REVIEWS OF Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point IN Utah

Thomas Gardner

So many good kid friendly things to do. Nice reasonably priced restaurants. Stimulation overload for the little ones, and crowds are not bad at all. Very safe and easy to navigate.

Kylie Madsen

This place is the king of children museums. So much fun and so much to do.

Brad Leavitt

So this place is pretty darn good. NOT AMAZING...but pretty darn good. There are some good activities that is open for kids to play on and it is definitely reared towards kids and NOT adults. As an adult, it was fun to go around with my kids even on some of the ropes course areas and help when they were not quite big enough to do it all on their own. The games are really fun (when working properly) and the other rooms are good too. The first half star get's lost as there is a lot of dead space not utilized to it's potential. A possible other half star could potentially be lost as it can become crowded quick but this fluctuates. I would only bring down another half star but it brings me to do a full as the price for a one day pass is overpriced to say the least. Now if you are looking into getting a season pass to Thanksgiving Point, which also includes other museums if you travel around) it would be worth getting that and then you can come here lots, and see other wonderful areas that Thanksgiving Point has to offer. As a single day admission though this is difficult to rationalize to it's full potential. Understand that this place is still great and the activities that are there can keep kids entertained for a while and it can hopefully become an educational experience for them as learning to move and create. But the cost is high for kids and adults, and not all of the space is being used up correctly. Still would recommend trying it out and see if purchasing a year long family membership would be worth it for your family.

Boss_boy_ Noah

I was on the high ropes course that cost 8 dollars and I turned around. The people up there said you have 30 mins to get a refund , and I was up there for ten mins. I go to the front desk and they say no refunds. I wanted to do the other things, but still no refunds! If you afraid of heights don’t do it. This place is fun but, they won’t give you a refund even if you don’t do it! So don’t do the high ropes. This place is a rip off!!!

Cameron Evans

Great place to take the kids to get their energy out. We always take ours every couple weeks.

Mandi Avila

Great place for the kids to play, discover things, great hands on activities. A lot of parents use it as a babysitting place and just let their kids run wild while they socialize or play on their phones which I annoying. Don't ever go on a day when their field trips! 10 times as many kids with even less supervision. See buses outside and just turn around and go somewhere else for the day!

Quincy Bridge

Fun and adventure around every turn. Just a little crowded. Some kids so excited they forget to wait their turn.

Tyler Higley

I know this is a kids place... But as a parent it's a fun place to learn along side your child. Some of the play places and water areas I felt like I was a kid again. I loved watching my two year old explore a rope bridge and watch how to channel water through pipes. All of the attractions let your kid learn and explore on their own. A ton of places to sit down as a parent. Cafe has good food and the toy shop in the front have some awesome toys for kids, and puzzles for those adults who are still kids at heart. We went during winter time, so we didn't see the outside attractions.

Pete

Honestly this probably is the best place for kids in the Salt Lake and Utah county area. There is a huge jungle gym area that also has spots that teach kids about different animals and how they are unique, an urban play area that teaches about different professions like music, veterinary, banking, acting, etc., A bug learning center, an earthquake and water play area, an outside playground and a maze area. There is so much to do and you can end up being there 4-5 hours very easily.

Megan Parker

I LOVED the real life "Jamison expedition" portion. It was a real fun exhibit.

Courtney Aho

This is hands down, my nephews' favorite place. Every different area is fun and engaging and can occupy little kids for hours on end. It's definitely a little pricey, but if you make it a whole day trip you get your money's worth. I wouldn't really recommend it for kids over 8, there are a few exhibits that would be fun for them, but overall it's geared towards the younger kids. I always bring a book with me, there are lots of benches everywhere for the adults to relax where you can easily keep an eye on the kiddos. The cafe has pretty decent food, I usually pack a lunch for the kids and buy myself lunch there so we can sit inside and eat. They don't usually allow outside food in the cafe, but they have picnic tables outside for you to eat a packed lunch.

Matt Mogensen

Lots of things to do for kids of all ages. Our 2 year old loved it!

Tina Green

So much to do it would take multiple visits. Top notch

Darren King

A great place to explore human curiosity!

whitney ammon

This was a lot of fun with all the different section you could visit and play

Sierra M Southwick

Bring clothes and shoes to get wet in! My cutie niece SOAKED my shoes (on purpose). It was so much fun! Just should have worn sandals ;)

Mike S

My younger children love this "museum." It's more like a very large playground where the children can go crazy. They can keep themselves busy for easily 2-3 hours.

HeavenlyMayhem

Lots of fun for my kiddos ages 14 to 6. We could spend 6 hours there if we had time. Would highly recommend.

Lilibeth Wong

So fun for kids! My daughter loved the rainforest section! She went through it so many times and couldn't keep up... it was crowded and some kids were extremely rude! But I blame the parents. There were a couple kids that made up for the rude ones

Daniel Akalis

My kids like exploring this place. Best yearly pass to own cause not only you get into this museum but the dinosaur museum, the animal farm and gardens of Thanksgiving Point. Also discounts to the tulip festival and Halloween maze.

Lisa Rodgers

Great place to take the grandkids they had a great time. Highly recommend going.

Amanda McKnight

Such a fun and playful place to take your children. Highly recommend membership! It is definitely worth it. We come often. So many options for all types of kids and so many things to do!

Anika Ferguson

the other times we've gone it's been for the museum. Today my kids tried the high ropes course and loved it. They are 9 and 10 and got hooked into their harness and shown the safety features and were able to explore and play in the course for an hour. I could look up from the floor and see them at all times and waved back and forth. They had a blast.

Tifani Baird

Love this place. Great place for kids of all ages!

Skyler J

Kids love this place. At least our kids always will!

Christina Scofield

This was a really fun place. My kids are all getting older so it wasn't as fun as we were hoping. Definitely geared for younger kids. We still has fun though...

Teri Furlong

It’s such a fun place for the kids. But it is not kept up very well. The water area is always a mess and somewhat dirty. And some of the sites don’t work. And it’s expensive. Overall it’s ok. But I’ll probably take my kids to a free splash pad next time.

Katy Pine

Very large interactive children's museum with lots of different areas and a big variety of things to do. My 10 yr old loved it, and we witnessed children of all ages having a great time! There are pretend-play areas, climbing areas, and creative expression areas.

Casey Van Camp

Very fun place. Kids loved the interactive games and displays. The climbing area was their favorite.

Carli Winter

This place was so incredibly fun. Kind of stumbled upon it on Google maps, but very glad I did. I think my fiance and I were here for about 3 hours. Theres lots of stuff to do and see. We had an amazing time.

Travis Cook

My kids love this place! It gets busy on Saturdays but there are so many activities and fun things for kids to do you really cant even do it all in just a few hours. Definitely worth revisiting repeatedly.

Evan Draper

An awesome, hands on museum for the whole family. The waterworks area is super fun, but you might want to pack extra clothes for the kiddos. The jungle area was my child's favorite area by far with a jungle gym maze and rope bridges to explore. Can't wait to go again.

Annie Nielson

Lots to do for kids, from young babies to tweens. Plenty of places for parents to sit while watching their kids play. Don't forget to check out the large Discovery garden outside.

SoCal2017

You really get the best out of your money. Four hours went by quickly. Just be sure to come on a full stomach unless you want to spend a few bucks.

Francis Lewis

Our 2-year old girl absolutely loves this place! She's still a little small for a lot of their stuff, but she has so much fun with the rest of it. We've been several times and still haven't explored everything.

Jack Spicer

My grandchildren just loved this place. From the water works to the arts and crafts.

Ginny Anderson

Wonderful place for kids to get their wiggles out. They get to learn while having fun. It's a great place for your whole family, and we've always felt safe here.

Andrea Smith YourEssentialPT

My kids love it. Send like Friday afternoon is a little quieter.

Steven Terry

Perfect place for the kids to let their bodies and their imagination run wild. An absolute blast every time

Tyler Ellis

I am currently a teen going through, well life. But once I stepped in, I felt like a kid again! I seriously could not stop smiling! (And yes I realize that's an oxymoron).

Rose Ramos

Great place lots of things to do. We went to the Butterfly exhibit spent maybe a hour and a half but ony about 30 minutes or so with the Butterflies. Not to crowded, but the price for what you got is very high. If you are going to go you might as well make a day of it and get the explorers pass. Our favorite is the curiosity museum. My kids are 8 and 11 and and can spend hours there!

David Morris

Lots of activities for my grandchildren ages 12 yrs to 2 yrs old. Season pass is THE way to go!

ryan allen

This is an easy way to spend half a day, there's so much to do and see here. There's multiple sections to this and each one is easy to spend lots at time with. Give this a try, definitely a great use of time to entertain your kids. Also make sure to check the outside section out we didn't notice it at first.

Anna Sophia Doane

Super fun and interactive for the kids. Some parts were for older kids so my six year old nephew couldn't really enjoy them fully but he had fun nonetheless.

Red Mesa

Great place to take the whole family.

Lena Clark

Fun place. My toddler loves it! I appreciate that parents can climb around with the kids. It can get really crowded though, which makes it loud and overwhelming.

Isaiah Olson

Loads of fun things for kids and pretty entertaining for adults as well. You could spend your and hours here for sure. It was not too busy with we were there but I could see that maybe being an issue at peak times. Definitely recommend it if you have not already. Also if you live in the area the passes are not overly expensive

Jaime Alejandre

Great place for some family fun. My wife and I enjoyed it almost as much as it kiddo.

Lisa Howell

Love this place! Great for kids off all ages! We usually spend all day here in Tuesdays in August. It is the least crowded two hours before closing.

Cassidy Hadlock

Going around dinner time is the best. It is not nearly as crowded.

Amanda Buchmuller

An incredible children's museum that my kids loved! They literally could have spent days playing here! I love that they are part of the ASTC travel passport program too!

Rebecca Gardner

Such a well done museum! So many cute places for kids to explore, and things for all ages.

Angelina Mondaca

It's big and has games for everyone. The outside section is wonderful

Michele Gardiner

It's fantastical. So much fun for the entire family. Take your friends & family & go often! You'll love it!

S M

Super fun museum with a great canopy course and other fun activities!

Leah Dymock

My kids loved this!! We spent several hours and still didn't see it do everything. It's 100% interactive museum for kids/families.

Anginette Mc

Fantastic as always! Nice and clean. Staff helpful and attentive. Only wish as a parent visiting with the school group could have had a discount friend price- cap on comp chaperone tickets.

Kyler Brinkerhoff

We had a great time. I have heard stories that it can get pretty busy, but we were one of few on the Fourth of July. I would definitely recommend it to the adventurous types out there.

Bradyn Lystrup

This museum is incredible! It easily entertains both my two year old as well as a 12 year old for hours. I as the adult parent still am amused at all the different displays and attractions. Easily worth the money and if you're a local worth the pass to Thanksgiving point for the year so you can not only visit here as often as you'd like but also go to the dinosaur museum as well as other attractions. It's always been very clean when I've come which is an accomplishment considering how many kids come through here and kids seem to always be sticky somehow. I definitely recommend!

Erin Lewis

Went on a school field trip. Place was very fun and interactive for the kids. Parents/ adults were also encouraged to get in and play with the kids.

guppy the fish Woods

Fun place for the kids. $2 Tuesdays in August are the best!

Mark Harris

We absolutely love this place. Our kids always love exploring and everything is hands on. It is nice to be where our kids can be themselves and learn and play in a safe environment. 8 times going and we still love it. Only down side is if your kids get too excited they can get away from you.

Erick Delgado

Know that you won't be able to do everything in one visit! There is so much to do and my kiddos stay entertained for hours! We chose to get an annual pass in order to maximize the use of the museum. We go back all the time and always have fun!

Janay Glenn

It is a hug play ground you can easily spend hrs here and not get enough of. On one of my visits I lost one of my 4 kids and they were quick to help find her I could not say enough about this place to families with kids around me.

Zac Richins

This place is a great children’s museum with a great variety of activities. Whether it’s spending time climbing in the jungle or practicing your vet skills in Kidopolis, there is something fun to do. Unfortunately there are often parts of exhibits that are non-functional. I think it’s the challenge that anyone would face when running exhibits for kids. It’s also a very expensive place to visit. If you’re local, buying the annual pass is the only way to go.

Kinsale Barker

My kids love this place! Highly recommend coming here with your children.

Jim Dodds

My kids and I loved it! It's like the Magic House in St. Louis, but on a bigger scale. Get a family pass because you won't be able to do it all in one visit.

MATTHEW H

My least favorite place at Thanksgiving point. The dinosaur museum is definitely better.

Dani M Bastian

There is something for everyone here. My kids can spend an entire day here and not get bored and want to come again the next day.

Katina Anthony

Why this place is awesome for kids, it is very expensive. While they have specials in August ($2 Tuesdays), this causes so much overcrowding. Also, some of the displays, particularly in waterworks, were broken.

Em End

So, funny story. There was four of us (we are not from UT) and we were looking for something to do fairly close to SLC. we show up and it is mostly a place for children (we are all adults). We were a little upset because we drove a little ways, but then we found out they have a SUPER cool ropes course for only $12! All of the other museum entry fees were $20! We had a BLAST! My fiancé and I were laughing and it was like we were kids again. Super nice staff, all are relatively young but want you to have fun! Just note that this rope activity course is only for an hour, and it is fairly short but we went though about 3 times And mixed it up so we weren’t doing the same rotation over and over. Fun little hour activity, I feel like I got more than my 12$ worth :) will definitely return purely for the ropes course

Molly Romney

This is one of the best places in Utah to bring your kiddos! It was definitely more fun for our younger children but can be fun for kids of all ages. Who thought learning could be this fun!?

Michelle Niederhauser

FIVE stars for variety of fun activities for children and youth. THREE stars for the extremely loud and exhausting experience. Not much space to sit and wait while the kids play means that many people have to stand and wait. Bring your water bottle and a lot of patience. The kids will love it!

David Dye

We actually went to the timp storytelling festival. Great!

Nathaly De La Torre

It is very busy and fun, however there were two staff members that were hovering and trying to micromanage guests a bit. Chill, kids are having fun and were well behaved!

Eric Forbush

Honestly the most fun museum I have been to. They really have something for all ages. I could easily spend all day here and then some. Definitely worth the price!

Brett Allen

Needs liquid hand sanitizer stations like that have at the the discovery museum in SLC. Over all it is better though. I recommend getting an annual pass because you will want to come back several times. We Like the fun traveling showcases. AC could be turned up--mid summer temperatures and it was cooler outside than inside. For our family if we use our Thanksgiving point pass at least 6 times in a year it would be equal to going and paying 6 separate times. If I go 7 times I save $68, 8 times $138, 9 times $206 etc. And so on. So if we went once a month as a family it would be $816 or a family pass at $275.

Debi Pope

Kids love it and although its costly at $20 an adult and $15 per child....we can spend 4 hours easy here. I would be tempted to go more often if an adult entry was cheaper. There is a lot of options for the kids to explore and get them thinking and discovering. It can be crazy when it's busy. I also like the kids meal options for $5:95 .

Rebecca Illum

We love the Museum! Our kids have so much fun and they can touch everything so it makes the experience enjoyable for the parents and the kids! They learn so many cool things. Definitely one our favorite places to explore.

Kristina Millis

Fun but crowded. My children are 5 and 2, and they had lots of fun in the exhibits. Their favorite room was the water room. They provide rain boots and smocks, but they basically do nothing. I was a bystander and I got pretty wet, so bring extra clothes for the kids! We went when there was a ton of field trips, so to say that it was crowded is an understatement. My children weren't able to do everything they wanted to because of the amount of people, but they did have fun with the things they could interact with. The music room was definitely a favorite. We'll go again, but probably not for a while.

Miranda Davis

We can easily spend all day at the Museum of Natural Curiosity! The staff is always very helpful and friendly, the building is well kept, and it's so big that even when there are a lot of people there, it doesn't really feel crowded. My one facility complaint would be a lack of drinking fountains, so as long as you have your own water bottles, you're set.

Maya Jemison

I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE ITS AMAZING!!!!!☺️

Karla Barton

There is so much to do here. This is hand down my kid's favorite museum. The building's architecture is stunning. They have stations for kids who love climbing, blocks, acting, art, insects, water play, movies, music and so much more. I love their water stations. The best part is the museum provides waterproof clothing and rain boots (bringing your kid home dry is always a mom win.) The percussion instrument room was our favorite. Love this place and can't wait to go again!

Dennis Meyer

Perfect for hot Summer days with axrive kids. Easily the best children's Discovery Museum we've been to. It's new enough that everything is in perfect condition, none of the pieces are missing for the activities, and there are a lot of options. Our 10 year old had just as much fun as our 4 year old. Big bonus: as of July 2019, they participate in the ASTC network. Our family membership from the Discovery Cube in LA got us four passes here for free. Lamentably, ASTC passes don't work for Thanksgiving Point's other areas. I was told they stopped accepting them for the Farm and Dinosaur Museum last October.

Hanah Roberts

So much fun for my little boy! He loves the water section especially. So glad we got year round passes and that this museum is included! There's definitely fun things for kids to do of all ages! A jungle gym area and a little town where they can be vets and mechanics and a lot of other things. Little baby play areas by the big kid areas too so you can keep an eye on all your kids. Worth checking out!

Jenifer Haley

Really great for tiny tots through 4th grade. Surprisingly crowded with littles on a Monday. Good food, but spendy, limited choices. Ropes course is great to keep big kids and adults interested.

Brandon Nowland

Had everything the kids liked. Lots of variety.

Summer Peterson

I went during the 2 dollar Tuesdays. The line was long but went fast. I would recommend going after noon. It seemed to slow down then. We also are their 2.00 special cookie Sunday. Great way to get the kids energy out. Indoor/ outdoor areas.

steven capp

Awesome place fun for the whole family including the parents.

chris autry

Amazing place. We have four kids, ages 6-1 and there is something for everyone. The cafe is really well priced with good food, which is rare for an exploration emporium like this. Our kids love coming here and it is always clean. You can't go wrong by visiting!

Steve Slater

Awesome place for the kids! I may have given 5 stars if it wasn't so overcrowded with school kids. They need to stagger their field trips a bit, in my opinion, to give the kids a chance to experience as much as possible. Very cool hands-on exhibits for kids to learn about weather, animals, money, making television, and more!

Darleen

This is such a fun place! We went on two buck Tuesday and it was truly a fantastic deal. My favorite part is the garden outside. The kids enjoyed the playground. But the real winning attraction for everyone was the rooes course up on the ceiling. I "highly" recommend trying it out! (Get it?)

K W

This place is great!!! Kids played forever at kidopolis. The fake town with so much interactive things for kids to stay busy. Best part only one entrance so you can post up and man the entry/exit. Scan the pets in the Vet. Build with large blocks. Rob the bank and sneak out. Dress up and perform on stage. So much more. And that’s just the one room!! The climbing treehouse and the water works were equally entertaining. And the water works allows kids to play and build water ways. Kids WILL get wet. Included a water table with built in chairs for the smaller ones. So bring a change of clothes! So much fun. Will be back for sure.

Fawn Arana

Part of it was hard to keep track of my nonverbal autistic kid taking him alone other than that he loved it.

Emily Oliphant

One of the most entertaining places for kids of all ages. Something for everyone... For hours of fun!

Jolene Yaksich

Such a fun place for kids all ages

A Yancey

Hours! You can spend hours here! This museum is so well done. Not only will you get tons of exercise moving with your kids through the exhibits, you'll also get plenty of stimulus for your brain, both creatively and intellectually. Some of my favorites are the koi fish and playground outside, the Rainforest, and Waterworks. I always have just as much fun as my kids. Make sure if you're only going once that you plan enough time. Highly recommend!

Bruce Miller

This place is so fun and so big. You could spend all day and not see&do it all. We buy a family pass every year for Thanksgiving point and its well worth the money!!!

Patrick Buell

Trying out Thanksgiving Point on a Tuesday can be quite adventurous as their daily admissions prices are reduced to $2. However; the museum offers an abundance of highly interactive areas for all ages.

Ilya Oyzerskiy

Lots of fun and educational things to do for kids.

Le Sirena Rudolph

This place is the perfect place to bring children. They have different rooms filled with different activities such as a music room, puppet show, magic store, bug room, large blocks, jungle are, outside garden, etc. I loved how it is sectioned off for specific play. One downside was there's no inside area to eat or drink your own food that you brought for your kid. You have to go outside to where you entered from. It also gets really hectic with tons of kids running around during peak hours, especially when there are tons of fieldtrip going on. I'd go again, just during a less busy time.

Adam DeWitt

My family loves coming here. Everytime we come we find something new and fun to do. It's been a great place to learn and explore for our 3 y/o and we look forward to taking our son their when he gets a little older.

Danno UnitStills

Kids love it here. . . A bit pricey but worth going once or twice a year for our family

Sarah Wills

It's awesome!! My kids loved it!

Curtis Wood

Great place to take the kids. Some of the exhibits were broken which was a bit disappointing. I think if the whole place isnt running at 100% then the price to get in should be reduced. But overall the kids enjoyed it. If we go back I'd hope it's up and running at 100%.

Tami Wall

Love this meusem. So many different things to do. And it is for all ages. I may be an old grandma but I try to squeeze like a boa.

Rachel Joy Jackson

This museum is unique in children's museums! My kids love the kids sized doors in front. Each section is curated to perfection with places to climb, pretend, engineer, explore, and even get wet!

Cara Lockard

My kids never tire of coming here. The best time to come it's a weekday at around five o'clock. It's pretty empty then.

Travis Baker

Love the water part. Lots to do. Hours of fun.

Daniel Nham

A ton of fun activities, a perfect place for day with kids of all ages

Jessica Garcia

A fun place to bring the kids! The outside areas are great also. Especially after the water area.

Bethany Zokaites

We decided to stop by here on our last day in town. I'm so glad we did. The museum of curiosity is great! My 6 year old enjoyed all of the hands on play, especially the music room. I thought the massive climber looked really fun by here was nervous about going in. Regardless, he had a great visit.

Carlie Morris

Second time for us. Our kiddos love exploring this museum. The WaterWorks and Jungle are the areas they like to spend lots of time in. Be sure to bring extra clothes. Our kids get pretty soaked!

Morgan Carter

I like the place alot I just dont understand why some of the attractions are broken all the time? Especially the Water Works section. Half of the activities in there are consistently broken and they never fix them. That place has had broken stuff for the last two years! Seriously lacking in basic maintenance.. I wonder if the museums financial situation isn't good? That seems to be the only logical explanation.

Jacob Arnell

Fantastic way to spend a few hours with kids, lots to learn and explore.

Nila Bair

We had a lot of fun here for my nephews birthday party. There really is fun for both the kids and parents. Great hands on learning place and don’t forget to venture outside, there is a lot to see and do there as well!

Andy Paulos

The Museum of Natural Curiosity is always a great place to bring the kids. We have a neighborhood annual pass so we go there pretty often family night. It's a great place for the kids to get their wiggles out especially during the winter. We especially like the jungle area with the cargo rope obstacles and Jungle Jim's as well as the nursery area where little kids can play with balls and whatnot.

Karena Warwick

Always a hit! The older kids enjoyed the new exhibit teaching about the Virgina Colonies in a game format. The water room and jungle room are consistently everyone's favorites. This time we did the ropes course and it was a neat experience to see the museum from up high.

Rebecca Muhlestein

If I could give zero stars I would. The museum is great but the horrible customer service ruined it for me. They advertised an activity that we would have to drive to the other side of the park to purchase a ticket for. I called their oporator and was transferred a couple times only to find out that I would have to purchase the tickets online. This wasted mine and my little brothers and sisters time in the museum (they had tickets and we're trying to help me solve this, ON THEIR TIME!) Really sucks!

Dustin Nicholes

This museum was so much fun. My kids could easily spend all day playing here.

Alan Webster

Super fun place for kids and adults to run around and explore. Always worth the drive. Can't wait to got back.

Sherilyn Brown

This is a fun place to take younger kids with lots of variety and learning.

Belinda Baardsen

It was lots of fun and very interesting for a mind that likes to know and grow! I encourage you to go at least once!

phillip tapia

It was very special to see my family being happy at the Museum

Lauren Kirton

Spectacular for date, spectacular for kids, highly stressful for an adult there with multiple kids. There's so much awesome stuff to do that it takes even fewer seconds than everywhere (anywhere!) else to lose a kid. The staff is diligent about getting them back to their people. They are very good at it. Because it happens constantly.

Michel Le Fleur

So fun to explore the ins and outs of all of thanksgiving point. This is a must stop at if you come to thanksgiving point. Great for the kids indoor and outdoor.

Shawn Larrabee

My family loves having the annual pass that gives us the ability to play at the museum whenever we want. The kids have a great time. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the crowds aren't bad if you go on a weekday.

Judd Durrant

Great way to wear the little ones out.

Korey Anderson

My children enjoyed the museum. The main jungle room was the best part. Some of the other rooms could use some updating.

Mike Navarrete

Awesome! Very cool and I leaned so much about important plants that changed history. Kids loved it!

Captain Obvious

Really fun and LOTS to do. Takes a whole day to do everything. But can get extremely busy and crowded so having extra helping hands to keep track of the kids is a must in my opinion. My kids loved the outside walkway, maze, and caves as well as the inside water area and rope course the most.

Selica Villela

The only worth your money place at Thanksgiving Point! Highly interactive! Only room was less than sub par. Everything else was the quality you expect for such high prices of entertainment for your child. Nursing mom friendly.

Donny Lloyd

There were fun things to do here but it left our family feeling disappointed. We did not feel like we got our moneys worth.

Linda Clark

This is such a great place for kids of all ages including this almost senior adult. There are so many things to see and do. Yes do it is all hands on fun. The more you touch and play in the rooms the more enjoyable your experience will be. There is plenty of staff around to answer questions on anything, from where is the water fountain to how do you work this exhibit. As an adult I always wanted a place like this where I can touch interact with the exhibits. This place is top of my list. Also a place to get a bite to eat if needed. Salad wasnt so good but others in my group had good that was good. Plan on 2-3 hours first time there, after that maybe 2 hours a trip.

Nathan Kenner

I love how much there is to do for my kids! It's rough for toddlers, say, up to three. It is definitely for kids a little older. On the flip side, it can be very overwhelming with how many kids can be there and there also is so much to do.

David Vick

This place is so much fun. A great place for parents and kids!

I love that there is something that will really catch each child's attention. Mine split up and do their own thing, but also hang out a lot together. we just have a rule they can't leave the section we are in with out mom or dad.

Wayne Price

One of the best children's museums we've been to.

Becky D

My kids love this place. They live to trade things at the trading post every time we go. I also love that they have an area that changes periodically. It can be crowded at times though.

Joseph Rowe

I am a huge fan of this place. It has SO much to do for children of all ages, and I even found myself entertained and engaged on some things. They have the building separated into sections. Each section has a lot to offer. If possible get the season pass for your family. It allows you to go as often as you'd like, this giving you time to see everything at this museum because there's so much to see.

Great for kids! The rope bridges are fun as an adult as well. Many of the activities are geared towards kids up to middle school age. We found that there were many parents leaving their kids unattended which was annoying. Hard to get mad at an uncontrolled youngster when their parents are the real problem. The facility has signs advising parents to stay with their kids, and for good reason. Overall we loved the facility!

Sam Barfuss

We have a membership and I took the boys on the ropes course. They were so scared but the boy working was extremely helpful and guided them through the whole thing! We love this museum so much and the membership is so worth it!

Holly Roberts

This is a place we could spend hours and hours! I do not think we ever get bored of going here!

A great place for children to learn and explore in a safe environment. There are activities for children of every age. There's a wide variety of things for them to do and we're always finding new things to try out. Highly recommended!

Karli Ann

My 3,5 &7 year old all had such a great time here!! I would highly recommend this place!!

Stuart Roskelley

A lot of fun for kids. There's tons to do for all ages and lots to explore. A bit pricey unless you get a family pass and go lots of times.

Bret Van Leeuwen

A wonderful place for ANY age, especially parents and grandparents wanting some quality & educational time with the younger ones. They spark curiosity, they unleash the excitement of seeing mammoth skeletons up close, and have lots of hands-on displays made to pique the minds of youngsters (up to 80).

Dan Eckley

Nothing much adults will enjoy but 3 to 7 maybe 8 year olds will love it.

Courtney Stout

This place was so fun! My one-year-old had tons of fun, and I was glad that he was able to get in for free. We loved the water world, and the little rooms that had plastic balls to play with, and foam blocks. It's such a cute museum for kids, and I can definitely see my family coming back again.

Ton of fun

Blue October Tutorials

Pretty open and clean. Lots of stuff for the kids and little toddlers. The staff are a little too picky about the guest rule, but overall a pretty good place to take your child.

Kimber Daley

This is a delightful museum! We had toddlers through pre-teens in our group, and they all had a wonderful time. It was a bit pricey so I would recommend carving out several hours to make your time worth the admission fee.

The Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point is a great place for the whole family, especially with small children. A great place to learn and play. The prices are on the higher side, but worth it if you say for a few hours. If you happen to be there when schools visit you will share the place with a bunch of kids running around...even so, your kids will enjoy it.

I wish something like this was around when I was a kid. My son loves the rope bridge and the cave in the gardens, but he's also learning most of the time he's there. Just ask your child some simple questions at the exhibits and watch their wheels turn. Lots of changes for kids to learn by doing and observing. Many activities to wear them out, too ;)

Mickel Thorsen

This place is awesome, my kids have a blast every time we bring them

This place is going down hill. The climbing/side structure started out with a great stretchy spider web area that was almost two stories tall. You could start at the top and wiggle your way to bottom through the stretchable webbing or start at the bottom and climb to the top. My kids loved that area and it was one of the few areas I could participate with them. Now It has been switched to a thick stiff roping that makes the area completely useless. It's painful and useless.

Great place for the little ones to expand their curious and energetic minds. We go about once a month. Probably more during winter when it's harder to get outside.

Austin Bowden

Awesome museum with many curious activities. Kids loved it, and i found it quite entertaining.
