REVIEWS OF New England Maple Museum IN Vermont

Melissa Richardson

Best place for tourists to visit!!! I want to get married on the little covered bridge.

Spencer Bell

The maple "creamies" are $3 for a 5oz cup of pre frozen soft serve! They don't serve it fresh, which begs the question where is it coming from?! Super over priced for a mis represented tiny serving. A creamie comes fresh from a soft serve machine not from a freezer in a cup!

Debbie Sosna

Great syrup and very friendly atmosphere

100% would recommend!! This place is adorable, and a perfectly quarky little road trip stop. The store is also on point. Do yourself a favor and try the maple creme cookies!

Awesome experience...so many goodies

Kitschy... Doesn't live up to the grandiose title "New England Maple Museum" and definitely don't pay the five dollars for the ten minute, self guided walk through the "museum". Samples at the end of the tour had little to do with maple syrup. A bunch of dips, relishes and spreads of questionable age set out in little bowls for communal tasting. Across the state in St Johnsbury VT is the Maple Grove Farms Museum. Worth the trip, good value, informative tour and you get a small bottle of actual maple syrup at the end.

Museum was kitschy in a cute way, but felt a little cluttered and disorganized. Loved the gift shop- lots of options, most of what you expected and some fun surprises. Great employees

Always thought this was a cool place and even brought a visitor from out of the State. Drove 3 hours out of the way and got a poor attitude after they found out we build solar farms. Never will return and will never recommend it again. Uncomfortable and embarrassing to say the least.

Kevin Dwelley

The new owners are great, and very personable. The new layout is spacious and easily navigable. There's plenty of parking and several photo opportunity areas on the grounds. They do take bus tours, so it can get busy, but it's worth a trip for the maple Lovers.

Very informative. The history of maple syrup was facinating. Don't miss the tasting area. I liked the darker maple syrups and the maple horsraddish mustard. They also have a smoked maple for cooking. Can't wait to try it on pork chops.

Great products a little pricey. The tour is just a movie.

Angela Blake

Great self guided tour about maple syrup and how it's made. Not too long but not too short either. Friendly and helpful staff! Lots of trinkets, souvenirs and delicious products; maple syrup, jams, jellies, mustards, honey, etc! Love the tasting room so you can be sure to bring home exactly what you like! And don't forget a maple creemee for the road! Yum!

Joseph Medeiros

Everything you need at a great price! And Maple sampling! We bought a couple gallons of syrup and they shipped it to us in Georgia ❤

Ahmad Abbasi

We visited around mid morning. We were greeted by a young lady who asked if we were intentionally visiting or just happened to pass by. We told her it was the second. She left us alone in the main hall and disappeared in an adjacent room. The place was empty of any other visitors. There was nothing in there that peaked our interest so we just left.

Funny little spot on route 7. Been into JR'S and this place since 1991. Always consistent , with some interesting food item to take home as a gift. The spices you will not find elsewhere, so give them a try. Museum is worth the tour.

Stopped in here to get some maple syrup and souvenirs on our family vacation. The staff was very friendly. They had a very large selection of gifts and syrup based goodies. Only negative thing I have to say is that the prices were a little higher than some of the other places we stopped at on our trip.

The name would indicate this is JUST a museum, but it oh-so-much-more. They have a gift shop where you can buy anything maple and other gifts, a sampling room, and great photo opportunities. A can't miss on your visit to Vermont.

Very informative museum!
