place to see how people lived and prospered in the past and eked out a hard-scrabble existence.

Dean McCahan

If you enjoy historical things, this is a must-see. Most of the homes have been relocated from their original sites. The guides (at each period site, not walking with you) were very friendly and knowledgeable. Be prepared to do some walking - there are shuttle carts at some sites. Give yourself at least four or five hours if you want to take your time to see and explore everything. An interesting perspective of what life was like in ‘the new world’.

Jennifer

Good view of how people lived in different areas...lots of information......decent prices

April Clarke

Interesting and educational. All exhibits had volunteers there who were knowledgeable and ready to engage visitors. This was a Sunday and few visitors. Awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Chuck Hazy

Great place for family and education

Christian Lassen

This place was awesome! We went on a weekday morning before Hurricane Florence so half the workers were prepping everything, but they were still really helpful and friendly talking to us. The kids loved it, the adults were fascinated. And everything is really well done.

Vane Gabrijel

Some things where more interesting than others but a fine museum.

Sylvia Johnston

What a WONDERFUL experience! The hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining!

Wesley Shumway

Very cool educational and historic place. We were visiting family and spent the morning here. All of he workers are very fun, polite, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Kecia Lockhart

A beautiful museum of the cultures that shaped America. Mostly outdoor, scenic paths to various homesteads with gardens and livestock. They offer a shuttle service if the walking is too much. Story tellers at all locations share the periods experiences. We saw beer brewing, bread making, weaving and iron making. A wonderful day trip for the entire family!

Vira Cellee

Beautiful property with interesting buildings. I've been here several times and enjoy my visit every time. I love that you're not only looking at buildings but, the staff work the farms. Every single employee we came across took the time to speak to us and educate us on various items from the buildings to the hay making process. I've never felt overcrowded or rushed through the park. Renting a golf cart is a good idea if you have people in your group that may have difficulty walking. The blacksmith shop is my favorite!

Jessica Rowzie

Staff are so friendly. Beautiful place.

Lewis DeJoseph

Loved it. I went two days. It's hands on and a great way to learn about the culture's that made this country.

Michelle Clogan

This was a very fun experience and I would definitely recommend! We were a group of all adults, too. The presenters were a definite highlight. They were informative and interesting and answered questions from kids and adults very well. The only reading is the large plaques outside the structures - they left the structures themselves largely unblemished, which is nice. We got lots of photos and interactions with the animals. We went on a Monday afternoon, so I do imagine it being possibly too crowded on weekends with how small some of the structures are. Also, we were just passing through so we put our dog in the kennels. For kennels, they were very nice. The were open air, covered, and underneath some trees in the back of the parking lot. I would definitely bring a bed and a bowl of water if you're planning to use them. There's also only two, so I'm not sure how often they fill up. The dogs would be able to see each other, but they're probably a foot or two apart. There's also zero supervision of them, unfortunately.

Anna Nelson

A nice walk around a lot of different homes from different times. Doesn't make a lot of sense in the order of things

Malissa Anderson

I rated this place of three due to the fact. I was on a field trip with my child and we were rushed to see places in the little time when we were there. Didn't get to see all of the locations. Honestly and truthfully field trips like these needs to be set for a all-day experience. Parents should expect their children back after school finishes.

Johnny Bouder

Incredibly authentic and a ton to learn! Great for kids. My family really loved the Western Africa section. The entire walk around the museum is a bit long, but its worth walking until the end. You can then ride the shuttle golf carts back to welcome center.

Nicole Carney

I thought the working museum is very interesting any history nerd would love it like I did. We went when they were having Oktoberfest and thought is was pretty neat

Julia Fryer

Took a 9 year old for a beautiful day with some learning thrown in. Learned several new things, and developed a clearer idea of how the people who came before us lived! FCM staff are constantly undergoing new trainings to better your experience. They do not pretend to be from the same time and place as the structure you find them in, though. They are super hard working, as they farm using the appropriate techniques for their time period.

Vonda Lillard

Very nice living history museum! The staff dressed in period clothing and were very knowledgeable about the history of each exhibit.

John Hull

Cool living history displays of life in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries in Ireland, England, Germany, Africa and America. Great special events. Highly recommend.

Corey Hatch

The power of these demonstrations is that the staff has hands on experience with what it takes for survival for each period. Powerful way to learn and experience each period

Dale Griffiths

Awesome place for a historical perspective of early American culture

Heather Wooten

All of my kids from age 2 to age 15 enjoyed this place. It’s not often that we find a spot that has something for everyone. The “museum” if you can even call it that, is very hands on. My kids loves interacting with the costumes employees in each home. Close to gas and some lunch spots which is convenient. Bring water and rent the golf cart!! It’s $10 for a cart that seats for or $15 for the 6 seater. It was easy to drive and made it so much easier than dragging the younger ones all over the place.

Terry Pleskonko

A great place to explore the cultures that settled here. Also a great venue for receptions and parties.

Donna Searls

Nice to see how things were back in the old days

Dawn

This place is worth a visit. We loved it. We have visited a few times and can't wait to go back. We are huge history lovers and have been to all of the president's homes, Williamsburg, Jamestown, battlefields...this place is special. It is more laid back and low-key and you get a less crowded place to visit. I like the calmness. The surrounding area and drive there is breathtaking, no matter which direction you drive from. We learned so much and were delighted by the guides in the houses. The house from England is so interesting. And the Irish cottage is another favorite. They are all full of furniture and household items that make you feel transported back in time. :)

Gary Rogers

Love it. Constantly improving! Look forward to next visit. What a great area resource. Thank you great staff and volunteers!

Robert Foote

Love this place. The golf carts are helpful and fun.

Dudeist Monk

Such a great way to experience history. Everything is much more hands on and approachable. These are just set pieces behind glass barriers. It really feels like people are living in these properties and makes the whole experience more immersive.

sugi dewey

Hot day started at 9 was told after we paid for our ticket people won’t be around till 9:30 because if trading though some should be. Now they say maybe 10:00. The forge should take some time this is terrible. Nice grounds and the reason we traveled over 300 miles was to see the people in natural environment. Like I said nothing on web and not told till after we paid and I had to ask. Not the hospitality Va used to be known for.

Mia Pugh

A wonderful step back in time!

Marc Zavacky

Great place to take a walk through examples of historical living conditions and see how people went about their daily lives on the frontier.

JJ Butts

Fantastic people. Wonderful examples of colonial living. Great place to take kids.

Tina Davis

Lots of new things that we learned today. Great place, friendly and knowledgeable folks

shannon Grandison

Visited on paid school field trip. Was very disappointed with the behavior of a employees conduct and nasty attitude with the children! He was VERY Rude and obnoxious with them..everytime that he ask a question about that time period and they gave a wrong answer he would say things like: "that's stupid", "why would you even ask that", "what have you even learned in school", treating them like they were stupid... myself and the other parents were very disappointed and upset with the entire situation but we were glad we only had to deal with him at the first exhibit. But the other employees where kind and we enjoyed hearing them tell us about those time periods but because of that experience with that one employee I Would never go visit there again..
