You will be able to see the information of people like you who used the services of Moab Giants (Museum) in the state of Utah.
Currently this firm has a score of 4.3 over 5 and the rating was based on 746 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is good, and it is based on a large number of reviews, so we may say that the rating is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to give scores when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Museum is classified in the category of Open air museum.
We hung out here for nearly 3 hours! My kids from age 3 to 10 loved the dino trail and outdoor excavation area. Staff was friendly and the gift shop had an excellent selection of all things dinos! The cafe was slow on service and the food wasn't great, but I still rated 5 stars since everything else was awesome!
Cool place to visit and very informative.
Definitely a tourist trap with its high fee and underwhelming attractions. If you are in the Moab area there are way better places like the adjacent national parks and the state park to explore than this museum. If you find yourself here by any chance, do not make the mistake of ordering food at their Cafe. They will take ages to prepare your order.
The museum was fine. Our kids had fun running around and seeing the dinosaur models. The thing that bothered me was the cafe says it’s open until 6. We decided we’d play until 5 and then gather the kids to go eat dinner before heading back home. At 5:20 we were in the cafe, washing hands and getting seated as I was going up to order dinner. The girl behind the counter told me they were closed because “we need to try to be out of here by 6.” Her attitude was clearly uncaring and almost like she couldn’t wait to get out of there. Perhaps their boss told them they have to clock out by 6, and in that case the signage needs to change. If not, she was being lazy in shutting things down early so she could go home. Also, it’s no Disneyland and that’s fine, but the guides in the theater and the aquarium were clueless and stumbled around their lines and kept apologizing. They just seemed unprepared and I had hoped to learn something at a museum but instead got clueless, less than interested high school kids. Every employee I interacted with seemed annoyed or inconvenienced by my presence. Overall, our kids had fun but the lack of attention to details made me wonder why I spent so much money when I could have taken the kids to a park and they’d have had just as much fun. Also, I noticed after reading through other reviews the owner only responds to 5 star reviews. Probably ignoring the rest, which is obvious because if they read the bad reviews perhaps they’d do something about their apathetic employees.
Super fun, well kept. Paleo-Aquarium theater unique and exciting. Kids loved it. Small gift shop.
Good local dinosaur museum for people who is interested in the dinosaurs. Outdoor dinosaurs paths are great. Our family enjoyed the indoor museum, 3D movie, outdoor dinosaurs path, and 3D aquarium.
A little bit pricey, the walk and theater and virtual aquarium was cool, museum not as much.
Awesome outdoor experience, aquarium is unlike anything I've seen. The 3d could be longer and the museum could offer more fossles.
This place is amazing. Came here for my boys, but the entire group ended up loving it. The 3D aquarium was so fun and really amazing. The dinosaur tail was stunning and the models were very realistic and in perfect condition. Would definitely return if we're ever in Moab again.
A great place to see replicas of the dinosaurs and to let the kids run off some energy on the walking trail. Our grandson enjoyed the he Fossil Dig where they could dig for bones.
Cool interactive dinosaur museum. Cool for all ages!
Fun, interesting to see. Didnt get there in time to see museum or movie but were able to walk thru the park. It was about 103 degrees, but there were pay machines for water n other beverages partway thru the park. 1 water fountain and we brought our own water of course.
Great place for the dinosaur lover in your family. Be sure to bring sunscreen, and don't miss out on the virtual reality aquarium. Also, there are great shaded "dig sites" (i.e., sand boxes with faux fossils buried in them) for the kiddos.
Very nice staff.
I have been two times with some friends and it was fun ! The 3D aquarium is realy good !
More a place for small children than adults. Since I have no children in my group, it has little interest for me personally
Super cool Dinosaur trail! Great healthier food choices in the cafe!
Great place to take any ages who are interested in dinosaurs.
Good place for the little ones. A bit of a tourist trap.
A really well done dinasoar museum. Plan on a 3 hour stay to do everything offered. It is a bit pricey. If a senior, be sure to request the discount. The walking tour is 1/2 mile and flat with numerous resting spots.
The food is nice but the fact there were ants on the table....
It was really cool to see the life size giants up close.
Decent place to visit if you are already in Moab . You can see everything in probably an hour if you time the two short attractions right, they are scheduled attractions if you miss a time you could be waiting a half hour for the next. The kids enjoyed the dino-walk about and several life size dino displays.
We had an absolute blast and it was a nice break from 4x4! By far one of the best dinosaur displays we've ever seen and my kids very much enjoyed it! The staff was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable!
If you're in Moab area, visiting Arches and Canyonlands, stop by here. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults who like to learn about dinosaurs. There are also play areas for kids and you can take pictures with some of the dinosaurs.
Fun place to visit, especially if you can get in before the crowds. Lots of great history and information
Great place for kids. Theater was lacking in the presentation
Extremely poor customer service at the food center. We ordered five kids meals, and then had to go ask for the toys that were supposed to come with them. We were told that there were only three left, and they were small cheap things that you would not even give to a child. We had four groups with us and it took on average 10 minutes per to place the order, and then we had to wait almost a half an hour for all of us to get our meals. Not sure what the delay was, as all of it was frozen food that only needed to be heated up (French fries, chicken nuggets, and burgers). One member of the party went out the back door to take a picture, as it is a scenic area, and she was immediately chastised quite rudely and told to go back in because she did not have a ticket to the park. While I understand the reasoning, it could have been handled with much more tact. There was no toilet paper left in the women's room, and instead of replacing it, we were told to walk quite a bit further to the next one. Throughout the whole experience, the three women that were working this location were extremely rude and had poor customer service skills. once I return from vacation, I will be calling the establishment to discuss this.
Great people.
Really well done dinosaur park. Prices a bit much, but kids loved it and the big dinosaurs make for some really good pictures. If kids are a bit older, this is good education as well. Lots of descriptions in each exhibit. Kinda creepy how well some of the dinosaurs blend in to the surroundings in Moab. Easy access from here to the main paved trail too.
Absolutely loved this place. Will definitely be back! The Paleo Aquarium was super cool!
Fun for the whole family.
$70 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Plenty to explore and educational. Staff is friendly as well. Plan on coming back.
This is not regarding the park itself, but operations. We drove from over an hour away to take advantage of a rare discount day only to learn they were closing early (without warning).
Good place to spend whit family
Love the park and the playground. The staff in the Cafe are super unfriendly and the atmosphere is really uninviting. They could definitely put people with more personality I there and they might get better reviews.
Impressive outdoor dinosaur walk! Some of the high tech interactive displays weren't all that great, but quality of the dinosaur replicas and the placement in the environment is worth it. Also has a dinosaur dig and climbing areas for little kids.
Great place! Our 4 year old daughter loved it and so did I. Great attention to detail on the big dino sculptures, very nice little musuem and the aquatic life 3D exhibit was pretty great as well. Cool concept with the 3D screens!
This place was a lot of fun! Driving past it on way to Moab i was mot expecting to see giant t rex statues and was caught off gaurd i knew had to go back and look around!
Nothing like it.
Excellent scientifically accurate outdoor displays of dinosaurs. These models are actual size and really bring home what these animals actually looked like and how big or small they were, much better than displays of skeletons in museums. There is a heavy emphasis on dinosaur footprints and trackways and a well presented analysis of which tracks may go with which dinosaurs. The 3D movie is OK, but not real interesting. The "aquarium" 3D display is very interesting, as it is hard to see examples of ocean dwelling dinosaurs and understand their size and movements. The small museum has some interesting exhibits. There are many activities for children, but as adults these were not interesting to us. The only complaint I have is the place is too kid oriented in many places (especially the gift shop) and most of the kid visitors are ill mannered with overly permissive parents. The outdoor dino trail is about 1/2 mile long and is a wide, relatively smooth path, with very little vertical gain or loss (<25 feet). The place has some reputation as a "tourist trap", but I think this is ill deserved, as there is a lot of scientific information that is well presented.
Fun place, great time!!
Found this place by accident one of the coolest places I've ever been to!
If you're looking for a place to explore and learn more about dinosaurs, this place has them! It's a great place for kids to explore and learn. It's a little expensive.
This is an amazing place. I have kids 4, 6, 12 and 15 and everyone was really excited and impressed. They have all been to the major theme parks and many cities across the US but my 15 year old said this was the coolest ever. We bought the family day pass and got in for under $100. The trail alone is worth the drive but the 5d aquarium is spectacular and worth the extra cost. You could spend hours looking and takeing photos or make it a quick couple hour excursion. I highly recommend Moab Giants with or without kids it is awesome.
Tourist trap but it was a great place to visit during some poor weather. The kids enjoyed it alot. The cafe was nice and convenient.
Interesting dinosaur museum, my kids love the outdoor area but not the museum or theaters, those areas weren't very kid friendly.
Such a fun place. My 3 year old loved it.
I went on a snowy day in February. with two young girls. The road into Canyonlands NP looked as if they would be treacherous, so we opted to enjoy Moab Giants. It was interesting. The girls loved it!
Beautiful dinosaur sculptures but was closed when we arrived opens around 10 or 11 am so can't give it a 5 star
A MUST SEE!!! It's as though you are on another planet......
Great fun for kids for and two hours.
Absolutely wonderful place for a couple for family amazing
Such a great place for kids who love dinosaurs! The highlight of the trip for my 7 year old nephew.
Surprisingly informative. The walk around the dinosaurs was longer than I thought it would be. Whole lot more dinosaurs than I thought they would have. The Aquarium Show was outstanding.
This place is awesome. The dinosaurs are wicked cool, there are dig sites for kids to play in and a playground. My 2 year old had a blast and so did I.
Great break for kids, not bad for parents either
Went spent 3 hours there with my 2 kids, 9 and 11. Had a wonderful time in the 5D aquarium, then discovering the dinosaurs outside, then the museum.
We only visited the restaurant on our way to Moab but not the dinosaur park. The restaurant offers a broad range of freshly prepared meals and the kids will love the frozen yoghurt. We will certainly return to visit the dinosaur park. Update: We returned as planned to visit the outdoor area with our grandson. We all enjoyed the walk and the area to explore. Extremely well made exhibition. Certainly worth the money, however, entry fees seem to be rather high.
Loved it and our son had an amazing time!
They need people excited about working there. They have carts to pull your kids in with no umbrellas and the plastic gets HOT HOT, the water fountains taste like copper and is DARK DARK brown, the soda machine they have will take your money and they won't help with it.... Worst place to spend your money!!!
Loved this place! Only real issue we had was the people inside the restaurant seemed like we were inconveniencing them by walking in to order and interrupting their cell phone time. Other than that this place was awesome
Way over priced for what is there. Displays are nice and they had some nice 3-D movies although they weren't in focus with the glasses for the entire movie.
This place is a money pit!!! You have to pay extra to see every exhibit. The dinosaurs were cool to look at but it was sad that you could only get close to a few of them. However if you want a real experience drink the water along the trail because that is what I imagine dinosaur pee tastes like. There were misters along the trail but instead of misting they barely trickled. The museum was so dark that my son tripped over a small post and got a big scratch on his stomach. It also so dark that it was a little creepy. There was nothing real in there either everything is fake. The staff was rude. I thought it was incredibly dumb that I had to walk outside to buy tickets when the guy selling them was sitting 4ft away from me doing nothing. My advice just look at the dinosaurs as you drive by and save your money for something better.
It was awesome!
So much fun!! If you love dinosaurs, you must stop here. The life size replicas are so real looking, it is almost scary. Bring the sunscreen, it's hot and you are outside, but totally work it!
Great place to stop and cool off. Great location between parks, the kids will love it.
Took my son and he loved it!!
LOTS OF FUN!!! this place would have easily taken a give star review due to exhibits and quality of park but the people inside if the restaurant area and gift shop were not friendly or engaging with kids need to put down there cell phones and put on a smile and not act like they hate their job this was from more than one person we encountered sad considering the quality of the park itself!
Looked much cooler from the road but definitely not worth the $70 it cost to get my five-member family in
The kids had fun, be that's what matters, but a little barren of perks for the $50 it cost for the family of 5 to enter. Ages 3, 5 and 8.
We had a great time. The life size dinosaurs were very realistic. Great for all ages but felt it was a little costly.
It was a very nice stop in our road trip. Fun for the kids. It took us 2 hours to walk around and we did it pretty fast because was more than 100°F my poor son was soooo hot but he was fine after a few thinks he got in the cool store. Worth the stop.
Nice place for families Winther kids that have interest in Dinosaurs. There is a trail, a small theater, a virtual aquarium (8 screens (3D) in a dark room), a small museum and a nice Dino shop. Place have a god size - not to big - not to small. Easy parking even with a RV. Recommended stop if you are passing by or are in the area of Moab. Only 3 stars because compared to other parcs we wisited in Europe, the displayed Dinosaur models along the trail is not so realistic and well made as seen elsewhere. But conclusion: worth a visit.
This place is very well done. Definitely a great place to take the kids.
My child is OBSESSED with dinosaurs. This is our second dinosaur excursion. He loved this park. The walk through the dinosaur grounds was spectacular. All the dinosaurs are life size and some you can even go pet. There is a theater that plays a short educational movie, my friends 4 year old said that was her favorite part. My favorite part was the virtual aquarium, full of all the water dinosaurs my kid loves, especially the mosasaurus! Finally there is a little play area and a park with an excavation area for digging up bones. Tickets may seem pricey but the amount of Dino's you can see will not disappoint any little dinosaur enthusiast!
My son loved the place - I thought it was ok... Maybe a bit expensive for what you get. They have a swing on the playground that was really interesting - kinda like a tire swing, but more like a web - anyway, not worth coming just for the swing, but if you're there you should give it a try. I thought it was amazing and am going to be trying to find something like it for my backyard. The aquarium - paleoaquarium or whatever they were calling it - was kinda cool, but having seen it once I won't be back unless it's with kids who haven't been there.
It's Good!
Well worth the time and money - so much and so educational.
This was an amazing place to visit with my littles (age 6,3, and 2) while my husband was out mountain biking. We loved the dinosaur hike, digging for dinosaur bones and even the little cafe was perfect for our needs. Definitely would stop here again when we come back.
This was the first attraction of it's kind I have come across. So glad we stopped. Loved every bit of it. It is very high tech.
fun place. Not a fan of the the theater or paleo aquarium but the dinosaur walk, cafe, museum and play areas were great. The staff was also wonderful.
Awesome place great for the kids
Our 12 year old grandson had a wonderful time, he loves dinosaurs and exploring. We purchased the outdoor package and spent 3 hours. The misters along the path need attention, only one worked well. Although the cafe food was great, albeit expensive, it took a very, very long time for them to prepare it! Be prepared to wait!
Interesting place. We didn't go all the way through since it wasnt in our plans, but the dinosaurs looked cool and my kids enjoyed seeing them.
Great little museum, loved the 5D Paleo Aquarium exhibit. The outdoor hike was ver informative and I loved the local flavor.
I went on a trail and on the way you will find a pole with a button press the button and it will mist you because it is hot because it is in the desert
It's kinda random and not that great but I guess the kids liked it. Only did the outside stuff. Cafe is pretty good.
This place was looked great, but the employees were extremely rude!! One of the employees grabbed my arm because I wanted to just glance at a fake carved out dinosaur. If you walk in without paying u get prosecuted and pay double admission I stepped over the boundary line like 1 ft, that's when I was grabbed and told do I have a pass? So I just went and saw the "free dinosaur" out by highway on display.
We live almost 2 hours away but since I have a 4 year old that loves dinosaurs we went. Price was huge considering what was there. Almost $60 for three of us (Adult teen and 4 year old). Aquarium was very cool but Theater was seriously lacking. The full size Dino's were fun but really don't think the price of admission was worth it. Cafe and gift shop were closed early.
Kids loved it. Worth the money for the family pass.
Fun place for the family
interesting place ideal for families with children, large dinosaurs. very nice service
It's a bit expensive to see some giant plastic toys, but I do understand
Had a great time with the family, we enjoyed all the Dinosaurs
Fun cool little place. Awesome for kids and neat even for adults
A little pricy for such an exhibit for kids.
Cool place to visit with kids but also very hot
Better than expected
Loved it. Shark attack 3d movie theatre was awesome. Cool special features. Loved walking around and seeing the dinosaurs. Will come again for sure.
This was so fun! We visited with little kids after hiking to delicate arch and even then we all still had a blast! It’s not really big but it takes a bit of time to go through with little kids. We went in the heat of June but there was plenty of shaded rest spots and cooling stations so the heat wasn’t bad!
Our daughter loved this place. The entire family had a good time. The aquarium was great along with the dinosaurs on the trek. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
On the side of the hwy, but tbh it's pretty great. The exhibits look new and are vy interactive for kids. Def go if it's too hot for hikes.
Go early in the day to avoid to allow the little ones play in the playground without the toys being burning hot. The place has plenty of shaded spots throughout the dinosaur trail. Look for the water misters they make a really nice cooling breeze.
We showed up when it opened and there was no one to be seen at the ticket booth. After waiting for a while we walked into the gift shop looking for a staff member and no one was to be seen. We walked around the gift shop for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to show up, but no one ever came. The frustrating part is the fact that we could hear giggle in the cafe. Come to find out it was the staff all chitchatting in the cafe rather than doing their job. The staff obviously doesn’t care enough to pay attention to their customers. I would not recommend this place to any one. I’m highly disappointed!
Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Tasteful and well done.
Definitely worth the price! We swung by on a lark because the kids saw dinosaurs, and I'm glad we did. We got the discovery family pass for about $70, which let 2 adults and 2 kids in. The place is pretty big, half outdoor and half indoor. There's a playground, a mini dinosaur dig, and then maybe a half mile loop (stroller friendly) where the big dinosaurs are. The models are to scale, and very detailed. For the inside portion they have a 3D theater, a museum, and a 3D paleo aquarium. The museum is small but has a lot of interactive stuff. The aquarium honestly blew my expectations away! It's high quality 3D, and the tour guide really knows her stuff. There is a section at the end that involves a pretty intense megalodon attack, I wouldn't take younger kids in but the older kids had a blast. On a side note the lady was very polite about letting me and one of the kids skip it. I guess the takeaway is this is definitely a stop to make if you're in Moab. It's easy to find, and it's also right next to an entrance of Dead Horse State Park so it's easy to make a "day out" in one trip.
Fun place to take the littles. The inside portions werent really worth the extra cost and not an everytime we are in moab stop but go at least once!
You can pay just to walk around the outside and see all the dinosaurs and play at the playground. Or you can pay to watch the two films and see the little Museum and walk around the outside. The aquarium film is really fun. The theater film talks about how the Earth and planets are created. It was fascinating for me but my girls didn't understand anything. The little museum has some interactive things for kids and adults.
Owner is very rude we were on the road for 3 hours before we got there. We really needed to use the restrooms but she wouldn't let us before we bought a ticket. We were going to go to the museum but pushed past her to use the bathroom and didn't give her a cent. Looks like a nice place but me and my family will never go back
Great Fun. The kids and parents loved it. Our favorite part was the 5D Aquarium, and the TRex.
Unexpected oasis, this is a must see for all ages, I feel like I'm in Jurassic Park
The life size dinosaurs are amazing and humbling. Really brings them to life in a whole new way. Highly recommended for kids. My kid has gone at 1.5 and 2.5 loves it. The movie stuff is kinda lackluster though.
Fun place. Wishing the ladies at the cafe a beautiful day. They must not like their job, come on a smile is easy!
This is such a fantastic place! What a find! We didn't even get to do everything there was to do. My only complaint was that the guide for the 3D aquarium needed a microphone. It was hard to hear him unless you were right next to him. But the dinosaur trail was awesome. We'll be back! I do wish the gift shop carried more adult books. I was really wanting to find a book on the geology of the area. After walking the trail, I was curious to know more. The price was really fair. We live in Denver, and we pay more for a visit to an attraction with less to do. Highly recommended!
Definitely a fun place to go with the family.
An absolute must see if you're in Moab. It's very close to the entrance of Arches national park. The museum is lacking and they don't have any actual dinosaur bones on display but the outdoor area is so cool. They have life size dinosaur replicas. The paleo aquarium is unique and a fun experience. The shark attack at the end isn't scary but it's not for young kids. Don't bother with the movie because it's so badly inaccurate and not even about dinosaurs. Also the cafe is awful. Save your money and go into town to eat where there's lots of great restaurants. My bread was hard as a rock and totally incredible. The staff here needs some coffee because they're all miserable, slow and act like you're the biggest inconvenience to their existence.
We arrived at 2pm..... No.fresh water restroom closed cooker was moaping the floor even if they close at 6pm....
So much fun they have such great service and the dinosaurs look so real. The kids absolutely loved it.
I found it interesting to find all of these relics of dinosaurs. The life size and life like ones they made for us to help understand the past. Is amazing
Nice to spend time with family and kid's
The people were great and the souvenirs were reasonably priced.
So much fun! My son had a blast. I would recommend older children only in the aquarium part but the surprise in there was very fun! I love all the detail in the dinosaurs. The cafe is a little slow since it is made to order but the food was very good and I prefer waiting for fresh made food. We will return on our next visit!
It was so cool
This place was way more fun than we expected. It is very high tech and engaging for all ages. I expected to spend 30 minutes at a sleet dinosaur museum and my family ended up being entertained for hours! All for $70 family entry price. Cafeteria was a little overpriced and not the greatest service IMO.
A variety of cool dinosaurs to see outside. It definitely caught our eyes driving by on our way to the arches! The price was a little bit high for a 20-30 minute walk around the park though. It was a fun & short activity to do
Seeing these full sized dinosaurs is AMAZING and I highly recommend coming by and checking them out yourself! Some are just for looking at, while others can be interacted with. A very fun day but bring some shade with you as the dinosaurs are outdoors on a very easy to hike trail.
So fun! Lots of things to see and do. Well worth the price!
Life sized, realistic dinosaurs in the desert!!! As well as a museum and a place to eat. All while being surrounded by one of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth! What more could you want?
This is a fun museum. There is a walk were you go through and see life size models of dinosaurs. These models are well done. There is a museum you can walk through with interactive displays for the kids and many fossil remains. They have an "aquarium" where you walk through to see the underwater life in the ancient sea. Each display is a 3D screen but it is well done and let's you get an idea what the sea creatures were like. The kids loved the playground, large sand boxes to dig for bones, etc. Make sure you bring sunscreen and water as most of this is outside!
Neat place to go with little kids. Not so much for Adults and teens.
I've ready many reviews about this place that the price didn't match the services. I would have to disagree with this. I brought my 3 year old son (free admission for 3 years and under). He had such an amazing time that I would have been completely fine with paying a fee for him. He enjoyed the dinosaur trail approx. 1/2 mile long) and bone excavation areas. Some of the dinosaurs he was able to walk up to and touch. There is also a playground and theater with 3D shows. The gift shop items were decently priced. Also there is a cafeteria on site. I would definitely return.
Great place to stop to take your kids if you are into dinosaurs.
Insane. Love Moab.
100% fun for adults a children. If you are doing a long trip with lots of driving it's a great place to stop and stretch your legs. The dinosaur trail with life sized dinosaurs make is fun for everyone of all ages. Surrounding all the fun is the beautiful Moab Landscapes which makes your believe you have been sent back into a different time.
Life-size T-Rex. Scary grrrr
Was a great experience. Might be hot in Moab during August but kids were so excited to walk the trails. The dinosaurs are beautifully done and there are misters throughout the walk- cool off in the shade and kids can dig in dig sites. The aquarium movie was awesome! Very well done, and they people are so kind and patient. Well informed and just a really amazing experience for us adults too. The museum and the movie was very informative and the displays were really interesting and kept kids engaged too! We have seen a lot of dinosaurs on display ( living in Colorado,) and this has been voted one of our favorites! Really great- if you have kids who know their dinosaurs and are amazed to get up and close with them... this place is it! Top of our list- well done! And you can always cool down in the AC movies/cafe/gift shop! After you see that go to the fossil shop in town- another great place !
