My kids love this museum! Great for ages 6 and under. Don't miss the art room behind the music room. Our favorite rooms are the grocery store, theater, and desert room.
This is a great place that is so filled with interactive fun for your children and we love bringing our kids here and the grandparents that get to visit. I especially love the diversity found in the displays and love how everything is available for your children to touch and feel and explore. Its very much like the preschool they attend and if you have not been here with your kids you need too! The splash pad and river walk behind them is also a great picnic place!
The kids love this place and so do I, I'm a big kid at heart , age 66 ❤.
Such an incredible place for little minds. Such a great learning place!!!
It's a cool place to take kids, but they want to charge 5 bucks for a child age Two?
Love love love this place!! My kids could spend hours here. They also have a fun splash pad and pond outside for the kids.
Great place for children to explore!
Great place for children, especially considering the price. We easily spend 2.5 hours here with an eighteen months old, and could have spent more.
Lots of fun experiences and cool little experiments to try. Had a blast here with my nephew.
Staff was very friendly , place was very informative. Great learning experience for children .
Small but decent place for the kids to have fun I loved it myself I thought it was adorable I come from l.a and I'm not sure if we have something similar to this but it was definitely cute and fun
Our children have a great time exploring a different area every time we visit. Thanks!
So fun! Great price and my little one had a blast
Way worth going to. If you have small kids stop reading and head right over. So many cool things to keep little hands busy.
We had so much fun here! It was only $5 a person and you can leave and come back as long as you keep your bracelet on. There are so many different rooms upstairs and downstairs, with fun themes. There is an elevator or stairs to get between the floors and a handicap/stroller entrance in the back. My kids had so much fun and we can't wait to go back!
Great museum for the kids. Lots to do. Would be 5 stars, but a lot of the displays are broken, or missing items.
I love it! A lot of fun for my daughter and nephews
There are so many things for our kids to do! We spent 2 hours there, and we only scratched the surface of fun here. We will be back for more!
Kids wanted to stay all day... So we did, with a short break outside to go to the splash pad.
Our kids had a blast here! They especially loved the airport, grocery store, and dressing up like a princess and Dragon. We spent around three hours playing and learning with our kids. There is definitely enough to keep them entertained and happy for a long time. I would say it is worth the cost for an afternoon of fun.
My kids and I love children's museums and we're so happy to have one here in our own town. We've been going here since it first opened and they've updated it a lot. The rooms are all fun (constructing, farm, supermarket, theater, etc.) and they keep all three of my kids, ages 11, 10, and 6 engaged for a long time. It's $5 a person, so I would recommend getting a membership, $90/yr for family of 5, if you plan on going often.
So cool. Our kids loved it.
Fun museum for kids. I personally think they charge too much for entrance. There should be a discount for city residents.
We were in town for a family reunion and came here with 15 children between ages 2-11. The children all had a fun time, but mostly those aged between 4-8. It is well maintained and organized into different activities such as airplanes, building, dinosaurs, and others. There are about 15 of these areas, and each area has about 5 activities. Honestly, I saw more tired parents than tired children - the children didn't want to leave.
Good place to bring a kid to entertain them for a couple hours. Lots of different themes and concepts for each room. Think thanksgiving point's nephew or something.
So much fun for kids! The little grocery store is super cute and my kids loved shopping and playing cashier. They also loved the transportation room!
The granddaughters loved it and had a great time there.
If you are brining kids (or have kids in St. Geroge) this is a must must must! We could have easily spend 3-4 hours here, there is a ton of activities for the kids in a really nice air conditioned building. We stop here every time we come to town.
It's a cute place to bring some kids, although the exhibits are a bit lacking. It kind of feels like a giant Playhouse for toddlers then science museum for children. I've been to other Children's Museums and of course they weigh more impressive. To be fair though those are in bigger cities than St George
Lots of fun rooms for the kiddos to explore. Really a gem if you have kids!
Our kids love this place - go and see for yourselves. You love it.
A really fun place to take your kids, there's so much to see and play with.
Be ready to spend some time here. Great place for young and old alike to explore, just remember that adults have to be supervised by children. They can't have any adults getting lost. :)
Lots of fun! Kids had a great time
My daughter talked about our visit for months. Couldn't wait to go back.
Great place for children younger than 10 with a lot of places for imaginative play and learning. The splash area and artwork outside are enjoyable extensions of what is inside.
My little nephew would love this place...
My kids love it, they have fun and even tho my oldest out grow a couple of things in there they have a good time with their little sister and other kids.
Great place to take the little kids. Very inexpensive with plenty of hands in activities.
Your kids will love it here! Nice place but some of the stuff really needs some tlc. Staff could be friendlier, and entrance procedures need some serious streamlining. Putting up with other people and their kids when its busy is a challenge.
This is a very fun place. My 7 year old boy enjoyed the basement, while my 5 and 2 year old girls preferred the upstairs. There are many different rooms to explore: dinosaurs, desert, basketball, castle, science, grocery store, farm, bank, president's office, theater (where we spent most of our time), airport, car repair shop, post office, and probably more I forgot about. It is $5/person, ages 2 and up. It is a great summer activity when playing outside is just too hot! I foresee I coming back many times so our girls can dress up and perform on stage.
Very impressive for a small town children's museum! Lots of fun things for the adults too.
Great place to escape the heat We played for about two hours! There is also a great splash pad next to it at the park!
Best children's museum I've experienced!
The activities here are fun for a wide variety of ages. My kids very much enjoyed the different activities in each room.
We love coming here every time we are in town. It's alwaysgot something to keep the kids interested for hours! Something for everyone!
I had so much fun here the other day with my daughter and her cuzing. And ex wife
Had a blast with my family. Each exhibit was excellent and well out together. We spent two hours inside, but could easily spend all day. My kids especially enjoyed shopping on the grocery store and pretending to be airport employees.
So much fun for my grandson! All exhibits (which are totally hands-on!) are off the main hall, so it was easy to keep track of a lightening-fast three year old.
Super fun! $5 price was amazing! My 9 year old and I had a blast and spent about 3 hours there. Would have given 5 stars, but so many of the exhibits and activities were missing parts or didn't work the way they were originally built to. But the cheap price made up for it. We really loved it!
Was a fun experience watching my nephew and niece enjoy the different play rooms and it had enough to do for hours of kid fun.
My kids, and even my adult down syndrome sister, had a blast here with so many things to do and see and so much hands on learning.
Awesome place for the kids! Our 3 yo daughter was delighted. All the different rooms with the "sceneries" for the kids are well done. She enjoyed the mini airport and the supermarket the most. We spent almost 3hrs in the museum.
A lot of different options for kids like climbing wall theater Bank under the ocean themed room just a little small of a building to accommodate a busy day packed full of kids can be overwhelming.
Lots of fun, interactive activities for kids! The adults in our group had fun as well. We liked that the activities were split into different rooms, and each room had a different activity for the theme. We only wished there were more to explore! (Even though there was quite a bit)
Love it! The perfect stop if you're passing through or live even an hour or so away and need a day trip. Very clean with great bathrooms AND little kid sized potty/sinks. This is separated into different rooms of focus and it's incredibly fun. Staff was helpful/friendly and we love stopping in whenever we can. Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) was $20
I wish I could stay all day. Park on the West, enter through the East, up the stairs (unless you've got a wheelchair--they'll get you in around back), and pay 5 bucks a person over 2! My sister and I casually wandered in and out of rooms while our 6 kids ranging from 11 to 3 yrs old rampaged, having the time of our lives. I'd say our 11 yr old was a bit bored after about an hour but the 3, 4, two 6, and 8 yr olds were still going strong after 2.5 hours. We would have stayed longer but had to be on our way. You can milk a cow, shop at Smith's, fly a plane, work at a bank, perform on stage, build a perpetual ball system, play Kings and Queens, make music, run, hide, play, sing, dance, jump, and just about anything else you can imagine. I can't wait to go back again.
We are visiting from out of town and this was just the ticket to beat the heat. The prices were awesome and my kids (3-11) were sad to leave.
This children’s museum is built out of an old schoolhouse, giving it a cool historic vibe. It’s not a huge children’s museum but our children enjoyed every bit of it. I liked it for the very reason of its smallness. It meant that there weren’t a thousand people with all the noise a thousand people make. There is something to engage every facet of a child’s imagination: music, art, drama, science, commerce, farming, the ocean, dinosaurs, and more. It really is a nice attraction.
If you are visiting this is a fun place to bring your kids. The staff are nice, and the museum was always clean. I will say that this place gets extremely busy, especially in the summer time when the kids are out of school...and around the holidays. Other than that its a pretty cool place to bring your kids and let them explore and learn.
Did the free day and the kids loved it
It was a fun place to visit with the kids for an hour or so. Don't go on the free day, it's not worth it. It was so packed in there you could barely move. Great spot in town too. Right downtown next to the splash pad, along with shopping and restaurants.
Loads of fun stuff for kids to do. I'd say was built for kids under 10yo.
Great place! There were quite a few things that didn't work, but my kids had a blast! They said they liked it more than Discovery Gateway in SLC.
Kids had a blast here!
Great place to take the kids. Lots of cool things. Kept me entertained as well :)
Definitely worth the price! Lots of different activities.
The MOST interactive, fun and dynamic children's museum ever! I am an adult and love attending with my kids. I am blown away at the level of attention and options for learning, fantasy, art and discovery that are afforded here. You will not regret the trip!
My kids enjoyed the exhibits. It was nice to have new exhibits that we have not seen before in other children's museums around the country
The kids had a lot of fun. Totally worth a visit.
Cool place for the kids! Lots of fun activities for a fair price.
This place is great. The kids had a blast and could go back every day for weeks and stay entertained.
This was so hands on for the kids. They were free to play, touch and let their imagination go. There was something for everyone. It was very kind friendly.
Amazing place for kids! Lots to learn and do.
We have lived in the area for 12 years and this is the first time I've been here! It was great and very nicely done!
This place was a blast! It looks small, but it's amazing how much exciting stuff they can fit in there with it not feeling squished We spent a couple hours and could have been there for twice as long. We came here on vacation and my 1 and 3 year-olds had a BLAST. On top of that, it was CHEAP at only $5 a person (that's a quarter of what we spend on our children's museums in Lehi). Will definitely come back here next time we're in town.
Super awesome place for the kids to go to
My kids beg to go all the time. It's fun. We don't go very often but it seems like they keep updating it and changing the exhibit to keep it fresh and new. There are two levels of fun and a splash pad outside. We usually spend 2 hours inside whenever we go. It's noisy but occasionally you can find a room that doesn't have as many visitors. There's a fairytale, submarine, dinosaur, flight, farm, building, science, desert, theater, and music and art room. Possibly more but that's what I remember.
It's a great place for the kids and grand-kids. Can be very crowded at time. Hours keep changing double check current hours.
Good time and memories were made.
Wonderful place to go with kids. Many rooms with great activities.
I took my girlfriend's younger brother (2.5 yr old) there. The place is wonderful. There were some places where I was having fun myself! His favorite room was the airport room where he checked the same bag 20 times and boarded the same plane at least 10 times. Only downside: it was hard to go home because he wanted to stay.
It was very hot inside. Need to crank up the AC... But fun and interactive for the kids...
The Saint George Children’s Museum is a must for any daddy daughter date. It is educational, well-maintained, and hours of fun. What I love most about the children’s museum is doing things together with my kids. From time to time they switch out some of the exhibits which adds to the fun of coming back again and again. Although it is free, I highly recommend making a contribution to help keep the children’s museum funded for years to come. They have recommended donations listed at the front entrance.
Awesome place. So much to do, see, and interact with. We couldn't hardly pull our kids out of the place as they were having so much fun. The submarine, mining set up, bank, and gracery store were the biggest hits with my kids. I would highly recommend going here if you have kids ages 1-12.
I miss this being free, but the kids still love it, even if it does cost $5 per person. They update the rooms occasionally, and keep it interesting for kids of all ages. The kids love exploring and learning in each room. The grocery room is fun to learn about the different parts of maintaining a store, but just the shipping end of it, and next door is the bank, where the kids loved pushing in cloth money and seeing how it moves through the tubes to the tellers. The science room was so fun to learn about weather and electricity, and the little train in the dinosaur room was a blast! The kids also loved climbing in the huge dinosaurs. The art room had so many activities to do, and engaged all the kids ages 1 to 10 in our group. We could have spent hours learning here!
We took a little family trip to Zion and stopped here on the way home. Fun place. Price is excellent. You can tell a lot of thought was put into this, and it was great to see that the community businesses were represented (assuming they sponsored some if the exhibits). Kids had a lot of fun. Plenty of activities. My only "complaint" is that some of the electronics of the exhibits/activities weren't working. Overall, great place to bring the kids.
Lot of wind today but a fun place to take kids. Don't miss the carousel
Very fun place for kids to get out of the heat for a bit.
This museum was perfect! My kids are 20 months and 2.5 and they had so much fun. Lots of pretend play and dress ups but equally as many things to do and work on. This will become a regular stop for us when we are visiting St. George!
We've been here before and it is a great experience! It's nice having a break from the children's museum in Las Vegas. Great place!
A great place for young children under 12 years. Adults can enjoy it with their children as they learn.
Great price, clean, entertained all my 6 kids...even my teens I dragged along. We live in salt lake area and loved this more than the ones in our area
So clean and breath taking! Best children’s museum I have been to! My little guy (17 months) had an amazing time. Two levels with multiple themed rooms. I can’t lie... I’m 27 and took my mom with us and we both had as much fun if not more than my 1 year old.
It's a pretty entertaining spot for my 4 & 6 year olds. They could've stayed there all day. Unfortunately as an adult it got boring really quick. If you can suffer thru it your kids will love it.
Fabulous place for lots of ages of kids! There is something for everyone! Dino lovers, dress up, performers, science lovers, farmers and more! We especially enjoyed the interactive milking of a (fake) cow and the music room. Would go again, and if I lived in town I would get an annual pass.
This place is absolutely phenomenal. There is so much for the kids to do and learn. They have a small reading room, music room with a stage and sound booth. Airport, grocery store, Farm, and so much more. My children absolutely love going there! For $5/person and we can play and learn all day!
We were in St George for a week and visited twice. Our children are 6 years old and under and asked to go repeatedly. The downstairs, especially the dinosaur room, is fantastic and occupied our childrens' attention for an extensive amount of time. You can easily spend three to four hours here on your first visit. Highly recommend!
I take my kids there every time we go to saint George. Variety of things for kids to do and will entertain them for hours.
Very interactive exciting place for kids, I'd recommend even up to age 10
Great place for kids! The exhibits are clean and well kept. Areas are all divided into themed zones. There’s wet wipes on the walls for cleaning for those who are germ conscious. Decent price and overall wonderful atmosphere. Our two year old loved it! We will come back next time we visit St. George.
So many fun themed rooms to explore
This place is amazing. I've been to quite a few children relevant museums a d centers and this one is at the top of the list. The price is extremely reasonable as well. In fact when I saw the price I did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. Parking is conveniently located and there are plenty of activities to keep your kids entertained (and me) for a couple of hours. Best yet there is not a forced gift shop as an exit! Highly recommended!
My kids loved it! Lots of different activities!
My daughter LOVES coming here! We live 80 miles away but were in St George a lot this summer. We made sure to bring swim suits and play outside and then come inside and cool off. She could spend hours playing in each room.
We are from Salt Lake and were prepared to pay SLC museum prices ($20/kid and$22/adult). We were so pleased to learn that the st george children's museum is cost friendly and so interactive. There are so many fun rooms and places to learn.
This is a great museum. All the kids with us had a great time and the adults did too. There is also a splash pad and river right next door to it.
An amazing place to take kids ages 3-7, so many cool exhibits that offer hands on activities that give the kids hours of fun.
My kids love this place! So many fun things to do
This is a really amazing place for kids! My wife and I visited and the staff was great in showing all of the great stuff the kids have to adventure with and imagine. Have to bring kids here to enjoy as a bigger kid. Lots of different activities from being a mail man, a banker, an archeologist, and so much more! They are always looking to improve and make it the most fun possible for the kids!
Great place for any age from toddlers to older kids! The kids love this place! They have neat facts all around the museum too. Like the below pic. The only reason I did 4 stars was because I think the adults should not have to pay as much as the children. It's 5$ for adults and children.
My daughter had fun, but... There aren't any real exhibits. Rather it's filled with toys and activities you'd find at a preschool. The first Thursday of each month is FREE day. This is the only time I'd go if we were to go back again.
This place is wonderful for kids to learn, experience different things, build, and use their imagination. There are several different areas with themes from science and dinosaurs to art and music. My kids could spend hours here, not to mention my wife had to drag me out kicking and screaming as well.
There is so much to admire at the St. George Children's Museum! The educational value of each room, and the artistic value of each set are incredible and inspiring. We always get completely worn out when we go, but fortunately Judd's ice cream shop across the street from the Tabernacle is right there for an after-museum family snack. The sound tubes, the art section, and the rock quarry are some of my kids' favorite features of the museum. Go! You will not regret it. (Take extra adults if you can.)
We had an absolute blast at this children's museum. They have so many little exhibit rooms and everything is organized and clean. It wasn't even super busy and crowded for a Saturday. I really liked that they have people walking around sanitizing and wiping everything down. Loved it and we'll be back!
At $5 per person, this is an amazing value. Lots of micro experiences for the children. Our kids didn’t want to leave. Beautiful location downtown- bring swimsuits so that the kids can play at the splash pad around the corner.
Place is not bad, but we have been to better.
Great value. So many rooms with a great variety of activities. The kids can touch everything so it was a huge success!
Great place to explore especially with young kids. I was entertained and interested in several of the displays myself. They have several different sections on two floors of the building that are themed and interactive. Our kids were entertained for hours and I enjoyed being there as well. Some of the areas start to feel small if there's a crowd, so go during off hours and skip and come back to crowded rooms.
My 8 year old girls did not want to leave and we spent nearly four hours there. Definitely stopping there again.
Such an amazing place for young children. I took my 1.5 year old daughter and 6 and 8 year old cousins and they had such a blast.
If you have young children, you’ll love this location. Fun place for your kids and contains a variety of experiences. Price is very reasonable. Next door to the historical tabernacle which is also worth visiting.
Such a fun place to take the kids! We loved that each exhibit was in a different room so the kids were all in one area at a time. There were a plethora of activities good for various ages. The price was incredibly fair as well. We will definitely return!
It's really cool. Having more seating for parents would make it perfect.
perfect for lil kids
The kids love it! Lots of cool things to interact with.
Kids loved each room and didn't want to leave. It is well made and so much to do.
The Children's Museum has many different things to do and it's a great way to spend the day with your kids.
Had so much fun here! I think I had as much fun as my four year old son! Lol.
We bring our kids to the St. George Children's Museum every time we visit St. George. It has activities that all of our kids can have fun doing. There are different themed rooms so if a kid gets bored with one room, just move down the hall and try a new activity. It can get quite busy on certain days especially if there is a school group there.
Great place for kids. Near the splashpad
A lot of fun. Small museum. A couple of hours were enough for my kids
Great place for "littles." My 7-year-old is almost to old for the museum and my 10-year-old was well beyond the offerings, however, if you have kids 2-5, it's a great place to go!
The splash pad was busy, but everyone there was having fun. Nice place to cool off. By the river part there is shade for adults to sit in that is closer to the kids.
The kids have a fun, but I shouldn't have to pay 5 dollars for each kids, and for the wife and I. When it is supposed to be a donation.
This children's musuem was so fun and has so much to offer for all ages! Our kids were entertained for hours! We kept saying to each other that we wish we had one close to us that was affordable like this one! It is a really neat place and has a ton of hands on stations and lots of learning opportunities!
Excellent for kids ages 2 to 10 in my opinion. They learn while playing. Price is very reasonable. My kids ages 2 to 8 loved it. We have been to multiple kid museums and this one has been one of their favorite ones. Everything was clean and well organized and you can tell they like to keep it always in excellent conditions. Also excellent customer service. Free parking.
The exhibits here are fun and interactive. My kids LOVED every room in this museum. It is a fabulous place to take the kids and spend a few hours playing.
This is a great place for grandparents to buy passes for young kids. So many activities and fun things to do.
What a fun place to spend the afternoon. We have a high-energy 2-year-old that loved every minute of this place and kept asking us (for days) to go back. We live up in SLC, so it's easier said than done. The whole place lets kids explore, observe, play, pretend, and even just wander. She loved it, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're down there.
Well worth the $5! Something for every kid! We spent almost 3 hours there and our 2 year old was still sad when we left!
This was a great museum. We are Thanksgiving Point members so I didn't have great expectations for it. I was pleasantly surprised by the exhibits and different areas that it had. I enjoyed it more than Discovery gateway in SLC.
Awesome little children's museum. Loads of activities for kids of all ages. Price was great; service was fantastic and friendly. Really neat, historic looking building on the outside in a cool part of town. Lots of neat little areas for the kids to play, from a firemen section, space/science area, music, dinosaurs, the list goes on. Highly recommended!
We have a 3 year old and a 7 month old. Our 3 year old loved it. He has so much fun going around and exploring all the different rooms. In one of the rooms downstairs the had a little play area that was perfect for our 7 month old. We will be coming back.
Amazing place and tons for kids to do. Really cheap daily rates $5 I think. Our kids loved it, even our 13 yr old. They sell yearly passes as well.
This is an amazing place! I am so grateful to live in a community that has this kind of place for families to take their children!!!
My grandchildren love this place. So many neat things to explore.
Great place to keep kids busy and cool!
