A charming small scale museum in the Burlington area. There are constantly new exhibits available to see, as well as loved classics such as the Ancient Egyptian section. Free admittance for UVM students on most days. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Visited this museum during the summer, when it is typically closed to the public, so was only able to observe a small portion of the exhibits. Thoughtfully laid out, and displaying many local and regional articles of significance, this museum is worth a visit. Staff are friendly and helpful, and can assist you in finding items of interest. Parking is limited, but generally available.

Items on display were nice, some great history there, my problem is the workers sitting around in different rooms, one worker in particular was just rude to a young child because he put his hand on the statue, made it very unwelcoming. Otherwise the artifacts are very interesting.

We went to the miniatures exhibit with high Hope's of seeing miniatures. No deal. Only 3 or 4 actual miniatures. Don't waste your time.

Beautiful building and nice exhibits. The museum isn't huge but will still take a good 90 minutes to two hours to visit.
