I was able to get into this is the place for no fee. Great stature and some monuments. Feels like there should be more going on here but it was rather dead. Maybe because it was cold and snowy. Check it out looks like they have horse back riding and some other activities. Plenty of parking.

Kerem Cantekin

Well not only it has almost like a mythical importance in the history of the state. Also it is very good experience to look down from here and try to feel, how would the valley look like when it was empty.

Reasonably priced. The staff was friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful. They were very knowledgeable about the different areas and wanted to make my stay very enjoyable. They also wanted us to feel like that we would return. They were remodeling, but still made things pleasant. We were able to spend several hours there.

Well presented and maintained

Great historical place to visit with great activities and reenactors to interest all ages. We learned to dance the Virginia reel, roasted s'mores, saw a black smith, ponies, old fashioned printing, and the staff were friendly and educational. Especially for the price, this is an excellent family attraction.

Abinadi Flores

Breathtaking views. If your kid loves trains, good spot to go to. Great snacks and places to visit.

I've been here several times (though its been probably 10 years or so since the last visit) I've always enjoyed walking around, watching the reenactments with the soldiers, talking to the volunteers who are in full character, this is a special place!

We love this place, especially in the summer. The Indian demonstrations are fantastic! When the buildings are open and the pioneer guides inside, you can learn a lot in an enjoyable way. We've been able to experience the pioneer pharmacy, various homemakers, hospital, barber shop, bank, leather-making store, printing press, and school. Kids never seem to tire of riding along the free "train" that serves as a hop on, hop off bus throughout the park. Panning for gold, racing boats down the stream, making arrowhead necklaces, and pounding leather are some of our other favorite activities.

OVERVIEW - 4.5 Came here on a late Sunday afternoon on a whim with the family. We've lived here in Utah for a few years, and never been. LOCATION - 3 Somewhere in the back of the Salt Lake Valley, couldn't have made it here without a GPS, granted a local may not have the same issue we had, in fact it was a little out of the way, kind of hidden. PRICE - N/A Didn't have to pay to enter, I'm sure there are side attractions such as a gift store and whatnot that probably costs money, but it was close when we arrived. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 The monument is well taken care of as it comes to monument care. I love the detail that was given to the statues, as well as the information behind who each personage was. POINTERS/PERKS - 5 Go on a Sunday late afternoon? EMPLOYEES - 5 If there are employees, they're probably behind the scenes. The grounds were well taken care of, and garbage was not visible, other than garbage bins.

So much to see, so much to do.

Wonderful place to go and learn more about Utah's history. They have a fun little store where you can get some things. Is definitely a place of reverence when you can remember all those wonderful and brave people who crossed the planes to came here and build what we enjoy today. Highly recommended place to go as a family.

Had my wedding in one of their building rentals and had a great experience. Their chaperone was super helpful and offered her help. They were very accommodating and professional. Julie and Alexa were both very patient with all our questions and last minute request. Thank you so much for your help in our big day celebration.

This is a pretty good heritage park interactive museum especially for someone who is not familiar with Mormon History, and the life and hardships they had to overcome when they entered the Salt Lake Valley.A new memorial was just dedicated to the children that had lost their lives making the trek along the pioneer trail. Very sad actually

This is the Place Park for a quality family fun experience! Interact with pioneers, mountain men, frontier women, and learn the religious symbolism of the family hogan from the Navajo. Included in admission are pony rides for the little ones, panning for fools gold, train rides, petting zoo and crafts! Gift shop is full of wonderful and interesting things!

There is so much for kids to do here, both scheduled and also to just have the freedom to play and be kids. They can pan for gold, imprint leather, make an native American necklace, pet animals, learn about old life, and I recommend the Rock pit where they dig in rubber pebbles for little polished stones, my kids did it for almost an hour and it cost $1. We got the grandparents pass with my parents, so we have been visiting it off and on, and the kids still haven't done everything. This is the place. . . For a good time!

Stephen Walter

Loved it except we got ripped off when purchasing a 3D model of a handcart from the print shop. The design was cool but it was so fragile it broke when trying to put it together. I don't think this is something that should be sold at an old time print shop. The concept of a 3d printer in the back is cool but you go there for the experience of old time stuff. Not new printing concepts.
